As I look back two months ago when I started this journey, I didn't realize that I was changing my life for good. A lot of the things that have happened to me were thanks to read.cash and BCH.
Back in 2019 I got scammed; unscrupulous people prayed on the need of others and I got caught in the web. I almost lost my house because of it, and all I needed was a few bucks to get medicines for my dad. He was sick, very sick, and he needed continuous treatment that we couldn't afford. At that time I was contacted via Facebook by a "Friend" who asked me to sell dollars on his behalf in exchange for a small commission for me, and this person knew me because he knew personal stuff that very few people know about. So, I fell for it and found him a buyer and the scam was made, and by the time I realized what had happened, it was too late.
Because of this, I started to look for ways to make money to help my dad and to pay the debt caused by the scam since the buyer put the debt on me because I was the contact. Yes, I was innocent and naive but mostly desperate for a way to help my father, but after he died, the buyer released me from the debt when he saw me crying over my dad's coffin, he thought I had suffered enough.
My search stopped for a little period but last year I started to look again, for my mom and me, I don't want to go through the same experience again. I found an Investment Site that offers a Free Bitcoin Miner and with the BTC you mine you can trade inside the page. That profit can be withdrawn, later on, so I got to 10$ and started fine, then the market crashed and I lost it all, the initial 10$ and the other 10$ I had already made. I gave up at that point...
My life started to change when I was introduced to the Write to Earn sites in May 2021. I got a referral link for Hive and I loved it, although I was scared at first because I'm not a writer and I tend to ramble on, but through Hive I found read.cash without looking for it.
I didn't know about BCH only that it's a cryptocurrency and that's that. My first article here Play the Drumrolls please, I'm Walking In! This is my presentation ️️, ️️ was my introduction and I thought it wasn't going to pan out. To my surprise it did, and two months later I'm writing my first article of October and giving thanks to God and the founders of read.cash and Sir MarcDeMesel for giving simple people like me the opportunity to change our lives forever.
My Earnings
Since I started, I have written 52 posts, composed by 42 full articles, and 10 short posts from which I've earned 105, 03 USD! For September alone I wrote 23 full articles and 7 short posts and those gave me 76, 42USD.
Remember my article As of September, I'll start to live out of Read.Cash!?
Well, in there I shared with you that I was going to quit my job as a General Manager/Director of an Orchestral Foundation in which my salary was 16 USD per month, you read right, 16 USD per month.
So you see, in one month, I made almost five times my old salary just writing, learning, sharing, and learning with you all here on read.cash.
Most of that money has been well spent covering the needs of my house like I said in Welcome September! That has allowed me to avoid debt and also indulge in some stuff because let's face it, we are humans and sometimes we can allow ourselves to be pampered. But I've saved also some of it because I want to grow along with BCH, I want to build a love story with it. What a cheesy line, right?
This is what I have left after covering my household expenses; for some people is not much at all, for me at this point is the beginning of something wonderful.
What I've Learned
The first thing I learned when I joined this platform was this: I'm not alone. I have read some really good content written by people who came here to improve their writing skills, to share their stories, to earn some pocket money, or like me, to make a living. And yes, I didn't need read.cash to realize that I'm not alone, but sometimes we are so caught up in our mess that we forget that many people are struggling as we are or even worse, so, reading and writing here took me to the ground and made me aware of the fact that I'm not alone.
The second thing is that I found out that, if I concentrate enough, I can write fiction. I was shocked to see that My first adventure as a Writer. and Amanda's Mirror: The Aftermath were well received over here and that made me happy because I didn't know I had a sort of skill in that area since most of the stuff I write is about food and nonsense.
The third and final thing is that I know more about crypto than before, don't get me wrong, I'm still a dummy, but I have learned how to exchange them to my currency, I've learned the importance of the seed phrases and how to store them properly, and most of all, I've learned how to be patient when the market falls, like it did last week, and not to sell out of panic and despair. That's important if like me, you are living from it, because we can't afford to lose what little we have, so, that for me is an accomplishment.
My Goals
For September I set myself a goal to write two times a day and I crashed and burned. Not only for personal reasons but because of external reasons that I couldn't control and made me unable to get the job done like I wanted to. For October I won't set a number, instead, I will let things go at their own pace if I write every day so be it, if I can't I'll work twice as hard to make up for the lost time.
I do want to do three things though:
1.- I want to finish the saga of Amanda's Mirror with a third and final chapter, maybe start a new one...
2.- I want to sponsor more people and increase the tips I give to others...
3.- I want to finish building the bridge between CoinFlex and my Metamask wallet, even if it means that I have to get up a 3 am and work at that time...
Final words
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of my sponsors for the trust and the support: @ARTicLEE @CoquiCoin @rodriguezpct @charmingcherry08 @Codename_Chikakiku @King_Gozie @Jher0122 @Freedom007, sorry for the tags guys, but you have my gratitude!
To all the people who make this platform what it is, its developers, its contributors, and most of all, its writers, thank you for being awesome and I look forward to another month with you all!
✨✨Blessings✨✨

It is a strength to learn from our mistakes, although it is very little what I have earned, it is still my first step to improve my income, I still do not write daily, it is difficult for me, but I try to keep in contact This month has to be better. Happy day to you
