Same income. Same mindset. #fblifestyle #motivational #inspirational #motivationalquotes #inspirationalquotes

Yes, all feelings are valid. We’re human — we feel hurt, anger, disappointment, and sometimes even the urge to react. But not every behavior that comes from those feelings is right. Feel what you need to feel. Sit with it. Understand it. Heal from it. Just remember that protecting your peace also means protecting your dignity. Being emotional doesn’t give anyone the right to disrespect others — and loving yourself means not tolerating disrespect either. You can be kind and still have boundaries. You can be understanding and still walk away. Not every battle needs a reaction, but every heart deserves respect. 🤍
Whether it is a movie night, or a dream trip a long walk every afternoon "just because" or a purchase to save up for I'll keep the calendars full of good anticipation not as an escape from the world but as an expression of hope for all it has still to offer, and each day that I have yet to experience it 💌
There are things in life that will take everything from you and still remain the same. And maybe the lesson was never to try harder, but to recognize when it’s no longer worth your energy.
Filipino humor is interesting in the sense that it is always framed on satirizing or cushioning social issues, we have a network making riders dance while the price of gas is going up. We have Vice Ganda who mastered this craft by masking criticisms as jokes like with the recent student who had a hard time recognizing the Malacañang Palace, and we even have the legendary segment in Eat Bulaga where Jose fell in polluted water. And who could forget the brilliant skits made by Michael V? And in every social issue Filipinos have this ability to make humorous memes as a means to externalize their own understanding and experience with these issues. It is somewhat a reflection of how aware Filipinos are in terms of material struggle which is good, but the opposite effect is that it normalizes the issue to the point that we no longer see it as a social issue but a natural course of our everyday life. These jokes and skits are made because it is relatable, and it is relatable because of how rampant these issues are for everyone, and you can tell someone's economic class by the jokes they understand. Kanal (non-derogatory) humor is mass based.
At one point during our relationship naisip ko yan. Then it hit me; Kaya siya ganiyan, eh kasi hindi naman niya ako maasahan. She took the lead, I followed. Akala ko I was just doing what she wants kasi 'di ba yun mindset ng most BF? I never took the lead, just rode the wave. She felt responsible for things na dapat ako na nagha-handle. So I changed, slowly but surely. And suddenly one day, napansin ko nalang iba na yung glow niya. Truth is— men want a soft woman, but never commit to being responsible enough for her. Idk about you, pero it took me at least 5+ years to learn, swerte ko lang na may partner akong patient sakin 🤍
“Closed mouths don’t get fed.” Kanina around 6PM rush hour, nahirapan talaga akong magbook ng ride. Eh ₱13 yung pamasahe. Kulang ako ng piso. Mababaw man pakinggan sa iba, pero that moment medyo na-stress ako. Then suddenly may naalala akong video sa TikTok na nagsabi ng isang simpleng lesson: “Speak up when you need help. Closed mouths don’t get fed.” So I took a deep breath. Ngumiti siya at sabi niya, “No, it’s fine.” Tapos inabot niya sa akin yung pera. Pagtingin ko… ₱100. She insisted. So tinanggap ko nalang, sobrang thankful. You know what’s beautiful about this moment? Pinili kong lumapit sa isang babae. Hindi dahil sa stereotype, kundi dahil alam kong women often carry a natural compassion to help others. May instinct sila na umunawa, tumulong, at magbigay kahit sa simpleng paraan. And she proved that to be true. So thank you so much again, Miss Adie. You didn’t just give me ₱100. You restored my faith that kindness still exists in small everyday moments. Happy International Women’s Month. To all the women out there who lead with empathy, courage, and kindness, the world needs more people like you. Some people might see this as mababaw. Isang piso lang naman yung problema. Pero for me, this moment was a reminder that even in a world where everyone is busy, stressed, and dealing with their own problems, there are still people who choose kindness. And it also reminded me of something important: Sometimes, the hardest part is simply speaking up. So if there’s one lesson I want to share today, it’s this: Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you truly need it. And hopefully, stories like this remind us to be like her. Because sometimes, the smallest act of kindness can completely change someone’s day. “Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything to someone.” P.S. 😭 If anyone here knows her, please help me find her so I can thank her again properly. Also, if you’ve experienced a similar act of kindness from a stranger, share your story in the comments too. Let’s spread more stories like this. 🤍 #happyinternationalwomensday
This made me realize something important about some women: true peace often only comes when we hear the whole truth. Psychologically, closure matters. When someone wrongs us, our minds replay the “what happened” over and over. Some women can only start to heal when they see the facts, hear the explanation, and witness accountability. Without that, forgiveness can feel impossible. Not everyone will understand this. Some women will never forgive, especially when the other person continues to lie, gaslight, or manipulate not just to them, but in front of everyone else. And when the people around them tolerate it, it amplifies the pain. But when the truth is laid bare, even if it’s hard to hear, there’s a quiet kind of healing. There’s power in closure seeing everything clearly, understanding the intentions, and finally having the evidence that aligns with your feelings. Only then can you decide how to move forward, not out of confusion, but out of clarity and self-respect.
I owe myself an apology for carrying people who wouldn't do the same for me. For staying quiet when my chest was on fire. For forgiving too quickly and loving too loudly when all I wanted was someone to meet me halfway. I owe myself an apology for calling it strength to keep breaking, for forgetting that I was worth saving too.
I have high respect for friends/people who admits this. I realized that as we grow older, we don’t need expensive restaurants, travels and luxury. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have it, we should definitely experience these as well but staying on the budget we have set not to please others is so much better than us worrying in the end. And please don’t be guilty of having dinners outside, travels and stuff, but make sure you save for it so you can avoid borrowing to other people next time. People may laugh at you for staying on your budget but you have to remember that you are not doing it for them but for yourself. It’s discipline. It’s taking care of what’s more important. No because it’s not part of the budget. No because it can wait. No because I’m saving for something better. If a friend really cares for you and your needs, they won’t push you into spending large amount of money that’s out of your range. Don’t let “friends” pressure you to spend beyond your means. Make sure you have the right people beside you. Financial freedom starts with saying “no.” too. He Writes for Him.
When I tell a story, I include the parts where I was wrong too. The moments I overreacted. The things I said out of anger. The times I didn’t show up as my best self. Because a story isn’t honest if it only paints you as the victim. Some people tell stories to protect their image. They remove their mistakes, soften their role, and leave out the parts that make them uncomfortable. But truth doesn’t work like that. Truth is messy. It shows everyone’s fingerprints, including mine. So when I tell a story, I tell the whole thing. The good, the bad, and the parts that don’t flatter me. And that’s our difference.
Maybe romantic love isn’t at the forefront of my life right now. Not because I don’t believe in it, and not because I’ve closed my heart to the possibility of it someday. But because right now, my life is asking me to grow in other ways. To learn myself more deeply. To build a life that feels whole even when I’m the only one in the room. There are days when I realize that love is already present in quiet forms. In the peace I’m slowly learning to give myself. In the dreams I’m patiently building. In the way I’m choosing healing over rushing into something just to fill the silence. Maybe this season isn’t about finding someone. Maybe it’s about becoming someone. And maybe the most honest kind of love I can give right now is the one I’m finally learning to give to myself.
There was a time when the work felt purposeful. Deadlines were challenges, not burdens. Long hours meant growth, not exhaustion. But somewhere along the way, passion became pressure. Excitement turned into endurance. What once energized you now simply demands survival. In many corporate spaces, this shift happens quietly. High performers rarely announce burnout. Professionals don’t always say they’re drowning they deliver, they attend, they comply. And they cope in silence. Sustainable excellence was never meant to feel like quiet suffering. Because work should challenge you but it should not slowly erase you. If “I love what I do” has turned into “I just need to survive this,” it may not be a failure of capability. It may simply be time for a strategic reset.
The more I grow older, the more I appreciate wholesome things. Genuine friendships without hidden motives, laughter that isn't at someone's expense, kindness with no strings attached. Just people being good, moments being pure, and life being enough as it is. There's something rare and beautiful about things that don't need to be anything more than what they are.
I've seen comments about my past post na baka daw kaya di ganon ka intense yung questions sa Ultimate tapatan cause they are still young and may image na prinoprotektahan unlike Season 1 na adults na. Charlie Fleming exists in Season 1. A 16 year old young lady. Artista din like them. Binato ng multiple questions sabay-sabay but she dodged each question with wit and confidence. ✓ Wildcard ✓ Immature ✓ Isip bata ✓ Play safe ✓ Sumasagot kay Kuya etchhhh... She didn't cry at all while answering the intense questions. She thanked them for pointing out her mistakes and correcting them. Tapos na konsensya Yung ex housemates after HAHAHAHA. She proved everyone na she deserves her spot kahit di siya pinipili. So I don't think it's just because Bata pa or artista eme siguro. It's just the essence of house challenger seems off lang this season. Nawala lang yung excitement in my opinion 😊 Again this is my opinion lang. 😃 Pero etong si Charlie if properly trained pwedeng mag Miss Universe to. Pero siguro not now, pag iba na siguro may ari ng Miss U kasi sayang HAHAHAHAHA. Let's go to Miss Grand muna Charlie. 🫣
In a world full of noise, confusion, and mixed emotions, it’s hard to know what’s real and not. But I see my son choosing someone rare — patience, respect, and sincerity. I understand the wonderful girl he likes. I respect her space and her timing. Real feelings are not rushed, and genuine hearts are not forced. So we will wait. Not with pressure, not with expectations - but with faith, maturity, and quiet strength. We will wait — and I’m with my bRAVE every step of the way. ✨ So let’s choose love over pressure, patience over rushing, and positivity over doubt. 🫶
You don’t complain about overtime. You don’t run away from deadlines. You don’t mind being tired. What drains you is giving your all and still feeling stuck. It’s showing up every day logging in, commuting, attending meetings, hitting quotas, replying to emails at 10 PM and your life still feels the same. Same salary. Same position. Same struggles. You’re not lazy. You’re exhausted from effort that doesn’t move you forward. Because progress is hope. A small raise. A promotion. A business slowly growing. Debt slowly shrinking. Savings slowly building. We can endure pagod. But it’s hard to endure stagnation. So if you’re tired, it’s not because you hate working. You just want to see that your sacrifices are taking you somewhere. And that’s not weakness. That’s ambition wrapped in survival. Keep going but also start asking yourself: IS THIS EFFORT BUILDING MY FUTURE, OR JUST MAINTAINING MY STRUGGLE? You deserve growth, not just survival.
Adulting advice: Take yourself on dates, pumunta ka sa mga lugar na gusto mong puntahan and allow yourself to do all the things you really want to do. The days aren't coming back. He Writes for Him. All credit to the original author. Let’s talk about Alvin Aragon and how he weaponized faith and religion to push his archaic views on how people should live. Walang masama sa pagiging religious. Walang masama sa having firm convictions. But when faith starts sounding like moral superiority, doon nagkakaproblema. First, on his view on homosexuality, reducing it purely to sin without acknowledging the humanity of the person misses the point. Whether you agree or disagree theologically, we are still talking about real people. May pamilya. May feelings. May dignidad. When language leans more toward condemnation than compassion, people will push back. Hindi dahil allergic sila sa Bible, but because they do not expect scripture to be used as a tool to shame or exclude. We live in a plural society. Iba iba ang paniniwala. Iba iba ang interpretation ng scripture. When someone speaks as if his reading of faith should dictate how everyone else lives, that creates division. Faith is personal. You cannot impose your belief on others simply because you think you are right. Second, the mindset that husbands should control their wives by dictating what they should not do is outdated. Marriage today is partnership. Respect is mutual. Authority based on dominance is not leadership. It often signals insecurity. Women are not subordinates. Hindi sila project. Hindi sila property. Even our laws emphasize mutual love, respect, and fidelity between spouses. Third, as for telling women to dress or act “appropriately” so men will not lust, that shifts responsibility the wrong way. Self-control is a personal duty. Teaching women to regulate themselves to prevent male behavior sends the wrong social message. It excuses weakness instead of demanding accountability. Even our Safe Spaces Act makes it clear that harassment is about the conduct of the offender, not the clothing of the woman. Beyond theology and beyond law, may social responsibility tayo. The way we speak shapes how people treat each other. Religion, at its best, should produce humility, patience, and compassion. Kapag mas nangingibabaw ang paghusga kaysa pag unawa, may mali na. And personally, the God I believe in is kind. A God who forgives. A God who does not discriminate. A God who corrects without humiliating. Faith should make a person more gentle, not more arrogant. If belief results in less empathy and promotes hate, then maybe it is time to reflect on how that belief is being practiced.
Kairita mga taoooo
kanina may bagets na nagchat sakin sa work – nmd: hi Ms Khate, baka hindi pa po kayo nagcoffee. ililibre ko po sana kayo ng Starbucks today. ano po order nyo? ako naman na oa pero kinikilig sa chat nya* “wooooooooooooooooow! bakit mo ko ililibre?????? last day mo na ba?????? sigi pfoe barista’s drink na tall ehe wala pang sahod ah” nmd: gusto ko lang po kayo ilibre. tapos sabay may kasunod syang chat, “March 4 po yung last day ko.” kilala ko si bagets kasi ako yung nag-interview sakanya noon tapos may 3 years of experience na sya sa tax pero gusto nya daw talagang pumasok sa audit. nung iniinterview ko sya, nahirapan din talaga akong magdecide kasi hindi nya talaga masagot yung tanong ko. later on, i proceeded to endorse her for offer only because she really wanted to give it a shot while also willing to take a staff role given lack of experience. more than anything, she looked very determined to learn. lagi ko sya nakikita sa office tapos lagi lang din syang nakangiti kahit alam kong nahihirapan sya. now, she is leaving to go back to tax – and i do feel sad! but maybe i am also being reminded today that… • it is okay to take a path even when you are unsure of where it will lead • it is okay to pivot when you realize it is not quite for you and moreso – • it is okay to admit that something else actually suit you better. we do not always get it right the first time – and we are definitely allowed to change our minds later on, so long as we are doing it properly and for the right reasons. there will always be beauty in having the courage to try and just as much courage to allow ourselves to be redirected again. tysm, Nat! 🥹
it's either I’ll be like Eya Borja who travels around the world using my hard-earned money; or be like Kisses Delavin — the one who got away and chased her dreams away from the public eye; or like Erich Gonzalez who chose to leave the spotlight and live a happy married life. different paths, different versions of success. whether it’s freedom, growth, love, or peace— I just know I’ll choose the life that makes me genuinely happy. Not the loud life, not the trending life, but the right life for me.
Alvin Aragon is just the tip of the iceberg of how toxic their religion is and why many of us don't go to Church anymore. I remember this one pastor that told me before na if you feel like the Church doesn't want you, just leave. You can pray to God anywhere. You are so quick to pass judgement within the LGBTQIA+ community and lagi niyong bala sa amin about Sodom and Gomorrah but did you know in the Bible the sin wasn't really about the same-sex relationship, it was, attempted gang rape, violence, humiliation of strangers, extreme inhospitality and abuse of power. Ezekiel 16:49 says Sodom's sin was PRIDE, ARROGANCE and neglecting the poor and needy. Hindi sinabi na about same-sex love, it emphasized injustice and cruelty. And when you say na kaming mga bading mapupunta sa impyerno but the Bible clearly states; Romans 2:1-4 says: "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself... Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?" If you're going to weaponize the Bible against us dapat with full context hindi yung putol lang lagi and dapat isama niyo din sarili niyo when you use the scripture against us. To Sofia Trazona thank you for standing up and opening this to us, know that a lot of us loves you no matter what.
10 sentences that gave me chills. Just because it’s taking time doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day. Remember to live while you’re busy surviving. Just keep going, no feeling is final. You’re handling things better than you used to. What is coming is better than what is gone. Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. Good things are up ahead. Artwork is by @David.Progran And it’s reflections like this that remind me why I share these words, and why I’m grateful for the voices in this community who keep exploring growth, hope, and becoming. If this spoke to you, you’ll also find meaning in these pages that talk about healing, resilience, and moving forward:
