Maybe romantic love isn’t at the forefront of my life right now. Not because I don’t believe in it, and not because I’ve closed my heart to the possibility of it someday. But because right now, my life is asking me to grow in other ways. To learn myself more deeply. To build a life that feels whole even when I’m the only one in the room. There are days when I realize that love is already present in quiet forms. In the peace I’m slowly learning to give myself. In the dreams I’m patiently building. In the way I’m choosing healing over rushing into something just to fill the silence. Maybe this season isn’t about finding someone. Maybe it’s about becoming someone. And maybe the most honest kind of love I can give right now is the one I’m finally learning to give to myself.
