"Dear whoever reading this, I hope that next year, on the same day, you'll be having a different life: more beautiful, more fun, more successful, more peaceful, and more passionate. I hope that next year comes with all your secret prayers answered with what you've asked for or better than what you've asked for. I hope that next year you'll be living livelier and happier." - Nada Osama

When I was in my early teens, I remember watching this one episode of a tv show and the entire episode was about the main characters fear of only “peaking” once. And for some reason, that same fear stayed with me until my early 20s. I believed that there’s only 1 mountain to climb and when you reach the top, that’s it. I believed that you only peak once and everything is downhill from there. I believed that God has a limited plan for you. It’s only until recently did I start…

Happy December everyone! ❤️💛 We can still continue believing that good things are still coming our way this 2024. 🌼 Maybe the past 11 months has not been kind to you but this December, we can still hope that things will fall into place. 🤗 So much can happen in a week, what more a month!! Let’s make it count. ⭐️

ALL THE FEELS 🥹 “Your phone will always be there. But I won’t be. Paminsan-minsan titingnan mo ako… para naman ma-miss mo rin ako.” 🎬 Family Matters (MMFF 2022)

@re-joyce

Sometimes I feel like I'm slowly losing track of what I really dreamt to become. Sometimes I will find myself staring at nothingness, often times I am weary of what will happen, what should be my next move. I am really disappointed especially when I sometimes end my day feeling like I just survived and I don't know what living feels like. I miss my old self, where I don't feel the pressure of life and suffocation of the adulting phase. —Writes Yna

@re-joyce

Just like you wouldn’t let your phone run out of battery, don’t let yourself run on empty. Recharge and take care of yourself—you deserve it.

@re-joyce

I am no longer afraid to cut connections, letting go of the strings which aren't meant for me. I'm not even afraid to close some random doors, I'm not afraid to see how can possibly their backs turn and then will eventually vanish from my sight. I don't care about their opinions about me, because they aren't even relevant to my life and they don't contribute to my growth. They're just nothing but a bunch of passersby. I respect myself more than anybody else now. Something I…

My heart has been on comparison mode again lately. It feels like a never ending struggle. But this reading was a reminder for me to “watch!” (Infact, it’s so urgent it was repeated multiple times) “It is like a man traveling abroad. He leaves home and places his servants in charge, each with his own work, and orders the gatekeeper to be on the watch.” Each with his own work! Maybe this means that we all have a “personalized” calling/work that is unique to us! What if a form…

Appreciate it. Appreciate everything. Appreciate when you walk outside and the sun warms you. Appreciate it when someone smiles at you. Appreciate the people who tell you they care about you. Appreciate who you are. And lastly, appreciate that you are here for a reason.

@re-joyce

kapag nahanap muna ang tunay na good friends, wala ka ng mafefeel na kaplastikan. i’ve been there before. i even stop myself socializing and then i realize “why, for what”, i should put myself out there and enjoy my life’s journey. now i’m back socializing again and doing the things i love, hang out and go hiking, whenever i have my free time. but when i am tired, i don’t have to because i always prioritize my rest kasi pagod sa trabaho🙂👌

@re-joyce

Marahil, ramdam…

Grief is especially difficult for those with a history of self-hatred. Self-hatred doesn't prepare us for loss—it blinds us to the care we need in its aftermath. And when the person you most need kindness from is you, grief can feel unbearable. I know this because I’ve lived it. For years, I hated myself—how I looked, how I sounded, how I existed. Grief asked me to tend to my wounds, but I didn’t know how. How do you care for yourself when you’ve been your own worst enemy?…

@re-joyce

Sometimes “moving on” is the last thing we want. ⁣ Grief is a complex space to be in.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes moving on feels like betrayal; ⁣ Betrayal to all the love we held for someone who is no longer here. Betrayal to all the love that is STILL here, in our heart, with nowhere to go. ⁣ For those who have loved and lost, hearing the words “move on” can be triggering. It’s like hearing an insult and our immediate reaction may be tinged with anger. It’s just that we’ve already lost…

always grateful for all the genuine connections i have, for the unexpected friendships, endless happiness and sincerity, i am grateful for the good people around me.

People can only meet us at the depths they’ve met themselves. That’s why, when we grieve, it can all feel so very lonely. Who could ever meet us (or want to) at these sacred depths?⁣⁣ We spend the majority of our lives seeking the experience of love, joy, peace, happiness, fulfillment— So what do we do with the massive void we’re left with when we lose someone we love? ⁣⁣ Here’s a lesson Grief taught me: The deepest depths of our heart are carved from the greatest losses we…

The art of becoming. It’ll all start like you’re walking on eggshells. Too careful. Too hesitant in each step you take. But days will come, shame will wear out, and comfort will start to sit. It’s when you realize you’ve surpassed the fright you had of unfamiliarity. You’ll win hearts and lose them in one mistake. You’ll feel empty for the vacancy that was left, the spot once adored so much now only holding imprints of their ghosts and memories. But time will blur the…

I think growing up, i used to have someone to walk with. Perhaps, i am too afraid to stand on my own that i needed someone’s presence. I couldn’t even stand everyone’s gaze at that time. I had always been afraid of being seen pathetic and lonely or a wallflower, they say. So, i had always covered it up with having someone, regardless if they were good to me or not, as long as they filled up that space. And now, I realised that it’s really okay to be with just yourself. That,…

Being in your 20s is no joke. It’s like the hardest and most challenging stage of your life. You’re trying to figure out who you really are, tapos at the same time, you need to build your career, start earning, and support your family. Plus, you’re also trying to chase your dreams, which is so overwhelming, right? Tapos relationships pa—balancing friends, family, and maybe even a special someone. It feels like there’s always pressure to have everything together, pero most of…

Thank you ha for remembering me this season. Maraming salamat talaga. Merry CHRISTmas sa lahat! ❤️

Every Christmas is always the last. There came a time when it was your last Christmas with a childhood friend as either that friend or your family has moved away from the place you were born or grew up in. There came a time when it was your last Christmas with an elder relative or grandparent as they passed on, becoming just distant memories as you grew into adulthood. Then more and more people that you knew as a child started to say goodbye, in one way or another, until the…

@re-joyce

@re-joyce

This Christmas, I realized many adults are healing their inner child, which is why I don’t judge “childish” things. Whether it’s hobbies, toys, clothes, or the way they express happiness, some people didn’t get the chance to experience a real childhood until adulthood. If these things bring them comfort or healing, who are we to make fun of that? Let people find the joy they deserve in their own way.

Life never goes as planned. We set goals, make plans, and hope everything will happen right on schedule. On the dot. Just the way we imagine it to be. But more often than not, things take longer than we expect. And that's okay. It's easy to feel down when we don't reach our goals as quickly as we'd like. We get impatient. We see others moving forward, hitting milestones, and start to wonder if we're falling behind. Just because it's taking you a little longer doesn't mean…

This is your year to allow. To open your heart, your mind, and your life to the goodness waiting to flow in.⁣ ⁣ Give yourself permission to:⁣ ⁣ • Let good things find you, without feeling the need to chase or prove yourself.⁣ ⁣ • Accept joy fully, without questioning if you deserve it.⁣ ⁣ • Embrace love freely, without doubting its sincerity.⁣ ⁣ • Receive blessings wholeheartedly, without shrinking to make others comfortable.⁣ ⁣ • Welcome happiness unapologetically, without…

@re-joyce

You still have me next year— through the highs and the lows, through every twist and turn. I’ll be here, steady and sure, just as I’ve always been, and just as I always will be.

Shouldn't we commending those who work tirelessly and never give up para ma-achieve yung pinapangarap nilang buhay? I’m not a huge fan of Rosmar, pero I really appreciate yung hardwork, diskarte at persistence niya sa buhay at kung paano siya nagsimula galing sa wala. Walang forever sa…

@re-joyce

You deserve someone who has plans to marry you one day. Love isn’t a game. It’s an investment. A commitment. As a man, you should see your girl as the future mother of your kids. She could be your partner for a lifetime, your baby mama, your teammate, and your best friend all in one. I follow David Guison on Instagram, and seeing his proposal to his long-term girlfriend is inspiring. It’s a reminder that love should be taken seriously. If you can’t picture her walking down…

@re-joyce

Don't pressure yourself ha, if ever you get tired in the middle of this journey, remember to rest but never quit and don't push yourself too hard. I'm proud of you, always.

@re-joyce

We will never go back to that room that once judged the things we chose not to explain, to the circles that disrespected us repeatedly, to that one person—or perhaps more—who confused our self-worth, or to the moment we almost lost ourselves in an effort to please them. We already know the place, the face, and the feeling of being lost. If we ever encounter the same situation again, this time we will choose ourselves without any hesitation.

@re-joyce

A huge thank you to everyone who made this year special. Looking forward to more adventures with you all in 2025! ✨
