My biggest mistake in my bakery.
Those who know me here at Read.Cash know that at some point I started my own bakery from my home. Production was small: we produce between 400 and 500 loaves per week. However, this small production under good management led us to grow rapidly. Every time we had more clients and I received many congratulations from my neighbors for the good bread that has been lost in Venezuela due to the crisis.
I couldn't continue producing because the oven where I cooked the bread was borrowed. A friend of my partner had loaned them to us. She took them off and we stopped producing. But my biggest mistake has not been starting the business with a borrowed oven, no, that wasn't my worst mistake. The problem now is that I never clarified the business with my friend, we never put the terms of society on the table and now even our friendship is at risk.
At first it all started as a small friends business. However, as time went by as the business matured, the differences between us began to appear. The first difference is age: she is a 60 year old woman and I am a 26 year old young man. I really admire her spirit of not giving up in the face of adversity, her youngest daughter left the country and the eldest does not help her much. I needed an urgent money inflow. Instead, I want to start a company, create a business. This implies not making a profit during the first days. And a lot of sacrifice. She does not have the capacity for this.
The bakery demands a lot. Get up early and have plenty of energy to knead by hand. We do not have the ability to purchase a kitchen helper. We were only able to buy two extra trays (the others were on loan). At his age it is very admirable that he persists in making bread, however, it is not enough. The difference between her and me is abysmal in terms of product finish and time to make it. I am very patient with her and I understand her. But otherwise it would not be so, I am very demanding with myself and therefore with my collaborators.
The most important difference between her and me is the vision of the business. I want to grow it to very high levels. It is my dream and I am ambitious. She wants to live on it right now. And doing that here in Venezuela is complicated because small businesses do not survive hyperinflation, so it is logical to take the profits and continue investing to find a balance point where you can really take the profits.
I am determined to end society, until now only in word, but I am a loyal man and who can be trusted, I would not like to make her feel that I am betraying her or doing her any harm, but business is business. But I also have my ambitions and I do everything to go after them. Right now I find myself in a dilemma: I want to end the relationship without ending our friendship, I would not like her to feel bad about my decision, but I must also move on. Particularly, what prevents me from this is the terms of separation: we buy some things together, and I would like to buy your part to continue with the bakery once I have an oven and that she does not feel helpless. I also wouldn't want to make her feel like she wasted her time, but this is deeper. It is deeper because from the beginning it was my dream and she turned it into hers too. Now I think it could break your heart, because our business started as friends and not as partners.
To move forward, I am thinking of starting a fundraising campaign to start my bakery from my home. Already more mature and with clearer objectives. However, it has been Alizart's analysis that has given me more light on what is the real reason for this disinterest in cryptocurrencies: And is that people do not understand about money. People generally know very little about money. For a long time I wanted to make a pizza. I am a little impatient and finally I decided to make the pizza to share with the people closest to me. At first, my wish was to make real Neapolitan pizza. A real Neapolitan pizza only has the following elements: pizza dough, tomato sauce, “fior de latte” mozzarella cheese, and basil leaves. So, it looks like a very basic pizza, but no. The secret of this pizza lies in the preparation of its dough, it must be prepared with only flour, water and salt. Using sourdough and long fermentation. The recipe

400 grams of mozzarella cheese.
150 grams of bacon.
1 red bell pepper cut into julienne strips.
1 green paprika cut into julienne strips.
1 julienned onion.
**Preparation guide**
As the whole process I did alone, I started with the dough, kneading by hand. In a bowl, place the flour, place the instant yeast over the flour and stir to mix. Do the same with the salt and sugar one by one. Then, form a volcano and pour the water. Mix until you get a pasty mixture. At that time add the oil. Mix until you have a homogeneous mass and clean the bowl of all the remaining flour. Go to the table and knead until you have a smooth dough that takes off from your hands. Drizzle a little oil and place in a bowl until it doubles or triples in size. This lasts for about 2-3 hours. It depends on the temperature of the environment.
During that time, take the opportunity to make the tomato sauce. In a cauldron, grease with oil, place onion cut into quarters, tomatoes cut into quarters and without seeds. Let cook over medium heat. Stir constantly. Place the peeled garlic. Pour a jet of water looking for a thick consistency. When the tomatoes are completely waste. Remove from the heat and blend everything. Go through a strainer and pour all the sauce back into the cauldron to season to taste with oregano, basil, salt and pepper.

To bake, you don't need to have a pizza oven or a stone. In a tray with flour is enough. I even recommend making the pizza inside the tray. For home-made ovens, I recommend preheating the oven until it's hot before putting in the pizza. The oven should reach a minimum of 180 degrees Celsius for baking for 15 to 20 minutes each pizza. Pizza ovens reach 360 degrees Celsius and cook in 1 minute. During baking make sure the edges tan, even have some black or brown spots. There you will know that this list.

Usually, to write an article I think first of the title about what I want to write or about something that is turning my head. But now it is not so. I just want to describe a trance moment I went through last night.
After a short day of pizza making for my family, we sat around the table for dinner. A very pleasant dinner. I received my congratulations on the result of the pizzas. We ate only with the flashlights of two cell phones, because the electric service was suspended as usual. When I finished, only my mother, my friend and I were left in the room. At that time, I had a small but annoying toothache (I must go to the dentist, but I can't afford it yet) so I lay down on a piece of furniture while my mother and my friend were still talking in the dining room. At that moment it started to rain. A great rain, with strong winds and the night became darker and colder. However, we were safe in my friend's apartment. She only had to close the window so that the water and the cold wind did not enter.
That made me think a lot about life in general. As in a moment of calm we pass into the storm. And that while we were safe in an apartment, how many people would be distressed at the time by their situation with the rain? In mud houses or half-built as is common in Latin America? Running to protect themselves from the rain soaked or in their houses making love? How many without eating and being very cold while I was safe and freshly eaten pizza? All of these contrasts are so fascinating and terrifying because they make you wonder about life and your role in it. What are we here for? Why me, why us? Do I deserve to be like this? Am I bad or good? Is it unfair that this is so? The rain made me feel peace in my body and a storm in my mind. My tooth still hurt and at that moment I discovered my favorite sound in my mother's voice while laughing.
Yesterday I wanted it to be a special day for my family and friends. I took some of the money I have saved for the cell phone and went to buy enough ingredients to make some pizzas. I made them in the afternoon for dinner. As usual yesterday there was an interruption of the electric service in my neighborhood. The pizzas were really good, too bad it didn't have good light to take good photos. We returned home and fell asleep until the other day without ever knowing what time the electric service returned.

My first time
This is my first time. It is the first time that I try to write freely. Without thinking so much. Problems with accepting cash dollars in Venezuela. (Advance on my cell phone)
I have had a hard time with two $ 10 bills that I have changed to buy the cell phone. Continuing with the impulse received by you, and for which I am very grateful. I decided to buy 25Kg of wheat flour to resell it at retail and thus manage to raise a little more money for the cell phone. At the time of the transaction, the store where I was going to buy the wheat flour, did not allow me to use those two $ 10 bills because they did not go through a verification machine. This does not imply that the banknotes are false, the problem is that the machine also rejects “defective” banknotes, in my case I reject a banknote from the year 1999 and another one that is a little damaged by use. This would not happen with BCH, I thought at the time. I was really sad I thought I would have been scammed but a friend explained that these machines are not as effective and it is very common that they do not accept banknotes in these conditions. Surely, in another part of the world these cash would not have had a problem, but here in Venezuela there are many shops that do not accept cash just because they do not like their appearance.

Although payment in bolivars predominates, the US dollar is the reference value to set prices for products and services. Despite the fact that the Nicolás Maduro dictatorship has tried to prevent this dollarization from occurring, this process has been what has given the national economy a break. And he had no choice but to accept this fact, including having to charge the fuel in dollars.
At first, Venezuelans only exchanged bolivars for high-denomination bills in $ USD ($ 100, $ 50) but also low for people with less ability to save or purchase. Also, the $ 1 bills were not much appreciated. Of course, a $ 1 bill had its same value in bolivars, what I mean is that it did not have much demand in the exchange market. But now that the country is dollarized, many services and products are paid for in this currency and prefer the $ 1 in cash for retail trade. Nowadays, using cash dollars is common that people exchange it without problem with each other. Also, the use of bank accounts in other countries to make payments in Venezuela is common for the wealthiest. However, there are many merchants and also people who do not accept dollars in cash unless it is in perfect condition. Question that can be very relative to each person. This would not happen with BCH !!!!
I wanted to share this episode with you in the search to collect money for my cell phone because they have been an important part of achieving this goal. Also, because it is intimately related to the reason why we are here: the use and adoption of Bitcoin Cash on a planetary level, as well as a change in the global financial and economic system. Chronicle of a sale. (Advance on my cell phone, Come on !!)
Since I lost my cell phone I have been focused on getting money for a new one and with enough technology to make the most of it. The Read.Cash community has been the protagonist in this story and I know that it will end successfully. Among the things I have done to collect the money ($ 100 USD) was to sell a Canaima tablet (A Tablet that I received in my student days). I received $ 20 USD in cash for it, but the history of this sale has several characteristics that you only find in Venezuela.
I started by offering the Tablet in sales groups on Facebook. I always knew that it would not take long to sell this Tablet, because it is widely used in Venezuela due to the massive distribution that the government made. My Tablet had several problems, the volume button stuck, the USB connector is not working and the most serious is the touch screen does not work. I always offered the Tablet to repair or to be used as a spare. Nor did it give me an opportunity to erase my data within it because I had no access.
Well, as soon as I made the publication I started receiving many notifications that never materialized. Until the next day, very late at night, a boy writes to me, who in his profile says his name is Victor. He said he was very interested but he only had $ 20 USD. I was offering it for $ 25 USD. I was very clear with Victor about the state of the Tablet and he told me that it was fine, that he wanted it. However, he lives far from the city center just like me. At this point he said he would check with his partner to confirm the sale. At this time I assumed that we would not make the sale because it is common to run away from negotiations with that "I will tell you" argument. 3 days passed and he had not written to me, confirming my theory, but that same day he wrote to me very late at night. I wonder if it was still available and if we could meet the next day to do the business. Without much thought, I said yes. That we meet in the center of the city in a renowned shopping center. He said it was okay, to give him a phone number to call me, so I sent him my brother's (who lent me his cell phone to go to the appointment). That boy doesn't have a cell phone either, so I should always have waited for his call.
We both had to make short trips to get to the meeting point. In my case I was lucky, thank God. While walking towards the center of my city (about 20 or 30 minutes on foot) a friend who just filled up his fuel after 4 days at the station, saw me and took me to the bus stop that goes to the other city (where the sale would be made, at a distance of 10 to 15 minutes by car). The bus was leaving, so it didn't take me long to take it and this bus left me two blocks from the shopping center where I would meet Victor. I waited for over an hour and a half. I thought about many things, for a moment I thought that it was a joke and that I had been summoned there only so that I would go to that place, it was a possibility since I had not confirmed the identity of Victor or added him as my friend in Facebook. After a while, I was also very hungry and I can't even afford to have coffee on the street. He was desperate and Victor did not appear.
Finally, I received the call from Victor, he told me that he was already at the meeting place. I was close, for my safety I was not there. When we met, I realized that Victor is a guy with a noble personality, he likes to fix electronic devices and that's why I'm interested in my Tablet. I pay with a cash of $ 10 USD and 10 of $ 1 USD. He also told me how he got there. He had to take a bus to the city terminal and from there walk to the shopping center (that's about 30 to 45 minutes). So Victor was not lucky. On the way back to my house it was just as fast, on the bus I met a person who was waiting for him at the bus stop to take him by car to our neighborhood. I was really lucky this time and I am getting closer to the goal.
It is incredible what we Venezuelans have to go through to do things as simple as moving from one place to another or even communicate. Add to that, that we are in the midst of the COVID19 crisis and the order is to be home before 5:00 PM.

A day in cryptoland! (Continuing Cain's Photoshop contest)

My creation has been relatively quick and I have been inspired a bit by Cain's own suggestions. I call him "The Uncle BTC". This is the guy who causes problems in the family and no one sympathizes with his heaviness. It is old and slow, and is not sympathetic to updates and thinks it is worth gold! How do I change Bitcoin Cash to FIAT in Venezuela? (My experience)
I have to thank @tula_s for this question. It is interesting everything that has had to happen to be able to be here writing this article. I will immediately give you an outline of everything I do to make this change.
**Preliminary information:**
All my **BCH** addresses are backed up on my home computer and I also had them on my cell phone. I also have them in my **telegram** chat.
I use the **Bitcoin.com wallet** for Android to have all the addresses on one device, now I am using the **Electron Cash SLP** wallet to carry out the transactions. (I particularly like **bitcoin.com wallet** very much but I must wait to have a cell phone again).
Well, **the map of the platforms** I use to make this change is as follows:
BCH wallet - BCH wallet in UPHOLD - Exchange in Uphold BCH / USD - Exchange USD/Bs.S with Uphold users through groups in Telegram.
I will explain the process first and then why I do it this way.
The Process
From my Bitcoin Cash wallet I send to a Bitcoin Cash wallet associated with my UPHOLD account. UPHOLD does not charge commission for deposit, point in favor. Then, I use the internal exchange of UPHOLD (SWAP) which charges (1.4% of the amount), when I already have the amount in USD in UPHOLD, I must find a UPHOLD user who wants to make the exchange for Bolivares. I find these people in many parts, but it is very safe to do it from Telegram, in telegram groups to exchange currencies and cryptocurrencies between Venezuelans.
Why do I do it this way?
This process is due to an accumulation of experience that I have had on the internet. When I started looking for ways to generate money online, the first thing you want to know is where you will receive the money. And by then the answer was paypal, so I had to have a paypal account. But to have a paypal account you must have a USD credit card to verify and confirm the account. There are payment processors like Neteller and Payoneer that could give me that possibility, Uphold was a new player. I did not have the possibility to access neteller or payoneer. However, one day I learned that I could have a card through Uphold and the possibility of financing it with cryptocurrencies and I liked the idea because I had already used LocalBitcoin to buy BTC and try to be a trader (bad experience). But when I entered the site and tried to get the card, the service was disabled due to some restrictions that the site had. The time has given reason to cryptocurrencies and it is already possible to have a crypto-funded card (I don't know if Uphold already has the service available, but it should not be far). That was my first interaction with Uphold.
When I got my paypal account and generated money in Humanatic (Auditing calls) I had to change them to bolivars. A friend who had time on this told me to use telegram since he knew the people there and the transactions were secure. So I started using telegram. There I got to know the universe of payment processors and banks that many Venezuelans use to overcome hyperinflation: Skrill, Payoneer, Uphold, Paypal, Accounts in Panama, Zelle / Wells Fargo, Bank Of America and Cryptocurrencies.
The process of changing my BCH to FIAT is relatively quick because it takes no more than a few hours to complete, but it is not immediate. Since I send BCH to UPHOLD, it receives it and it is reflected as an amount on hold and that wait (confirmation) takes between 45 minutes to an hour or an hour and a half. Then finding a USD buyer via UPHOLD on telegram may take a little longer or be immediate, this depends on the time and day of the week. And that person must make a transfer from their bank to my Bs.S account at my bank.
So far, the process I have currently used to change BCH to FIAT. But this process **has not been the only one**. I will quickly explain one that I used until recently.
Many know that I used Steemit for a long time, so to change SBD or STEEM to BS.S I used a Venezuelan Exchange called ORINOCO, they have their STEEMIT account and the transfer was internal. So the process was very fast. The point is that many times I had other cryptocurrencies to add to the SBD and they added something more to my account in BS.S and the way I changed them to SBD was through BLOCKTRADES. A process also comfortable and easy to use. I understand that they use the STEEM Blockchain to do many of their processes. Now they use HIVE. Well, there was a time when I passed my BCHs through Blocktrades to convert them into SBD or EOS and change them into ORINOCO but this process was slower and represented a loss of value for my BCHs due to commissions and exchange rates. So I completely abandoned it.
I know that Local.Bitcoin.com exists as a P2P exchange house but the buyer rates are very low compared to the Uphold rate that the market rate uses. The ideal would be to be able to spend my BCH directly in Venezuelan stores, but few do and the rates are not favorable to the buyer. For this reason, the best option, at the moment, is to switch to FIAT. However, all this is a reflection of the financial and economic revolution that Bitcoin Cash and cryptocurrencies are capable of. Give access to the global financial system without greater intermediaries than the users themselves.

How to write a food recipe for Read.Cash? (Explanation)
To start this article, I want to thank the entire Read.Cash community and Read.Cash administrators for supporting me on my previous post. Continuing with the reason and purpose of this article, I have recently been invited by @Koush to be a moderator in the “cooking recipe” community, I am trying to do a good job on my part. As I said in the previous article, many of them are just ingredient lists and steps to follow without much explanation. Going a little further, they are also not backed by images, personal experiences, or why they are writing about that particular recipe. Also, the amount of SPAM comments on recipe articles. The amount of those comments is distressing.
These tips are based on my experience. Each user is free to take what they think is useful and what is not. However, I think there are some kind of "Common Senses" or "Basic Guidelines" for writing a decent article, both for its content and for the correct use of the Read.Cash text editor.
In the previous article, I gave an example of what I consider a good recipe article. There I spoke about three points:
**Introduction to the article and the recipe**: for this section, to show the reader what the article and recipe you have chosen is about. You can mention the qualities and elements about the recipe without delving into it so that the reader has an interesting read. This is important for the quality of the article, generating a style that keeps the reader interested.
**A dedicated section within the article has to explain what food is about and what is its origin. In addition, to recommend how it could be accompanied**: To be more specific, in your article it is recommended to tell stories about that recipe. You can say many things that are why it is important to research the recipe. You can talk about its history, its origin, anecdotes from other people or yours with that recipe. Also, you can say what foods it has, how nutritious it is, or because it has some special ingredient, with which you can accompany that dish. **Come on, you can be more creative!**
**The recipe. It explains details of your preparation**: Finally, in the example, the recipe appears. In many of the articles I have had to moderate they are just this: a list of ingredients plus a series of steps without much detail. For this part I recommend, not only to make a list of ingredients, you can also name substitute ingredients of the originals, different cooking methods for this recipe and why you have chosen that, presentation of the dish, give the necessary details to achieve a good meal.
One last thing, it is highly recommended to make proper use of the Read.Cash text editor. Put titles, subtitles, bold to highlight important words and use dots to create the ingredient list. We create quality content for this platform that offers us so much. Use images (preferably originals). It is terrible the little use of the image in these articles, in my country it is said that the food enters by sight, so do not hesitate to use images to enhance your recipe and also images to guide the preparation of the recipe step by step.
As you can see there is a lot to talk about in a cooking recipe article. My invitation is to create quality content for this platform that offers us so much. Let's be aware that a good article can attract more and better readers than a hundred plagiarized or vulgarly copied articles. Enjoy the writing process and you will see very good results.

I am in front of the computer and I don't know how to start writing this article. I will be direct from the beginning and let myself be carried away by all my feelings: I am writing this to ask for your sincere and well-intentioned support to all the friends that I have achieved in Read.Cash and the BCH community to buy a Cell phone. It may be the only article I write about this, but I should try.
Many know that I lost the oven with which I made bread to sell in my house. It was a borrowed oven and the situation in my house has been difficult in these COVID times. I am very frustrated at not being able to purchase a cell phone or almost anything on my own. It is as if it were invalid. I feel so excluded from society and especially sad when I cannot buy necessary things for my house or my mother.
So why don't I ask you for support for this, but for a cell phone? Because with the cell phone I keep my contacts to work and bring food home. Which allows me not to feel so useless in life, even if only to buy coffee for my mother.
This does not affect you at all, and you do not have to help me. However, many times we want to make the world a better one, we want to contribute to making the world a little happier or less cruel. Let me tell you that you can do it on time with someone. This is possible with BCH by the way. Doing so will help my life not be so miserable and perhaps greatly improve. A way to a BLOCKCHAIN society
**Every time blockchain has more applications and use cases. There is no doubt the potential of this technology to contribute to solving many of humanity's problems. However, the big headlines about this technology are monopolized by cryptocurrencies.**
Large economic groups are not opposed to cryptocurrencies as long as they do not represent an end to their hegemony, the creation of new elites within cryptocurrencies that only want to get rich has also been seen. Cases like the big voting whales on Steemit or the BitcoinCore developer and miner groups are already widely denounced for their greed.
But to build a healthy blockchain society, it is necessary to involve the vast majority of the population. And here cryptocurrencies play a central role, because it is about building a new economy. A new economy where the processes of production, distribution and commercialization are stored in the Blockchain and those involved obtain fair rewards for it.
In an ideal society, in which an entire country is technologically literate and the technological platform is first class, in which everyone has access to this technology. It would be easy to implement or make the necessary transition to a Blockchain society. But if we place, for example, Venezuela a country with a lot of wealth potential but third world, we see that cryptocurrencies are only seen as a reserve value to save themselves from hyperflation and not as a means of payment and blockchain technology is hardly known among the enthusiasts and developers.
For this reason, those who are interested in becoming a Blockchain society must use this technology and its resources to advance towards societies with a high technological index and contribute to the eradication of poverty. This can be achieved through financing initiatives towards education and entrepreneurship in general. Perhaps with a greater emphasis on technology. But it is necessary that this be financed purely with cryptocurrencies. In the case of startups, have as requirements to produce and incentivize the use of cryptocurrencies.
An important step would be for the primary means of production (food, raw materials) to have part of its capital in cryptocurrencies. For example, it would have been very interesting if PDVSA (One of the largest oil companies on the planet and controlled by the Venezuelan government) really received payments in cryptocurrencies (PETROS), since many large industries would have an example of what to do and what not to do. It is really difficult to know the impact that this would have had on the Venezuelan real economy and to see if the petro circulated as a means of payment.
Now imagine that new companies arise in the industrial sector with large capital obtained through cryptocurrencies and only accepting these as a means of payment. It would be a really big boost for a blockchain society. But these types of companies must have a code of ethics beyond profit. Imagine a distributed property company, where capital comes from everywhere and profits are decentralized, or perhaps reach some consensus among the "owners" and establish beneficial, altruistic uses of these profits.
Creating companies whose ownership is decentralized thanks to the blockchain, would be a way to integrate large population groups to this technology and see a new type of economy. Pay salaries in cryptocurrencies or tokens created by the same company, accept payments and pay providers with them because they have the backing of the company.
To achieve this, we have to go through great technology literacy in many countries, since it must be global. Humanity is one and we only have one planet. We can use this type of property to end poverty and enhance economic growth in disadvantaged and corruption-ridden regions.
Episode of a life in Venezuela 2019.
**I wrote these words in the year 2019, despite everything, it was a year in which I learned many new things. I leave them here as a testimony of life.**
Life in Venezuela is contradictory. It is an unpredictable, uncontrolled and not at all routine life. This has its positive and negative side. Positive because you do not get bored, there is always something new that the social and economic crisis provokes, normally they are situations that you have to overcome. As if it were a videogame where every day has a different difficulty. Negative because you must be very strong emotionally to not get depressed, not let yourself be carried away by those intense situations to which you were not used. We are forced to be very emotionally intelligent.
Personally, my life is really complicated. I work for more than 15 hours a day. 6 days a week. I only have a free day on Sundays. I am 25 years old, I am a young man who has stopped living many things of his "age" to work and bring some food to his house. There are few occasions in which I can recreate with my friends. I do not even think about a girlfriend, I do not have time to dedicate it. Even though I have two jobs I only earn $ 40 per month. That only reaches to eat with a little decency and dignity. But for nothing else: zero clothes, zero walks, nothing more.
**Working 24/7**
My friends have been kind enough to leave an outdoor walk for Sunday so I can attend. That day everyone should bring their lunch. I took white pasta with grated cheese. It's all I could carry (And water). I had a lot of fun and helped me get out of my harsh daily reality. We obtained unparalleled views of our city. And at the end we bathed in the pool that has one of my bosses on the outskirts of the city (which we walked).

Whenever I go to an event with my friends I think about what life was like before, things that used to be normal, routine, nothing out of the ordinary. Now they are a complete luxury: going to a pool, going to the movies, dining out, buying a sweet, having a beer. Very few can afford this now. And that is emotionally strong. I really think sometimes that this is a nightmare and I just want to wake up.

Broken families, rotten society
My subjects are always about food or my daily life, I have even written about cryptocurrencies. But today I have a feeling of nostalgia about my family, broken and separated by bad times. My relatives (and probably I will) have had to emigrate to find a better future. Ending many traditions of entire generations. Many Venezuelan families are going through this situation.
According to figures provided by the United Nations, more than four million Venezuelans have emigrated since 2015 and warn with concern that this figure could soon double.
Our compatriots are fleeing the economic crisis, insecurity and multiple tragedies induced by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse that ravage our homeland: corruption, dogmatism, populism and disability.
His bestial presence has unleashed an unprecedented destruction of what was once one of the most prosperous economies on the continent. In fact, between 1920 and 1980, Venezuela was the fastest growing economy on the planet and our currency, along with the Swiss Franc, the strongest in the world.
Each sword strike of these 4 spawns has been able to decapitate entire sectors of our economy as happened with the oil industry, the agriculture leaving a sequel to hunger, shortage and malnutrition, the health sector with the consequent wake of deaths and diseases, the services public leaving without electricity and without water to entire cities, education which empties schools and universities that are left without teachers, professors or students, the manufacturing sector causing the closure of thousands and thousands of industries, where prosperity was once manufactured for Venezuela.
Anyway, as luck of Genghis Khan whose hordes left nothing in their path, these Horsemen of the Apocalypse have destroyed everything, killing, stealing and looting without contemplation and deceiving a people who were led to believe they were redeemers when in reality they did not they are more than an abomination arising from the evils of hatred, resentment and lack of values.
But I do not want to insist on data or figures that, although devastating, fail to describe the magnitude of the tragedy measured on the scale that counts most: human suffering.
I refer to the suffering of those who are forced to leave everything fleeing, in precarious conditions, towards an uncertain future looking for in other lands what their land was denied.
I refer to the suffering of the parents who accompany their children to the airport without knowing if they can see them again. To broken families, spread over several countries that will fight in places where they have no roots and where it is therefore much more difficult to achieve the goals that in their own homeland would have been within their reach.
I refer to the suffering of a society that was proud of its history that had brought freedom to other neighboring nations, a society that had generously welcomed those who had been fleeing their own tragedies, but that today are often perceived as a burden for those who had once welcomed.
I refer to the suffering of some grandparents who have been orphaned by children and grandchildren and who stand up every day paralyzed without the illusion of recovering that family life that was once the reason for being in a daily struggle. To the anguish of knowing that each child is delivered to their own fate and that one's fate is trapped within a chaotic whirlwind of absurd events that must never have occurred.
I refer to frustration over achievements and lost opportunities. To the uncertainty that omnipresent fills the spaces previously occupied by hope. To the dejection that every morning overwhelms many when waking up with the sensation that everything that could have been is escaping them like salt and water between impotent hands that before were able to work with effort a future full of compensations.
The day I earned a Bitcoin (BTC) in Venezuela.
As the title says, on August 23, 2019 I earned myself a representative Bitcoin currency. Hahaha. It does not have the value of a Bitcoin. But it represents a lot for me and surely for all Cryptocurrency and Blockchain enthusiasts.
Yacambú University (Cabudare, Venezuela) presented the Conference "BlockChain, Cryptocurrencies and Disruptive Technologies", given by Dr. Benito Hamidiam (Dean Faces Univ. Carabobo), Econ. Robert Parga (Dir. School of Economics Univ. Carabobo) and Ing. Carlos Moreno (Prof. Postgraduate Faces Univ. Carabobo); which had the presence of the university authorities, administrative and teaching staff, in addition to the student community.
The event was held as a preamble to the next Diploma in Cryptocurrencies, where topics such as: Fintech, BlockChain, Smart Contracts, Cryptocurrencies, ICOs, Legal and Accounting Aspects of Cryptocurrency Trade and Mining, among others, will be studied.
At the end of the presentations there was a surprise from one of the guests, it was a contest of three questions. The first winner turned out to be me. All three prizes were a representative bitcoin currency. The contest was sponsored by a technology store in the city of Barquisimeto. The question was **What was the first Blockchain based on smart contracts?**
`As an anecdote, I can highlight that there was a blackout that occurs daily throughout the country. Luckily, the university has a power plant. However, the speaker during that time continued with the conference and the public maintained order.`
Personally, I am happy with the conference, because it was very general. The topics covered had a pedagogical approach towards the public that hardly knows that Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain exist. This type of events are more and more numerous in the country, because, the entrepreneurs who still believe in Venezuela, see the Cryptocurrency as a business opportunity and to face the extremely hard hyperinflation that devours the Venezuelan economy on a daily basis.
Although, it is only a souvenir, this award makes me dream of the idea of someday being able to have a BTC, I am an entrepreneur and despite difficult times I search daily how to earn a living and contribute to society. GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES
Recently I was able to feel deep sadness, and an enormous amount of mixed feelings thanks to an animated film produced by the great Studio Ghibili, directed by Isao Takahata, called "The Grave of the Fireflies". This film tells the story of two brothers (Seita and Setsuko) who must survive in the Japan of the Second World War.
It is hard to believe that animated films can raise awareness on a subject as delicate as war, the grave of the fireflies is not the first that has managed to touch my sensory fibers, I also remember Persepolis, an Iranian animated film with great political and social content narrated with very good humor, tragedy and suspense. However, the grave of the fireflies has the ability to depress anyone. **It is a totally recommended movie**.
7 years of War: A lost generation.
At the end of the film one of the first things that came to mind was the war in Syria. It has been bloody for its complexity and violence that also does not seem to have an end. In it more than 500 thousand people have died (graphically it is as if they were devastated with 6 Santiago Bernabeu stadiums), those who have suffered the most from this war are the children, the Syrian childhood has lost a whole generation. The Syrian conflict is a real shame for Humanity and has been a Judge for international organizations. Shame for humanity because we citizens of all regions have done nothing to demand and stop so much suffering, the planet remains indifferent to so many conflicts, we only know how to complain about our own problems and judge others for their own, this has made us led to leave the task of peace in the hands of world leaders and organizations but they are subject to the power of Money, beyond believing that the Syrian conflict is about the fight for the freedom of a people or the establishment of the Islamic regime or The fight against terrorism is evident as all the parties involved are profiting from the suffering of the Syrian people. International organizations seem like a great hall where world leaders go to blame each other while the war continues, making any attempt at peace futile.
Personally, I believe that the most effective way to achieve an end to war and all wars is by leaving indifference, we must be responsible for all lives and life on earth. To vehemently demand of those involved an absolute end and at once to the war.

I am grateful and I have assumed to be the moderator of this community and in this way to be able to contribute to Read.Cash with good articles for this section. This is a first example of how a good article on a recipe could be. This article is a translation of an original article by Steemit, which is my own.

If you have been on the road in Venezuela perhaps you have eaten a cachapa. This delicious Venezuelan dish (one of my favorites) is undoubtedly a great savior for any meal: it is good in the morning, excellent for lunch and quicker for the evening.
On this occasion I bring you one of the dishes most missed by Venezuelans: cachapa. Whether alone or accompanied, it is difficult for a Venezuelan to resist its sweet taste.

THE FOOD
Cachapa can be said to be a freshly ground yellow corn arepa. Its origin is related to the aboriginal peoples that harvested corn and was made to honor the gods, later the colony adopted the dish and began to be part of the celebrations of Saint Isidro Labrador to honor the farmers.
Cachapa is another example of versatility, since it can be accompanied basically with any other food. Its most famous accompaniment is the hand cheese from the region of the plains of Venezuela - juicy and tender - it is the perfect contrast for the sweet flavor of cachapa. THE RECIPE
For the preparation of 4-5 cachapas we will need:
**2 cups tender yellow corn kernels**
**1 teaspoon salt**
**3/2 cup sugar**
**Water or milk**
For the "mise en place" of the mixture it is necessary to have the grains ground, already ground, the sugar and salt are integrated, then it is mixed with the water or milk looking for a homogeneous and ordinary mixture as a paste. You have a preheated griddle or budare and pour the mixture into a circle with a tablespoon on the griddle. Cook on both sides and serve with hand cheese and butter.
