Letters of the Heart Volume 1
I may be speaking for most of us when I say that I always have questions when it comes to love and relationship. No matter how many years I exist, no matter how many relationships I be in, it feels like I will always be a stranger in an aspect of love. It makes me seek answers that I could not find in books or in any other publications.
Since I feel so much new when it comes to love matters, it's a little comfort to know that I have someone to ask regarding matters that I really don't have a great grasp of, such as the very vast and complex branches of love, such as the professor.
Just like myself, people ask for advice from the professor when they struggle to understand their own dilemma or their own state. A professor of Philosophy, a social expert, and above all, a lover. These are just some of the qualifications he has along with many more. "Love expert", "love guru", such things don't really exist. His advice and opinion come only from his own experiences and his own social beliefs and not from any book.
Not an elder, not a professional, he says things a true friend might say. And with that, here's to look back at the first collection of the letters the professor corresponded to.
Letter no. 1 : The One I Love or the One Who Loves Me
A letter was sent by Abigail who was in dire need of an objective opinion regarding her situation that many of us may have experienced once or twice in our lifetimes. She was torn between two guys, her current boyfriend and her former boyfriend who was also her first love. She was contemplating over who she would choose and the professor related an old song that asks the question "Are you gonna go to the one who loves you, or are you going back to the one you love?"
A real dilemma for sure and the professor's response was an interesting one.
Letter no. 2: I Like Taken Guys
Here, we have a letter from Bianca asking the professor for confirmation if she really is a b!tch, just as what her so-called friends told her. She's thinking about such a thing because it seems that all the guys she is interested in are with someone else, or even worse, it seems like to pique her interest, a guy must be in a relationship.

Letter no. 3: Toxic Love Affair
When is a relationship toxic? Does it only amount to physical violence? Or is it something more complicated as emotional dependence? Cris has been in and out of a relationship built from cheating and deception, he wonders if he is in a toxic relationship with this girl who he can't seem to run away from.
The professor takes on the letter and made quite a memorable response.

Letter no. 4: On To The Next One
Moving on is hard, and that's for anybody. We all have different ways to try and move on from a failed relationship. But when do we really know if we are ready to face the crowd again and dance to another song of life?
Denise is asked by her best friend to be his girlfriend. She's afraid that things may change between them and might not work out at all. She's also afraid that she might not be ready to face another relationship after her past relationship failed so hard.
Lost in emotions, she asked the professor for help since she was also afraid that she might have given her best friend the wrong answer.
The professor tries to dissect her fears and her answers point by point. And in the end, he gave her a simple yet satisfactory answer to her situation. You can find out more by reading on with the link below.

Letter no. 5: Finding The One
From time immemorial, the search for THE ONE has been on. It has been said that there is someone out there for every single one destined to be with them. Some people spend a whole lifetime looking for THE ONE and there are those lucky ones who found their destined partner without looking for anyone. Espie asked the most obvious question: How would you know if you found THE ONE?
An interesting question calls for an interesting answer. The professor goes on to length to discuss and help Espie to find THE ONE. He has a lot to say and he said it all making various points that will make you nod in agreement in such an unbelievable way.

This has been a recap of the first publications under the Letters of the Heart Series. If you have been following me for a while you may have read at least one of the stories revisited above.
I have decided to create new reference pages for this series to include a summary or synopsis of the letters and the correspondence. It will be more organized and a bit more descriptive so future readers could easily see which stories they would like to go to next. Also, I don't currently have any topic in mind so bear with me with this filler. :)
