Another battle won.
Greetings friends of reading, I hope you are all well. Today what I bring you is a personal account as a way of apologizing for my non-voluntary absence on your posts.
It so happens that yesterday I was at the medical control for the evaluation of my face injury, the lesions that before were in number of two are now in number of four. The older one responded very well to the treatment in the last three months but the smaller one did not want to reduce its size very much.
The doctor decided to remove it with minor surgery. The lesions on any face must be taken with caution as they bleed a lot, you may have seen how a wound on the face or scalp bleeds after a fall or blow to the scalp. After it’s cleaned you can see that the hole is three or four stitches but the blood has totally covered the body because it’s been falling for a while now.
In my case, anesthesia must be administered with a vasocontrictor to avoid this unpleasant step of bleeding, and so did my colleague. We were chatting as she placed the open field on my face and her minor surgical equipment.
In about 5 minutes or so I had my heart racing in a process called tachycardia, that is a product of the vasoconstrictor.
I tried not to give it importance but the doctor had to treat the other small lesions, which as I said at the beginning now were 4 lesions.
The vasoconstrictor kept increasing my heartbeat and in a few moments my hands were shaking like jelly.
Thankfully, all went well, the doctor removed three lesions and took the biopsy that I was to send the next day to the pathologist and so it was done.
The bad thing was that my tachycardia also gave me a headache because, besides producing peripheral vasoconstriction, lidocaine produces peripheral vasodilatation so my hands were shaking and my head started to hurt.
Needless to say that the night was very unpleasant because another of the profound effects it produces is bladder emptying, so I was all night in a single walk from my bed to the bathroom and from the bathroom to my bed.
Consequently my headache did not subside. When I woke up it was still with me. In addition to the pressure in my head and face. During the whole morning I was with discomfort in my body because of these medicines that they put in my body.
Because of this I have not been able to be in the comments or reviewing the publications of my dear commentators.
It is now afternoon hours and those strange substances are still in my body. I removed the gauze from the wounds and started my new wound healing treatment.
Now I have to wait for the next medical consultation where the stitches will be removed and my colleague will see the evolution of the wounds.
For now this is just a way of informing people because I don't feel very well to write and much less with inspiration to create because my body feels strange and heavy.
Thanks as always for your continued visit to my posts and for your comments. Also special thanks to my dear sponsors.
That's understandable to be not present here. Wishing you full recovery and that all goes well with the biopsy and the followups. Sometimes these medicines do more harm than good for while it treats one ailment, it would have a side effect to others.
