This day the topic is about parents, well I am a mother of five and with different partners, this is what wrong decisions made may life miserable about being a mother but I know being a daughter of a broken family affects my life, but honestly it is all about me.
Parents in my own term must be a tandem to love and guide there children to be a better person in this life. When I was young as five I know the feeling that my father is the only one who made me happy, just to be with him is happiest place for me. I can barely remember that being a single father for me, most of the time he is hanging around with his friends that is my playground that time with his friends house while his having a drinks I am playing and watched him until he got drunk.
Sunday is the best day for me when I was a kid because that time my father will bring me to the Baclaran church and that time there are a lot of people out there, then he will carry me in his shoulder that time he is my hero to protect me against the crowd, then he will buy me barbie and ball, while we travelled to go home I will sleep in his lap, that is the most memorable time in my life.
I wrote an article about my journey as a daughter. He is the best father for me because most of the time we were together, those time that he will do the laundry I am with him helping as a little kid, he never scold or spank me when I was a kid. All the memories about him is always beautiful. Parenting for a single father like him is the best for me and I am so happy and contented that time. Most of my childhood I remember that I got sick most of the time and he is always there to took care of me spending sleepless night to check my situation, I really can't help my self to my tears to fall down just to remember those time I have him besides me.

I grew up with out my biological mother besides me but my father gave me to his auntie because for him I will have a better life with her. Then that time my loneliness time begin. Her auntie whom I also called nanay thought me a lot of things about life that until now is in my head.

Now that I am a mother most of the things that I adopt being a mother is what my nanay amor told me but still I had a lot of mistakes in life been in a toxic relationship that brought a broken family.

Being a mother there are a lot of fears in my life but as the days go by I will just realize that I overcome those fears with the guidance of the Lord.

As the days go by being a parent I discovered a lot of thing combining with the lesson I had learned in life and applied it to my child. I discover that the most important thing for a child to learn is through by example.

After all the toxic relationship I had found a very supporting partner now with a five year old son, I had been experience the family that I dream about.
A family is important part of a community, if parents raise and guide there children to be a good person then a there is always a better place for everyone, because I believe that there is no perfect family but there is always a room for improvement to be the right parents in there children in the guidance of the Lord.
