Hello, everyone! So, as you have read the title, this article will be about my first 3 weeks experience in my OJT but more on rants hahaha.
In my first week, I can say that my job is easy. I do not feel pressure at all. But in my second week, it became a medium level haha. Gamed lang ang peg hahaha. Going back, in my 2nd week, I finished doing the content calendar for March (this is all the contents that will be posted for next month including the layouts for artworks - the one that I will send to designers). This content calendar must be approved by the brand owner on or before February 21.
Here's the story:
I submitted the content calendar to the brand owner as my mentor told me to do so. When Sir N checked it, he told me to revise some contents and layouts. So, I did. The following day, I submitted again and he approved all the contents. I’m so happy that time because my mentor commended me. Haha. Back to the approved contents, after Sir N approved it, I briefed the designers about the layouts but buuuuuutttt during that time Sir N asked me to change one content, I did and submitted it for approval. Again, it has been approved so I told the designer that the content has been changed. I thought it’s all good by then but Sir N asked me to change some contents again huhu. I mean, why did he approve all of it then change later on? Come onnn. Haha.
In the same week, I also wrote three articles posting for March as well. I haven’t submitted it because Sir N is still working on some content calendar including the brand that I’m handling.
In my 3rd week, which is this week haha I finished the 4th article and Sir N, agaaain! He asked me to change and edit some contents. This is stressing me out to be honest haha. Why naman ganon sir? Haha. I didn't have a choice so I did. It’s my work. Haha. To cut the long story short about the content calendar, it has been done today (Feb.17) including the artworks. The designer sent it to me earlier.
But yesterday, the head of designers, Sir H, asked us marketing interns and officers to make a carousel post, for March content. Another change, eh, haha. After making it, I sent it to him for approval and he approved, yey no revision haha. Sorry, I’m just happy XD. Also, yesterday they asked us to make a marketing plan and they want us to finish it by tomorrow :) wow. I mean, maybe we can finish it by then if we don’t have another task. And there is Mr. L, the brave one, a marketing intern also who asked Ms. M if it can be extended. In no time Ms. M moved the deadline to Wednesday next week. Good job, Mr. L! Hahaha.
Don’t get me wrong, okay? I love the job and the people there because they are so kind, patiently teaching us and kindly answering all of our inquiries.
Despite those stressful moments, I’m still glad because I’m learning from them and I know that I can use all of it in the future.
Yaaaay! Last day of work tomorrow haha. But I think I need to work on weekends for the marketing plan. Aigoo.
