The deck had 3 parts earlier but after latest debacle update I had to remove Pegaxy from my favorites. Who knows, some distant future may turn it back and closer to my heart again. First I want to mention there is currently special mission going on, actually two of them: *Easter 2022* and *Have Your Cake And Eat It.* Both missions end on April 30. If you want to finish Easter 2022 mission you will need Pascala card in your possesion (which I don't have) and certain stats like 300 Fans and Level 20. Rewards are limited edition instruments cards. 'Have your cake and eat it' mission is the 2nd birthday celebration of Raising Star game (so young) and this one is pretty good since reward is a Cake card which acts as energy boost but it needs only 12 hours to refill (if I got that correctly). However you need 30.000 Starbits tokens to participate and finish the mission and I don't want to do that. I got few days ago Pizza Box to store pizza energy slices and it cost me 7.500 Starbits. I also spent all my stored tokens on two new cards. It took me only a month to reach 300 Fans and I did that by buying a lot of cheap cars cards. My next goal in Raising star is have 1200 Fans as fast as possible. Here is why. With 300 Fans I can do most rewarding Home Town mission Saturday Headline and with my current Ego of 12% I can get between 350 and 1246 Starbits tokens per mission. Since the energy refills 3 times a day (without pizza) I can earn in average 2.500 Starbits per day and that's $0.75 per day passive. However with 1200 Fans I can do Local Mini Tour Support mission in Local Gig Circuit section where earnings are between 750 and 2650 tokens. That's in average 1.700 times 3 equals 5.000 Starbits or $1.5 per day. Passive. Not bad at all. I got to mention Ego plays the role, lower Ego bigger reward and the requirement for Local Mini Tour Support mission is Level 55 and I'm on Level 32 right now. But I think I'll get there just in time when my Fans are collected. That's why I bought two new rare cards RI70 KEV and RI86 IVAN. Together they cost me just below 14.000 Starbits or $4.2 Card are similar in stats 125 Fans, 100 Skills and 3 Luck. That makes my current total 550 Fans, 20 Luck and 855 Skills. I need more Skills. So I'm really happy with this addition. I think it's important to reinvest early in the game as much as possible to advance faster. That's all for now. Thanks for reading! If you look at the stats page you can see first users are registered just two years ago. However even though number of registered users grows, number of active users is not growing too much. There are only about 5000 active users here on Read, as stats graph shows. I really don't have a clue why because in my opinion Noise and Read are among the best blog to earn opportunities out there right now. You can't fail here. If you are constant in your writing efforts, if you are engaged with community by reading other people, commenting, etc you are on the right track to earn money. And these are not pennies I'm talking about. I'm fairly new here still and I have just 30 posts written (this one is number 31) so my earnings are not that high but I manage to earn about $2 per post in average. And I have only 20 subs! But there are people on the platform with 1, 2 or 3 subs writing almost daily and some of them earn $10-$15 for every single post on regular basis. That's $300-$500 per month which is very good for the most parts of the world. I would like to see many more users here to increase diversity in content, topics and experiences. There are many opportunities here and huge reservoir of blogging niches not even touched yet. One thing is for sure, I'll stay here for long because it really feels like home for me as a content creator. Most of my articles here are about blockchain games I play Pegaxy, Alien Worlds, Splinterlands, Raising Star. There are few other posts about my crypto experience and even less about smartBCH. All those changes introduced to #pegaxy like burning mechanism, pacers race reward dump didn't have any initial effect on VIS (Vigorus) game token price. I bet they expected at least some price benefit right away. Still floor price stays above certain level and that should be considered to be success (at least for devs) since before that VIS price was dumping at 40% rate per week, which is insane. If they don't lower reward for higher classes they are doomed. I think they will, this high rewards right now are only bait for investors to upgrade their pegasis. My first ever Splinterlands Season Rewards **_ Episode 30 _** *April 2022* This is my post number 30 on Read.cash so it's a little celebration for me. Made it this far and I'm happy about it. I joined 10 months ago but actually most of my posts are posted last month when I become more active. I think 20 out of all 30 posts are written in the last month. Until now majority of my articles are about play2earn games, that's my main focus right now in crypto world, but I have plans to expand my writing topics beyond this narrow niche but still mainly related to crypto. Right now I'm playing several play2earn crypto games: Pegaxy (I'm not quite sure I'll continue with it because of the last changes and lack of chance to return my investment), Raising Star (my favorite so far because it's free2play and because of great community), Alien Worlds (started recently and moving very slowly but ok for now), Splinterlands and Dungeon Master. I've started with Splinterlands very recently and this is my first post about it. I didn't play much last Season, maybe some 20-30 battles, just to get to know the rules of the game but still enough to advance to Bronze III League and win my first Season Rewards. What I got is 5 items: 2 times 5 credits, 1 legendary potion charge, 1 alchemy potion charge and one card. I was little confused because I didn't understand the rules properly, I thought I will get 5 card as a reward, so I was a little disappointed noob when that didn't happen, off course. I think those credits aren't worth much and potions I don't have a clue what is their purpose. Still I'm excited I got my first card. It's a rare dragon unit - Twilight Basilisk. You can see the stats on the image. This cutie has Reach ability (Melee attack Monsters with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team) which is good I guess. Card estimated value is $0.07 and power is 20. I opened rewards just today so I didn't used this card yet. A lot to learn and a lot to play ahead so in general I like this game so far. I read only few posts by others about Splinterlands so far because the gameplay was strange to me but now I have basic understanding of it and I plan to read about it everything I can and my available time allows me. My pega hasn't win for 20 races. It's a pacer off course. Image below shows earnings history last 10 days. There were days with over 400 VIS won (~$2), now I don't expect more than $0.40 per day. I feel like those are the last VIS won ever. #pegaxy #play2earn #gamefi #noisecash

What an devaluation - you can buy pega in #pegaxy for $15 only! But if you buy pacer you will need 45-60 days to ROI. VIS doesn't pump yet and it doesn't shows sign of it. One disaster after another. Pegaxy players are furious and dropping the game _ **Episode 29** _ *April 2022* If you are not familiar with Pegaxy, it's a virtual pegasi racing blockchain game on Polygon which started few months ago. In this game you can rent or buy pega, winged futuristic creature in the form of NFT and race it against other competitors to win rewards in VIS (Vigorus) token. I have joined this recently out of curiosity and a chance to earn some crypto. At first I was only renting the pegasi for racing. In the game, you can rent for profit share or pay rent fee and take all the rewards for a certain period of time, usually one day. Pegasi owners rent for 5% or mostly 10% profit share, which is very low and time waster and Guild owners can rent for 20%, 30% or even 50%. Bought my own pega as an investment 3 weeks ago and I was ok with it as I calculated that I will return my investment and start making a profit in about one month. But things change very fast and there were several game updates since then. First they changed number of tracks from 12 to 15 in every race, which means lower winning chance. This translates to longer ROI time, but not much, instead of 30 days I'll have to race it for 45 days or so. But latest update changed too many things to fast. Let's see what happened and why players are furious. **Pega fusing** New Pegaxy update allows you to fuse two pega horses and get new one with higher rarity. It's like breeding but the love is so intense both lovers die during the process :) So if you fuse 2 pacers you get rare pega, if you fuse two rare you get an epic pega and if you fuse 2 epic ones you get a legendary pega. And costs for fusing are ridiculously high. For pacers it's wooping 12,000 Vis tokens or, at current rate, it's $70. Amazing. These guys are so profit hungry it's insane. But this is not what made the players go crazy, it's the new prize pool. New prize pool The new prize pool has actually 4 classes and if you are pacer owner, like the most small investors are - you are dead. Previously prize pool of 175 VIS per race is reduced to only 45. That's 4 times smaller reward. Even if you manage to fuse your pacers by paying insane fee and you get a rare pega, you are still in the lower price pool than before! You will get half the reward. This is bad on some many levels that it's not wonder people reacting on Discord and everywhere like they are, raging and dropping the game. And the ones who are not are guild owners or optimistic noobs hoping VIS will pump 10x so they can make a profit. Maybe Pegaxy should be banned. Here is why. First let's see what is a Pegaxy? Is it a game, investment or gamble? Here is one definition of what computer game is: A game is a rule-based formal system with a variable and quantifiable outcome, where different outcomes are assigned different values, the player exerts effort in order to influence the outcome, the player feels attached to the outcome, and the consequences of the activity are optional and negotiable. So according to this definition Pegaxy is not a game at all. In order to be the game *the player* needs to *exerts effort in order to influence the outcome,* which is not yet the case here, even though devs are constantly bombarding us with promises that it will be soon skill based game. Now let's see another definition, the difference between investment and gamble: In an investment, you are providing some individual or entity with funds to be put to work growing a business, starting new projects, or maintaining day-to-day revenue generation. Investments, while they can be risky, have a positive expected return. Gambles, on the other hand, are based on chance and not putting money to work. Gambles are highly risky and also have a negative expected return in most cases (e.g., at a casino). So does buying a pega *have a positive expected return*? or with all the crazy updates they make, VIS price falling, hiding stat variables and roadmap is Pegaxy *based on chance and not putting money to work.* So what is Pegaxy: a game, investment or gamble?
