This article is inspired by @Marvinskie 's article The Most Embarrassing Moment of My Life.
We've all had the most embarrassing moments of our lives that when you think of them, you just couldn't share it with the world, except with your closest friends, of course.
The good news is, the once most embarrassing moments in your life could also be a good source of laughter today, so if you happen to have something to share, don't hesitate to open up with us.
Anyway, allow me to share with you some of the most embarrassing moments that are now one of the funniest ever. I had shared some with my closest friends, and they would laugh and make fun of me for days because of the things I told them about.
Now, let me share it here with you, and hopefully, you could also share some of yours here or write a full article about your own experience too. Okay, no more talking, and let's dive into the main topic.
What is that?
This is the question that I will never forget in my entire existence. I was in Grade 1 when I felt like I needed to go to the toilet.
I could have just told the teacher and do my business in our classroom's CR but for some reason, I just pretended I'm really not feeling well and had to take a good rest.
I asked my childhood best friend if she could tell the teacher that I'm not feeling, so she did. She immediately called my teacher's attention. The teacher looked at me and was convinced that I needed to go home, so she instructed my friend to accompany me, as well as my brother, who happened to be my classmate too.
Yes, my brother, who's only a year older than me, had been my classmate from elementary to high school. He went to grade 1 first when I was in kindergarten, but my mom made him go back to grade 1 twice so he could be my guide in school.
My brother took my backpack and we said our goodbyes and left. We took the shortcut (though it doesn't seem to be a shortcut) or the quiet place way because we weren't allowed to walk on the main road at that time. This shortcut was like a semi-forest like where there was nothing but trees, grass, and just nature everywhere.
So we took the shortcut because it was the safest route for the kids, and we know the place well because that's where we played a lot. We were just talking while heading home when suddenly, my tummy could no longer hold my emotions (LOL).
Out of nowhere, 3 high school guys came in and stopped to ask us where we going. My friend answered that we were on our way home coz I was not feeling well. And just before they left, the bomb has been planted and one of the high school guys saw it.
"What is that?", he asked while trying not to laugh.
Then the rest looked at where he pointed his finger and saw the bomb. The other high schoolers started to laugh that I was too embarrassed so I just looked down as I couldn't face them out of embarrassment.
Then they decided to leave us as they were heading to school and us heading home.
What language are you using?
My college classmates and I were heading to a computer shop to do our research for our first assignment. I can't remember what subject it was for, but all I know is that we needed to research the history of computers.
Then another group of college students from a different school came in and sat next to us. One of the guys looked at my classmate as she was busy researching the said topic.
Out of curiosity, I guess, he then asked me, "what language are you using?"
I had no idea what he meant so I replied, "English". He smiled after and again, I was so clueless why until we get back to our school. That was the time I realized that he was probably asking about the computer language. Lol.
Kuya, where's my change?
As I get older, I noticed that I'm starting to have mild amnesia. Lol. I forget things easily no matter how much I tried not to forget them.
One time, I was heading home and was taking a jeep at that time. While we were on the way home, I decided to take my 10-peso coin and pay my fare right away so the driver could give me my change. He did return the change.
After a few minutes, I was suddenly confused about whether or not the driver already gave the change. I tried to recall my last 10 minutes but nothing came up. So I asked the driver, "Kuya, where's my change?"
Kuya, by the way, is a polite way we, Filipino, used to address a stranger older than us, regardless of the status in life.
He then looked at me with disbelief and told me that I already got the change. Then the rest of the passengers were looking at me, and I just apologized to the driver.
I felt embarrassed because they might think of me as a scammer.
Closing thoughts
So these are just a few of my embarrassing moments. Now, I don't find them embarrassing as they are more funny to me.
Now, if you feel like there's something you want to share, don't forget to comment on your experience below.
@emily2u here. Haha. I had many, but at the time of writing, these were the only ones I remembered.
