Meet My First Baby Pega
I have always wanted a Virgin Pega. Virgin Pegas is perfect for breeding because the fees won't cost you a lot during your first and second breed. In fact, this was @Eybyoung's and I's first plan before. We wanted to breed, have more horses, and have them rented to our family and friends; however, due to its price at that time, we decided not to pursue our plan.
Several weeks after we got our first Pega, which I bought mine at $730, the price of VIS went down and dipper. A lot were panic selling but not us from Club1BCH. Yes, some of the club members have their own Pegas now and most of us are still holding on until now with the VIS that we failed to sell back then.
So when we saw that the price floor for Virgin Pegas was below $600, some of us decided to buy another one for breeding purposes. Eybyoung was skeptical to buy at that time but glad @MegaKyodaiBanrai was as determined as me. We planned to get an opposite gender, so we could breed it after the cooldown. This time, I bought mine for $515, way cheaper than the previous one. Mega bought a male Pega while I bought a female. Before the cooldown, we already planned what to do after. We planned to breed twice so we can have 1 baby Pega each. Unfortunately, when the cooldown ends, Mega wasn't so ready to breed yet. He was still waiting to reach a certain amount of VIS before he could breed his.
Meanwhile, Eyb finally decided to purchase another one. I was super happy when she told me she bought a male horse. So I asked her if she bought 2 and when she said just one, I immediately proposed her breed her male to mine. She then agreed and after the cooldown, we bred our Pegas right away.
The first baby, as requested by Eyb, was hers. She intended to rent it to her sibling as her way to support them. I agreed, of course, because I can breed the Pegas again after 24 hours, and I wasn't even in a hurry. We were supposed to share the fees, but then I made a few suggestions. In the end, we decided that she would be the one to pay the fees since she would have the baby Pega, anyway. On the second breed, she would send me 2k VIS since the fees would be higher than the first. Overall, we shared 6k VIS each for 2 breedings and spent 30 PGX each as well.
And now, I am so excited to share with you my first Baby Pega and the third Pega that I own. I named her bmjc98 | Club1BCH because I just like my username and, of course, I'm a proud member of Club1BCH.
Unfortunately, the stat isn't so impressive compared to its parents. Everything is below 5, except for its strength and water. Even so, I'm still not going to sell it. In fact, I plan to breed her again. This time, I'm going for a Zan bloodline and not a Hoz. I'm after the cooldown now since Hoz takes 4 days to breed both the Parents and the Newborn while Zan only takes 24 hours. The only thing that concerns me is that you barely see people listing their Zans for breeding and, if there is, it will surely cost quite a bit.
Closing thoughts
I want to breed more. Maybe get 2 more baby Pegas and keep them for racing. Imagine if I have 5 own Pegas, I can rent some to my friends. I have a friend and a neighbor who need extra income, and I believe with Pegaxy, they can at least earn some extra for their needs.
I can also secure more VIS and who knows, the next ATH will come. For now, I just want to breed while the fees are still cheap. Breed and race and, one day, sell some of my Virgins for a good price.
