This dragonfly was found holding so tight on this plant's branch yesterday. I always have a hard time capturing one because it kept on flying and does not want anyone to come close to it. Went to the rice fields and saw that these rice are now turning into gold which means soon they are ready for harvest! I remember when we were young, me and my siblings used to fetch our parents after classes and joined them at the field. We I am excited to taste freshly harvested rice. Even if the viand is just simple blanched okra or fried eggplant with fried fish it will be a great meal already. What's your field story?🙂

I went to the field again this morning hoping to capture spider webs with water droplets but found none. As I kept hunting and clicking whatever attracts my attention, I saw these tiny droplets hanging on the rice leaf and there's a bonus; a hiding spider. Went to the field with the kids to check how the rice field after the typhoon Maring I was expecting to see them drenched and bowed down But lo and behold; they are standing so straight and might as if no strong wind just passed by! What a great view at the field earlier!! The sun shining brightly that I could hardly focus my camera on it. I tried to hide from the rice but they're too small. After few minutes, the kids were already calling me and it's time to go home. The rice are starting to turn into gold which means harvest time is coming so soon! Went to the beach to witness sunset when I saw this dog with a pail beside him. Then I noticed that it's our neighbor's dog who were along the beach casting their nets hoping to catch some fish. Woaah, the day went so fast!! I spent almost the whole day with the kids, watching and playing with them. The only break I had was when we had a nap. The night is getting colder and colder as Christmas time is approaching Longer night, shorter day Which is why my daughter always complain when at 9pm we are still answering her modules She would say, why do we always have overtime? A very peaceful golden hour My nephew again nagged as early as 5pm And he has been crying and didn't want to let go of my hands and so I gave in There were a lot of plastic wrappers along the shore and so I picked some and will continue again tomorrow. The rice already turned gold And so it's harvest time!!! We have a very very hot weather And these reaper are good help for these farmers Faster and cheaper They don't need to hire more workers. They said price per kilo of newly harvested rice is 12 pesos The farmers would want to have it higher so they could profit more. Hello Sunday!

Harvesting done! Tomorrow and the coming days, farmers will be busy with 'rice exposure'. After how many days, these rice will be ready for queueing in the nearby rice mill. According to one of our neighbors, queue in the rice mills are already long these past few days since the harvesting started. How I wish I too have a farm! I only have farm in Plant vs Undead🙃

I took this shot the other day, I was trying to capture the sun rays through that tiny water droplet hanging in the web. My idea did not turn out well and it looks blurry, but I still like it and I think it is still worth sharing. Life is not perfect and so are we. Monday started with 2 tragic incidents here in our place. 1st, a car accident wherein the car driver said he tried to avoid my distant grandfather who was crossing the street. No one was hurt, but the car's front bumped into a concrete barrier. 2nd, was super tragic because a husband killed his wife because of jealousy. He stabbed her 6 times with a huge knife. Finallyyyyyy!!! Went to the beach to watch the sun as it sets. A neighbor invited us for the blessing of their boat. There are a lot of people at beach; some were swimming, others were just hanging around with their friends and some were picking seaweeds and rubbish along the shore. It's so refreshing to be here again and the kids enjoyed it as much as I do.

Aside from the serene view, the seaweeds, sea shells and the people roaming around as if no covid at all, there were still plastic wrappers around. You cannot help but pick as many as you can and throw them to the proper bins. But my time was limited as the kids kept on calling me because they want to play with me.
