Being Successful Without Discipline, Is Like Waiting For Rain In The Desert

If I ask those who want to be successful to put up their hands, am sure everyone will. Nobody wants to be unsuccessful or struggling in any sphere of life. We always want to be at the zenith of everything we are involved, but how well are you able to countdown or lay off distractions on your way to success is what determines your level of success.

Be it in marriage, parenting or business, it takes a lot of discipline to become succeed. Nobody ever slept and work up rich, or slept and woke up in a peaceful home with obedient kids. We have to work towards getting this goal and it requires our sacrifices.

A man who is not disciplined will not excel in his affairs, be it relationship or business.

What Is Discipline ?

In a simple term, it is the act of being willing to observe and obey set down rules and principles. It is often said, a man who doesn't have set down rules is like a kite flying in the direction of the wind. When you are not disciplined, you tend to make bad decisions and even expensive mistakes. Being successful entails you achieving set down goals and being satisfied with the outcome. An unsuccessful man is never at rest with his/her own self.

A disciplined person is bound to succeed regardless of the hurdles and challenges around them. Let's take for instance, a user on this platform who is determined to succeed, the first few months, the person ends large and so happy with the rewards . But currently, the market is bad, and so earnings are not that much again, it takes a disciplined person to keep on making meaningful articles despite not being t!pped. Knowing fully well the condition of the market and still forge ahead. That's in the aspect of freelancing.

A business without discipline may not exceed the first few months of its creation. Let's assume, I make cakes, and sell them to people. I know it isn't wrong for me to have a taste of them, but when it becomes wrong is, when I mismanage my profit. Have seen a business owner , who spends her profits on shoes, clothes and jewelries without thinking of how to expand her business, she felt the business will always survived, although it did for a matter of few months, but crashed and at the end, she ended up selling most of her expensive belongings just to save her business, but it was too late. That's always the outcome of not being disciplined, when you feel, everyday will always be rosy and fail to save for the future. Remember it takes discipline to save, so a person without thexpensive trait, is bound to make blunders.

A home without discipline is a failed one, yes! I said it, not taking care of your home, setting down principles each and everyone in the family should follow will only bring calamity on the home. There is no happy, successful or peaceful home without rules. A disciplined home is a successful home. Having curfew, setting boundaries and limits are examples of disciplinary measures, we could employ to make our home a happy one..

Conclusion

Never expect success when you are not willing to sacrifice, being disciplined will stripped us off a lot of luxuries, enjoyments and comfortability, but at the end it pays.
