It doesn't come easy to everyone, some people are seeing life more hotter and harder than we are, in fact some people pray to have at least like you. To them having what you have would be a breakthrough, you and I on the other hand don't really appreciate our present state, we pray for higher, no one should appreciate their current state, not even the wealthy men, they still aim for higher. Contentment is a needed tool, it doesn't mean we won't yearn for more, it just means that the quest for more won't consume us into doing crazy things. Everyone prays and work for better, but how do we wait.
The waiting time is the real test time, indeed is not just the question of did you wait, its more beacon on "how did you wait", when the going gets tough, how did you wait. Was the frustration so overwhelming that you made life unbearable for yourself or those around you. Were you so angry that you did so much wrong while waiting. There is a time for everything, no one gets to the top so quick, maybe those born with a silver spoon were lucky to have their finances settled, but hey the struggle is not all about money, there is career, love, family, all this we must work to get better results.
While waiting we really want to wait with the right attitude. Yes, everyone is applauded for waiting and would likely proceed to the next level, of course they all waited, but there is something special for those who waited right, who endured the process keeping their eyes fixed on the goal till it came through. For example, this is common with new business start up, from the onset its almost frustrating when we are not seeing the results we envisioned. Our minds are fund of doubling our profit, when we are thinking of how the business would be making sales before we officially started, we got excited, but when we actually start, its a different ball game, however we must wait, not just wait, wait well.
Have you been promised something and you have high expectations already, not necessarily promised money by a friend or family, you could also be promise a good deal, or a job, or waiting, waiting to get engaged, married, pregnant, and you are already anticipating, now its taking longer, you're praying about it and wishing it really comes to reality, still smile, smile knowing its going to happen. You are aware you have to remain positive to the end, believing, all would be well, but its not really sounding easy, yet no choice but to be patient, just be patient in full believe, its all going to be alright. Its all going to be fine. All things would work out for my Good.
Smiling in the midst of that trying time is a good tool to learn. Its sends the right message to your emotions, our mind reads this and accept it and instantly creates peace from within. The monks practice this as a religion, they try to relax, and send a positive seed to nature believing that nature would reciprocate and give them good news as a result for their expressed faith. Smile when you just hit your leg on a stop, yes start with that, well I know you probably think I'm joking but I'm not, I'm very serious, learn to smoke when you suddenly hit your leg on a stone and it hurts so bad. I'll tell you why.
Here's why, firstly it depicts all we need to explain about life and its unforseen circumstances. If we knew we wouldn't kick our legs on stone, I doubt anyone would knowingly do that to hurt his or herself. Similarly no one would knowingly fail, or make business go bad, or fail to receive a promise well anticipated, and so on, no one really wants to feel bad, but most times they just happen along life, same way we kick our legs on stone, so if we can learn to smile in the heat of the pain, then that absorbent we learnt would help us react to that sharp pain of frustration from life's troubles.
Like I always say life would always continue, be you happy or sad, time wouldn't wait till you're ready to start ticking again. So while we are feeling bad, we can try to feel good too, cos life would continue. Relax and act with the right attitude. Of course bring God into it and it would be more secured and guaranteed. Its not just enough to wait, its more bent on we waiting well, with the right attitude and mindset, the best approaches to this is to learn to smile at trying times too, not only when things are rosy or someone is being funny, smile in times too when you're hooked and not knowing what to do next.
Smiling is not a solution, it wouldn't supernaturally resolve the problem as soon as you smile. But yet smile though cause its better than frowning and crying. Smiling puts us in control. Someone once said smiling in trials confuses the enemies and that is totally right. If you smile or you cry it wouldn't bring a solution asap, but smiling has more benefits as already discussed here. Smile now, smile later, smile always. We all should learn to smile in trail times. It puts on in charge of the situation. Always with a smile.
