There is a place on Old Mountain in southeastern Serbia where a mountain river flows over blood-red rocks, creating one of the most beautiful scenes this mountain has to offer. Draganov Vir, also known as Arbinjski waterfall, is another beautiful location on Stara Planina in the Arbinja zone. In fact, the waterfall is called Arbinjski vodopad or waterfall, while the area below the waterfall is called Draganov vir. For the weekend I was almost completely off the grid. I visited the Djerdap gorge, one of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of the Danube. I climbed two (smaller) peaks, visited one lookout point and tried to descend one technically complicated path to another lookout point which is currently only accessible from the water. Last night I brightened up my evening with one of my favorite beers. Again, this is a local beer from the excellent Dogma brewery. This time, in accordance with the meat meal, I chose their perfect stout - Black Cow (Serbian: Crna Krava). This almost classic stout brew has a strong note of coffee and chocolate, but it is refined and slightly softened by the aroma of milk flavor. The Gardos Tower or Millennium Tower is one of the four towers built by Hungary at the end of the 19th century on the four most remote points of the kingdom. Fruška Gora, one of the few mountains in the plain of Vojvodina, hides many beautiful corners, and one of them is the Ledinacko Lake. Last night's gathering with friends was completed by a local beer. Since I am a big fan of stout beer, I tried one local craft brewery Salto. Excellent mild stout with milky-brown notes and, if I'm not mistaken, quite clear hazelnut aroma. This weekend is the traditional opening of the cycling season. Not that I have a date planned, simply the weather in my country is such that the first days for cycling outdoor usually come in February. Yesterday and today I explored my local trails in nearby forest. Since we had a slightly harsher winter with more snow than usual, there are a lot of logs and fallen trees in the trail. The Djerdap roadway is a road that passes along the coast of Danube along the entire length of the Djerdap gorge. It was built in the 80s of the 20th century and with a length of 118 kilometers it passes the entire length through the beautiful national park around the Iron Gate of the Danube.
