The Screech!! - Part 1!!

Renee came back from college late that day. She started to spend more and more after school time in school itself. Her Mother walked in and asked her "late again?".. She replied, "Ma... not today, I'm very tired from all the Aptitude practice. Leave me alone please".. Her mother smiled and went down promising her to bring some food and snacks to eat. Renee is a brilliant student, especially in Mathematics. Her professor noticed how smart she is and asked her to join the after school aptitude classes so that he can train her for the upcoming inter-school Mathematics competition. Reene was uninterested at the start, but two of her friends Seth and Laura persuaded her.

Seth is the captain of the football team of the school and Laura is the student of the vice-principal. Renee is from a well known family in that community. All of them are rich and doing well in lives without major issues and even though they are the most popular in their school, all three of them are very kind, humble and friendly. They never bullied anyone and even did not allow anyone to bully their juniors. There is just college bully with his gang called Rony, with his 4 friends, who always tease and bully others...Seth in fact went out to the extent he formed an anti-bullying squad in the school that helps people with reporting bullying and protecting them against Rony's gang. The whole school including the teachers adored this three friends and their parents couldn't be anymore proud..

Rony tried so many times in so many ways to bully students at school, nothing worked in his favor because of the strong bond the students have with Renee's gang. Rony plotted a revenge and spread the same news across the school that he would take revenge on the Renee's gang and the news spread like wildfire.. Seth got angry at this and wanted to confront Rony but Laura stopped him saying "we shall catch them red handed, thus putting an end to all of it".. the actual rumor was Rony decided to sneak into the school at night, break into the teacher's rooms and leak all the question papers into the group he created of everyone who wanted to make it in easy. And Seth group wanted to bust him in fron tof the principal by recording everything in his cam..

On that said day, After school, everyone left for their houses silently as they all know secretly what was about to happen. Seth, Renee and Laura hid inside the toilets at the far end of the school where nobody access them quiet well so that they will go unnoticed. They brought some snacks and Seth installed pro cameras across the hallway that takes them to the teacher's lounge and they all stayed in a room watching the happenings in a laptop in live.. It was past 10 pm and then 11 and then midnight passed, nothing really happened..Nobody sneaked in.. and it was getting close to 2 am and Laura was fed up with it and wanted to go to house and sleep as the next day is weekend.. Everyone agreed and they started to pack all their stuff..

The water bottles, rest of the snacks, and extra clothes went inside a back pack and Laura said she will go use a toilet before leaving the building as she walked inside one and started using it. Seth looked a minute in the camera live footage and as nothing is happening around them, he started to unplug the system. He held the mouse button and was about to click the "unconnect" to the cameras while both Seth and Renee heard a loud screech across the hall.. The noise sounded like that of a mix of some owl plus wolf and some kind of velociraptor all mix together...The hearts of both Seth and Renee stopped to beat as they heard another loud screech from the hallway but this time, it was closer and much audible which suggested that whatever creature it was, it was approaching them quick...

Both Sam and Renee quickly looked at the live footage of the hallway but there is nothing there.. The hall is empty, not a bird or cricket or nothing around to make any noise.. everything went very silent for few minutes and the silence after that awful creature's sound is deafening and scaring both the kids. Renee moved close to Seth and held his hand.. Silence...just awful silence.. A darkness filled school with nothing but extreme silence around them.

"Reneeee!!!!....help meeeee!!! both Seth and Renee heard Laura screaming from the toilets and they both hugged each other crying "Laura...where are you?" quickly followed by Laura's cries for helps as they both heard that creature devouring Laura as it made disgusting sounds of bones crackling, gushing of the blood and Laura's cries became silent....

Seth and Renee took some time and stopped crying and looked at the footage, again, the hallway is empty.. and there is no new noise again as the school went into total silence once again. Seth and Renee both silently walked towards the toilets and in the middle aisle, they saw Laura's clothes surrounded by awful amount of blood with flesh lying around.. Laura's head was missing meaning, the creature ate her without leaving a trace and nothing was left behind except her remains and some bones...Renee fell on the floor while crying and Seth stood staring at the remains in a shock.

Seth told Renee that they must leave immediately and to leave everything behind and run towards the back gate while something in the window caught his attention...

Seth looked at the window and on the building quiet opposite to where they are standing, Crawling on the 5th floor and reaching for the windows, they both noticed a dark asymmetrical humanoid kind of creature slowly on the wall and stopped for a moment, looking back at them, smirking........

They both shivered head to toe as they noticed the creature slowly entering inside the building holding Laura's head and stood near the window as it licked the blood dripping from the head and not breaking the eye contact with the both of them ...
