If You Have To Eat One Thing For The Rest Of Your Life!! - A New Prompt!!
Good evening everyone.. So today I have decided to start a new and fun PROMPT on Read cash.. By the title itself, You guys would have understood the question and what do you need to write about..
The prompt is:
If you have to eat only one food dish for the rest of your life, what would you eat?? Write all your prompts using the hashtag #Iwouldeat and also include "I Would Eat" in your topics so that we all can read this prompt posts in one place... I cannot wait to read your answers because I'm a massive foodie and I believe all the posts would be drool worthy.. Add pics if possible and write what you like about it, it's varieties and why you are obsessed with it..
Coming to my own answer:
Ever since I was a child, I was not a picky eater or a tough child at all. According to me, my mother is one of the best chefs out there and I was really blessed with her making delicious dishes for us. We never had to buy anything from outside, she is master in satisfying all our foods in home itself. So, as a person who eats anything and everything in vegetarian, it is very tough for me to select one particular food item to mention here.. But I do have top picks though... I'm not gonna include my Mom's hand made food because I cannot pick from them, whatsoever.. everything she makes is perfect.. ahh bless her hands...
So my favorite food that I would be okay even if I have to eat for the rest of my life should be from take out foods that I order.. and that is... DRUM ROLL!!!... BIRYANI you guys!!!!!!
I absolutely love Vegetable Biryani and the way it fills up it's smell inside and outside the house completely while cooking itself is ridiculous... that taste lingers in your mouth even after finishing eating and drinking water.. and no matter how much I eat it, it is not enough for me.. you will always want to grab one more bite from the box... And biryani needs perfection to make and Covid situation helped me with learning the recipe.. up until then, we were ordering outside and I started making it on my own in my house and people here are obsessed with my Biryani..
Varieties of Biryani:
There are a sh*t ton load of varieties in Biryani but I'm gonna specify top 2.. Normal basic homemade recipe that does not need to put on gas for 45 minutes and the second variety is called "Dum Biryani"... 90% of people prefer the Dum variety because of it's taste and smell..
This one here is the normal version that I make at home, and could be made within 30 minutes including preparation and cooking time.. This is easy, basic yet super delicious...
This one here is the famous restaurant version, which they marinate the vegetables/meat before hand, put everything in a pan, spread two layers with 70% cooked rice up top and close the lid, cook it for another 30 minutes..
I need to admit that the second version, even though takes so much time to make it and very hard to excel, is the delicious and much much much better version of the actual homemade one.. I mean, do not get me wrong, we can also make the second one at home, but as I said, if you are making this, you can't focus on other things because it takes a lot of time and effort to make it the right way with right amounts of salt, spices etc..,
I also love when they add mushrooms in Biryani and I particularly ask for Mushroom variety if am ordering a take out... And actually do not order this often, even though this is not that harmful to health and has beautiful spices in it, a good Biryani packet costs at least around $5 and the conversion of it in my currency is not that cheap.. Biryani is/was/will be always my comfort food which if provided, I will/can eat it forever..
Now, let me know what is your favorite food that you are okay with eating for life time... I can't wait to read your posts and drool over it :))
Thank you sponsors, I was able to buy biryani a couple of times because of your generosity :) Love you all
