A True Leader!!!

A Leader is a person rather very important person in any team who guides the entire team cum process into a successful path. We often do not credit leaders as much as they deserve it but a true leader stands in the middle of the path of vision and road to success and it is she/he who drives the whole team behind her/him towards whatever goals they ought to achieve. One can easily becomes a "Boss" but to become a true "Leader", it takes a lot of things. Let's quickly see see difference between a boss and true leader..

As you can see from the above chart, one can clearly notice the difference between the both attributes. And that is why they say, when you want to see yourself grow, be a boss and when you want to see everyone grow around you including you, then be a Leader. Apart from these, what true qualities a Leader possess?? let's see them below:

Respect:

Respect is something that is extremely important in every premises one works in. I will go with an example here,

There was once a neighbor beside our house who often had issues with her cable and every time she calls her cable provider, she just lashes out aloud at the employees. They come and fix her cable and then leave and she will have issue again very soon... Some days after, being someone who respects everyone, the another neighbor beside her house took her mobile, and called the cable provider and asked them politely to come to the house to check the wires again. Once they came, the humble neighbor explained her problem and asked them to check the entire wiring including the main hub that connects all the cables in that entire vicinity. He even offered the staff with coffee and stayed wth them until the work was finished. The rude neighbor never had issue with her cable ever again...

She acted like she was the boss and the humble neighbor just gave some respect. And you all saw where the problem has been solved.. people deserve respect and only a true leader will give some..

Authenticity:

A leader is a leader, Period... they just cannot fake in front of their employees and peers. Being a boss tend to fake humbleness in front of their superiors and then take all the credit of their employees but only a leader puts forth the accomplishments of their employees towards the higher positions because they cannot fake something that they are not...

Communication:

Every problem in this world can be easily solved if the said parties just sit and communicate like gentlemen.. Letting other people know what they are feeling and also having a good ear to listen to their issues is something that is so naturally comes to a leader. A true leader cares about his subordinates and do not dismiss their issues like it's nothing and listen and try to interact with them offering to solve their problems instead of invalidating them....

Humility:

Humility means being humble, even in simple words "being down to earth". No matter what they had achieved in their team or even in life, A true leader will always stay humble. They do not care about other's validation and just keep doing their work in a righteous way. They behave kind towards others as they are natural empaths and understand their concerns. They are always sweet and approachable.

Accountability:

Accountability means taking responsibility if something goes wrong. A leader not only celebrates her/his success with her/his team but also takes the responsibility on his shoulders if the team fails in accomplishing goals. She/he does not throw anyone under the bus rather feels obliged to protect his team by stepping forward and accepting the defeat on his name.

Empathy and Care:

Empathy is nothing but understanding and caring about his followers and subordinates. A leader tries to step into other's shoes to understand why they did what they did instead of lashing out on his team. As explained before in the point of "Respect", a leader shows sympathy towards others and offers her/his help whenever they can.

Visionary:

A leader knows EXACTLY what he wants to achieve and gives clear instructions and guides his team until the assignment is fulfilled instead of just alloting the work and asking the employees to go with their own way of doing things... As a true visionary, a leader understands what it takes to be successful, spreads motivation, positivity and she/he not only get successful, she/he drags her/his team into success.
