Everything that has a beginning has an end.
The year is ending, so it is time again to remember that everything that has begun will eventually end. Kingdoms and governments come and go. Companies are founded and then at some point they go bankrupt or are bought up. Bear markets and bull markets begin and end again. People are born and will die. It will inevitably happen. The only thing people don't know is when it will happen.
This is a simple truth that everyone knows, but very often forgets. People tend to think that everything will always stay the way it is. The kingdoms and governments think they will always rule. Company bosses think that their companies will always exist. When there is a bear market or bull market, people tend to think that they will last indefinitely. And although people know they are going to die, they behave as if they never have to die.
And unlike the year 2023, whose end is fixed after 365 years and people can prepare for it, they cannot know the time of the end of other cycles and are therefore often surprised by the end. The end sometimes comes suddenly and completely unexpectedly, but mostly it's in the offing. I also don't know when certain events and cycles end, but I have learned to expect the end and read the signs. That helps me not to be taken by surprise.
I wish you a happy and healthy new year full of positive surprises.
Embracing the cyclical nature of existence, the axiom 'everything that has a beginning has an end' reminds us to cherish each moment while anticipating new beginnings.
