You are right, we are not perfect, we are prone to mistakes. If someone makes a mistake, we should forgive them if they are ashamed of their mistake. Having a forgiving heart is the best because we will be free of all malice and our heart would be at peace and that is all that matters, our peace of mind above every other things. It takes time for me to forgive people especially when that person caused me so much pain. But eventually, I forgive them for me to free myself from hatred and anger. Holding a grudge unto them won't make my life better.

Pain cannot be paid for by material possessions because the heart does not need money, it is only an antidote that can melt a wounded heart which, although it has healed, still leaves deep scars. the word sorry is always the top priority to treat a wounded heart but not all hearts match the word sorry as an antidote, actually humans are taught to always forgive the mistakes of others according to their respective spirituality, but sometimes the word sorry is just a bridge to repeat the past. the word sorry is only to change the situation temporarily ... the most important question here is how much we believe in the word sorry from people who have hurt our hearts? it's better to forgive people without having to say a word than words will only change and come back again that's true forgiveness doesn't need to be known by people who have hurt our hearts. forgiveness can indeed change our lives to be calmer and less burdensome, not frozen but dynamically melting.. forgive people without them needing to know you have forgiven them and that is the victory of a heart that doesn't want to feel the same pain again.

I was betrayed once by a person I called a friend and a brother, I never talked to him about and he doesn't even know I know, it was really painful I just never thought he will be that low in doing what he did, we are good but the vibe of telling him more of my secret now has gone down that trust I had In him is no longer there or is there but not strong enough.
