Self introduction: ROSE🌹

Hi! I am Rosalie, just call me Rose for short. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister, and I am the eldest. I could say that my family belongs to a poor family since my parents were only a farmer, so, our main livelihood is farming. But then, their income could not totally support our primary needs, but we need to hold each other’s hand in order for us to survive. During weekends, I usually spend my day at the farm, because my only goal is to help my parents.

I started to study in Elementary at the age of 6 years old. At my very young age, I used to climb at the guava tree to picked some guava fruit and sell it to my classmates in exchange of a little money to buy snacks during recess time or any kind of food to eat. By this time, I learned how to value things and how to value money that plays an important role in our daily living. During my 6 years in elementary, my parents would not give me money to buy food. During recess time, I used to eat rice and viand as well as during lunch time. I had two packed foods, one for recess time, and one for lunch time. Until such time that I will be graduated in Grade 6, I thought it would be a nightmare, but reality here it comes. Finally, I graduated last 2002 and it was fulfilling that in every hardship, there is happiness at the end.

Right after my graduation, I plan to continue my studies in High School and in college in order to reach my ambition in life. Few months later, High School days/years came, I was 12 years old since I started to study in secondary level. During my 4 years in high school, I am matured enough to handle everything of what might happen in my life either good or bad. I used to be alone in order for me to focus and concentrate with my studies. Every night, I need to study all my lessons and doing assignments as well. My only goal is to passed all my subjects and may continue to the next level even in difficult times.

During weekends, I used to go to my aunt’s farmland to do farming wherein I can gain extra income for my allowance in school and for my daily expenses. Sometimes, I had to sell banana cue and bread in school to earn money as well. Everything I did was worth it. Finally, the long wait is over, my four years we’re already done and it was my great honor to be ne of a few who had these great experiences happen in my life throughout this journey with the guidance of our Almighty father.
