My life as a School Activity Coordinator Sept. 10, 2023 In the dynamic world of education, there exists a role that often goes unnoticed but plays a significant part in shaping a vibrant and engaging school environment: the school activity coordinator. This blog delves into my personal journey as a school activity coordinator, shedding light on the joys, challenges, and profound impact of this role on both students and the educational community. My life as a school activity coordinator is far from mundane; it's a whirlwind of responsibilities and experiences. As the orchestrator of extracurricular activities and events within the school, my role is inherently diverse. From planning and managing every day brings forth new challenges and opportunities. The heart of this role lies in effective time management. A typical day involves juggling numerous tasks, from coordinating meetings with student leaders to brainstorming event ideas, communicating with teachers and administrators, and ensuring the seamless execution of activities. To navigate this labyrinth of responsibilities, I've honed my time management skills, relying on digital tools and well-structured schedules to keep everything on track. Clear and efficient communication is the lifeblood of my role. Whether it's conveying the goals and objectives of an upcoming event, seeking buy-in from teachers and parents, or simply listening to the ideas and concerns of students, strong communication is the linchpin that ensures the success of school activities. It is through these interactions that I can motivate and mobilize a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of my role is the opportunity to inspire and nurture student engagement. It's here that my work takes on a deeply meaningful dimension. Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel not just invited but excited to explore their passions and interests is a core tenet of my mission. Encouraging them to take ownership of their extracurricular experiences, I watch them blossom and grow, developing skills, friendships, and a profound sense of belonging. My role as a school activity coordinator is demanding and sometimes relentless. Recognizing the signs of burnout, I've come to appreciate the vital importance of self-care. Whether it's taking short breaks during the day, indulging in personal hobbies, or spending quality time with loved ones, self-care is essential to maintain my energy, enthusiasm, and overall well-being. My life as a school activity coordinator is a profound journey, one that continually tests my organizational skills, adaptability, and creativity. It's a role that demands unwavering dedication, but it's also immensely rewarding. Every day, I have the privilege of contributing to a vibrant school culture and helping students develop academically and personally. As I navigate the complexities of this role, I remain committed to inspiring and supporting our students in their extracurricular endeavors, knowing that their growth and enrichment are the true measures of my success as a school activity coordinator. That's it!! Thanks for reading! God bless us all.

Hello!! I'm back!! 🤩🤩🤩

Just a bad day - Not a bad life. **We all have those days when we wake up feeling tired and worn out, and it can be hard to find the motivation to get through the day. But don't give up hope! Even on the toughest of days, there are always ways to find inspiration and keep pushing forward. Here are some tips to help you get through a tiring day:** **Start with a positive mindset** Your thoughts have a powerful impact on your mood and energy levels. Instead of dwelling on how tired you feel, try to focus on the things that bring you joy and motivation. Visualize yourself having a successful and productive day, and remind yourself of your goals and the reasons why you're working towards them. **Take breaks** It's important to give yourself some time to rest and recharge throughout the day. Take short breaks every few hours to stretch, take a walk, or just relax and clear your mind. Even a few minutes of downtime can make a big difference in how you feel. **Stay hydrated and nourished** Proper hydration and nutrition are crucial for maintaining energy levels and mental clarity. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat healthy, balanced meals throughout the day. Avoid sugary snacks and drinks, as they can cause a crash in energy levels. **Connect with others** Social support is an important factor in our mental and emotional well-being. Reach out to friends or colleagues for a quick chat or check-in, or connect with loved ones during your lunch break. Even a brief conversation can boost your mood and energy. **Stay focused on the present moment** It's easy to get overwhelmed by the demands of the day, but try to stay focused on the task at hand. Break down larger projects into smaller, manageable tasks, and prioritize your to-do list based on what needs to be done first. By focusing on one thing at a time, you can stay more present and reduce stress and anxiety. Remember, everyone has days when they feel tired and run down. But by staying positive, taking breaks, and focusing on the present moment, you can get through even the toughest of days. Keep pushing forward, and know that better days are ahead!

A day in my life Today was an amazing day! Everything just seemed to fall into place and I couldn't help but feel happy and content throughout the entire day. From the moment I woke up, I knew it was going to be a great day. To start things off, the weather was perfect. It was warm and sunny, with just the right amount of breeze. I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and go for a run in the park. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and I felt alive and invigorated as I ran through the trees and along the paths. After my run, I met up with some friends for brunch at a cute little café in the city. We enjoyed delicious food and caught up on each other's lives. It was so nice to spend time with people who make me feel happy and supported. Next, I spent some time doing one of my favorite activities: reading. I curled up on the couch with a good book and lost myself in the story for a few hours. There's something so peaceful about getting lost in a good book, and I felt completely relaxed and content. As the day drew to a close, I decided to treat myself to a movie. I went to the cinema and watched a funny and heartwarming film that left me feeling uplifted and joyful. Finally, I ended the day by calling my family. Even though we live far apart, we make an effort to stay in touch and catch up regularly. Hearing their voices and sharing stories about our day made me feel even more grateful for the amazing day I had experienced. All in all, it was a perfect day. I felt happy, content, and fulfilled throughout every moment, and I'm so grateful for all the little things that made it so special. It's days like these that remind me how lucky I am to be alive and to have so many wonderful people and experiences in my life.

"You're hired" (Private Teacher) Part 2 07/04/22 | Eurydice CONTINUATION...... (Online Demo-Teaching) June 29 came and I was very nervous because I'm afraid that I can't be able to do my Demo-teaching well because of some issues. First, our platform to used in online-demo was Zoom but because of some specs issues in my laptop, I asked them if we can use google meet instead. They agreed and they just ask for the meeting link. I was very hesistant to send my Lesson Plan because I'm not sure if I'll do my demo or not. Fortunately, my classmates and friends convinced me to do it because it was a big opportunity for my teaching career. I began my demo at exactly 3:30 in the afternoon. I was so shocked because I was just expecting for at least 2 teachers to observe my demo but I was wrong. There were a total of 8 teachers in the google meet and the administrator told me that they will act as my students. First, I was so nervous but as the demo went by, I was able to level up my confidence and did a very good job up to the last part of the online demo. After my demo, the administrator told me if I could leave the gmeet first for them to be able to deliberate their votes if they will hire me or not. After 15 minutes of deliberation, the administrator called me in my messenger account and pointed out some positive and negative things on my demo. (I'll just try to remember all her remarks). Positive comments I am good in using English Language. My houserule was very effective and timely in today's teaching modality. My motivation was good because I was able to make my students lively. By the way my motivation was entitled "Show and Tell". Objectives was well explained because I was able to explain it one by one for the students to be reminded of what to achieved at the end of the lesson. My activities were good because it made the students connect their prior knowledge to the new content that they were about to learn. My analysis was based on my activitiy which made the students aware to the new topic. My lesson proper was very well delivered because I was able to explain it clearly. Aside from that, I also used student-centered approach where I asked my students' prior knowledge first before giving additional information. The application is good also because I gave the students a chance to practice their new knowledge by letting them answer a simple activity. In generalization, I asked my students about the importance of the topic which made my students achieved my affective objectives. I was able to answer all the students' questions clearly which made them think that I really have a mastery of subject matter. I have a smiling face ( the name of the school is SMILE which is why the teachers really need to always smile in every circumstances). All in all, I got a Unanimous decision which made me got hired at my first attempt. Negative comments I should always see to it that I explain the introduction clearly in my lesson proper. I can just let my students answer the assignment orally. The performance task must not be submitted right after the discussion. I only got 3 negative comments but I considered it as my foundation to become a good and effective teacher in the future. After the demo, the administrator told me to wait for their call for me to be able to sign my contract and for other requirements. That would be all for today,. Thank you for reaching this far and take care always. Love, Eurydice

"You're hired" (Private Teacher) 06/29/22 | Eurydice I still remember those days where I rant my disappointments and failures in this platform as well as my experiences when applying a job way back then. As I reminisce those days, I became very proud of myself because I was able to overcome those difficulties and was able to go on with life. I'm very happy to share that I'm finally graduating this coming July 8!. Other than that, I also got another achievement which made my day very happy. I JUST GOT HIRED AS A PRIVATE TEACHER!! I cannot explain the feeling that I have right now because I can't believe that I was able to find a job that quick even if I'm still a graduating student. In regards with that, I wanted to share my journey in applying this job. I will also give some tips especially to those aspiring new teachers who will graduate or graduated already- in their demo teaching. I sent 3 resumes for different private schools and 2 schools replied to my gmail saying that if they can meet me for an interview. I chose the nearest one because I don't wanted to commute. I just tried applying and replying for their questions through text message and after that they called me for an exam. I didn't hesitate to go because I also wanted to experience how it feels like to apply in a teaching institution. I went to the location and took my exam. The exam was composed of 300 items and there was time limits to every parts. I started answering at exactly 1:00 pm and finished at 3:30 pm. Take note: This was a face-to-face exam. The owner of the school was the one who facilitated the exam. I answered 4 parts of the exams. It has an easy, average and hard levels. The last part of the exam was to make an essay about ourselves. I made sure that I wrote the essential informations. After taking the exam, we had our interview. I was adviced to go home because I lived far from the location and it was already 4:00 in the afternoon. They scheduled my interview last June 26 (Monday) thru Zoom. The day that I was waiting for came and I got chills all over my body but the positivity still dominated in me. Our interview lasted for one hour and I got a very positive feedback coming from the interviewer. Anyways here are some of the questions that I can still remember from the interview. Tell me something about yourself. Tell me something about your family and your childhood. What is the most stressful thing that you experienced in school? How did you overcome it? Did you learned something from it? What will be your approach in teaching? What is your teaching philosophy/principles? What is the difference between online and physical classes? What is your stress coping mechanism? Why did you choose to become a teacher? (I forgot the other questions but the last part in the interview was a fast talk). After the interview, the interviewer told me that she likes me and she's happy and amazed that I was able to communicate with her using English Language. She told me that it will be easier for her to guide me if I get hired because according to her, I am a good communicator. After the interview, she let me decide when I will going to do my demo-teaching. I told her that I'll do it today (June 29 at 3:30 pm) TO BE CONTINUED....... Hi guys, I'll just make another article for the continuation. I just can't help my eyes na. I'm so sleepy and tired. Goodnight everyone and sorry for being inactive for almost a month. I miss you all. Take care!! Love, Eurydice ❤

The Fire Incident in our School Way Back 2015 05-25-22 | Eurydice This will be my first time participating in a prompt here in read.cash because I bumped into the article of my friend @Athaliah about fire. After reading her article, the memories I had during the fire incident which happened long time ago flashbacked in my memory which urge me to join the said prompt. Originally, this prompt was initiated by @JonicaBradley If you'd like to take part in this prompt, here's how: **Join** the Promptly Jonica community here https://read.cash/c/promptlyjonica-b4a0 Write anything about **FIRE** Write **100% original** content **Write** at least 600 words for Rusty to be happy **Submit** your article to PromptlyJonica **Tag** me, @JonicaBradley https://read.cash/@JonicaBradley Have **fun**! The fire incident in our school way back 2015. I was a Grade 10 student when the fire in our school happened. We were having a class that time when one of the utility personnels shouted for help because our two story-building consisting of Principal’s office, Guidance Counselor’s Office, Disbursing Office, Record Room, School Clinic, two classrooms for Grade 8 students and one kitchen room were swallowed by fire. Our teacher immediately stopped the discussion and asked us to immediately get out from the room and go to the safest place which was in the field. Since the fire is not that near in our building, we decided to help our teacher to evacuate the important documents and stuffs. The fire incident happened at exactly 10:45 am and it takes time for the firemen to respond because our school was located in a remote area in our Barangay. Looking at our classrooms and building swallowed by the fire is indeed traumatic. I can see the devastated faces of our teachers, students, staffs and Principal. There were also teachers who got fainted because they worried for the students’ important documents. The firemen arrived at 11:35 am and it’s too late for them to control the fire which made the building totally burned and destroyed. According to the report, around P1.3-million worth of properties were damaged. The initial investigation revealed that the fire started from the kitchen at the second floor of the building. Fortunately, no one was harmed from that incident. This is the only photo I gathered from the incident because some were taken down due to some reasons. *There was also a gossips that the fire was intentional because we have a new principal that time and according to my classmates, the former school of our new principal was burned also after he reported for duty. To make things clear, the fire was intentional because the new principal wanted to burned all the documents from the former administration. He wanted everything to be new para kapag may palpak na nagawa ang former administration, hindi siya madadamay. But that was only a gossip and I’m not believing it also.* *News Link* https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sunstar.com.ph/ampArticle/32263 That’s it!! Thank you for your time. All images are mine.

Midnight Cravings 05-22-22 | Eurydice It's already late in the evening but I'm still wide awake because of my cravings. I was about to close my eyes earlier but my imaginations went wrong, I imagined a lot of foods in front of me like I became confused of what to eat first. It's frustrating knowing that it's already late in the evening and we don't have any stocks of food left in our fridge. I just ate noodles with egg in my dinner but those foods were not enough to satisfy my cravings. As a person who is fond of eating, my first goal after having enough money is to buy a lot of foods so that whenever I got midnight cravings, I can be able to satisfy myself by the foods in our fridge. Hays Anyways, as I mentioned earlier, I imagined a lot of foods infront of me and these are those: Fried Chicken *I really love fried chicken especially the wings part. But don't get me wrong, I'm aware that the wings part of the chicken is dangerous part and it is unhealthy.* (Short Trivia) **Chickens that are injected with steroids usually are given the shot at the neck or the wings. Therefore, these places had the highest concentration of steroids.** *(Source:* *https://www.mylot.com/post/1979115/especially-for-ladies-chicken-wings-is-dangerous-must-read**)* What is steroids? **Steroids are a synthetic form of testosterone, a sex hormone naturally produced by men and women alike. Taking steroids increases testosterone levels, causing effects like increased muscle mass and strength.** What are its negative effects to human Body? **Steroid use is associated with several adverse effects, such as an increased risk of heart disease and liver toxicity..** *Chicken wings are really my favorite but I'm also aware of it's negative effects that is why I always see to it that I eat it with moderation.* Kwek-Kwek *I can taste it just by imagining it's texture and aroma. Eating this type of streetfood is really my thing back when it's still face-to-face classes. Every afternoon, I always buy this one before going home. This became my comfort food whenever I'm sad and frustrated. It taste delicious most especially if we eat it together with the cucumber dices. ..* Proben and Chicken Skin *I'm really fond of eating streetfoods most especially these two. I love how it taste and smell. I am a type of person who loves to eat chicken fats and skin especially if it's crunchy and bagong luto. Since I lived in Davao City, whenever we go to Roxas Night Market, I always looked for streetfoods stalls that sells these streetfoods because I can't live a Night-market (night out) without these 2.* Rocky Road Ice cream *Arrhghh. I badly need this one. Cravings will never be completed without a dessert. I really love rocky road ice cream most especially the Selecta brand. I love it's taste especially the marshmallows. Huhuhu* Author's note: That would be all everyone. Sorry for this nonsense article of mine. I just can't get over with my night cravings. Hays. Anyways, goodnight everyone and sleep well. Take care always coz I care. Most especially to my sponsors. Thank you so much GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!! KINDLY CHECK THEM OUT!! All images are from google.com

Are you willing to give Second Chances? 05-20-22 | Eurydice *Have you ever been betrayed by someone you care about?* It’s really difficult to consider giving someone you care about another chance after being hurt, betrayed and disappointed. However, forgiveness is an important trait in human relationships. We are not perfect, we sometimes commit mistakes but we must always put in our minds that one mistake is enough. We should not do it over and over again most especially if we are given second chances. *Are you willing to give second or more chances to someone who really hurt you badly?* Even though we’re taught to forgive and give others the chance to make amends, not everyone is capable of doing so. In my own perspectives, I can say that those people who are fed up of giving a person a second chances are those who were mostly hurt and betrayed over and over again. *As for me, I admit that I am not perfect. Just this month, I committed a serious mistake to my partner. I chatted some boys for fun without considering his feelings. Yes, it’s really my mistake for doing such actions but believe me or not I don’t have any intentions to cheat. I thought that he will leave me because of that but I was wrong. He talked to me instead and ask me to fix things. He gave me second chances and I will surely keep his trust and avoid doing such wrong actions again.* So much for that, if you’re in that situation. ***Are you going to give second chances and forgiveness? What else can second chances do for you?*** THAT FACTOR OF SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING *Every time you forgive someone, you will feel relaxed and happier. Why do I say so? it’s because forgiveness helps us to move on and maintain our emotional stability. You can be able to sleep at night, do your everyday tasks peacefully without worrying for something.* PEOPLE CAN CHANGE *People can change because our personality is not stable, it is changing. People can learn from their mistakes- and when you give them a second opportunity, you allow them to demonstrate this.* IT’S PRACTICAL AND SAVES EMOTIONAL ENERGY *Just like what my partner did, he gave me second chances because he wants me to know that he really loved me that much. he wants me to realize my own mistakes and appreciate the relationship we build for 5 years. I can say that it’s effective. After those fights, we became more closer and we got to choose the ‘reset button’ of our relationship. We became more attached to each other. We choose to forgive and forget* YOU’D LIKE PEOPLE TO TREAT YOU THE SAME WAY *Imagine yourself in the position of needing a second opportunity. Wouldn’t it make you feel better if you were given a second chance? It’s wonderful to know that someone is willing to give you a chance to redeem yourself.* CLOSING THOUGHTS When we have the chance to forgive others we interact with, we should take advantage of it: it can improve our outlook on ourselves and the world. ***It is difficult to forgive. To forgive the one who inflicted the harm can be more difficult than the damage itself. Yet, without forgiveness, there can be no serenity.*** Thank you dear sponsors. Kindly check them out!! **Lead image:** https://www.istockphoto.com/photos/second-chance

How Well Do I Know my Partner 05-18-22 | Eurydice To be in a 5 years’ relationship is already an achievement for me. Just so you know, I was once a discontented girlfriend and I easily get bored in a relationship. My longest relationship before was only 8 months and that doesn’t go well. Just a short throwback, I met my boyfriend last 2017. To be with this man is already a blessing for me because with him, I got to experienced how to love and be loved. So much for that, the main purpose of this blog is to test whether I know my boyfriend that much since we are already dating for 5 years. Actually, I got all these questions from the internet and I just made a compilation of it and edited it using capcut. Without further introduction, let’s start. HOW MANY SIBLINGS DO HIS PARENTS HAVE? CAN YOU NAME THEM? My boyfriend is the youngest among five children. He has a 1 older brother and 3 older sisters. They were all good-looking. His older brother’s name is Richard while his older sister’s names are Melody, Kristina and Sandy. Just a short throwback again, one of the reasons why I dated my boyfriend is because I want to get close to ate Sandy. I just like ate Sandy ever since high school *(we came from the same secondary school).* So yes, he must thank ate Sandy for that. HAHA IS HE CLOSE TO HIS PARENTS? Yes. My boyfriend maybe an introvert and shy person but he’s so sweet when it comes to his mother. I remembered last December (during his mother’s birthday) he gave a short message for his Mom. He got teary-eyed and he almost cried but since he has a withdrawn personality, he was able to control his emotion. Sadly, I wasn’t able to document those happenings kasi nawala sa mind ko hahah. IF HE COULD GET FREE TICKET TO GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD HE GO? He’ll definitely go to Japan to see his favorite older sister, ate Melody. I can say that she is his favorite because ate Melody always spoil him with a lot of material things. Aside from that, whenever ate Melody return home from Japan, they always have a jamming session because my boyfriend knows how to play guitar and ate Melody loves to sing. WHAT IS HIS FAVORITE THING TO DRINK? My partner really loves coffee regardless of time whether its morning, afternoon and evening. Every time he visits me in our house, his most common request is to prepare him a coffee. He will not drink a specific coffee if I wasn’t the one preparing it, such a sweet man. HOW MANY GIRLFRIENDS DOES HE HAVE BEFORE YOU BOTH GOT TOGETHER? Zero. He was a No Girlfriend Since Birth before not till he found me. Hahah WHEN AND WHAT WAS YOUR BETTER HALF’S FIRST JOB? He got his first job last May 2018 as a loan processor in a cooperative company and he’s celebrating his 4 years in service this month of May. DOES HE PREFER CATS OR DOGS? He loves cats more than dogs and that was one of the reasons why I got interested to him. As you know, I love cats very much and spending time with our cats whenever he’s here in our house is one of our hobbies. DOES YOUR GUY HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS? He doesn’t have both. That's it! Thank you for reaching this far. Take care everyone!! Thank you dear sponsors! Kindly, check them out!! All images are mine.

Types of Classmates I met in High School 05-17-22 | Eurydice The majority of my high school experiences were reflected in some of my writing here. I'm not implying that my elementary and college years were unimportant to me. It's simply that my high school years provided me with so many good memories that I believe I could keep forever. I don't have many memories from elementary level because I was so young at the time and had practically forgotten about what happened in my school. Furthermore, because to the epidemic, I was unable to fully appreciate my college experience. When the pandemic began, I was in my second year of college in which I wasn't able to enjoy my entire college life. We cannot deny that the memories we had in high school gave a significant impact in our lives. That would be the time where we get to know different types of people aside from our classmates in elementary. You got to adjust from the environment, teachers and classmates. Speaking of classmates in relation to the title, today I will share to you the types of classmates that I have met when I was in High school. Please bear with me and without further ado, let’s start. THE ONE WHO DISRUPTS CLASS BUT THE TEACHER LOVES THEM ANYWAY When I was in Grade 9, I had a very cool teacher whom we treat as our brother. But don’t get us wrong, we only treat him as our older brother outside the school premises or during break time or any other time except for class sessions. He was our science teacher that time and our class sessions were every 1 in the afternoon. Given that it was 1 pm, there are students who will come late for they will have to take their lunch at home or they were just hanging around somewhere. One afternoon, my teacher was teaching something about physics when the late comers went inside the classroom. One of my classmates immediately stand up while humming the graduation march song like “tantantaran”. I was a bit surprised because I thought my teacher will get mad for disturbing the whole class but he just laughed so hard and told us to do the same thing whenever the late comers come inside. Instead of scolding my classmate, he just laughed at him while saying “garaa jud nimo bataa ka uy” to my classmate. I just can’t forget the coolness of my teacher back then. THE ONE WHO KNOWS EVERY SECRET Do not expect someone to maintain your secret forever if you tell them your secret. Especially if that exact someone belonged to a different social circle. Their loyalty would be put to the test at times. You'll be perplexed one day to discover that your secret has been broadcast across campus without your knowledge. THE ONE WHO TURNS EVERYTHING INTO A COMPETITION I have a close friend who treated me as her enemy every recognition day. She don’t want me to get higher grades than her that it why she will do everything just to stay on top. But in spite of that, I still treated her as my close friend because grades is not a big deal for me after all. THE ONE WHO NEVER STUDIES BUT ALWAYS GETS As Most of these types of classmates were boys. I have a classmate during Senior High School where he got to sleep all the time in class during discussions but if the teacher asked him something about the lesson, he can still answer it with confidence. I don’t know what his brain is made of. He was just totally amazing. THE ONE WHO HAS IT ALL I have a close friend/classmate who almost have everything. Fame, beauty, intelligence, talents and financial status. She was the one whom almost all of the boys wants. There were times where I personally avoided to walk with her in the school pathway because I will just look like her personal assistant. hahaha That's it! Thank you for reaching this far. How about you? Have you met these types of classmates when you were in High School? Don't hesitate to comment it below and let's talk about it in the comment section. Take care. Thank you my generous sponsors. Kindly check them out! **Lead image is mine.**

Better to say Hello than to say Goodbye ft. Fast talk Questions 05-16-22 | Eurydice It's been days again that I haven't published an article. I was just having a badtime these past few days because of my own mistakes. In my last article, I included there that I and my 5 years boyfriend had a misunderstanding. I thought that I can fix it sooner but I was wrong. Our misunderstanding became worst which lead us to fights. But gladly, we're able to fixed it. So much for that, I don't want to stick on that event because I don't want to ruin my day again because of guilt. Today, I decided to answer some fast talk challenge again because I don't have any topic to write. My mind is just blank because of my problems na ako lang din ang may gawa. I know that you're familiar with Boy Abunda's fast talk challenge. I was mesmerised by the answers of the guests in those questions that's why I decided to try it myself. By the way, this was from facebook and I just downloaded it. Hello | Goodbye I prefer to choose hello than goodbye. I understand that saying goodbye is one of the most difficult tasks because you must let go of a particular person, animal, or object. However, saying hello implies meeting someone who can have a significant impact on your life. There are many people who will simply enter your life to impart knowledge and life lessons. Nonetheless, we must be grateful to those individuals because, even if they are no longer with us, they were a part of our lives that shaped who we are now. Aso | Pusa Both of them are fantastic. If I had to pick just one, I'd go with cats. They were not only wonderful at collecting insects and dangerous animals, but they also helped me relax. My older sister was nearly bitten by a snake this morning, but our cats came to rescue her and caught the snake without difficulty. We have seven cats at home, and the mother cat is pregnant once more. Huhu pano na to. Hahha Adobo | Sinigang I'll choose adobo, I mean all adobo recipes. If our viand is always adobo, I'll definitely get fat. hahah As a matter of fact, I can eat 2 plates of rice or more if adobo ulam namin. Sipag (Diligence) | Tiyaga (Perseverance) I choose diligence over perseverance. Both of them may sound the same, in fact, I personally googled both of them to know their differences. According to wiki.diff.com, ***diligence is conscientiousness or determination or perseverance when doing something while perseverance is continuing in a course of action without regard to discouragement, opposition or previous failure.*** Sunrise | Sunset Sunset is my favorite. Every afternoon, I really enjoy watching the sun set, especially if I'm at the beach. While looking at the birds flying over the sea, I enjoy how the sun's light reflects on the water's surface. What a lovely work of art! Apart from that, I appreciate the fact that I made it through the day despite the difficulties I faced. Ganda | Talino Obviously, I'll choose talino. If you're beautiful and intelligent, then pinagpala ka talaga. But for me, Nakakaganda ang pagiging matalino. Maulan | Maaraw I'll choose maaraw. It's because if its summer days, there are a lot of outdoor activities that we can experience. We can go island hopping, gardening and may more. Unlike rainy seasons, we were stuck in our houses waiting for the rain to stop. It seems like we're wasting our time the whole day staying inside our houses. Tahimik | Maingay I'll choose silence. I'm an introvert person and silence is my friend. Island life | City Life We can't change the fact that city life is enjoyable but If I were to choose, I prefer to choose Island life. I wanted to live my life away from chaotic environment. I want to experience nature and enjoy my peaceful and happy life together with my future family. **Author's Note:** That's it! Thank you for reaching this far. I just would like also to thank my new sponsor @reanbooks thank you so much for your generosity. God bless you always and continue to be a blessing to everyone. It's hard to become a Leader. 05-10-22 | Eurydice Hello Tuesday!! How's everyone in this Platform? I hope you're doing well. Personally, I'm not in a good state right now because I and my boyfriend got a misunderstanding last Sunday. I'm just hoping that he'll forgive me for whatever I have done. Hayys, being in this state demotivates me everyday. I felt sad and lazy to do my everyday tasks. Rather than pondering about the entire time, I simply chose to write here and devote all of my time and attention to this platform. I'm sorry for not posting an article every day, but believe me when I say that I'm doing my best to write one every day. It's just that I ran out of ideas and became increasingly lazy. In this article, I will discuss the challenges that I have faced as a leader. From elementary to college, I was always selected as a leader of any group activity or organization. There were instances when I wasn't picked, but I appeared to be the leader since I was the one who put forth the most effort in group activities. I simply wanted to make high-quality output or presentations. Leadership is one of the hardest skills that we should master as a person but it's also a vital management functions that helps us to direct and instruct other people to achieve a common goal. I always wanted to be a member rather than a leader whenever we had group projects or performances. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to say yes, even if I don't want to. It's not that I don't believe in myself; I just don't want to be the one who bears the brunt of the responsibility if our results or outputs fail. Apart from that, I had other challenges as a leader. Here are a few examples: Difficult People *There will always be challenging people in your group. As a leader, your job is to treat people with grace and care. Don't give in to their demands. Don't expose yourself to them for too long. Above all, don't be discouraged by them.* **Being a leader in a group of people with diverse personalities is difficult enough. There were instances when I had to deal with a lot of difficult members. They were inconsequential and simply "pabuhat." But, once again, it is my responsibility to handle them properly. They may be hard to decipher, but they are necessary to execute specific jobs.** Being Respected and Being Liked *You aren’t always going to be liked. Someone will shoot you down the moment you put your hand up to lead something. Life is like that. Don't be swayed by it; instead, strive to communicate in a courteous and focused manner. Respect will come, and you might even be liked if you're lucky.* **I've been through it. One of my members has always been adverse to my ideas because she believes I am inept as a leader. But instead of listening to her, I chose to believe in myself. After all, she isn't my only member. I simply ignored her and focused all of my attention on my other members who like me. It's preferable to be despised by the minority than by the majority.** Staying Motivated *As a leader, you may notice that your enthusiasm for the project or organization has waned. It happens to the best of us, but all you have to do now is gather all of your positive attributes and get back on track. If you can't fix anything, don't waste time obsessing on it. You won't always be the number one cheerleader in your own mind, but your team expects you to be, so get out there and share the energy you do have, even if you're not feeling particularly enthusiastic.* **One of the most difficult things to do is to stay motivated. Especially if the other group is performing well while yours is the weakest. This happened to me during a research project in my second year of college. Except for my group, everyone in the class had a good research report. Because of the tension, I became demotivated and sobbed. However, I was able to overcome those obstacles and complete our research report on time.** Pressure *There is a great deal of strain in the classroom. In the long run, your capacity to tolerate and release some of that pressure will benefit you. You can't always run at full speed, so allowing some quieter moments to help you find balance will be critical to your leadership success.* **It's particularly difficult when you know that the leaders of other groups were all excellent and capable. You've always felt pressured to prove that you're like them.** Final Thoughts It is a huge part of shouldering the responsibility that leadership isn't simply about the hard stuff. Every time you have to deal with a difficult situation, you are practicing how to do it better since problems will inevitably arise. The lessons you acquire about dealing with the good and negative will determine your leadership development. Thank you dear sponsors! Check them out!! Anyways, I just would like to thank my new sponsor @Bibijani01 thank you so much for believing in my blogs. God bless you always and continue to be a blessing to everyone. Take care❤💯 Lead image source: https://medium.com/@candela.iglesias/overcoming-leadership-challenges-d5c24fa09e33

She has a beautiful smile Of couse, my Mom has the Brightest beautiful smile of all. I think I didn't inherent her strong teeth hahaha. She has a fine teeth and that's her biggest asset. She has a secret family recipe I was always the one who is assigned to do the kitchen works. I am the one who cook our food from breakfast to dinner. The thing is, ***iba talaga ang lasa ng ulam pag Nanay ang nagluluto.*** Can you relate? That's why sometimes, everytime I cook, I often ask my mom to taste it first before I serve it to the table. I just wanted to make sure that it taste good before serving it to my family. Another thing, my Mom will scold me also if the taste is not good especially my taste buds is for salty foods. She loves to garden Definitely! My Mom has a big garden in our backyard with different species of plants and flowers. Everytime she arrived home from work, she will go first to her garden to check if the plants were okay. The visitors who visit our house always praise her for being a Plant lover and for nurturing such rare and healthy flowers. She is amazing at her job My mom is a laborer in a well-known pineapple company here in our province. She started working on the year 1996 up until now. Fortunately, she was promoted as a Leadwoman and her job is not that hard unlike on her early years in work. During that day, we must all wake up at 6:00 am because if we were still laying in our beds, she will definitely scold us and pinch us. But it's okay because she just want to train us to become responsinble in our household chores. Her laugh is contagious Yes, she laughs very hard to the point that she'll shed a tear because of too much happiness. It happens everytime we watch a funny YouTube Video. She loves to bond with her friends and families. Aside from that, I can also say that she's an outdoor person because she loves to do gardening. She always make sure that we're okay and we can eat 3 times in a day. That's enough for me to call her as our superhero. I want to thank her for loving and for raising me to become who I am today. She's the best. That's it. Again, Happy Mother's day to all mothers around the world. Trip to Tagum City! 05-07-22 | Eurydice I would like to apologize for being inactive on this platform lately because we had our trip to Tagum last Wednesday to Friday to celebrate my Lola's 72nd birthday. (Geez, rhyme haha) Aside from that, we went there also because my Aunt just arrived home from Taiwan. I think she'll stay here for good. So much for that, since I don't have that much topic to think of, I just decided to share in this platform how our days went in the beautiful place of Tagum City. Have you been in Tagum City? I've been there many times because it was the birthplace of my mother. Just so you know, we lived here in Davao Del Sur and it takes an hours to travel to Davao Del Norte where Tagum City is located. °°°Wednesday°°° Since it's somehow far from our place, and we have to commute, we packed our things ahead of time. We also brought pineapple delicacies from my mother's workplace. We traveled at exactly 8:00 am. We rode a tricycle, UV express and a Bus. I became bored inside the bus that's why I decided to invite my squadmates to play Mobile Legends. After 3 games, I feel nauseated which made me fell asleep. After I woke up, we already arrived at Tagum Terminal and waited for my uncle to fetch us. After 20 minutes, we arrived in my Lola's pad and greeted her a Happy Birthday. Luckily, one of my uncles waited for us before he began to jumble money. I got 20 pesos only while my couzins got hundreds. There are a lot of people there also and I don't want to get kick or stumbled hahahah. After that, we had our picture taking and eat our food. After that, we just a had a short bond with my couzins in which they did some Trending Tiktok Dances. I didn't join them because I don't have a talent in dancing ahahah. After that, we just had a Movie Marathon and I just played ML the whole time. We don't have that much happenings. °°°Thursday°°° We woke up early because my family decided to go to the beach since being together is rare for our family because we lived in different places. My family chose the Pantukan Water World Resort coz it's kinda near to our place and that specific resort offers both beach and swimming pool experience. We just had our picture taking there. Here are some of our pictures. We enjoyed the whole place and at exactly 4 pm, my family decided to go home. Almost all of us ran out of energy but one of my couzins who have quiz that time was still awake and kicking. Hahah online class feels, you can go everywhere even if you have a class. When we arrived home, we decided to get a bath and hang out for a little while because my aunt invited us to go to Asuncion Tagum to accompany our other relatives in going home. I thought that we will stay a little bit in Tagum City Hall to watch the Miting De Avance of UNiTeam but the place was so very crowded that's why we just passed by instead. We stayed in Asuncion for almost 4 hours and went home at exactly 10 pm. It's already late but the traffic was still there due to UNiTeam's MDA. We arrived home at exactly 11 pm and I immediately fell asleep due to tiredness. °°° Friday°°° I woke up early again and prepared my things to go home. We traveled for almost 3 hours and I told my mother to go home first because I have to go to school for some important matter. When I arrived in School, it was not crowded as it used to be and I went directly to the office to sign the Memorandom of Agreement for my Scholarship. After that, I got my Collegiate Report Card also and I was shocked with my grades. ahhahaha sorry but I wasn't expecting to get those grades which enable me to maintain my scholarship. I immediately went home and bought some street foods because I wasn't able to take my lunch. I bought 100 pesos worth of streetfoods. Hahahahah sorry, I'm just hungry. After that, I went home and took a rest. Closing Thoughts All in all, our trip to Tagum was a blast. I enjoyed every moment. Spending time with our family and relatives is one of the best experiences that we can have in this world. We have to seize the moments and live our life to the fullest together with our lovedones. Thank you for reading and Take care always. Thank you, Dear Sponsor!! Check him out!! All images in this article are mine. Lead image is mine.

BINGO GAME: Highschool Edition 04-25-22 | Eurydice I've been out of a topic lately that's why I rarely published an article here for a week. But don't get me wrong, even if I didn't publish an article for a day, I'm still reading your works and it give me some content ideas. But I'm too shy to copy or to make my own rendition. I read an article yesterday about a BINGO game and I forgot the specific author. I think that BINGO game is about Self-care. It somehow gave me an idea to try the BINGO game but in different topic. Today, I'll try to write and play a BINGO game: High School Edition. I chose this version because I miss my highschool life and reminiscing those days will somehow make me feel comfort and happy. ***This is the original Bingo card:*** ***This is my filled-out BINGO card:*** Without further ado, let's start. Had a crush on a teacher When I was in Grade 11, we had a new teacher who was so very handsome and neat. He was our teacher in MIL or Media Information Literacy subject. Everytime we had a class discussion during his time, I think our class sessions was every afternoon, he always drinks the water in his tumbler because he have a sweaty body. The two personal things that he commonly brings were his tumbler full of water and his towel. I think those 2 were his most valuable things. Everytime he talks in front, he would always say the word "nasundan?" and were just like " yes sir, we're following". He has a cute smile and a chinito eyes. I think he's already married now with his longtime girlfriend. Sana all ❤ Tried out for a Sports Yes I tried out for a sports team in high school. I already made an article here about my sports in highschool which is softball. Luckily, I was accepted because I was a Palarong Pambansa athlete and I think that was my biggest advantage that time. Broke or set fire to something in science HAHA I can't forget this. We had a program in our school that time but since I'm a hard-headed student, I stayed at our classroom/science lab. (Public school kasi, isa na ang laboratory at classroom ahha). I became curious of the science apparatus that's why I tried to touch them and see them closely. Unfortunately, I bumped into a thermometer and it fell down and broke. I don't know what to do that time. Luckily, I was the only student inside the classroom that time and immediately went outside and act like nothing happened. The next day, my professor saw the broken thermometer but he didn't confronted us. I don't know why he didn't, I'm still confused of the reason. Hahah but sorry for being clumsy. When curiosity strikes talaga ahha. ewan ko nlg. Went to a school dance I'm not good in dancing but there are times where you just need to swallow your shyness and start exploring new things. I don't have good memories in school dance that's why I prefer to keep the happenings to myself only. haha Please bear with me. A teacher made you cry I cried during the graduation ceremony in Grade 12. I just can't afford to leave my teachers from Grade 7-12. They mean so much to me. Joined a club and stayed in it I've joined a lot of clubs during High school. I just did it for the sake of my grades but I'm not an active member. When I reached Grade 12, my friends told me to stop becoming a member and become an officer instead. We decided to joined the TVE club since we're a Tech-Voc. students. They nominated me to become the Vice- President and I won. After the election, our TVE club adviser told us to get ready ahead of time because we will be the one to handle the TVE program. I was chosen as an EMCEE and the program went well thankfully. Witnessed a Fight Since I was studying in a public school, witnessing a fight is not new to me. I became used to it. Gang fights and riots were rampants in our school that time which made the school to become firm in policies. We're not allowed to go outside during lunch except for those students who will be fetched by their guardians. That's why, we have to bring our own lunch and take it inside the school premises. We're like in Jail that time but at least, it's safer for us. Skipped a Whole day I'm an honor student but I am not as prim and proper as you think I was. Hahahah sometimes, we have to try out some stupid things because this will make our High school experiences more memorable. Reported a teacher to admin I had a teacher in Grade 11 who always give performance tasks and projects. Take note, those projects were not that easy to make and the materials is a little bit expensive. But as a student, I can't do anything about it and follow her instructions instead. During releasing of cards, we became confused as to why we got low grades from her subject. We confronted her and asked her for some documents that could prove that we deserve our low grades such as our attendance and scores in quizzes, projects and examinations. But she refused to show it which urge us to report her to the admin. After a week, we were informed that she was terminated from the school. Joined a sports team Just like I said, I was a part of the softball team in high school. That's it!! Thank you for reaching this far. Anyways, Lemme share to you my High School photos: Thank you dear sponsors! Check them out! ©All images attached are mine. ©Lead image is mine

Are you in-favor to the expansion of limited Face-to-face classes? 04-22-22 | Eurydice One of the sectors that was really affected by the pandemic is the education sector, wherein the teachers as well as the students were forced to adjust and deal with the online and modular mode of learning. The expansion of the limited face-to-face classes will be a great help for the students because Face-to-face learning is a very successful method of acquiring knowledge and skills since it frequently incorporates a variety of learning methods such as writing, reading, discussion, presentations and demonstrations. In face to face learning, students can be able to concentrate harder in their learning because there’ll be less distraction than if they were at home. They can gain greater understanding, stories and real-world examples from teachers and other students They have a greater chance of completing their course successfully by doing it in a classroom situation. They may feel more comfortable and learn more easily in a familiar, traditional classroom situation. They can access more information and richer understanding through teacher and other students’ body language and voice. they have the opportunity to connect with, problem-solve, and network with other students from a wide range of backgrounds. Unlike in online and modular mode of learning, there are instances where you can't catch up the lesson because first, in Online learning, there are scenarios where you cant understand your teachers due to the extrinsic and intrinsic distractions such as the noisy environment and anxiety. Second, modular mode of learning is not that effective because there are students who will just rely only their answers to their classmates. Instead of studying and answering their modules on their own, they will let their family members to answer it for them and this is obviously alarming. Personally, as a student and a future teacher, I don't have any problem in the expansion of the limited face-to-face classes. As a matter of fact, I was so happy after hearing the news. It's because I think it's now the right time to conduct limited face to face classes in order for the students to learn effectively. But we must also consider the safety of the students that is why we still need to follow the Covid 19 guidelines. When it comes to the teaching strategies and approaches, teachers may use different strategies that could cater the students individual learning styles without allowing them to work by groups. We can therefore use individualized instruction strategies in which it allows students to learn individually with the help of their teachers. This can be done by giving individual worksheets, individual performances and more. According to Ivan Illich, '***the most important thing you learn at school is that learning only happens by being taught.'*** Therefore, the expansion of the limited face-to-face classes will be a great help to make the students more knowledgeable and skilled since there is an engagement between the students and the teachers. **How about you? Are you in-favor also? Why or why not?** ©Lead.image: https://www.istockphoto.com/illustrations/back-to-school-mask

Virtual Friends/Followers/Subscribers REVEAL! 04-20-22 | Eurydice It's been quite awhile since I published my last blog. I want to apologize for being inactive here and for being lazy. I also became less consistent of my contents. In my last blog, I wrote that I'll publish another blog for the Summer Class '21 Serye but I have a problem in finding the pictures of my dishes. But life must go on and maybe I'll publish it after I find the pictures. *By the way, I was so happy this morning because in the last minute of my dream, I saw Sandro Marcos. Here's what happened in my dream; It was a Boyscout camping that time and I was assigned to distribute the foods for dinner. The line is quite long and it take me sometime to finish the food distribution. I was so hungry and I want to eat but our Patrol Leader told us to get ready and packed up because we're going home. I panicky packed up my food because it's "sayang" and asked Sandro Marcos if I can put it inside his bag.* ***(It's so weird but I don't care anymore. Kilig na kay ko sa damgo kay ni smile siya besh. Wala sad ko kabalo nganong naa siya didto skg damgo).*** *Hays, I'm sorry for my weird dream, I just can't get over it.* **Anyways, enough with that and let's focus to the main content of this blog which is to reveal my social media friends/followers/subscribers.** YouTube Subscribers Yesterday, someone emailed me and the email was from Rob Wilson where he gave me a plaque of recognition for reaching 500 subscribers in YouTube. Reaching 500 subscribers is already a big accomplishment to me because to get those numbers of subscribers in YouTube is not easy at all. As a matter of fact, when I started creating my Youtube Channel, I almost chatted all of my FB friends to subscribe to it. I always post it in my timeline and even display its link in my bio just to get subscribers. As of the moment, I already got 506 subscribers and I also got a total of 116,063 views. FaceBook Friends I created my main FaceBook account last 2013 and and I'm using it for 9 years already. As of the moment, I already got a total of 4,954 FB friends and 276 Friend Requests. But I created a new account exclusively for those people I know and I think I got a total of 200 friends in that account. The digits were so far from each other because in my main account, I accepted the FR of unknown people. Maybe that's a big mistake that I did for my FB journey because some posts in my newsfeed were so toxic and it came from unknown people. But I slowly unfriend and unfollow them for my own good. InstaGram Followers I rarely used my IG account because my account is kinda boring ahhahaha. I also don't have that much good pictures to post since I'm always in my house lying in my bed. Maybe I'll use it after my graduation where I can be able to get a job and earn money to explore the world. Anyways, di naman halata na walang posts no? naka 284 nga eeh ahahah but those were all my faces lang talaga. Nothing to be amazed of. By the way, I got 364 IG followers. TikTok Followers I downloaded this application because I love watching short clips and videos. Aside from that, I also love the TikTok Filters and trends. My post were mostly 'pacute' clips because I don't have that much to offer. I'm not good in dancing as well as in singing. But I just make use of my talent in that platform which is acting ahahhaha. I have some of TikTok videos were I act, dubsmash and created some pacute trends. I didn't hide my username. If you have a TikTok account, don't hesitate to follow me coz I will follow you as well. Let's be friends even outside in this platform. ReadCash Subscribers I know that I became less active in this platform and I understand why I only got a small number of subscribers in my account for 2 months. But it's okay, I'm still happy and blessed since I was still able to gain 45 RC followers. Sorry for disappointing you in my silly contents and thank you for staying with me for 2 months. Having these number of people following and subscribing my Social Media accounts is really a blessing for me. I'm beyond thankful for having them. Thank you, sponsors! Check them out! ©Images used were mine. ©Lead image: https://www.123rf.com/photo_147745636_online-friends-lifestyle-vector-illustration-flat-virtual-online-conversation-messaging-concept-pers.html

Summer Class'21 Serye: Korean Cuisine (1) 04-16-22 | Eurydice I was scrolling in my Google drive and then I bumped into a specific folder which contains my outputs last summer class 2021. So, since I don't have that much topic to write for my daily blogs, I decided to make it as my content. We supposedly had our Industry Training last summer 2021 but due to the pandemic and Covid 19 restrictions, we were not allowed to deploy in certain industries. But our school adapted another way in order for us to passed the subject. We were given a task to cook 5 dishes per week according to a specified cuisine. We were like a chef vlogger because we need to take a video in every cooking steps for us to have a documentary or proof that we really cooked it by ourselves alone. Our grades depends on the video that we uploaded in the google classroom that's why we really need to exert extra effort in making the best output to get higher grades. From explanation to demonstration and even to plating and presentations, you really need to always see to it that everything is nice and perfect. The only problem that I encountered during those days were buying my ingredients. As we all know, we are living in an era where we really need to use money in order for us to complete a certain tasks. In my case, we were not that financially stable and asking money from my parents to buy the ingredients for my chosen dishes is quite hard. But I'm still thankful that I was able to find ways on how to divide each of the raw materials to come up with 5 dishes for a week. After all, we really need to become strategic and wise in doing specific tasks. Enough with that, without further ado lemme share to you my 5 dishes for a week. KOREAN CUISINE Korean Spicy Chicken Feet (Dakbal) Ingredients: ¼ kilo chicken feet 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. oil 1 onion 4 cloves garlic ¼ cup water 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 pc. Naga viper 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch slurry 1 tsp. pepper 1 chopped spring onion 1 tsp. sesame seeds (optional) Procedures: Clean the chicken feet well. Put in the pot with water and salt then let it cook for 7 mins. Set aside. Heat the pan and saute garlic and onion. Add the cooked chicken feet. Add water, soy sauce, naga viper, sugar and cornstarch slurry. Combine all the ingredients and add pepper. Garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds. Serve Steamed Egg (Gyeranjjim) Ingredients: 1 egg 1 pinch salt ¼ cup hot water 1 tsp. pepper 1 spring onion 1 tsp. sesame seeds Procedures: Cook rice in thericecooker. Finally, I've got the best man 04-14-22 | Eurydice I have met a lot of people in my life but nobody treated me well same as how my man treated me in his own way. As you know, I've been in a 5 years relationship and in that specific time, I can say that I'm really certain that the man that I have right now will be the man that I will exchange "I do's" in the future. As I looked back in my past relationships, I can say that all of the experiences that I got there contributed a big factor as to how I handle my relationship right now. But in contrary, I was the first girlfriend of my man but he already handled me the best that he can. Therefore, it really depends on how you handle a specific relationship regardless of experiences. It really depends upon the maturity of a specific person added with love and respect. Today, I would like make my man as the highlight of this blog. I will share to you why I consider him as my best man and how thankful I am to have him in my life. Finally, I've got the best man!! The man who knows me well Other people may describe me as happy and jolly individual but I'm not. In fact, I have a lot of hidden characteristics. Everytime I became disappointed over things or I became pressured in my studies, I always cry. Yes, crying is my remedy in all the hassles that I'm in. Every time my man felt that I'm not in a good mood or I am pressured, he will immediately buy me something like food and drinks to lessen my emotions. He will advice me and let me cry because he knows that crying will make me feel okay. The man who listens to all my rants and problems He became my guidance counselor everytime I have a big problem whether it's in school or in our house. He's already familiar to my strict teachers since they are those people that I have a problems with. I always told him 'bout what happened in our class sessions, if I got good scores, my answers in oral recitations and my failures. In terms of family problems, he's already aware that I got little attention from my parents since I'm the middle child. I am less vocal to my parents because I felt that they don't love me same as the love they have for my siblings. The man who treats me right My man is the best in taking care of his girl. Before COVID and it's still face-to-face classes, he was always there to give me a ride to the City where my School located. He would always treat me to dates thrice a week after school. We always went to my favorite food stall which were the "isawan" and "fishballan". Honestly, I'm not fond in a fancy restaurants or such because I'm into the supremacy of street foods. Aside from those, my man knows how to handle my moods. If I don't like a specific thing, he will respect it and I think that's definitely a green flag. Author's note: Each of us is deserving to have at least one person who will love us the way we love them. If we found that specific person, we must take good care of them and let them feel secured that our love is only for them alone. Of course, we must also pray to God to guide the relationship that we're into right now. If there's a guidance from Above, your relationship will surely lasts for a lifetime. Thank you and Keep Safe! Sleep Paralysis Encounters 04-13-22 | Eurydice I've been quite busy lately which is why I became inactive in this platform. I have a lot of things in mind and I became less motivated. Anyways, today, I will share to everyone my Sleep Paralysis Encounters. I've read a lot of stories from the other users in this platform about this phenomena that's why I decided to write mine also. Have you encountered Sleep Paralysis? The feeling of being aware but unable to move. I have experienced this one almost every night last year. This made me scared to fall asleep. Everytime I close my eyes, I can hear some hushes around me whispering something I can't understand. I wanted to open my eyes but I'm afraid. I wanted to shout but I can't open my mouth. I wanted to move but my body was paralyzed. The only thing that I always do everytime I have sleep paralysis is to pray and to mumble the "Our Father in Heaven" Prayer. I always repeat this prayer for a couple of times. But the moment I started to pray, I can feel that something is choking me. I was so afraid everytime my sleep paralysis attacked. Another encounter was when I woke up from a deep sleep. After opening my eyes, I saw a cute baby beside me and smiling at me. I was confused because we don't have a baby at home. The moment I touched the baby, his face transformed into a ''Tiyanak" (baby vampire) and attacked me by choking my neck. I can't breath that time but I'm still blessed that I survived. That was when I realized that I was not yet completely waken up and I was still in the middle of a dream. **Based on my research, sleep paralysis occurs in two situations.** First is the sleep paralysis that you encountered while falling asleep which is called **hypnagogic or predormital sleep paralysis.** I think that was the first situation that I got into in my first encounter because it happens while I started to fell asleep. On the other hand, If sleep paralysis occured after waking up, it is called **hypnopompic or postdormital sleep paralysis.**. That was when the baby vampire attacked me by choking my neck upon waking up. What could be the causes of sleep paralysis? Paralysis in your limbs. Inability to speak. Sense of suffocation Hallucinations. Fear. Panic. Helplessness. Tightening around your throat. Daytime sleepiness, which may be a sign of narcolepsy. Sleep paralysis is really a serious problem for me last year. But as time goes by, I rarely experienced those because everytime I sleep, I always imagine that I was in a very calm place, like in the seashore and in a garden. Because If I will not imagine these, the unknown and creepy voices will start to hush in my ear which triggers my sleep paralysis. How about you? Have you experienced this one? How did you overcome those encounters? Xie Xie Ni dear sponsors. Check them out!! ©Lead image source: https://www.sleepcycle.com/sleep-paralysis/sleep-paralysis-what-was-that-thing-in-my-room/

Red flag or Green flag? 04-11-22 | Eurydice Last week, one of my close friends told me about how she and her boyfriend ended their relationship. They broke up, she said, because of her boyfriend's attitude. Her partner used physical attacks on her every time they fought, making her an abused girlfriend. She simply put up with everything until she made the decision to officially end their relationship. She first messaged me, asking for my opinion, and I immediately agreed after hearing her sentiments. Nobody has the right to be treated in this manner. If you truly care about someone, you must constantly keep your hands off of her body. You don't have the right to utilize physical attacks or anything like that. She contacted me again two days after their breakup and rambled on about an urgent issue. Her boyfriend, she told me, wants all of the things that he gave her back. What kind of attitude do you have there? My friend, on the other hand, accepted it and returned all of the exact items. She explained to me that it is preferable for her to live a calm life because her ex-boyfriend will no longer have a reason to contact her. After that, I realized that, even if they appear to be happy on social media, we can't simply assume that they are happy in real life. That event prompted me to start a blog exploring the link between the Red and Green Flags. You must first get to know someone before dating them. You must become more careful and meticulous in your partner selection since, in the end, you will be the one who suffers. RED FLAGS IN A RELATIONSHIP Criticism A true partner would never berate you or criticize you in any way. I mean, it's fine to critique, but you must do so in a kind manner. One example is criticizing your partner's attire or appearance. Every time my friend and her boyfriend went out on a date, she felt bad about herself. Her boyfriend wants her to wear attractive dresses, so anytime she wears jeans, he criticizes her, saying things like "you don't have a sense of style." That's already a red flag. **Defensiveness** It's fine to defend ourselves on occasion, but not to the point that we become guilty as a result of over-explaining. An example is when you found out that your partner is chatting someone in messenger. You just asked them " who is that?" and then they will immediately say "she's/he's just my friend, why? you will accuse me again of cheating? Is that what you wanna say? chu.ii". Well, you were just asking who she/he is but your partner became over defensive. Perhaps he or she is concealing something. Contempt A healthy relationship requires a balance of supremacy between the partners. No one is better than the other. Every partnership requires mutual understanding and respect. If you believe your partner has become superior to you and makes all of your decisions for you, that's already a red flag. For example, your husband will not allow you to work since he knows you can earn more money than he does. You must never allow them to make decisions for you; your brain is superior to your heart, so you must always follow your brain's lead. **So, now that we've covered what you should avoid, let's look at what you should seek out!** Green Flag in a Relationship They honor your no. A good partner will definitely respect and honor your No's. They will not force you to do something you didn't like. If you don't like to wear sexy clothes, then they will accept it!. If you don't like to go out because you're tired, they will respect it! That's definitely a green flag. **You Find Yourself Laughing And Smiling A Lot** You will always feel happy, even in tiny things, if you are with the right person. You're already smiling at the prospect of remembering him/her. You love being in their company. That's all there is to it. Feeling well in each other's presence is a good sign in the early stages of a relationship. Do you feel joyful? Are you smiling more than you usually do? Are your friends noticing a positive change in your mood? **4. You Want Similar Things in Life** If you share common values with your partner, such as kindness, trust, honesty, and ambition, it's a big plus. Whatever is important to you should be important to them as well. Pay attention in the beginning to see if you're on the same page. While you're getting to know each other, you should also discuss your long-term goals. One of the leading causes of divorce among young couples is a lack of a common vision of achievement. It's a discussion you can have right away. What does it mean to you to be successful? Are they in agreement? Author's Note: If you're thinking of starting a serious relationship with someone special, make sure you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. Your love is, after all, a gift. Don’t you want that gift going to someone who truly deserves it? Thank you dear sponsors! Check them out!! Lead.image: Edited in PicsArt.

Exposing my College Professors 04-07-22 | Eurydice Last night, I became so bored in one of our classes which made me decided to cut class. Yes, you read it right. I just finished my turn in answering the oral questions and left in the google meet afterwards. I just don't like the atmosphere as well as the situation that I'm into right now. Supposedly, as a fourth year college student, we should have our Practicum this sem. But our school decided to set aside the practicum and have a review classes for LET exam instead. Can you imagine? A teacher in the making without having a practicum or On the Job Training? What do I supposed to do? We're just like a puppet in our school. We don't have a choice since we are all scholars. We already made a complaint letter but the school didn't took it seriously. What else do I expect? Aside from that, I also experienced college instructors who are retiree from other schools. I mean, I have no problem with them, in fact, I love them. But I cannot deny that there were also times where I became disappointed with them. We are in the 21st century having a new curriculum. A new curriculum that needs highly competent teachers in all 21st century literacy skills. But how can we acquire those if our teachers themselves didn't even exert their best in dealing with technology. Mind you, I am not belittling my Professors. I do understand the fact that they are Traditional teachers from old curriculum, they also need to adjust but the thing is, is it always us to get the less minimum? I mean, we are a soon to be teacher and we should be handled and trained well. As a matter of fact, my confidence dropped to its lowest point believing that I am not yet a competent future educator. I say this because as I assessed myself, I still have a lot of lessons to review which were not clearly taught by our teachers. Exposing my college professors I have a college professor in First Year college who prefered to use calculator in calculating our grades. By the way, I think she's 75+ years old. I don't have a problem with calculators. But what I wanted to pursue is that, what if my teacher will mistakenly click the wrong number given that she's already old? It surely will affect our grades. The thing is, every time she shows our grades every term, our grades ranges from 72-85. Like? What? I am confident enough that my grades is way more high than that. I have proofs which were my exam and quiz papers, projects and such. But again, our concerns were still neglected by the school. The grades that I got from her really affected my scholarship. I also have a teacher in First year also who always mock us. She's also a retiree from other school and I think she's between 75-80 years old. Everytime we have a reporting, she will mock us over small things. For example, if her questions were not answered the way she wanted, she will call us "BOBO"/" Idiot". Like? Is that the teacher you wanted us to become? A teacher who will mock her students infront of their classmates? I also have a teacher who just give us so much activities in our google classroom without discussing it. As far as I remembered, he only used google.meet once and that was the first day of classes. After that, he was nowhere to be found and he will just leave something for us to do. I don't really like this kind of set-up. We should not be treated this way. I'm sorry for these rants early in the morning, I just can't get over it. Again, I am not belittling my professors, I just wanted to emphasized that our school must choose those teachers who can educate us to become a globally competitive learners around the world. Well, learning is an active process naman. I will just do self-learning instead. No choice. Thank you dear sponsors! Check them out!! ©Lead image is mine

ML Tournament Update: 2nd Placer + A letter for my teammates 04-06-22 | Eurydice When you lose a battle, you may discover a new strategy to win the war. After all, learning is about how we lose the game and how we've changed as a result of it, as well as what we take away from it that we didn't have before to apply to other games. In a strange way, losing is winning. As stated from my last blog, we were qualified to the semi-finals for our campus-wide Mobile Legends Tournament. This is how it went. The semi finals match began last night at 5:00 in the afternoon and we won again for semi-finals with a score of 2-0. We're so happy because finally, we are qualified to advance to the championship game. The Championship game started at 8:00 pm. Unfortunately, we lose 2 times which made us officially a second placer. My teammates and I got sad but we can't do anything about it. Maybe it's not our time yet. Our opponents were so good also and it seems like they studied our main heroes very well. We celebrated and praised one another's performances after the game. We may lose, but the lessons learned are priceless. In fact, I learned many things to my teammates especially when we are in the battlefield. These are just few. Unity A team's ability to work together is crucial. During the early games, one thing I noticed about our opponents was that they were not very cohesive and seemed to be playing without goals. Unlike them, my team insists on maintaining togetherness; if someone requires assistance, we must rush to their aid and rescue them from the enemy. Proper communication The importance of communication cannot be overstated. This was one of the reasons why we were able to win in early games. Our team leader was fantastic at analyzing the opponent's tactics. Aside from that, his voice carries a power that compels us to obey even the simplest of commands. We also gained a significant advantage by opening our mics in-game, since we were able to converse with one another more readily. Ability to adapt We're all unique. Our personalities and perspectives differ. To be honest, I can't deny that there were times when there were misunderstandings among the team members, particularly during practices. Small disagreements between one of my teammates and our team leader are common. But I'm glad that they became partners throughout our formal games and were able to adapt to each other's attitudes. **I will also grab this chance to thank my awesome teammates for a job well done.** To our main Fighter/Tank Thank you for being positive and for adjusting all the time. Even though you are a multi-role, you still chose to adjust and let us use the hero that we are good at. Thank you for doing your best in every games. Thank you for reminding us to keep fighting even if we are still going to lose. To our Main Marksman You're the kind of gamer who thinks things through. Thank you for always giving it your all. Thank you for making us laugh so hard that we forgot about the stress of losing. You're one of the best marksmen users I've ever met. To our Main Core You maybe gave us a little bit of stress at times, but you're still the best core user I know. Despite the fact that you were a newcomer to our team, you still made an effort to hang out with us. Dont ever think that you're a VV player. In fact, you're fantastic, especially when you use your seriousness and aggression. To our Main Mage To our "matampuhin" teammate, don't ever think that we didn't appreciate your efforts in every game. I appreciated your determination to succeed in each struggle we faced. We may not express it often enough, but please remember that we are ecstatic to have you in the team. (Looks familiar right? yes, he's a former read.cash user named @Gemini07 , pogi ba masyado? haha). To our Main Support (Yours Truly) Thank you self for doing your best even though you're not as good as your teammates. Thank you for accepting the challenge. To more experiences to come❤. I'm pleased with the results, but I'm also sad that we won't be able to form the same bond as we had before the tournament. I'll miss the times when we were able to play as a team. (Hays) Anyways, I just would like to thank Sissy @renren16 for the sponsorship renewal. Thank you sis❤❤ Thank you dear sponsors! Check them out! ©All images were mine ©Lead image is mine

ML Tournament Results: Advanced to Semi-Finals! 04-03-22 | Eurydice Goodmorning, pals.. How are you? Me? I had a very good sleep because we won in our first and second matches of our Mobile Legends Campus-wide Tournament last night which made us advanced to semi-finals. As I've been mentioning on my blog recently, I'm participating in an ML Tournament, which began yesterday night. It went out fairly nicely, but I can't deny that seeing our opponents gives me the chills. My TNT Sim has been without signal since yesterday. I'm extremely disappointed because I don't have any other option except to utilize my DITO Telecom and TM sim cards. Unfortunately, I was unable to play adequately due to excessive slowness and glitches that I encountered during the game. I told my teammates that I was experiencing severe latency and that I couldn't play well. Damage heroes are difficult for me to use because I am unable to assist them during a fight. I requested if I could instead be a support hero, and they agreed and supported me, making me feel secure despite the fact that I was lag. Supposedly, the game was scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. But because one of the opponent's members was not yet available, the first game began at 9:00 p.m. We decided to start the game because it was already late and their member was not yet available. Since the game is 5 vs 4, it was not too difficult for us to win. It's not our fault, because the game must continue; otherwise, we will urge disqualification. We started the game and effortlessly won. We waited for about 20 minutes for the 2nd game. Our second opponent is quite intimidating because they're so confident. They even told us that the majority of us are girls ***(the avatars of my teammates are their girlfriends. By the way, our team is composed of 1 girl which is me, 2 gays and 2 boys. Boys over flowers yarn? hahah).*** The game started and we lose for the first game. I'm so sad that time because we really did our best to win. Since it is a best of 3, we played again and we won. Our main core did well during the game. He became our MVP he used Baxia as our core. Our opponent invited us again for the final battle. Since we already know who are the heroes of other team, we made sure to ban their heroes. I am still their support which was Rafaela. I used Estes for the first game and Rafaela for the 2nd and 3rd game. Luckily, we won again and we are included to fight later for the semi-finals. The game ended at exactly 11:30 in the evening. It's late already but were are still very hyper since we can't believe that we won. I'm so proud of my team because they really did well during the battle. I'm also proud of myself also because I became the MVP for the 3rd game. Yey!!! As of now, we're waiting for the semi-finals match later at 5 pm. I'm still sad because my TNT sim still dont have a signal or even a bar. I am hoping that it will be fixed before 5 pm or else, I will be forced to use my DiTo or TM network again. Sadlife. But It's okay, I trust my teammates naman. I'm so proud to be in my Squad. "COMING TOGETHER IS A BEGINNING. KEEPING TOGETHER IS PROGRESS. WORKING TOGETHER IS SUCCESS" - Henry Ford Anyways, thank you for reading this blog of mine 💚💚 Take care. Wish us luck guys💚 Thank you dear sponsors! CHECK THEM OUT!! ©Lead image is mine.

Sorry Kitty. "We Love You, Goodbye" 04-01-22 | Eurydice *I woke up early today because of a loud voice coming from my sister. I immediately opened my eyes and I saw my older sister crying. I asked her why she's crying and then she replied, "the kitten is dead".* My father brought home a kitten yesterday from my mother's workplace. That kitten was abandoned by his owners at the guardhouse and my Mom got attached to the kitten since it is cute and pitiful. I think, that kitten is probaly 2-3 months old. She prefered to bring it home than to leave it beside the road. She's afraid that the kitten might be hit by the vehicles. As a cat lover family, we can't afford to abandon him that's why my parent's decided to adopt it. We took care of him, my older sister cleaned the kitten very well. She got all of his ticks. We fed him, played with him. We got attached to him in just a day. The night came, my father decided to let the cat sleep at our dirty kitchen because that cat has a diarrhea and we don't want our sala to get messy because of his wet poops. We are certain to let him sleep in the kitchen because it's safer since and it's not that cold there. We let him sleep at the hearth of our fireplace. I decided to sleep at 11 in the evening. Little did I know, in the middle of my peaceful sleep, our kitten was being played by our dogs outside our house. He went outside the kitchen for an unknown reason. We looked for a hole that the kitty might have dug as a way out of the kitchen. We discovered a little hole, which I believe is where our kitten escaped. My older sister was the who witnessed what happened. She told us that the kitten was played by our dogs and it was already dead when she found out where it was. She cried and cried because she can't imagine what the kitten has been through from that moment. Earlier this morning, my father was excited to see the kitten but he got sad when we told him the news that the kitten was dead. He blamed himself for suggesting the idea of leaving the kitten in the kitchen. My Mom comforted him that it's not his fault. It's no one's fault. We're just so sad that we're not able to wake up to save the kitten from our dogs. If only I can predict what happened, I will let that kitten inside our house and I will just be the one to clean his mess. If only., hayyysss. I'm still emotional at this moment because I can't imagine what that kitten have been through in that incident. I just closed my eyes and asked forgiveness to God and to our kitten. I can't help but to cry because as a Cat lover individual, that cat became very close to me even in just one day. That incident made us all aware that we should not let our cats to go outside because of our dogs. I really wanted to slap or kick our dogs but who am I to do that. Dogs were not human. They don't know what they are doing, they just followed their animal instinct. If there are someone to blame, well, it's us. Anyways, thank you for passing by. I just really wanted to release this pain through writing. Thank you dear sponsors. Check them out!! ©Lead image: https://vitapet.com/au/vitapet-central/articles/kitten-toilet-training/

Effective Strategies in Teaching Young Minds 03-31-22 | Eurydice As an aspiring teacher in the future, we were taught about the different strategies that we should use in teaching young children. One of the literacies that were taught to us last semester was all about Emergent Literacy. It is  is the term used to describe the reading and writing experiences of young children before they learn to write and read conventionally (Teale & Sulzby, 1986). For my co-writers in this platform who already have a child or even have a younger siblings, I hope that this article can help you to be guided on how to teach them effectively. This is purely based on my understanding from our discussions last year. Repetition It's not easy for a child to retain information in their minds that is why you have to teach them using repetition method. For an instance, you are going to teach your child about a specific word, you have to say the word first and allow them to repeat after you. This could make the children absorb and remember the words that you conveyed.. Systematic Exposure You must remember that a child's mind is full with concepts, and they can't keep a lot of information, causing them to forget the lesson you taught in a single day. You must teach your lesson to the youngster over and over again or every other day in order for the child to remember and store the knowledge that you planned to convey. For example, if you taught your child about basic colors yesterday, you should not teach them another lesson the next day directly, because they are likely to forget what they learned the day before. Instead, go over the previous lessons with them and make sure they remembered them. Don't rush things. Supported Play You need to exert extra effort in teaching young minds. This means that you have to become creative and resourceful. If you can act, sing or dance, do it! A child can learn easily especially if the one teaching them are creative, flexible, talented and skillful. For example, if you wanted to teach your child how to distinguish different fruits, you could be imaginative and play the role of a fruit salesman offering your child fruits. Because you were able to design a scenario that could excite the child's thinking, this could pique the child's curiosity. It's important to keep in mind that remembering is a learned talent. The more experiences you have, the better you will be able to remember them. Explicit Reading Reading stories to children is one of the most effective strategies you can use to help them develop their listening and comprehension abilities. When reading children's stories to them, it's important to read them clearly and with a lot of emotion. Aside from that, you must also explain each line from the story so that the kids may understand and appreciate the story's thoughts and ideas. You must remember that children do not have a large vocabulary, which causes them to be perplexed over simple words. For example, you're reading the story of Cinderella. Then you'll say "Cinderella went inside the palace". You should not stop there, . You need describe what a palace looks like and why Cinderella stepped inside it. Scaffolding This is the famous strategy that was mostly used by every individual in teaching a child. In scaffolding, you need to assist your child in learning. You must teach them how to do things but you should not spoonfeed them at the same time. For instance, if you're teaching a child how to add, you have to give assistance. Use your fingers and let the child solve the equation using those. If it is 5-2, you have to open your 1 hand and let him/her count your fingers. After counting, tell the child to subtract 2 fingers and ask him/her how many fingers left. That's how scaffolding works, you're ou're somewhat guiding a child for a common goal. Multi-Sensory Teaching Multisensory instruction is a method of teaching that involves multiple senses at the same time. Using sight, hearing, movement, and touch to connect with what they're learning. Using clay is one of the hobbies that you can engage in. Instruct your child to make objects out of clay. This activity will encourage children to use their senses while also allowing them to enjoy and learn. Use of Environmental Prints For many emerging readers, environmental print serves as a bridge between letters and their first attempts at reading. Adults can benefit from all of this print by utilizing it to discuss letters, words, and print. For instance, everytime you go to Jollibee, expose your child by teaching him the logo of Jollibee. Time will come, everytime you pass in that establishment, the child will naturally recognize and read that it is a Jollibee Establishment just by seeing it's logo and text. "Teaching children at their young age will help them develop their emergent literacy skills that could make them knowledgeable in the future. If your child was exposed to words, letters and prints, they are more likely to adjust easily in school and even become a topnotcher in the future." -author Thank you dear sponsors. Never Have I Ever: Dating Edition (2) 03-28-22 | Eurydice CONTINUATION..... **Click** for part 1. https://read.cash/@Eurydice/never-have-i-ever-dating-edition-1-9c6ce48b ~~PRETENDED TO GET A CALL/TEXT TO LEAVE A DATE~~ Never. I'm a straightforward individual. Telling the truth is preferable to lying. If I'm uncomfortable with my date, I'm not going to invent excuses just to get it over with. And I don't believe it will ever happen to me. Why would I agree to go on a date with someone I dislike? ~~HAD FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS~~ Never. I dislike the concept of being with someone who does not have a label. What if you fall madly in love with that person? What if that person meets someone better than you and refuses to say goodbye because you lack the authority to stop him? Based on the Filipino film No Other Woman, Anne Curtis, who was the mistress, fell in love with Derek, who was already married. They assumed their relationship would be limited to Friends with Benefits, but it was more than that; Ann had fallen passionately in love with Derek and desired to steal him from his wife. Anne's life became a living hell as a result of it. It made me realize that FWB is not beneficial at all. If you have time, try to watch it. ~~SLEPT WITH SOMEONE ON THE FIRST DATE~~ I have never. Sorry, I'm not easy to get. Simple as that. USED A DATING APP I have! I used NearGroup before (I know you're familiar with this one). You can find it in Messenger Application. It's like a dating bot. However, I just tried this one not to find a date or Boyfriend. I just tried it because I'm bored and I wanted to have fun. I know that I'm not just the only one doing this. I just really wanted to kill time. Another thing, I'm not a type of person who fill find a date online. I already mentioned in the First part of this blog, trust no one. ~~BEEN UNFAITHFUL~~ I've never done it before. My boyfriend and I have made a commitment to each other. I don't want to give him any excuses to abandon me. Other than that, he's far too sweet and nice to deceive. That brings us to the end of the challenge. I apologize for being a little rushed today because we have a practice for our ML tournament this coming Sunday. By the way, can I invite those ML players at read.cash to play a game? Please don't be shy about leaving a comment for your IGN. As soon as I see your comment, I'll start following you. Let's have a good time:). THANK YOU MY HANDSOME SPONSORS! CHECK THEM OUT!!
