Five months old with a Badge

Yaaay, thank God I did noticed this on Tuesday on my profile. Early in that morning, I was still seeing "User for Four Months" until later in the afternoon, it changed to "User for Five Months". That was when I could track the actual date I came here. It was on the 6th of February, 2021 (Five months journey and still counting).

I was just so happy throughout this week because I got to know more and thanks to @McAdeleye who inspired me to write something and my achievement here. Wait, I have written something like this before but there are some things I just knew from Monday to Wednesday.

Can you see the badge beside my profile? I know most of you would have seen it and McAdeleye also came to ask what was the badge all about, thank God I was able to give an answer after I knew about it too. From who? How?

I have forgotten the article I read from and she said something about getting to owning a badge here, I was curious and I asked in the comment what must one do to achieve that?

@Jane came by to give me the response and made me to know it was on my profile. So, I have been checking my profile all these days and I never knew I have a badge. Though prior to that time, I always see the golden badge on Jane's profile but I thought it was one of the emoji she included in her profile that we were finding it difficult to tag her name. 😆

When she replied my comment, I went to check my profile and she even said to own that, you must be among the top 50 tipper here.

I quickly remembered sometimes ago on Noisecash when @KennieKing came to tell me I was among the top 50 tippers on Read.cash. I got confused and asked him to fetch me the link to confirm it. I went straight to check and I saw it but I do not know how to check next time to keep track of it.

Then I flashed back to when I was on Uptrennd then, there was this leaderboard of all active users. Most times I will see myself on the top 10 active users on the platform and this will always give me goosebumps and motivation to keep being active and working hard at least to get to the first active user on the leaderboard.

After some weeks, I had to push myself to meet @Fexonice1 and asked him how do I check if I am among the top tippers and he gladly helped me out.

It's just by clicking on any badge you see on the platform and voila I saw it and met my name among the tipper. Yesterday I was monitoring it and I was on number 26.

I checked others and decided to do more tipping so I can go up the more. I like involving in healthy competition as this is a way of motivating myself.

I checked again when I wanted to sleep last night, having visited posts. I was in number 24.

I went to sleep happy within me, telling myself tomorrow is another day.

Do you know tipping others some cents is like helping yourself and the platform?

I have been tipping before I saw this post and after reading this article titled "The power of tipping" by @immaryandmerry

I was enlightened more on how tipping is so powerful and also helping the growth of this platform and ourselves too. It's not a must to tip every posts with higher cents, small cents also has its own value. When we appreciate people's posts and tip them, we aren't favoring the person alone, but yourself too and this is used to manage Read.cash.

I am glad I have achieved and accumulated many Bch. Since five months, I have been able to gather more than 1BCH but spent part on myself.

Yesterday, I got another 1 bch but I had to spend part for my younger brother who is processing his admission. He will be going to school by August, and he needs to get all his documents ready.

Some of them, he will have to go to our hometown to get them, so I decided to convert some Bch for fiat so as to support his movement. We are also gathering money for his school fees and other things he will be buying.
