My wife tested positive for Covid-19, so now all I can do is wait it out. This means double exposure for me since my co-worker tested positive this past Tuesday, and my wife started feeling ill on Friday. Good to see the warehouse guy back to work even if it is a double edged sword. If you have been following me you are aware that he had Covid last Friday. Keep it in mind that when you are earning interest on your cryptocurrency in in-kind coins, the interest you are paid may be calculated in dollars, but is paid in more coins. So, in that sense, every thing you earn in interest today is worth much more in the future regardless of today's price. Tomorrow morning we have a new gas stove being delivered between 7am and 11am. I will be up at 5am in order to get myself situated even though how these windows usually work. They will likely show up at 10:59am. But I will be ready nonetheless.
I love it when you play the multi-state lottery online and you get that little tease. I checked this morning and someone won the latest MegaMillions worth over $400 million. I thought, seeing the "you have won" notification...could this be it? Could this be the one? Did I win the big loot? Only to find that what I won was $2. lol
I guess it would be a bit remiss of me, after talking about getting a new stove this morning, to not share pictures of it. The first pictures are the old one, and the final pictures are the new one. I won't be using the oven just yet since I need to cook it off for two hours before I use it. I will do that tomorrow. But I am definitely giving the stove top a go tonight. Onward and upward.
I know I sound like a broken record sometimes. But of course it is Sunday, and that means back to work tomorrow. I am just going to say I am tired of working and tired of being tied down by jobs. Decisions need to be made very soon. I simply do not want to do it anymore.
It seems pending tips is stuck again. Second time I have seen that in a week or so where one is way past the designated payout amount, but the payout has not occurred. Anyone else experiencing this?
Whenever we get Chinese food they toss handfuls of sauce packets into the bag with our food. Tons of soy sauce packets and sweet and sour sauce packets. Most people just throw this stuff away if they do not use it. Not me. I open each packet and dump them into bottles and jars. I got one entire bottle of soy sauce out of it, and one entire jar of sweet and sour sauce out of it. Cost if I would have bought these in the store? $4. So, by saving the packets and putting them…
While I do not often side with Canada, I side with the Canadian truckers in their protest against Covid-19 vaccine mandates imposed by Prime Minister Trudeau. The rest of the world, especially parts of the world where governments maintain power and control over their people, can learn a lesson in the power of the PEOPLE to stand up AGAINST tyrannical rule and tell their governments to pound sand.
We have gotten to a point lately where a lot of things are being labeled as "misinformation," when in reality, what it actually is, is simply a difference of opinion. We need to be careful about not only the way we characterize things, but also how quickly we are willing to accept that there can only be one opinion that is right.
