Keep it in mind that when you are earning interest on your cryptocurrency in in-kind coins, the interest you are paid may be calculated in dollars, but is paid in more coins. So, in that sense, every thing you earn in interest today is worth much more in the future regardless of today's price. The amount of coins you receive is the same even if the dollar value associated is less.
