SeaSalt Making is Teaching Me Patience As I gazed at the vast horizon, I remember feeling an excitement mixed with curiosity—could the same seawater be transformed into salt? "Could it turn into a salt for food flavouring or beauty products?" I wondered. Trusting my gut, I decided, "Oh well! Let me try, and even if it doesn't work, at least I'll know." So this is how it all started.... *****WHEN CURIOSITY STRUCK***** https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/seasalt-making-is-teaching-me-patience-ec292690#when-curiosity-struck On weekends, we usually swim at our favourite spot in Au Cap, but this time we took the boat. Instinct nudged me to visit Il Soleil, just 3-5 minutes away. As we sailed towards the beachside of Il Soleil, the crystal-clear water always caught my eye. We basked in the serenity of the surroundings, spending a few hours enjoying relaxing family time. I told my husband that if we could sail near the rift, I could have clean water. He asked what I would do with it. I simply told him I needed it but couldn’t tell him what I would make out of it. The simple reason is that I am NOT so sure of what I will be doing as well. My brain processed it in a way that there’s no way that video could be real and that perhaps it’s a hack. Anyhow, I managed to gather at least 1.6 litres of seawater for the sake of my curiosity. *My logical brain always says there’s no way it could turn into salt because when water is boiling, it will eventually evaporate. "Whether it's water coming from the sea, when it reaches its boiling point, it will evaporate!"* You know, somehow my scientifically limited brain understood. But still out of curiosity, I pursued and continued the process. As I was boiling it, in the first hour, no significant changes occurred. Of course, what am I expecting? My brain was annoying me, saying, “See, I told you, you’re just wasting the gas for nothing!” But then my heart (my instinct, my gut feeling) persistently and patiently nudged me, “Keep it boiling until the evaporation state!” At this moment, my mother and I had a pretty much general conversation on the phone that I almost forgot I was even boiling seawater until a poke in my head reminded me of it. *“Oh, wait, Mama, I’m actually making salt!”* You would expect her to be laughing, thinking I was being silly, and I jokingly told her, “Oh well, I just got curious about making salt naturally and organically.” So we kind of talked about the increase in salt price in the market, and it would help a bit if we could make our own. Imagine a cost-cutting of the fundamental food ingredients across the world. And I am talking about an ORGANIC, NATURAL way, like no machinery! You can’t imagine the AHA moment I got and the excitement I felt when finally the time I was waiting for... “Would I see those crystalline-like salts for real out of seawater? Lo and behold... *****SALT MAKING IS TEACHING ME PATIENCE.***** https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/seasalt-making-is-teaching-me-patience-ec292690#salt-making-is-teaching-me-patience Around 6:30 in the early morning, we went back to Il Soleil to gather 12 litres of seawater. We went to the other side because it’s cleaner; besides, there's nobody swimming just yet. This time we took the car because it’s more convenient to drive back. The water we gathered was nearly at the shoreline, on the rocky side, due to the high tide. We have to go to the nearby market for fresh vegetables and come back home around 10:45 am. Exactly at 11 a.m. I started the salt making. Would you believe that at nearly 2:30 pm, the salt finally came to life! Seeing the beauty of its natural and organic ocean components, I am still so mesmerised by how it turned out to be salt. *This is a mere simple science for many, but for me?* *This is gold...this is treasure...* *this is healing...this is PATIENCE.* Making salt from fresh seawater is teaching me that there’s beauty in the waiting. There’s beauty in the knowing of seeing things in a broader perspective. That I am not waiting in vain because surely I know deep within I could see the salt, or the result of my persistence, patience and inner strength. *****What’s the rationale?***** https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/seasalt-making-is-teaching-me-patience-ec292690#whats-the-rationale When curiosity strikes, I know from my gut feeling that I have to do something. This is my way of healing. This is honouring my guide within me. My spiritual journey has helped me process how my inner strength knows that I am so blessed beyond measure. *Imagine God/the universe has given us everything, nature for FREE, and yet we are still paying for it? If only we spent time being more curious and questioning things that are NOT made naturally or organically, instead of simply buying them from the shops, maybe our world could be less harmful and less toxic.* https://youtu.be/W2oYgHfWrxU?si=acwv3AMmQF-yoHPX The thought that the universe/God put me in Seychelles; at least the seawater is crystal clear and clean here – there’s no harm! Then you will expect that starting today, I will not buy any salt from the shops if I can make it myself. My mother mentioned how incredible it was to see that salt out of seawater and asked how I did it when I had shown her the right way during our video call. As we ended our conversation, her “organic salt process journey” will also be one of her main goals. And oh, I also started my skincare routine where aloe vera is my main ingredient... Appreciate your comments! support and any other means we connect!

Heartbreaking Travel Experience in India: Annual Family Trip Overseas "Life is uncertain, face your fears and just travel" This has been my mantra even back during COVID times, when so many restrictions were taken for travelling overseas. Fast forward to the present day, I could say that the universe has been pouring out abundance to me and to my family, so that we could grow and explore the world, living outside our comfort zone in Seychelles. I made it my goal and am truly grateful that God gave me this opportunity to travel ***2-3 times a year***, during my term break as a state school teacher. *****Serene and Relaxing Stay at Pushp Vatika Resort and Lawn (Panvel)***** We arrived early on the 11th of August at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. We were not so familiar with the place, and a 1 and half drive might be a challenging journey, so we waited until 7 am to book a taxi from the airport. There were plenty of taxi services available. You can freely choose whom you think you can make a good bargain with; however, for me personally, haggling in a fair way was always better. For example, if the charge was 2000rs, I would gladly give an extra tip of 300rs to the driver. This has been true until we left India, and I must say that the universe is really ABUNDANT. Our check-in was after lunch, and quite early enough; we waited for an hour at the reception desk for the statement on the room we booked to be available by that time. We stayed on the lawn side, where I could feel the nature of the resort. I was totally amazed that the Panvel area (New Panvel) was still surrounded by greenery, and the resort lived up to its description that it's indeed a relaxation area to start with. Mostly locals are staying at the resort. We were so impressed that within the week of our stay, it was also India's 15th Independence Day celebration. The resort was jampacked with people, local music was being played, while we were listening to the live performance, one of the staff approached me to ask if there was a particular Indian song I wanted to play, and what came to my mind was "Jai Ho", a long-time movie about a guy who won millions, entitled "Slumdog Millionaire" We were going out every day, and booking a cab/rickshaw was more convenient, so getting a local SIM was necessary. So we went to Orion Mall, yet to my surprise, they don't have any telecommunication office that sells SIMs inside the not even banks. We had to go out and look for an Airtel service centre outside. *****Haggle in a fair way!***** The tuk-tuk driver reminded me so much of what my late father told me: "It's pure joy for drivers to receive extra tips despite the regular fare!" At once when I was waiting for my sim activation, my brain told me, "500rs would be fair to give him!" i knew it might be a bit too much somehow but as he's driving us back to the resort where we stayed, considering the situation that making an income for a day would always be a challenging one, we asked him if he could dropped us straight to the reception area as it was also raining and giving him 1000rs instead was pure joy and bliss! Money is behavioural, and the universe loves to give us more abundance when we ourselves are ready to give. I felt like the amount was kind enough to share with him. I asked if I could take a photo with him, and he gladly permitted. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to give extra! We stayed for a week at Pusph Vatika resort. Not only did Sage enjoy the pool, but I felt so drawn into the atmosphere of giving more. Every time we went out, either with a cab or a tuk-tuk, I was always ready with my change of 50, 100, 200 Rs! If not to double but triple the tips! *"I felt it in my veins, telling the universe that I TRUST your abundance, that I wanted to share it with those who won't be able to give me back! It felt good without any doubt!* A LADY TUK-TUK DRIVER: It was our second time in India, but it never occurred to me that a woman would drive a tuk-tuk. Personally, driving it for a living was truly masculine, but Jothi ( she eventually became a friend that day) didn't mind at all How we met her was truly a blessing. It was raining hard while we were shopping for some items. Due to the weather, tuk-tuk drivers were just a bit challenging to drive us back to the resort. While my husband was looking for a tuk-tuk, I saw her next to the eye clinic waiting for passengers. We had eye contact, and I knew we had to ask her to drive us back to where we stayed. She said 200rs! I said, "Let's go!" While on the road, we talked a bit, and she's apprehensive about how the road was. I told her it was fun somehow! The distance from where she took us was around 5-8km! As soon as we arrived at the resort, we asked to wait for 5 minutes as we needed to put all our items in the room, and she had to bring us back where she took us, which means another 200 rs and then from there, another 5km or shorter, she has to bring us to Orion Mall to get my MacBook done! From those trips, 700 RS was fair enough! The next day, we decided to go to Seawoods Grand Central for my luxurious full-body massage, and walked in at Myo Thai Spa! I have to emphasise the word "luxurious" due to the fee of 4896Rs! I remembered Vishen Lakhiani from his talk on the Power of Expectancy, that regardless of how much we earn, we need to set aside at least 10% for our OWN Kind of luxury, by which having a spa/massage was always my go-to when travelling overseas. I booked through the OLA app, and our Ola Cab driver, on a 21.7 km distance fare, was only 459 rupees. My brain told me it's not fair, hence my heart gave 800rs! We asked him to pick us up where he dropped us instead of taking another Ola Cab, so for the whole duration of the trip, we paid 1600 Rs instead of 459x2! What's my simple point? Money is behavioural, and it has to flow. I was so touched by the Power of Expectancy (Mindvalley) when Vishen talked about it. The same message I wanted to tell the universe through that travel overseas, I AM READY, no matter what. My brain and heart coherence spoke ONENESS in the language of gratitude that it is with great privilege and happiness in giving, sharing extra to anybody with whom we were in connection whenever we travelled. ***I never and will NEVER bargain with locals because I feel their financial burden, and bargaining at a low price is never my thin*** https://youtu.be/pWW_sVH9cRg?si=5pW0cp-aQcRMqnBn You can check more of me here https://cointr.ee/sagepat_designscape

"Life happens for you." This was the statement of Sara Al Madani, a serial entrepreneur from the Middle East, and what resonated the most with me was the simple thought that everything we are going through is for our own growth and development. I couldn't be more convinced that in this life's journey of duality, we have to experience pain in order to gain. This is what I mean... When I prayed to God for "patience" ( irony of it all, I am a teacher), He put me in a very challenging situation where my patience was thoroughly tested. As if God were telling me, "My child, if you want patience, here's your husband and your super-duper-witty but annoying 4-year-old boy" to give you what you asked for. I thought He would just sprinkle pixie dust so that life could be much easier, but nah, I need to undergo the process of "patience" by being able to breathe in and out when I feel like a bomb ready to explode.... Oh no, if I write further, I will just express my anger and my annoyance. Kidding aside.. But yeah, I guess this is my entry coming back to read.cash.. How are you all, beautiful people of the cryptoverse?

@PatsKy8135

How do you define authenticity? Do you think it even matters in a world where it is mostly generated with Artificial Intelligence? Such a chaotic and confusing phenomenon we are living in right now but one thing I am sure about myself is that being #AUTHENTIC about what is TRUE for me would always lead me to the right track. As Tom Bilyeu said, owner of Impact Theory, "FOCUS on what is #EMPOWERING to you!"

Soul Seeker, Nomadic Teacher: Explore and make the World your Classroom Have you just had the best time of 2023 and are excited about what's coming ahead of your narratives? Are you able to commemorate 2022 with full of authenticity and simply told yourself, damn "I made it" until to date?  Taking into account how crazy it has been but with steadfast determination to travel in between, at least thrice a year, so delighted that I managed to unlock my Genius Level 3 with a 20% discount on all of my flights, hotels, renting cars, airport taxis from bookingDotcom. *****Genius Level 3 ( BookingDotcom) Unlock*****  *Travelling is not just a relaxing way to learn the world and makes it our classroom, but it is also a gateway towards unlocking my Genius Level 3.*  Though I have been travelling often pre and post-pandemic, it never occurred to me that I can earn miles and eventually use them for my next flight. Hotels are my main consideration although friends offered their place (through Couchsurfing) there are times that I wanted to do things my way.  So when I checked my booking.com account, I needed 15 stays within two years to level up for a lifetime 20% discount apart from the perks of the "upgrade." Checked-in went smoothly as well. At some point, they would just say, "***you have been "upgraded ma'am, enjoy your stay***." Kindly note that when a receptionist says the magic word, ***"Upgrade***", rest assured the view would always be stunning (well as from my experience so far) How cool right? I thought that levelling up would be difficult but the notion of being given extra was more captivating than merely going back to zero. So instead of staying for the whole week or two in one hotel, I divided it into four if not five stays to complete the goal. *****ME-TIME is Crucial Overseas on the New Year of 2023***** *Since 2019, I always spent my New Year at the airport if not with my husband and my baby, I did it myself, ALONE. Whoever said that spending New Year alone would be lonely because you needed to be with your family, well for me it's, self-actualization.* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fFVvLboNeM Cultural indoctrination about holidays to be spent with your loved ones is not my cup of tea any longer. Living abroad gave me the freedom to spend my New Year wherever I want. Gone are the days that I have to follow traditions blindly by which I felt I was totally betrayed if not cheated. What's the difference anyway? So there were times that spending alone in the hotel was really my happiest moment, fantasizing about the idea of ME-TIME was totally an exciting event in my life. Anyhow the best view I have ever had when I was in Abu Dhabi was at Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham Hotel. I truly love the busy streets at night as well as during the day facing the seafront of Corniche Park. If I got bored a bit, I would just grab my pair of sneakers and took a brisk walk in the Corniche area. How simple life is when we emerged ourselves in the beauty of nature actually. Likewise, whenever I got hungry, I would simply check a nearby coffee shop and ordered this delicious Mozarella pizza with Turkish coffee for a tiny fee of 20 AED. And then going back to the hotel to continue my momentum of sipping my tea, reflecting my what has happened in my life after so many challenges, I have done myself the best outlet by living in the moment of what I call my ME-TIME overseas. It was so crucial for my growth despite having my three-year-old kid left with his dad's care.  *****I am a Soul Seeker, a Nomadic Teacher hence I would encourage everyone to Explore and make the world your Classroom.***** *When I say soul seeker, what I meant truly is to try to find the lesson of every PAINFUL experience for LEARNING and GROWTH*. **The death of my father, the conflict of interest with my own family, even marital crisis, and pressures at work added to the fact that I am struggling with how to be the best mom to my child, I would admit I've reached that so-called "*******mid-life crisis"*****  There were times when I really do NOT know what to do anymore but my spiritual awakening helped me push through with life. I have listened to a podcast and even went through counselling with my husband (our marital crisis also joined in) I have learned how to detach myself from what is not AUTHENTIC to me anymore. That's when I came across the book of Dr Shefali on Radical Awakening that I could not believe what I heard from her viral wisdom much more when I flew to the Middle East to buy her book as one of my purposes ( for some reason amazon declined to ship it to Seychelles) and I knew from my inner being that I need to read the book. I felt like it was my lifeline I could not understand why. ***My soul led me into something unknown when I also faced my brutal truth of emotional downpour hoping that things would work the way I wanted them to but reality struck like lightning that it was out of my fantasy.***  *****What's the Rationale?***** I am a teacher by profession and I like my job sharing with my students how social and emotional literacy can have a pivotal role in their being yet I do not limit myself to the four corners of my classroom per se. I knew from the core being of myself that exploring the bigger version of it which I call the "WORLD of the Unknown" will give me lessons for my growth and development.  Travelling is one of the ways I feel that I can truly be authentic with myself and I love how other cultures from different perspectives gave me a sense of appreciating more of what I have and where I am in my life *****NOW...ready to>>>Learn,>> Evolve and GROW***** My soul is truly seeking not only my substance but my essence where my being is a yearning on activating my inner power and I would like to quote the statement of Dr Shefali from her book on Radical Awakening which says, " ***true healing always involves a full-on acknowledgement of our pain***." ***How did you deal with your most excruciating life ordeal?*** ** Let's connect>>https://cointr.ee/patjules images are mine edited on Canva https://odysee.com/%24/embed/%40PatSky2783%3A4%2FBitcoinCashprintOuts%3Ad *If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*

The Legend of Fonta Vox: Episode 2: The Only Way Out! **ohhhh noooooo, helllllllllllppppppppppp"**  ***I felt like I was time-warped back into my world.*** ***That strong force I could not fathom where and how it happened.*** Until.... *"Come on Miyaki, we need to take a group picture,  let's have some fun!"* Nahomie and Satsuki were already enjoying the beach with our other friends Saiha, Maduka, and Sakuragi while I on the other hand still in a very pensive mood, trying to figure out what just happened. It seemed I lost track of time, so I decided to join the group. Just a night back I was listening to a podcast about *****Fonta Vox Ep**********.1***** and right thereafter I was timed warp into another dimension. Weird! Just so strange and nobody in his right senses would believe me. Arrgggghh! https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/the-legend-of-fonta-vox-lets-get-lost-into-her-dimensional-world-7acf0e6c After spending some time with my friends, I decided to go back to the hotel that day, so I could start planning what to do. What have I gotten myself into?  I was on my way when... "*Ms. Miyaki, one of the guests would want to speak with your father Mr. Lee Kwan.*  ***He has a complaint.****"* informed one of the receptionists. *"Complaint? about what?"* *shoot I'm not good at this!* My family owned the *Trenndstar's Hotel* near the beachside area of Fujiyama, one of the busiest tourist destinations in Osaka, however much to my father's surprise, I don't want to run the business as my passion is on writing thus opted to go for my further study on ***English Literature at Tidus University,*** where I did not tell anybody at school about my family but simply told them, I lived with my grandparents. I have to lie purposely. My mother and my sister understood my decision yet my father Mr. Lee Kwan, hard as steel could not accept it when I told him I disdain to work for our family business. Visiting them that day was unfortunate as they're out of town and I'm left to handle if there's a need arises. *Tsk Tsk, I will deal with the guest myself Yuna, and informed we will discuss this at my favorite place. You know where it is!"* **I reluctantly told her.** *As you wish Ms. Miyaki!"* After exactly fifteen minutes of waiting, I was dumbfounded. I could not believe what my eyes have seen. No, it couldn't be him. It's merely a coincidence. As soon as he showed up, **we were locked into each other's eyes.** **He came closer with that authoritative persona, I find it overwhelming. I waited for him to speak as I could not find my voice instead. Heck, I thought I could handle complaints. I composed myself. *Yes, Mr....how may I help you!"* ***I tried to be professional.*** "Drop the formalities. There's no other way out Miyaki!" he looked at me so strangely yet compassionately. As if I am hypnotized by his spell.  "You need to marry me! NOW!"he put his hands in his pocket, trying to weigh the situation, and stared at my clueless, confused face. "Marry who??? You must be eating some sea urchins, you don't know what you are saying. Look Mr. Whoever You Are, I don't have time for this joke. My job is my priority and nothing else." ***Besides I have a boyfriend, here see this, look we're engaged!"***  **I lied about having that boyfriend part just to let this man know I am not buying his statement whatever. Showing him a picture of my friend ***Saiha*** on his guitar while we did practice for our English Literature class. ***Holy Cow! marriage was never part of my vocabulary.*** *I know Mayurka has talked to you and convinced me to go back to Fonta Vox. I love that Kingdom, it's where Mayumi and I used to spend our childhood days together.  But my time there is over.* ***I have to be where I should be."***  **He looked at me with that persuasive eyes, I felt lost in it. I tried to stay on track. Brace yourself Miyaki. *I'm sorry Mr. Arrogant, I CAN NOT and WON'T MARRY YOU!*  For Christ's sake, I just met you today, as in TODAY, like hello!" **I wanted to call the security guards. The nerve of this guy. He may be charming and good looking but I don't think I would want to marry someone of his caliber. For the record, **I am Miyaki Lee Kwan, an @heiress to my father's fortune, and would not fall for this crap! Shoot, I was blushing out of anger!** *You're part of this now Miyaki. When you decided to time warp to* *****Fonta Vox,***** *that's when you started being part of the journey. I'm sorry but you can't go back now. The soonest we got married the better for both of us!"*  **Suddenly, he gladly wrapped me in his arms and passionately sealed it with a kiss, I could not resist. Darn! We were so drawn into the moment of kissing when... *Sorry to disturb you guys, but we don't have much time. Save it later after the wedding. Prinsipe Tarius and Miyaki we have to go. Hurry, hold me. AFT(Annual Family Travel) Visited Dubai in August 2022 *****LIFE is so Uncertain so Face your Fears and just Travel!***** https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/life-is-so-uncertain-so-face-your-fears-just-travel-abu-dhabi-adventure-20222-0db752bd Our travel to the Middle East was another adventure that I would always thought of as a life-changing experience. My goal to level up for my Genius Level at booking_dot_ com was what I am looking forward to. Given the opportunity to be able to travel even pre and post-pandemic, I must say I am so grateful and blessed. It may not be my first time in Dubai yet this country amazed me to the hilt. I was in Abu Dhabi in December of last year however Dubai brought so many splendored things an Arabian Peninsula can offer. Let me start with my two main experiences in Dubai that I tried to control yet couldn’t do anything about it because the temptation was so strong when it came to…. *****Shopping Spree at DCC (Deira City Center)***** I guess Seychelloises' blood and nature on a holiday were always "shopping" whenever they were out of their country, hence, going to Dubai most of the time was the most convenient option. Apart from Mauritius which was 2 and half hours flight, shopping in Dubai was the next best thing. As an experience of working in the Middle East, August if not December were the best month for shopping. Why? Due to the mega sale that could go insanely so affordable even with 100AED could get you shoes, bags, shirts, perfumes and anything you fancy when it came to apparel. You can also get a voucher worth at least *40 AED should you purchase 500 AED at RedTag specifically!* "*****Brands for Less*****" was by far my favourite LOL! I like their tagging when it came to branding. *Keep your standards HIGH and your spending LOW!* Managed to buy my Cherry Blossoms perfume only for 9AED! Fair enough right? rather than the 300AED! tsk tsk! Glad that buying Sage’s essentials and necessities for his upcoming creche at the International School would mean that school bags, lunch bags and pencil cases all animated much more it can be purchased at a reasonable price. Apart from the items bought, their sales representatives were the best in terms of giving service so I opted to stay at the shop to buy all that I needed for Sage! I think the best part was when she asked, *“Maam, what else do you need?* *What about this? Would it fit?* *I think this one is the better option!”* Couldn’t be more thankful that our shopping was hassle-free checking for items that we truly need. Assistance was highly appreciated when shopping for toddlers' kinds of stuff. Adding up together it would go down to 572 AED which was around 2232 SCR! I am the financial planner of my household so based on my computation it exceeded our daily spending of at least 200! And so I thought I am done with shopping. "What about spending 300AED all for perfumes?" ***Princess, smell this? For you all 5 boxes for 200?!*** Hmmm, the marketing strategy of that guy who sold us those boxes of perfumes was quite good! I told my husband the endearment "princess" worked effectively! Lol! He won’t let us go unless we spent what we have! Even upon writing, remembering the 8 boxes of perfumes all for 300 AED still a question I kept on asking myself, ***was it even worth it?!*** Patrick loved the ***Arabian-Paris-touch-fresh-from-the Expo2022-made from the UAE Arabic perfume*** so I obliged yet I won’t deny the fact that I don’t think it was so practical to buy those items. *****Remember at Brand for Less where my Cherry Blossoms cost only 9AED?***** I mean in Dubai you can bargain with so many things when it came to perfume but since he adored the way the guy presented those things, he doesn’t bother at all that our total spending of 200 daily was now part of history! *****Hotel Hopping for Genius Level 3 (Booking_dot_com)***** When we travelled to Abu Dhabi in October last year and Mauritius in April this year later did I realize that I could have maximized my stay to level up to Genius level 3 for a 20% lifetime discount. I made it my goal to travel annually with Sage and Patrick, likewise, a solo adventure for myself as my ME-TIME to relax from the workplace, I could have achieved by now the 15 maximum stays within two years to be able to level up! Usually, our travel of two weeks maximizing it into 5 would have been 15 all in for three times travelling since 2021! When we went to Mauritius, I managed to book 3 stays and the rest were two! added to the one we just had in Dubai for 15 days which got me 7 stays, now I am left with three more. Considering the two weeks but the most adventurous one knowing that every three days, we have to pack to transfer hotels. *Sage on the other hand had been very helpful when it came to our hotel transfer because he tried to carry his luggage with 10kg in it and I can see that he’s very much apt into travelling at an early age.* `By the way, you may ask why I used booking dot com when Travala is already existing and you can pay using cryptocurrency? I realized that when you book hotels, so far by experience, booking_dot_com is the go-to website and no further questions were asked apart from the reservation number! I have made an inquiry regarding the Travala website and by far what they acknowledge is mostly booking_dot_com.` This may refer to hotel basis hopefully in the next years to come the transitioning of hotel booking as well as payment will be integrated with cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin Cash as a Mode of Payment. *****What’s the Rationale? ( oh Don't forget to give TIPS too)***** Travelling is a form of education that you can learn from a real-life experience, and probably go out of your comfort zone. How you immerse yourself to be able to see the grandeur of the world so you can truly understand how culture from another perspective can truly be an amazing place. The narrative of our adventure especially in the other country can be transformed into a more happy and fulfilled framework for our lives. Are we not supposed to take the risk? Lewis Howes once said in one of his podcasts, that " we have to be “*****intentional*****” with our *****life goals!"***** Being able to travel during pre and post-pandemic gave me a transcendental outlook that life is really so uncertain and we just had to face our fears! so just travel! I would admit it was quite scary. Extra precautions especially in crowded places as wearing masks are still mandatory in Abu Dhabi yet in Dubai it’s freer. Hotels and airline prices also skyrocketed however I was so determined to *****find my way back into recalibrating my life's goal*****. I am more convinced now despite the expenses I incurred in my bank account and my so-called social experiment of giving tips to anybody on the road because I felt like giving and it's fulfilling! The joy of seeing those people when you gave them tips was more than enough to work hard the next time so I can share a few of my financial blessings with them. For example, the taxi driver, the cleaner, the receptionist, and the pool guard, the waiter at the restaurant, the room boy who helped us with our luggage, therefore agree with Zen Master Ken Honda when he wrote, https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidrae/2019/06/24/happy-money-lessons/?sh=60bb3a902f13 ***If you are going to save money, save it while you imagine the many fun ways to spend it.!*** Of course, apart from saving, investing your money is also a wiser option. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lK9_P9kw-6M ** Compiled our Dubai Holiday here https://odysee.com/@PatSky2783:4/AFT-(Annual-Family-Travel)-Visit-Dubai-August-2022:4 Let's connect https://cointr.ee/patjules images used are mine edited on Canva! https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 If we can print our own money the better for the economy!

My One Qatari Riyal Epiphany: A Faithful Story of Hundredfolds It was early Friday morning (our weekend in the Middle East) when my colleagues arrived at the villa where I was staying. Michelle, Lorraine, Loreta and JC. were ready for our planned exercise at a nearby walking distance park. I decided to bring only water and no money for the sole reason of sweating and not eating (sometimes we were so tempted to grab a pizza after our exercise that we forfeited the purpose). On the way to the park, our typical happy and giddy moments were full of laughter and silly Pinoy jokes that were hilarious. *****Looking for a Treasure?***** Loreta the queen of a comedienne in the group would fondly call me "baby girl" and spontaneously asked why I was quiet, stared sternly at the ground, and said as if I was looking for a gem! Whenever she uttered anything, we would all end up laughing as well. I simply retorted, ***"I am looking for my ONE riyal!"*** I knew with that firm conviction the moment I told them I would have one. *They did not believe at all.* So as we continued walking, telling jokes, JC asked, "O asan na ONE riyal mo?" (so, where's your ONE riyal now?) I smiled, and told him, ***"Relax, patience is a virtue!"*** In fact, instead of telling jokes from nowhere, the centre of the comedy is now my "ONE" riyal. ***They continued making fun with it***. I simply went along with them. After all, it was a random "ONE" riyal idea but there was something so strong deep inside that God will give me what I need. HE always did! We were almost in the nearby park. Still no "ONE" riyal. My friends not only chuckled but they were already telling me I'm crazy for BELIEVING that there's ONE Riyal on the way and not giving up on it was indeed insane. They told me to stop with it because reality spoke, there will be no ONE riyal in the desert! *Until today, that simple but very impactful experienced I had back in the Middle East is my turning point whenever I feel like giving up on something, I know for myself that if I would pursue, it won't only help me personally but those people that I truly love.* My friends were just realistic, stating the fact that it's very rare to find what I was looking for in the middle of nowhere however my gut feeling, my instinct and by far my faith told me otherwise. We continued our journey and spent a couple of hours brisk walking until it was almost lunchtime. We decided to take a break at a nearby cafe yet decided to have a walk back to our accommodation. Then and there again the ONE RIYAL issue came back to the topic. Deep inside my heart, I knew that it was somewhere along the way. It was such a surreal feeling that I kept holding on to it. Despite my friends making fun of what I believed in, I simply told them, that I knew I would find it. It might not be there exactly at the place I thought it would be, ***but I knew I would find it!!!*** We talked, laughed and planned for an afternoon shopping at CityCenter, an hour's drive from our place since it was also our day off, the only time we could do groceries and chill outside our villa. Since Loreta was thirsty, which was rationally believable after our walk, the four of them said that they will drop by in a small shop to buy drinks. Since I did not bring any money with me, I told them that I shall wait outside. They won't be long as they said. *****Who would have thought of a Hundredfold?***** Take note in the Middle East, it's not advisable to hang around ALONE outside your accommodation, I mean for security measures apart from the heat and humid weather, the best option was to be indoors. Well, then I decided to get in... Remember ***that what you are seeking is also seeking you. Your thoughts fused with feelings become a subjective belief, and according to your belief is it done unto you!-*** ***Joseph Murphy, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind*** Lo and behold, as you believed, so let it be (Matthew 9:29) *****As I stepped in, there laid not only one, two, three, four but FIVE RIYALS on the floor.***** At once, I acknowledged that it was the ONE RIYAL I asked God to manifest that moment of walking with my friends. I did not hesitate at all to pick it up but was still curious if maybe someone had just slipped it from his/ her wallet as there were other nationalities in the small store. I asked my friends first to check their wallets whether they lost money, five riyals to be exact and all of them busy buying something nodded with "***NO!*** I had to keep asking some of those I felt might lose something and all of them said ***NO!*** For the third round, I decided to approach the cashier of the store and asked him whether he happened to slip 5 riyals. He said ***NO!*** *****What's the Rationale?***** It was clear to me that God answered my prayer when I asked for ONE RIYAL yet HE gave me FIVE instead. Such a HUNDREDFOLD I must admit. Although for some, five riyals is still not a lot of money ( of course it won't buy you a gadget) but my point is so simple. "***HUNDREDFOLD!***" was so impactful. My journey of ONE RIYAL was not just an amount but the thought of "hundredfold" was more than an epiphany that whatever you ***BELIEVE, you shall ACHIEVE*** and with Divine Intervention, all things will fall into their right order. I have so many real-life experiences which manifested a Hundredfold but the one in the Middle East was one of a kind. ***Have I also mentioned that I went for employment yet I ended up having a marital agreement?*** Images used are mine! #ShoutOut to my sponsors for their generosity and quality posts as always Let's connect https://cointr.ee/patjules https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 *If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*

How Crucial Being a Father in your Child's Life? A Father's Day Tribute! *"Daddy, can you fix this for me please?"* *it's always Sage's statement whenever he needed his dad to fix his transformer's robocar! He will not come to me rather he would always go to his father asking him to fix his broken toys. He knew "***daddy is the man***". Sometimes I even offered to do it for him yet Sage always preferred his father for the ***"special toy engine rescue."*** To avoid hurting my feelings, kidding aside, I just consoled myself arriving at a conclusion that his daddy Patrick is an engineer whom he has a notion that "*daddy will repair everything for him.* Most of the days when his dad was at the garage fixing/ checking engines of the car, Sage was also on the side doing his best to mess up things and eventually asked his dad to fix it for him. So on this *Father's Day 2022* let me share how my husband is doing his best to become the best DAD for Sage. Both of us were first-time parents. During the first year with our baby, we were in the error and trial parenting mode. To our recourse, we attended a very productive session in order to be guided properly in reinforcing more learning not only for our baby but also for us first-time parents. *****Patrick and I will do the "DAD" Routine (Duty and Diligence) Thing!***** We made a point to have a division of labour when it comes to Sage's routine. Here are the four things I do with him in the morning. (*Oh by the way the potty training was one of the most crucial parts of being a parent)* ***6:05-6:10****-Brushing his teeth/ Chitchat a bit ( Sage asked so many questions during this session)* ***6:10-6:20****- Quick Shower/ Chitchat again ( Sage will just tell me anything he remembered during the night)* ***6:20-6:30****-Told him to choose his shirt, pants, socks, and boxer to wear to the Childminding.* ( I let him do this task of choosing what he wanted to wear for a particular day. At the early age of three, we let him exercise his ***FREEDOM to choose*** what he felt, thought and wanted. Once he's ready, he would go down to his daddy, who was waiting for him to have his light breakfast. Even this part. Patrick would asked him, "***What do you want for breakfast Sage?"*** He's given multiple options but mostly he would have an apple, milk, and bread with cheese ( like the *Panini style, he loved when we were in Mauritius*) if not cereal or boiled egg. *This photo was taken when we were in Radisson Blu at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.* While Sage had his light breakfast, his dad will prepare the food, and the bag. Put them in the car so that five minutes to seven, we would start moving toward our destinations. I think I could say I am lucky when it comes to this area of parenting that my husband prepared our food to go to work because he woke up early at 6:00 a.m! *****But of course, do you pay attention to AFT? ( Or I call it our Annual Family Travel)***** In this context, my husband is lucky to have me because I am responsible for our financial balance sheet as I made it a point to have our Annual Family Travel whenever possible. My goal to bring Sage outside Seychelles at least on an annual basis is good enough for him to realize how vast the world there is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imTNTPAOkFE Patrick on the other hand had been travelling since he was nineteen years old, he had seen and experienced the culture, norms and traditions of other countries. He agreed to my proposition of our AFT or I call it our Annual Family Travel for the sake of Sage's growth and development as well. Like I always said to him, Life is so Uncertain, so face your fears and just travel. Since we are in Seychelles where travel is accessible to countries that we loved to explore as a family, it was very convenient to have planned our itinerary. https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/life-is-so-uncertain-so-face-your-fears-and-just-travel-e77dd99c When Sage was around ***nine months***, our trip to my home town in *Davao, Philippines* was the most unforgettable one knowing that it was the ***first and the last time*** our baby had a chance to spend time with his grandpapa Adonis. It made me teary-eyed to remember that my father was not able to celebrate Father's Day with his first grandchild as he passed away last year due to cancer. He has gone home to Heaven. He's now our angel! https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/god-has-called-you-home-papa-a-real-life-story-of-forgiveness-and-reconciliation-28e23693 *****Why Do We Celebrate Father's Day? What's the Rationale?***** Patrick works on a shifting schedule, thus there were days whereby Sage won't see him early morning on a weekday. He would ask me, "***mommy where's daddy?"*** I have to explain that his dad is at work. We would call him to say "good morning!" otherwise Patrick made it a habit ever since checking on us to ensure things are okay at home. *My point of sharing this is simple!* ***Celebrating Father's Day takes a crucial effort to appreciate that being a Father is a gift.*** *****It is an opportunity.!***** *****It is a blessing.!***** Everybody wanted to be a Father however not everybody can become ONE! It takes an adult responsibility to fortify a CHILD's safety and security in the first place. We celebrate Father's Day because we appreciate and honour the paternal responsibility not only the bond between the father and his child. `We would admit the first time when we found out that we were both "pregnant" (not in its literal sense but in the context of being a parent) my husband was so nervous about how to hold Sage, how to carry him in his arms.` There was even a point when we were both looking at our baby while he was peacefully sleeping and we told ourselves, how "FORTUNATE and BLESSED" we were given such RESPONSIBILITY, thus securing his SAFETY, providing his basic and Parental needs were our main priorities. *Had it not because of Sage that being a Parent is indeed a blessing.* Images used are mine! Formal or Informal Education? My Take as An Overseas Filipino Teacher in Seychelles It has been a rough journey since I decided to teach here in Seychelles not knowing that the reality of "education" particularly in a State School is way beyond my imagination. I was more exposed to International and Private Institutions even back in my country and in the Middle East. As an Educator, I am not mainly grounded with wages but ultimately on how I can bring an ***IMPACT*** to my students' lives. Philosophically speaking, at the end of the day, education is never a guarantee for success rather it is an element or a tool to acquire something valuable in life. If you're taking Gary Vaynerchuk's side whether College is Worth it? Well then get yourself a degree.  https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/is-college-really-worth-it/ However, in the real battle of our existence, even Elon Musk put the matter into his hand when he built ***Ad Astra*** as an exclusive school for his children. The curriculum is far more interesting. https://insideevs.com/news/541442/tesla-elon-musk-views-education/ `Anyhow, I was tasked to write about the topic, Our Education: A Preparation for our Future" for my department yet this is written for what is the real deal here at Pointe Larue Secondary itself.` I wanted to put it in a very objective manner the best way I can as much as I *believe* **Education is like a passport to allow an entry into a particular country by which you will be able to witness the grandeur of the world and a country's culture yet if you prefer to stay in the comfort of your geographical location,** you might not need it somehow! ***Our Education: A Preparation for our Future*** *Have you ever thought about how powerful you could become when you educate yourself into something valuable?* *Have you ever thought about how you can change the world when you abreast yourself into learning more about the beauty of education beyond measure?* **Nelson Mandela** once said, “***Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.***” *If we won't use this weapon, we won't be able to achieve our mission and vision for the empowerment of our very own students here at Pointe Larue Secondary School.* *My dear students, and colleagues, we will work hand and hand in order to preserve the preamble of our alma mater. To uplift the lives and the purposeful being of our existence so we can bring impact to other people in society. We have to give hope and love to our dear classmates, friends and peers even in the little way we can.* ***Our Education! Our Hope and Weapon!*** *Being educated entails a maximum effort to exercise good awareness towards society. Being able to gain a good education is like getting a passport for the betterment of one's life. It is everybody's HOPE towards a brighter future.* *If you are educated, you can have an edge to raise or increase your monetary asset by employing to create more opportunities.* *Education is our WEAPON to raise our standard of living. As Nelson Mandela had experienced, in a life of extremes, education was a constant reminder to fabricate HOPE for those who were losing their grip to see a prosperous nation and society* ***How Important is Education to our Students' Lives?*** *Education as a gateway for* ***EMPOWERMENT*** *to our students. It is without a doubt an essential element needed for their success. It will help them improve their lives through proper Career Guidance on what path to take for their financial, social and mental well-being.* *In the context of* ***Formal Education*** *as it comes under a certain combination of rules and regulations, highly qualified and educated professionals abiding by its pedagogy, solely subject* *themselves to strict discipline to FACILITATE a good learning and conducive environment for our students.* "Formal education will make you a living but *****self-education will make you a fortune,***** **"** as the famous ***JM Rohn*** stated in one of his talks about Learning by Doing. When parents are teaching their children to learn how to do something at home, for example, ***cooking or even riding a bicycle, such acquired skills are tantamount for their kids to prepare in life***. Lessons from our Annual Family Trip to Mauritius that Made me a Quick-Witted, Economical Traveller! ***How would you feel if your most awaited family travel overseas was cancelled, re-accommodated or re-schedule multiple times? How would you react if the taxi booked has to be cancelled as well apart from the guest house where you're supposed to stay?*** Imagine you plan your day however due to so many "*commercial if not technical issues*" involved with the airline, then all you could do was simply wait although you have other accommodations being at stake. Since there's *****no direct flight travelling to Mauritius via Air Seychelles***** added to the fact that if you're flying with your toddler, the shortest the flight, the better. Well then, always see the silver lining of everything! *****So when booking your preferred Hotels or Guest-House, better consider the "No Pre-Payment Needed and Free Cancellation Options.***** ***Why? because it would save you from further expenses incurred.*** Patience is one of the greatest virtues I have to practice whenever I deal with adversities overseas. Maintained my cool and my composure even if I wanted to burst out my sentiment concerning our flights that have been re-scheduled FOUR TIMES to be exact. So it all started when...... ***16 February 2022,*** I received an SMS stating that we have been *****"re-accommodated" to fly to Mauritius from my original booking for 18 April at 10:00 A.M local time*****. This was so weird knowing that right after I paid for our trip, this message was sent to me via SMS. I maintained my cool knowing that it was the timing per se. I mean the "time" of flying and not the date! My initial plan of 18 days in Mauritius remained to be untold to my surprise. For the whole month of March, no further emails were sent and from then I already started booking the hotels/ guesthouses. The taxi booking was the most infuriating part by the way. After thorough consideration of which hotel/ guest house to stay in and upon recommendations of my Mauritian colleague who has been so generous as to give me an extra 300 Mauritian Rupee, I "***FINALIZED***" my booking and opted for " ***No Pre-Payment Needed***" meaning *pay when you arrive at the property* just in case there would be changes again from the Airline's side. It was more practical and safe rather than paid accommodation if we won't arrive on the day stated yet it's already been paid. The host of the guest house in Trou D'Eau Douce himself has to cancel it for me to avoid added fees. This was the first time that our annual family trip dealt with annoying circumstances added to being stuck at the airport for another six hours rather than two. My initial reaction was exasperation but in the end, I chose to stay calm and prepared for this most awaited trip to Mauritius first time. *****Coastal Side and a Peaceful Time at Trou D'eau Douce! Tracking our Expenses was a Resourceful way to stay for 10 nights!***** The serene environment, the food and the people themselves were more than enough to consider going for a trip to ***Trou D'eau Douce!*** Upon research, this area has been visited due to *****Ile aux Cerf***** which is described by ***TripAdvisor*** here as a *****"**********chic and wild" setting for a breathtaking experience of natural beauty**********,***** however, since coming from Seychelles, we decided to stay around the nearby beach with a park where Tropical Attitude Hotel is located and we were so lucky to have a good and relaxing day at the beachside for FREE. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293816-d477276-Reviews-Ile_aux_Cerfs-Mauritius.html To my surprise, upon tracking our expenses, it's more costly staying there because even a 5 gallon of water costs around 75Rs while in Grand Baie it was only 65Rs. 10Rs difference can still buy you something. Although you can make a lower cost with the guest house perhaps but if you wanted to go to *****Center de Flacq*****, public taxi cost 35rs multiplied to two and coming back would mean spending more on the transport. You can rent a car for hire for a price of *****1300-1600 per day depending on the owner!***** *****Tourist Destination in***** *****Grand Baie***** *****as it was a walking distance to nearby shops, restaurants, public beach and more economical around.***** https://odysee.com/Grand-Baie-Mauritius:2325d6e01234dbc12e578aeb94e824efef319e0a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imTNTPAOkFE Though Mauritius is highly comprehensive in terms of *luxurious hotels*, if you want a different vibe in terms of accommodation, well then Guesthouses are good options and it's more economical too even without compromising the comfort of your stay while in Grand Baie. Unlike our stay at Radisson Blu hotel at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, for a change, my baby and my hubby experienced a bit of "***discomfort***" hence being flexible was very useful. There was a point when Sage spontaneously asked *mommy where's the table? Where will I eat?" Lmao!* Though in Troud D'eau Douce, guest houses were more affordable however due to the distance at the *****Center de Flacq*****, still it would boil down to the expenses of transport which you can add to the cost should you book a guesthouse in Grand Baie. We stayed at the centre of Grand Baie whereby all shops were within walking distance and the *****Sunset Boulevard***** was just right around the corner. Food stalls and many other resto, bars and restaurants were nearby so the cost of a taxi or even hiring a car was not a necessity although if you wanted to visit *****Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis***** from Grand Baie, it was a closer distance compared if you're coming from Trou D'eau Douce and the Express Bus was more convenient rather than the regular one as the trip would take more or less 45 minutes. *****La Croisette*****, the newly opened mall situated in Grand Baie was also an added consideration should you wish to hang around the playground area whereby kids adored the different *****Themes during the weekend**********.***** Took a snap with Thor and Bumble Bee, the kid in me! https://noise.cash/u/PatJules83 From where stayed, it would take more or less 20 minutes by foot although a taxi was available for a cost of 200RS! We opted to take our feet for another adventurous walk and stopped from time to time to capture views on the side of the road. Most of the Mauritians we asked for directions going to ***La Croisette*** and even when we went to Bagatelle Mall in Moka, would take two bus rides going there via Express Bus for a faster trip, were so helpful even to the point of walking us through to our destinations. They were the kindest, most polite human being I encountered whenever I travelled. Rarely you would talk to the locals if you travel to the ***Middle East.*** *****What's the rationale?***** I must say, despite the multiple cancellations AirSeychelles did, I would always go back to Mauritius via AirSeychelles because it's economical and has the shortest distance which would take only 2 and half hours. To our relief, we were given a FREE COMPLIMENTARY RETURN TICKET should we decide to travel with them again and also a food voucher for three. Well, then not bad as I would always say, "*****life is so uncertain so face your fears, just travel and***** *****expand your horizon by embracing one's culture through seeing things on a greater adventure."***** ** `#ShoutOuts to my sponsors for their quality posts and generosity always` `Images used are mine edited on Canva` Let's connect https://cointr.ee/patjules https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 if we can print our own money, the better for the economy!

OMG! How's your Toddler at Three? Perhaps my way of teaching my baby into learning how to deal with life's adversities in the future is to develop his problem-solving skills. The way I see which is more interesting for him is "puzzle and building blocks together!" Puzzles are good stimulators for brain development at an age where my baby's growth is still so open to possibilities and creativity. Whenever we gave him new puzzles to work with, he's just so excited to keep doing it over and over again. Early morning, in between throughout the day and at night before bedtime. This has become part of his routine. Sage BEFORE turning Three and his exposure to Gadgets! I tried to balance his gadget exposure as he loved doing the "archaeological" puzzles of different dinosaurs where I can't remember how on earth did he even know the names. For example, he can identify T-rex, Triceratops and Pterodactyl. I had to browse online whether the descriptions were correct. True enough the names were right! Sage has his way of learning things even without me teaching him. In part of the puzzles where he had to dig, put them together to see what kind of dinosaur it was, he tried to come up with a story about it as he can't read just yet. Instead of reading the information, he would tell me that the dinosaurs were big, and some are bad because they would be eating baby dinosaurs based on the film he watched. He can interact with me and we would have a question and answer portion afterwards. Now that Sage is Three, what are his Activities? https://youtu.be/K1Ax6Zueorc *Mommy let's play together!" he would grab my wrist and we would play football/ basketball/puzzle, hide and seek.* During the weekend as he is off from the Childminding, he would make a sandcastle in a small garden in the backyard and he would just tell me to "look at what he is doing!" We also make it a habit to bring him to Roche Caiman Park/ Sport Centre so he could play with his scooter practising how to "balance" where at first he doesn't have the confidence, eventually gets used to it when other kids are playing around with it. Whenever I see my baby giggling as if there's no tomorrow for him to play, it gives me always a heart full of euphoria. I could not even understand myself whenever I look at his "initiative" of putting his favourite teddy on his shoes and said, "are you ready teddy, let's go boom boom taye" ***meaning we will be out for a road trip"*** so he better be with shoes. I find this photo so amusing that the memories are flowing in smoothly about how myself and his daddy have been able to raise Sage at an age where he is so inquisitive, creative and so talkative! *We're both first-time parents so we were learning together with our three years old.* Sage doesn't like hospitals at all! There was one time we had to go to the hospital because Patrick had an ear problem. Immediately he said, "mommy I don't like to go to the hospital". This is in view of his experiences with the doctor who was checking his throat that it was so uncomfortable and told me as soon as we reached home what the doctor told him. "***He should not drink cold water or milk***!" He had a high fever due to tonsilitis. What's the Rationale? As a first time, mother never did occur to me that having a three-year-old baby can also help me know what are my priorities and my capabilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoarWnLXWbc There are days that Sage is a handful and his meltdown is something that I am learning for myself as well. There are moments that resulted in punishment and he knew for a fact that a "*belt*" means correcting his behaviour if it happens that he's becoming out of control. I got it from my father back when I was still a child but with a huge difference in how it is being employed. All I know from maternal instinct and based on articles I have read about Motherhood, being firm but gentle with our toddlers is a lot of work to do. Gradually I have learned how to apply it in a more amicable and rational manner. I am so adept in Sage's "*formative years**" that I would do everything in my power to reinforce more Learning Experiences for him so that as he is growing, he would only nurture and master things in a more refined decorum. ** This has been posted here https://peakd.com/hive-165757/@patjules83/omg-hows-your-toddler-at-3 Mom of Hive Badge from PeakD https://peakd.com/register?ref=patjules83 `ShoutOut to my sponsors for their quality posts and generosity always` Let's connect https://cointr.ee/patjules https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 *****If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*****

Safe Sex? How Protected Are You? ***Is it really about safe sex or simply not doing the act at all? For crying out loud at 14-15? Are you kidding me?*** *This topic is given the reality in the secondary school where I am currently teaching. My heart goes to my students who told me they could have just waited yet it's too late!* Well even If I got married at 32 and have lived to my principles of only engaging in sexual intercourse with my husband, I am fully aware especially here in Seychelles that chastity entails self-discipline and this may sound so old school but based on the research I did on the Moral Theological Perspective of sexual union, this has to be in the context of ***marriage! If not in a COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP!*** ***Let me tell you why!*** *Thomas Aquinas, in his Summa Theologia on* ***Marriage and Sex******,*** *stated that what makes premarital sex wrong because* ***i********t can bring the possible child into a situation where it does not have both parents to look after it.!*****  *This is in reference to an "unplanned and early pregnancy" like what is happening to mostly Secondary schools globally. Seeing this reality to where I am currently living whereby I am exposed to the reality of my secondary students, I can't help but felt so sad for them.* https://theo.kuleuven.be/apps/christian-ethics/sex/history/h2c.html ***There's so much in life than a mere sexual activity out of lust and curiosity!*** *****And so I thought my Students are so Innocent (Though not Generalizing)*****  *I had my last period with my S5 set3 class. They were still considered band A, meaning academic class so all the while I thought that "an academic" student would be more adept at focusing on his/her studies. To think that their "priorities" must be on how to prepare for their Advanced Level Studies, guess I am the one who innocently thought about them.* *There were around 29 of them. 15 girls and the rest were boys.* I was explaining my lesson and they were pretty much-paying attention to the topic, after which I went around to check their work individually. What caught my attention was one of my girls on her table busy fixing her things. Shocked was an understatement!  *Of all her things,* ***'that condom stuff surprised me to the hilt!*** *What the heck!* *Have I mentioned that the only time I practically learned how *condoms worked was only when I got married? Sure thing, I read about it but "****practicum****" was another story for me. I am pretty much old fashioned still added to the fact that my father was so strict and would always remember how he advised me to wait for the right time and to do it with the right person alone!* *I felt that "condoms" must be discreetly kept and not be shown in public. Imagine working in the Middle East when my hubby told me that he has to ask discreetly, he wanted to buy a condom! At that time, Doha was still so austere though just recently upon a conversation with a friend in Abu Dhabi, they're a bit more relaxed as an unmarried couple can now live together.* ***I went over, confused and asked her!*** *Knowing that my students' stage is the "exploration" period of their Secondary Life, my gut told me to ask her,*  ***"What is this?" I mean why do you have this?"*** and she replied with a bit of confusion, even asked me with that condescending tone! ***"Ms. you don't know what it is?"*** *I could not compose a rational thought to respond but got the courage to do so!* ***"Hey, I know what is this, but my point is that, why do you have this in your bag? Why are you bringing this?"*** *I felt like reprimanding my daughter!* She shrugged and simply told me,  ***"It's for protection Ms."*** *****Is it really about "PROTECTING ONESELF? How Safe it Is by the way?*****  The consequence of having a baby before matrimony, especially for the couple who are not "ready or unplanned pregnancy" for whatever responsibilities it incurs, would sort into the worst scenario of abortion. According to an article here *"half of the unplanned pregnancies among unmarried women (age 20-29) result in an abortion— nearly 600,000 abortions each year."* https://powertodecide.org/sites/default/files/resources/supporting-materials/getting-the-facts-straight-chapter-2-abortion.pdf **Considering the age bracket of my students, how can I not be alarmed when they're so young and how on earth a 14-15-year-old student/teenager can support a child? Given normal circumstances, a****t 15, how would you convince me you are mature and financially secured?*** ***I told her to come with me to the staff room and we would have a heart to heart talk after class. Whoah to my surprise, she knew what she's gotten into and I'd better keep my mouth shut.*  *****What's the Rationale?***** Protection may be good but there's so much research and studies that have been found helpful, relevant to date on "***waiting for the right time" to engage oneself in "premarital sex."*** *Likewise, to speak about "the protection" from my point of view it is not just really about "protecting yourself, but it's all about NOT DOING it all---- not until you are* ***MATURE*** *enough to support yourself whereby you can withstand the consequences.* *****There's more to life than sex!***** ** `This post is in connection to my ongoing study about the reality of our students here at Pointe Larue and it really crushed my heart every time I get to know our Secondary students got pregnant. Whenever I told them that "sex" is a gift to your spouse in the context of marriage, there's so much confusion in their minds and *PROPER GUIDANCE* is the least I can do for them! Give Yourself Grace! What are the 10 Things You Have Accomplished? *Lisa Bilyeu*, an entrepreneur and a wife inspired me so much with her statement on her successful *Women of Impact Youtube Channel* whenever she would sign off saying, ***“Be the Hero of Your Own Life!******.”*** It never occurred to me that being a hero could mean being AUTHENTIC of who you truly are. Do something that makes your FUTURE self be grateful and never regret that you haven’t done something for yourself. We may have different versions of this reality but the point is that we have to remember to give ourselves GRACE, we have to remember that the first person with whom we would be in constant communion of what we wanted to achieve in life is ***"us!"*** https://www.youtube.com/c/WomenofImpact Now in my *39 years* of existence, I learned how to identify my so-called accomplishments in life. Let me start from my least to my greatest achievements. Highlighting also the MOST CHALLENGING things and how I dealt with them. 10.) *****I survived for three years teaching in the Middle East and adopted an island living for seven years.***** *(you can also check on my post about "**Ghost Town Effect in Seychelles* https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/ghost-town-effect-in-seychelles-8a419a72 *My first-hand experience of the desert was so challenging that I had to stay focused not being able to lost grip on my goals. I was so determined to accomplish the “dream property” and the “dream minicab” for my family.* However, things were not at all easy. The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** I was being dragged into a personal issue whereby a colleague who later on became a friend was terminated due to an act of which prohibited by all teachers apart from the financial issues she committed. *****TRUST***** is earned and not just given. I decided to distance myself. She confessed that she has to do what she needed to do. I only asked a favour should she be out late the next time around, she must not involve me especially “using my name” saying that we’re out together yet she would go somewhere else. 9.) *****I travelled twice to the Middle East during the pandemic*****. https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/new-perspective-for-2022-while-travelling-twice-to-the-middle-east-despite-the-global-crisis-e15d9d6d *The global crisis has created so much emotional if not financial crisis for so many people. There was always “fear” whenever we travelled. I decided to book for our family trip bound for UAE with my hubby and my baby where we stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel in Yas Island for 14 days from September to October.* *I took the time out for myself thus returned around December right after the Christmas break and spent my New Year alone in the desert. To keep my sanity after the death of my father, I had to recollect the moments when I almost lost my identity. Marriage crisis crept in and I just needed a “ME-TIME”* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** Booking the flight back to Abu Dhabi when it was my very first time to be away from my baby. Sage thought that I would only buy his toys. Gradually he accepted the fact that I have to talk to him over video calls and his favourite line, “mommy you will buy me toys?” was somehow compensated when he saw that transformer robocar. I have to be mentally firm when it comes to my decision knowing that “ME-TIME” is crucial for first-time moms and for those who are overseas and couldn’t have a confidant abroad. 8.) *****I bought a small property for my family in the Philippines and purchased a minicab for our small business*****. *For one and a half years with thorough discipline to buy a small property as one of my goals for my family in my country, I gifted myself a plot of land in Panabo where I bought it a day before my birthday.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** Sending money whereby I decided to do a “*bank transfer*” which was the biggest mistake. Although the assurance to send was RELIABLE enough, the conversion rate was lower compared to an exchange. ***At that time cryptocurrency was not much utilized.*** Left with no other options, as my goal to send money for the property was more important than the conversion rate plus the transaction fees, I gave a "go signal" to one of the managers at the Commercial Bank who was handling my account. 7.) *****I invested my hard-earned money into a vehicle that can give me at least 13-18% APY! (******you can also check on my blog about* *Savings Takes a Lot of Self-Discipline)* https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/saving-takes-a-lot-of-self-discipline-the-importance-of-financial-education-3d325384 *Ever since I was in the Philippines, I always have a penchant for letting my money grow and won’t let it sleep in the bank whereby less than 1% is given annually. I had invested quite a good amount of money in a friend with whom we had a good personal relationship as we were together in a religious organization so “TRUST’ was never an issue at all. I have given him my 101% confidence that in a year the amount of money will be returned with interest. We even had an MOA signed.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** My investment journey was being scammed when a friend was nowhere to be found and he did not even return a penny from it. Despite our effort to trace him, the fact that he can’t repay me and the others with whom he borrowed money, DUE DILIGENCE was what I learned and never TRUST even a friend. I was so determined to learn how to grow my finances and paid subscriptions how investments are properly done. I forced my brain to understand those words that I haven’t learned from school. Lo and behold, I ***received my cash dividends, gained profit from my crypto trading as well.*** 6.) *****I purchased Medical/ Health insurance for my Father, Mother and Sister. (******you can also check on my post about* *Why I'm a sucker of Insurance Policies**)* https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/cheque-deposited-for-sage-why-im-a-sucker-of-insurance-policies-9a08a7c5 *I couldn’t emphasize enough how Health Care is a safety net when it comes to medical bills or hospitalization in my country. The fact that hospital bills could kill in the Philippines because it’s too expensive, can attest to it when my father was hospitalized. Had it not for the health care that I purchased for both of my parents, debt is the next best thing.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** Acquiring Health Care was educating not only my family but my relatives on how important to have it while we are still earning a good amount of money. **My heart broke when my uncle who has been a public servant for 40 years could not even afford to pay for his medication because the money he earned while employed was not properly invested into health care.* Despite my father’s unfavourable reaction when I told him to sign for the policy I bought, I made it clear to him that when it’s time to use the policy, he would thank me for it. We had a fatherly conversation before his demise last year. Although there was one time that I needed to send the money right away needed for the ICU, it was reimbursed anyhow. 5.) *****I got married at 32 and became a mom at 35.***** *(you can also check on my post-**Doha: My Adventure of Work and Love* https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/doha-my-adventure-of-work-and-love-d9e4d0a1 *It never occurred to me that I would get married on a pristine island of Seychelles when hubby and I met in the Middle East through a dating site back when we were both working in an Arabian Peninsula.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** During our dating stage was the thought that we can't even hold hands together while going out and practised social distance when we tried to watch the water fountain in the corniche area. We both understood that our situation was temporary so we refrain from being cuddly and decided to focus on our three-year contract to finish and by then we would live together as husband and wife. This is also a reminder for those who felt pressured to settle down that age is just a number. We all have a different timeframe. 4.) *****I paid for my father's hospitalization/ medical bills when he was still alive.***** *Cancer is deadly. We never thought that my papa would have cancer because when we saw him the last two years, he promised to drive us around when we will visit them again this year. Unfortunately, God has called him earlier.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** Was seeing him over a video call after my class and when I told him by heart, "it's okay papa, God has called you HOME!" he passed away in solemnity. It is with steadfast and unwavering faith which helped me survive the mourning process and it is when I truly realized that "life is so UNCERTAIN!" https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/life-is-so-uncertain-so-face-your-fears-just-travel-abu-dhabi-adventure-20222-0db752bd 3.) *****I wrote blogs whereby I always dreamt of becoming a writer.***** *During my freshman years in high school, my first clients who read my "novel" were my two best friends whereby when I transferred to the main city after our recognition day, they took it with them.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** Back when the typewriter was my tool to write apart from my pen and notes, I couldn't be more grateful for how it helped me start writing. I enjoyed imagining the events of my story at that time and it didn't bother me the most writing it with a pen or a typewriter. But now what's my excuse? 2.) *****I have a thriving offline and online microbusiness which I feel serves people when it comes to their travel experience and many other things.***** *(you can check on my page* *here* https://www.facebook.com/PatJules15 *A dear friend who introduce me to the world of entrepreneurship gave me more reasons to serve not only OFWs who are having problems with their finances but also when it comes to their travel experiences.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** I have been overseas for almost ten years now since I left my country and having a more practical way to book my ticket and earned rebates or a percentage is a good way to monetize it. 1.) *****I managed to deal with my overseas challenges whereby being a teacher in the state school in Seychelles is not just about the salary but truly being able to impact my students' lives.***** *When you are dealing with people from all walks of life away from your country, I take pride in what I am doing in the state school. Now that I have the chance to bring more impact to my students' lives, at the end of the day I feel more accountable for the life skills they will self-actualize within the later years of their future.* The ***Most Challenging Moment?*** My teaching vocation at Pointe Larue could be summarised with this statement ***I work not for money anymore but mainly on what legacy I can leave behind when it's time to leave.*** #ShoutOut to my sponsors for their generosity and quality posts Images are mine edited on Canva and on inCollage Let's connect via cointr.ee/patjules https://cointr.ee/patjules https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 *****If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*****

Why The VALUE of HARDWORK is a SKILL You really NEED? When you have a baby who likes to mess up with your work as he wanted to watch The Three Little Pigs, I was actually into deep introspection while internalizing the message of the story. Fables in general have morals that we can truly emulate in real life, eventually learning its most core of our being. Have you ever thought of watching this fable as you are already "adulting?" Perhaps you say to yourself it's merely for toddlers or kids, right? You might think it's silly to spend time watching it with your baby. But do you the science behind a good story in general (fables or not, by the way, I had chosen this story because of my baby), somehow it has "*Punched us in the gut***"** whenever we heard or someone told us a story more so when we watched it over a screen. https://greatergood.berkeley.edu/article/item/science_of_the_story Well in the story of the Three Little Pigs, what it conveyed to me was all about  "**hard work**" while they were building their houses so that they would be safe from the wolf's hungry stomach. But the question was, *****how "strong the foundation" they built?***** https://americanliterature.com/childrens-stories/the-three-little-pigs Okay, let me do a recap.! ***The three little pigs were building their houses. Due to laziness, one of the pigs built his house made of straw. The other one who is somewhat not too lazy built his house made of sticks. These two little pigs were dancing, playing, chilling to their heart's content unmindful with the other pig who built his house made of bricks.***  *True enough, the two lazy pigs were enjoying and do not care whether the houses they built would surpass through storms. All they did were slacking around and even looking at the other pig who was doing his best to work thus making his house stronger by the use of bricks.* ***REALITY CHECK!*** If we would relate the story to how we are living our lives of today, we would prefer to be the two little pigs at times right? We tend to relax to the point of not minding what future might lie ahead of us. All we think about is the moment where we could enjoy to the hilt unmindful of the  "**storms**" that might come in.  ***So now that we have the pandemic added with the war, are we not going to shift our gear?***  *Would we remain to be relaxed and be more focused on the pandemic or we would find ways how we could improve ourselves by means of* ***becoming productive every day?*** *Oh, I am not done with the story actually.* *On the other hand, the other pig who built his house with bricks didn't have time to take his days off because he knew that "storms" might be coming anytime soon. Like he foresees that there might be no time anymore to play around unless he has to finish building his house with a solid foundation.* **Surely he had told his two brothers to make just the same in preparation for the "storm!** but Nah, these two lazy pigs were doing karaoke and party instead lmao or they were so engulfed playing around that they just ignored their brother. *Lo and behold, a wolf came, with his hungry tummy, had seen three houses and smelt the pigs. The horror of the pigs who hurriedly went inside their houses.* *The wolf was kinda, reassuring that he won't hurt them so long as he would let him in, singing at the same time!* *Little pig! Little pig! Let me in!*  **The pigs got scared, and replied,** *No! No! No! Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!* ***And the wolf, huff,  puff, and blew the house down***. The little pig's house made of the stick was blown away and ran to a brother who built his house made of straw. Well, you can guess what happened to the next house as the wolf was thinking he would have two pigs for lunch that day. The two pigs were in so much horror that they ran as fast as they can to their brother who built his house made of bricks. The wolf was still confident that he could huff, puff and blew the house made of bricks... *What do you think happened next?* ***** *In connection to how we work hard for our financial freedom, how "solid your foundation when it comes to your wealth abundance? Are you able to exert so much effort by contributing to bringing more economic freedom to the world? AGAPE: The Art of Loving (Rationale) ****We live in a very chaotic world****. Ukrainians are already on the lookout for their lives. They are frightened, bullets might randomly be dispersed. The uncertainty we are facing is tremendously affecting many people in various ways yet what have we done to contribute to the betterment of others? *How would you feel if you're seven seas apart from your family and you were told internal war is going to happen to the country you are working? Have you ever thought of dying away from your loved ones?* **The Turmoil of Internal Conflict in the Middle East** I have worked for three years in the Middle East and there was a point where we were told not to go out often especially spending time at the shopping malls because there was news of an internal war. ***An Internal War for Christ's Sake! Last January 22, the attack on* *Abu Dhabi International Airport* *killed 3 workers from ADNOC and a Pakistani citizen.* The world needs to bridge this gap of hatred and any forms of conflict. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/1/17/suspected-houthi-drone-attacks-abu-dhabi-uae-liveblog It was quite scary knowing that we were overseas and our respective families in the Philippines were also in a state of panic. I remembered we prayed as a family inside our villa and things would remain just hearsays. ***We also experienced MERS*** Around 2012 there was MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) almost the same with covid yet there was no drastic change however we were reminded to be careful to whom we will be in contact with. Likewise, there was no vaccination as well as the mandatory wearing of masks and social distancing. We lived like how it was although precautionary measures were advised. Thank God I finished my contract safe and sound. That was a turning point when living overseas. Today in Seychelles with this pandemic and war between Ukraine and Russia, I am always reflecting on one thing. ***AGAPE if exercised fully can bring change to the world. Agape if lived daily will revolutionize the world's crisis especially when it comes to finances.*** I am sharing my views on how I see the world from the perspective of my idealism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaYTeH0QsKc *****FINANCIAL GROWTH not just for ourselves but on how we can contribute to the world's crisis.***** As overseas workers, one of the dilemmas is *****remittances.***** *The truth of the matter is, Overseas Filipino Workers are considered to be the "**modern-day heroes**" because the 10% OFW remittances contribute to the stabilization of the Philippines' economy.* https://www.vistalandinternational.com/blog/Why-Are-OFWs-Considered-As-Modern-Patriots#:~:text=Modern%20Heroism,a%20better%20life%20for%20them. My small contribution among my colleagues here in Seychelles *is to be able to spread awareness on* how I solved this problem, given the opportunity to work not only with Seychelloise but from different nationalities, a Mauritian colleague shared how cryptocurrency is used as a mode of payment upon booking in the hotels whereby she said it was so "***convenient."*** Most of my friends who came to ask me how did I solve my remittance problem, always pointed out to them that cryptocurrency, in general, helped me a lot with my transaction. I can send it online and I don't need to queue at the remittance exchange. *****I saved not only transaction fees but mostly my TIME.***** ***Why AGAPE?*** AGAPE; The Art of Loving, when exercised and acted upon authentically, genuinely, we won't experience this pandemic and chaos in the world. We will not suffer from financial crisis because we only want to achieve the good for others. ***If we truly love and actualize AGAPE, we would only want the best for our brothers and sisters in its most EMPOWERING way.*** Part 2: The Revolutionary Cause of Cryptocurrency https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/agape-the-art-of-loving-the-revolutionary-cause-of-cryptocurrency-e08e179b #ShoutOut to my sponsors for their generosity and quality posts Images sources are from Pexels edited on Canva Let's connect via cointr.ee https://cointr.ee/patjules https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1 *If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*

AGAPE: The Art of Loving; The Revolutionary Cause of Cryptocurrency According to **Investopedia** cryptocurrencies are almost always designed to be free from government manipulation and control. There are thousands of cryptocurrencies available in the market today. Many people can make a lot of money by simply staking, investing, and trading them. https://web.archive.org/web/20210526115836/https://www.investopedia.com/tech/most-important-cryptocurrencies-other-than-bitcoin/ Such a good way to earn decently. However, let us always remember the ORIGINAL abstract for Bitcoin designed by Satoshi Nakamoto as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system that would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. In this case alone, as I have been researching why many people are hyping cryptocurrency hence brought me to one considerable fact. It has to be  USED to bring more economic freedom around the world. Remember what happened in *****Venezuela's 10M Inflation***** rate back in 2019?   https://web.archive.org/web/20210526115836/https://www.cnbc.com/2019/08/02/venezuela-inflation-at-10-million-percent-its-time-for-shock-therapy.html How do you think the people would survive? What about the children? How are they going to eat daily? This is not just a physical war but an emotional and financial war at all costs. The crisis around the world is transparent. Another horrendous effect of not exercising AGAPE to the world which I know is a great factor to consider so that we would live a better life on this planet. This video of Roger Ver regarding Bitcoin Cash can put an end to war and I watched how he almost cried shared about half a million Iraqi children who were killed or rather say murdered with the direct result of US sanctions was heartwarming and so moving. He even uttered how disgusted he was for the statement of the former US Secretary of State. Madeleine Albright when she said, "**We think the Price is worth it.**" She didn't only awaken the mob's mourning but resulted in an outcry. https://odysee.com/$/search?q=roger%20ver https://web.archive.org/web/20210526115836/https://archive.globalpolicy.org/component/content/article/170-sanctions/41952.html ***For Christ's sake how it could be worth killing innocent lives? I can't help burst into tears.*** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74HdaC9IirQ Please let us pause and reflect for a while and genuinely watch the video. Once and for all, let us try to be human and discern why on this green earth we are joining the crypto community? I hope your reason is not just all about money per se. ***Life is bigger than mere financial sustainability.***  On the other hand, I couldn't even imagine how those innocent people were able to live daily? Having that great turmoil whether a bullet will be dispersed randomly. How could we enjoy the comfort when we knew that our brothers and sisters from the other parts of the world are fighting for their lives? Are we just going to watch them over the news or we could be ***PROACTIVE through our small act of kindness?*** Supporting the Cause of the Coin is more substantial when we knew we have done something for others in its most practical aspect. https://odysee.com/$/embed/Why-I-Love-Bitcoin-Cash/527d4244bc2f20e0c7365059f44f7d81d521358a ***AGAPE as an art of loving can not only solve this crisis but using a more practical digital asset in the form of cryptocurrency which can bring more economic freedom to the world.*** The world needs a real, authentic peer-to-peer electronic cash system. I hope we are not blinded by mere metrics, hyping, and standing of a certain cryptocurrency rather dig deeper on the CAUSE of its Coin. Its functionality to help people all over the world in the mode of paying as electronic cash system with a ***F.E.L.R faster, easier, lower transaction fees, and most of all Reliable.*** ** *With the war between Ukraine and Russia today, this is a reminder to us all to aim for a WORLD UNITED.* Let's connect via cointr.ee/patjules https://cointr.ee/patjules Image Source for Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System https://web.archive.org/web/20210520182432/https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper `Header Image: From Pexels edited on Canva` `Dedication Images edited on Canva`

3 Simple Reminders about Working to the UAE for Beginners and Everyone Else Sure, you have heard about the mantra of Nomad Capitalist where he said, “Go where you will be treated best.” This hits me big time knowing other countries have a lot to offer when it comes to "***FREE HEALTHCARE***" for an instance. Given an opportunity to work in the Middle East as a teacher, my notion of the Arabian Peninsula changed. I had never imagined how the desert brings so much good fortune. Socializing people from all walks of life augmented my horizon. Being able to adapt to the norms and customs of the country made me keener on respecting boundaries. Immersing myself in the life of a mixed culture was a great learning experience so to speak. Let me share three of my observations or experiences as a working ex-pat in the Middle East. A Simple reminder so to speak! *****1. Follow Protocols when it's their Holy Month during Ramadan***** I remembered arriving at City Center around 3 pm during Ramadan. Eating from 6 am to 6 pm was not allowed. Regardless of how hungry you were, stuffing oneself in public was strictly forbidden. *I went hiding in a small pizza shop, nibbling that pizza, a guy came up to me and said, "We all wanted that bite of pizza you know! respect the rule of the country!" jeez I felt like being a kindergarten scolded by my teacher.* *****2. No Public Display of Affection while Walking or Dating***** Well, my ex-boyfriend (now my hubby) and I always had our distance whenever we went out on a date when time permits. We do not sit so close to one another while we were chilling at the Cornice Area. There were at least 6 meters to maintain the gap. *We were looking at the lights around 8 pm and it was a bit cold. Winter in the Middle East can be chilly too, so I was waiting for him to hug me. Relieved that we decided to go home instead. How romantic right?* *****3. Be Discreet with your Religious Affiliation Too!***** I am a devout Catholic. My work opportunity in the Middle East has a lot to do with my determination if not of God's Divine Intervention. I believed regardless of how hard you work for your dream goal abroad if it's not your time yet, there would be better chances for a greener pasture. *During our Christmas Celebration, every Sunday Mass presided at a designated area. Qatari Police Officers were checking the place as well to ensure the safety of the people. There were other denominations in the nearby district commemorating their rites too. Christmas decorations and any ornaments were hardly displayed everywhere. There was a huge distinction between being Catholic and its symbolism.* ** ***Currently, I am residing on the pristine island of Seychelles.*** I am enjoying my time emerging with nature and the solemnity of the mountains and the beaches. I love how I manage to adopt the lifestyle of the Seychelloises on a weekend basis. Partying on the beach is so common here and it's like "malling" in the Philippines or Qatar. We all have different ways of spending our time on a weekend and by far chillin on the beach is more relaxing. Affordable too because there's no temptation of buying items. The opportunity to learn about different cultures in a more personal manner paved the way with my unorthodox way of thinking. Diversity allowed me to witness how creative an Arab or a Seychellois culture may be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me9UOvc1hT4 My travel to the Middle East twice last year during the global crisis gave me a new perspective as well. I am forever grateful to Gateway Visa Solution *as my go-to travel company when it comes to my VISA* concerns. Had it not been because of their help, I may not be able to enter Abu Dhabi due to its prerequisite upon entry into the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcQdyYmlFf0 Living abroad has its own perks. If you wanted a varied culture-based experience, then it is time to think about migration. Take my friendly advice as well NOT to DO it alone, rather seek help from professionals and by then you will be able to go out of your comfort zone. You will be SECURED with your undertakings overseas. *Our* *****FREE Webinar every Tuesday at 7 pm UAE time***** *can enlighten your queries should you have further clarifications when it comes to your relocation in Canada or even in Malta for an instance.* ***Sign up*** ***here*** ***for your slot!*** https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfp0Vt_TsCJvFsWTr-pathCd6xSKbZhp_roJ12VEmmVKdD-Ig/viewform?fbzx=5308449916537948200 ** Let's connect via cointr.ee/patjules https://cointr.ee/patjules `Images used are mine (edited on YouCUt). Life is so Uncertain so Face your FEARS just TRAVEL. Abu Dhabi Adventure 2022.2 “***Oh no, Abu Dhabi? Are you joking? I will never travel there!”*** a friend of mine who was so flabbergasted even the thought of a barren region. His contemplation on it is more of an arid and desolate place. He travelled most of the time to Europe so I told him to pay a visit at least for a week in the Middle East and see how vast the world is. As we were having our video calls a week after I arrived in Seychelles and had to chit-chat for his upcoming plan of venturing out to Canada, I was so thrilled to inform him about my recent adventure in the desert. Shocked was an understatement when he found out that I travelled there TWICE last year and intentionally spent my NEW YEAR of 2022 in the dune! ***What in the world, why the desert Pat?*** “he asked in disbelief when I also mentioned I was ALONE! He told me he won’t dare step down in the desert because he’s petrified even pondering the Middle East. According to him, there’s no vibe apart from the desert Safari and the customs of the country however when the pandemic hits the world, I told him there are so many things to appreciate on the enigma of an Arabian Peninsula. *****The Melting Pot of Al Qua!***** “*oh wow! I never thought that the natural colour of the dunes can be very enchanting. As I looked at it intently and couldn’t wait to immerse my feet into it, I was quite astounded as I had the notion it was only those camera tricks from the movies where the arid region was lifeless yet mysterious. It reminded me of the movie the Prince of Persia where it always has a cryptic power as if you will be transported into another dimension of your life's quest!* It never occurred to me that the desert can offer the authenticity of a peaceful milieu. The simplicity it possesses is very far from the city life with those artificial lights as what I always experienced every time I visited the Middle East surprised me to the hilt. I may have worked in Qatar for three years but being able to experience a real dune on my feet, the distinctive and diverse emotions were blatantly telling me to LIVE MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST. Why hang on to solitary when I AM SO BLESSED beyond measure. I was still mourning on the death of my father and at that moment as if the heavens were opened, welcoming my new year with a new angle on how I should deal with life’s adversities. *LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS to be wasted in agony!* Venturing out into the unknown desert brought so much joy to my well-being. I remembered reading one of Paulo Coelho’s novels entitled The Alchemist where he described it as our friend or our enemy. By simply contemplating its message, we will learn how to be more vulnerable with our environment and from there we can attain ***Self-Growth and self-actualizatio***n. ***We have to live daily with a meaningful purpose of our existence and by then we would be able to gain a NEW PERSPECTIVE.*** On the hind side, as I was lying down on the dune, looking at the clouds, an almost sunset so it’s time to go back, there was a Maina Bird and at once the message it conveyed to me was “FOOD!” unfortunately I did not have anything with me apart from my tea and my water bottle in case of necessity so I was only looking at it trying to reply “I am sorry I can’t feed you for now!” Weird as it may sound, but after some time, it flew away and never came back. There was so much CLARITY despite unspoken words but INTUITION and Natural feeling employed. Had I just communicated through silence to that bird? Was that how vigorous the desert could be? As I was pondering on the real essence of life, WORDS are crucial but when you are in a situation wherein you need not to utter words at all because instead of connecting the dot, you are either misunderstood or criticize, the best defense is to FEEL the moment, to USE your GUT, your INSTINCT. **Taking a leap in the** ***desert gave me the CLARITY I needed !*** *****The Camels on the Road***** On the way back to the main city as we were heading to the other route, those three camels caught my attention as well. They were on the side of the road waiting for tourists or anybody else to feed them. The very first thing that came to my mind, was their “SURVIVAL nature in the roasting heat of the desert. Despite the scarcity of food and mostly WATER, I knew in my heart they will make it until their last straw knowing people were visiting them there. Such a relief to know that someone was taking care of them. How naïve of me to have thought they were in dire isolation although a real definition of “QUARANTINE” was clearly shown by those camels. Hence, if you happen to travel to the Middle East, feeding them would be a true gesture of generosity and thoughtfulness. Set aside extra food and water. They would surely love it. I was planning to go back a day before my departure yet it was not feasible anymore due to time constraints. In my heart, I knew I would be coming back to feed them!!! Inshallah! *****and the Sun Set to Love the Most!***** *The title of the poem "The Sunset Lover" which I have originally written from a GIF of the video and while I was looking into it, the sunset gave me an impression of so many mixed emotions but one thing was sure, I am a lover when the sun is about to set! It literally gave me a NEW HOPE! NEW BEGINNING! https://odysee.com/$/embed/Melting-Pot-of-Al-Qua-and-Walking-Adventure-in-Abu-Dhabi-2022.2/21b4560508a621b019226b9ecc5f1ec73189f8ec? Here’s why! ******The Sunset Lover***** *As the dusk fall!* *Driving back to our life’s call* *Focusing only the split second to hold!* ***As the sun was about to set* *Reminded only of the beauty it can reflect* *Fleeting moment to cherish and to collect!* *A peaceful journey shared, emotions accepted!* ****Oh, sand dune I shall step foot on you again!* *You brought CLARITY to my brain!* *Taking the journey of life like a wagon train!* *No time for whining, whispering only in a wilderness of Al Ain!* ** Let's connect via cointr.ee/patjules https://cointr.ee/patjules `Images used are mine edited on Canva` https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? *If we can print our own money, the better for the economy*!

New Perspective for 2022 while Travelling twice to the Middle East despite the Global Crisis! "***Life is so uncertain, so FACE your FEARS and just TRAVEL***!" this has been my mantra whenever I feel like I am engulfed with fear and anxiety going out from my comfort zone here in the pristine island of Seychelles. https://read.cash/@PatsKy8135/life-is-so-uncertain-so-face-your-fears-and-just-travel-e77dd99c *****My 2021 has taught me so many great lessons in life and what hit me big time was the death of my father*****. In his last fatherly advice, he told me to see the world and I shall bring him with me in spirit. My father was supposedly be travelling to Seychelles had his situation allowed him to be onboard but deep inside my heart, I knew he wanted to see the grandeur of God's blessings, one of which he loved to travel around. Travelling during the pandemic can be very risky if not scary yet it truly gave me a NEW PERSPECTIVE for my 2022. At the end of the day, when we die, we have so many things to be grateful for in life because we have seen and emerged ourselves into the hidden beauty of the unknown. Can we truly assure ourselves that despite staying safe and healthy we would live for eternity? physically not but spiritually yes, so I believed in a most transcendental way. Anyhow, I took the courage to travel for the second time to the Middle East ALONE and my husband has to understand I NEED a "ME TIME." It came to a point to settle our marriage crisis, thus I had to keep my DISTANCE and SPACE even for 12 days. What mattered to me was the time and not just the length of stay although it may not be enough but direly needed to what I call my "PEACEFUL TIME for MYSELF." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptb_JWY9e_k I was so excited to be on board via Etihad Airways whereby I was given a complimentary ticket for the biggest event in the Middle East, Expo2020 which was held in Dubai. There was a free bus ride and all we needed to show was our ticket, however, due to spiking cases as omicron was also very active during my trip, I cancelled my Expo plan but truly enjoyed my time in Abu Dhabi, getting lost in the middle of the desert and walking for two hours, asking for directions towards the Corniche Area. It was a trip I would be forever grateful that I took the courage to be a ***Solo Traveler*** because for the past six years, travelling with my husband while he did all the talking at the immigration ( well at least here in Seychelles upon entry) I was so dependent on him, indirectly letting myself to be so UNRELIABLE thus leading me to be anxious at how it would be travelling alone this time. Later did I realize that allowed myself cling on him even on small things like packing our pieces of luggage and all I did was look at how he put everything in order. He's so used to travel at an early age therefore told me he's an expert at packing. It came to a point that I was exhausted arguing with such a petty thing. The kind of situation where you could say, *I wanted it this way, he wanted it that way! darn!* Travelling solo has the great advantage of being AUTONONOMOUS and SELF-RELIANT thus able to survive on your own regardless of the situation because you are self-sufficient, nonpartisan and solely dependent on YOURSELF. ***January 1, 2022, that Sand Dunes Adventure at Al Q'uaa*** I may have worked in Qatar for three years but I rarely had a real experience of what it was to walk through and to lie down on the dunes, to feed the camels and to enjoy the calmness of the Arabian Peninsula. There was a extraordinary spell which drown me into it that I hardly took a video because I don't want to spoil the solemnity, and majestic gravity of the place. Added to the have witnessed the *sunset on top of the highest dunes*, bestowed an ardour of serenity and tranquility while heaven opened up for that PEACEFUL moment which my inner self genuinely needed and wanted,..... *I felt like I have conquered my fears and the uncertainties above everything else. At that moment alone, what mattered was my communion with myself , with the place and with the transcendental escapade in the desert.* ***My Travel Adventure Gave me a New Perspective about Myself!*** My travel adventure was so personal to me that I needed it to reunite with what I had lost. For six years of being so tolerant with everyone around me thinking that it was the best thing to do, it was too late to envision that it led me to lose my identity. The very practical example of travelling ALONE scared the hell out of me not because I am alone but because the inner voices of my younger self telling me the world is so scary, considering the pandemic not to mention venturing out in the desert, it's like beating my head against a stone wall. Even my family told me not to travel because it is risky, scary, dangerous, wasting money and so many other things. I knew they love me but heck I need to recollect myself, so I shut all of them and took the courage to tell my husband that I NEEDED THIS TRAVEL FOR MYSELF. It was so empowering for me to finally show them that I wanted myself back and that I am responsible with my life calibrating towards the goal for sovereignty!!! I am also very grateful to our ma @TigerLily/Dreemsteem and dada @BluefinStudios during our Uptrennd University years whereby they both have enlightened me to work for myself, my life's purposeful existence and most especially during my marital crisis. That lowest point of my life when ma @TigerLily shared that song from Casting Crowns "Just Be Held" until today whenever I felt like being dragged back to one of the darkest hours, her words of wisdom always resonated and I'm ready to face my challenges again. https://3speak.tv/user/tigerlily https://3speak.tv/user/bluefinstudios ***I am forever grateful! Hassle-Free (Visa Assistance) and Travel Easy with Gateway Visa Services *Have you always had difficulties securing your Visa whenever you travel to countries that require it before your entry?* Well, fret no more because my trip to the UAE twice this year gave me an opportunity which I think could help a lot of people from different nationalities who would want to venture out for a greener pasture either in Canada, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Poland and Malta, or who want to acquire citizenship especially for ***St. Kitts and Nevis whereby Roger Ver*** had shared on his video ***here.*** https://odysee.com/@RogerKVer:9/roger-ver-a-love-story-with-saint-kitts:c I believed my travel was not mainly for leisure alone but greater purpose and mission. I had a chance to meet a dear friend of mine with whom I haven't spoken in years and when our paths crossed once again, I knew from then on I won't have to worry about securing my Visa whenever I plan to travel annually with my family abroad. That feeling of SECURITY and worry-free hit me hard at once the moment I found out that she's an *Immigration Consultant* from one of the best and LEGIT firms in the Middle East, wherein their office in the Gateway Visa Services is located in Dubai. I would say it's one of those "aha moments" I had, considering that I had been scammed upon applying for work in Canada a long time back before venturing out in Qatar, I knew Mia (the blonde hair on the pic) and Rhea are the two amazing souls who can help your dream ****Fortunately Unfortunate to be in Seychelles ( In terms of Visa applications) to Countries that Require Entry!*** Having worked and lived here in Seychelles gave me vast opportunities to take an annual trip overseas because going out of the country does not take too many hassles at the immigration provided that I have all my necessary documents secured. This includes my ***GOP (Gainful Occupational Permit) from the Ministry of Education, my marriage certificate, my Permanent Residence Permit, my updated NIN and my passport valid for at least 10 years.*** Travelling back to my country was easy and to other countries which do not require a visa upon entry however, I wanted to go back to the ***Middle East as a tourist*** and not as a working ex-pat this time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptb_JWY9e_k My experience of travelling to Abu Dhabi last October with my family was smooth sailing at the Immigration in Seychelles however the "VISA" application was one of my biggest worries while being here. ***Do you want to know why?*** The fact that we don't have a Philippine Embassy in Seychelles although there's a representative here yet they don't process the visa at all. Our Embassy is based in Nigeria and they came only twice in a year through passport renewal by schedule likewise travel agencies do not cater for this purposes to working expatriates which means we have to ask assistance from our respective embassy yet having no personal contact there would mean having my application be wasted. So my last resort was was through FB Immigration Agency Groups managed by Filipinos in the Middle East at its closest proximity from Seychelles. Four hours and a half flight yet take precautionary measures when it comes to ***VISA*** assistance especially online transactions which can be a bit risky due to SCAMS lingering around. I was lucky I stumbled into an agency that was very helpful and our consistent communication through WhatsApp was a relief knowing that she's also a Filipina and without further hesitations, I trusted her with all the details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3LG8QPw7k4 The agency is LEGIT and they're very fast when it comes to the approval of my visa where I was so surprised to have it a day after paying the amount of *****500AED.***** Had I not leapt to travel to Dubai to meet Mia and Divine, the long time friends from our Focolare Family, I wouldn't know that with Gateway, 460AED is their processing fee. If you would convert it to Philippine Peso it would cost only 6228PHP. A difference of 40AED can buy you things although it's not much of a big fuss but *****helping a friend, sharing the same mission of securing proper documentation for those who wanted work permit or even Permanent Residency in Canada***** for example is the real deal here. ****Your Dream of Living, Working or even Starting up a Business Overseas can be Possible with*** ***GVS*** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcQdyYmlFf0 For nine years of living and working abroad, my greatest joy is to share how this dream of others too can be possible should you have a LEGIT company that caters for your need likewise who truly assists you with authenticity and transparency. I left the Philippines in July of 2012 and it was through an Agency looking for Teachers bound for Qatar. They did all the necessary documentation and still, I paid d 50,000php. Visa, airfare, accommodation and free ticket after three years were stipulated in my contract so I went ahead. Now with **Gateway**, one of the most practical things that the company has helped me was securing my VISA with a Minimal Fee but on top of everything, what I wanted to point out is that it is very rare to find ***TRUSTED PEOPLE*** when it comes to your plans of venturing out overseas. This blog is my first-hand experience without sugar-coating as I was so excited together with those who can make their dreams a reality with GATEWAY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcQdyYmlFf0 ***What's the Rationale?*** *Things are easier and most of all convenient should you have* *****trusted people***** *to do the necessary documents when it comes to securing your travel experience.* *** *More on my Financial Literacy posts* *here* https://cointr.ee/patjules `#ShoutOuts to my sponsors for their generosity and quality posts as always!` *Some images used in these posts are mine edited via Twitter and Canva (as per Financial Literacy) and the rest are from our webinars at Gateway. Cheque Deposited for Sage: Why I'm a Sucker of Insurance Policies? How would you feel if ever you received a call saying that you won in the lottery? Heck, I don't join the lottery so at the back of my mind, it was a joke. All the while I thought it was a prank call because there were times when random numbers would call me and would say, it's a wrong identity hence I did not bother to answer it all. Likewise, I was thinking it was also another parent who would want to ask for their children's assignments whereby they don't like to be added in our group to be updated for anything about school-related matters. So I considered the call null and void. That was last week! twice in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I got the same call again a day after from the same number so I decided to answer it. The caller talked in French Creole and I got a notion that she asked for my name as per confirmation purposes by saying, "*hello am I speaking to Mrs. Albert?" This is concerning Sage Albert's Junior Policy at HSI Insurance Company.*" I was wondering because we had paid for Sage's premium and never did it occur to me that the policy of my baby won a lottery worth $$$$. Surprised was understatement. Oh wow, I rarely DO NOT ADHERE nor believe in a lottery, so this must be what the definition of LUCK is all about lmao! *****Why Invest in Insurance (Health, Life and Education?)***** I am a sucker of anything that has something to do with "insurance" by the term itself, regardless of how newbie you are, consider it like your "PROTECTIVE BLANKET or like an UMBRELLA". Take a simple analogy when the rain comes, the most practical stuff we can use to cover ourselves is an umbrella, right? I always relate "insurance" to an umbrella knowing how it protects me from getting soaked/wet. In the Philippines, considering Financial Literacy as my Advocacy, I already invested my hard-earned money while working overseas into "***Life and Health Insurance"*** because of my long term goal wherein I will never know when I would be hospitalized or whenever health problems may occur. I could not emphasize enough how "Health Insurance" in my country is such a LIFE-SAVER when it comes to hospitalization bills. My heart breaks whenever I recalled how my father suffered from cancer and eventually had his remaining days at home as his decision but thank God during his *****in and out from a private hospital*****, it was reimbursed with the stipulated amount on the policy I bought. Hence when it comes to *"insurance" as per experience, it is with great relief that it helps when hospitalization bills arise.* Honestly speaking, it saved me from further financial mishaps had I not bought health insurance for my papa and for my mama. This is I think the best way I show my love for them. Loving them in the most practical way through paying their premium annually. On the other hand, although here in Seychelles, Health Care is FREE so we don't worry about investing in it however when it comes to EDUCATION per se, although it is still FREE and if you would still do your best to acquire a scholarship overseas, the only thing you do is to STUDY your best, exert your effort to maintain the marks and the government will fund it for you. *****But why do I still opt to buy Junior Policy for my Baby?***** Well, my simple reason is that "***who knows what lies ahead!***" *at least he would have better options whatever courses he would like to take.* As of the moment, his penchant is into "aircraft and anything to do with engines thus boiling down to "Aircraft Engineer or Pilot" which I believe is quite an expensive course so to speak. He may have interests in technology as he's exposed with his "Policar" animated shows, still, my main point is that when it comes to his Education, he would have better options unlike in my case wherein I'm only left with "teaching!" alone. My parents could hardly afford to send me to Ateneo De Davao University whereby my first choice was to take up Business Management if not Journalism. Teaching is a vocation, at the same time I was offered a scholarship, so I took Education instead and proceed with my masters for another scholarship program run by the Jesuits. Philosophically speaking, when it comes to "Education" in the Philippines, we also have high calibre and outputs. *****Invest in your Education.***** ***Investing in our Education is by far the most empowering decision one can achieve in life.*** There are things money can't buy however when you use it for your advantage, you can serve others the most. Here in Seychelles, Education is not fully actualized by the students especially in the state school because reality check regardless if they earned it or not, they are ASSURED of work afterwards. Education is not their gateway towards employment alone however those who truly value what they have achieved in school ended up living their dream life. Realizing this, made me think about how my baby's generation would be in the next decades. The education system may transition from a highly advanced technology but my main point is to have Sage prepare for the best. I want him to freely choose whatever courses he wanted to take so the earlier we prepared him for it, the better. *Therefore investing in his* ***Education by means of buying a Junior Policy Plan which also has other privileges is an advantage.*** *****What's the Rationale?***** As a first-time mom of my 33 months old toddler and had seen how EDUCATION expenses can be so overwhelming, to the point of having students' loans skyrocket every year, I am still a believer in insurance "*****insurance policies*****" that could help my baby explore more options should the time comes he will be going for his advanced level education. *****Preparation takes time and the best way to do it is NOW!***** *** https://noise.cash/c/patjules83-v21grjl8 Let's connect via cointree https://cointr.ee/patjules `Images used in this post are mine edited on Canva` *****#ShoutOut to my sponsors for their generosity and quality posts as always!***** https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? *if we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*

Are You An Independent and an Empowered Woman? I have been enjoying "reels" lately on Instagram which were not only funny, relaxing but also empowering because there were some "reels" that I found very powerful, substantial when it comes to sending messages to all the women in the world. This is not the kind of Beyonce's "who runs the world" rather this is more about giving FREEDOM what is due for a woman. I came across the *****"JUST ME!*****" reel whereby the audio went like this! *****"Just another day of ME going to work ...***** *because...* *who else will take me on trips?* *who else will buy me a house?* *who else will pay for my nails?* ?????? with all conviction... *****"ME!"*****  duh, (eye-rolling) you got this girl, the message was loud and clear! Feed yourself and *****BE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT!***** yet some egoistic male species would not love to hear this from a female perspective because there were some men I knew and a good friend of mine who love to pamper their women luxuriously. Giving them what they wanted either emotionally or materially.  During my master's thesis back in the university whereby I was surrounded by *"philosophers'*' mostly our conversation was mainly on how they felt so proud of themselves for being able to provide for their women. How they have gained confidence towards the opposite sex by mainly being able to play the role of a "provider" or someone who paid the bill. The idea of co-dependency is quite unfavourable for me that's why when I got married, hubby and I shared our expenses of which I insisted. Our recent overseas trip was my initiative and computed shares of our flights, hotel, allowances and any other expenses for the whole duration of our holiday in the Middle East. Does this make my hubby less of a man in the family?  Heck NO! Please know I am into FAIRNESS and EQUALITY more than anything else despite your preferred gender much more your role in the family or the society per se. Whether a husband or a wife. I believed more on 50-50 in all of its aspects. *****Should First-Time Dating be a Man's Responsibility to Pay?***** This blog covers my personal experience concerning my first-time dating back when I was working as a teacher in the Middle East and my ex-boyfriend (now my hubby) decided to meet personally. He called it our first date! I was just curious about him for real so I agreed, lol, didn't mention before that I wasn't really into him because my sole purpose of being in the Arabian Peninsula was to work and dating was not part of my agenda.  Not until meeting my hubby got me into thinking deeply. According to Kim Elsesser, *Senior Contributor of Forbes in her article regarding the Contribution of Gender Pay Gap* during the "first dates" said that research *****indicates this chivalrous tradition needs to end if women expect to be treated as equals at work*****. This may go beyond the first dates but it has an indirect impact on the treatment women get even in their workplace.  https://www.forbes.com/sites/kimelsesser/ ***This is not also to point out that women will shoulder the bill but the idea of splitting is way much better.***  Let me tell you how our first date went. So my ex-boyfriend and I decided to meet on "***Fridays*** " whereby it's 20 minutes drive from where I was staying so it's more convenient. It was a very casual met up and we mainly talked about anything under the sun apart from political views. We talked for nearly six hours straight until it was time to go home. It was 10 pm to be exact. *****Now the bill came.***** Initially, the waitress handed the bill to Patrick and he gave his card instead of cash. Very tricky because I told him I wanted to share the expenses because we met up as friends somehow. From my previous statement, it was not a date rather a meet up so at that time I felt the need to share the cost. Of course, as a gentleman, he boldly said, he won't allow me to do such and no hard feelings on his part because from our first meeting he can sense how independent I am in a good way not giving him the feeling that I can also pay. ***Gone are the days that dating must only be shouldered by men*** *although alter ego, and out of "chivalrous contribution" I allowed Patrick to pay for everything on the menu.* Although I made it clear to him should we decide to go on the meeting which I felt like our first date (lol) then he has to allow me to split the bill. I am more into "***sharing the cost***" rather than letting my date pay for everything especially if it's every week although most of the time, he would say...LET ME DO THE HONOUR! *****Is it Empowering for a Woman to be Financially Independent? Or does it jeopardize her dating moment?***** I have read in an article how a woman's financial independence can somehow threaten men although independence is not absolute in a way that it can't be true for others, however, it can be an issue even to married couples. My financial independence is part of who I am and my husband is never threatened with it yet when it comes to a personal and isolated decision, we always have something to argue on. For example, this flight that I booked ALONE attending Expo in Dubai for 12 days and taking it as my mini-holiday away from the family is indeed "EMPOWERING" for me. Momshies and all those first-time moms, please know we need a time-out for ourselves. It is very crucial to our self-growth and mental health above all else. ***Now I would like to leave this question I asked @forbescover via*** ***Noisecash*** https://noise.cash/u/PatJules83 `Images (Lead) used in this post are mine edited on Canva` Let's connect via cointree https://cointr.ee/patjules https://noise.cash/c/patjules83-v21grjl8 `#SHOUTOUT to my sponsors for their generosity and quality post as always` https://read.cash/@Pantera/bitworkersscash-will-be-a-blast-be28886d https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? ***If we can print our own money, the better for the economy!***

Why Do We Need to Invest? Or Is it Enough to Save? ***Have you been in a situation whereby you kept on running the rat race? Are you able to figure out why at the end of the month your salary is not enough? Why do you think most ex-pats are not able to save if not invest their hard-earned money?*** ***My personal advocacy on Financial Literacy*** Money is the by-product of our services being rendered as a means of exchange either trading or bartering, it is an end to make amends and the most compelling reason for accumulating money per se is that it is our ***VOICE*** `as` *what* ***Roger Ver*** had shared on his video here. https://odysee.com/@Bitcoincom:c/roger-ver-money-is-our-voice:8 Likewise, my work experience in the Middle East has taught me great lessons when it comes to my finances as I thought earning it was easy. I was a working ex-pat who rendered my service as a teacher in an International School and being paid through extra tutorial lessons was quite fulfilling. On top of everything, I enjoyed what I was doing, exerted my hundred per cent effort into what my passion in life which is TEACHING. Although earning was part of it, I almost fell into the trap of a rat race cycle and before. I would lose the balance between my career and what’s most vital in life, I took the courage to let go especially when it comes to my SPENDING HABIT when payday comes. Three Things that I find valuable when you’re in a situation whereby as an ex-pat you NEED to learn these, need to put it by heart so you can actualize. ***It was easier to spend adopting the YOLO (You Online Live Once) lifestyle.*** ***It was not a long-term goal since we would go back to our respective countries after our contracts.*** ***It was not a guarantee for our retirement security.*** As part of the employment force, I have a fair share of good SALARY (fixed amount) yet it was easier to SPEND because the idea of SALE was everywhere. For example, after Ramadan, 50-70% off was so tempting that I even opted to buy those shoes and bags I rarely used at all. For accumulation purposes, it gave me immediate short-term happiness however the real value has forfeited because as time went by, being able to sell it at a lower price was not ideal. I had compiled more than the allowed kilogram for travelling back to the Philippines hence the most practical option was to sell those items on a dip. Did I gain? *Well, not monetary per se but an experience and a lesson learned that next time around I should be more* ***prudent.*** ***Proper Guidance when it comes to the Security of our Retirement is Vital*** The short-term happiness that those items had given me brought so much ***anguish to my pocket*** therefore I forced myself to learn the basics of INVESTING. The fundamental concept on how I can let my money grow and work for me when retirement comes were so motivating that I had to read further, research, did my due diligence and register for paid subscriptions so that the ***GUIDANCE*** I will need would be at my finger-tips. There were moments that my brain would explode because I wanted to understand the simplest idea of buying and selling, the board lot, the technical indicators, the amount of money to invest, the timing, the percentage of ROI and many other considerable factors before I finally bought my first shares of ***stocks and even crypto***. I was so determined to learn this basic knowledge because gambling would be the next best thing and I don’t want it to happen. ***How about Cash Dividend?*** You bet I was so ecstatic when I received my ***CASH DIVIDEND*** from one of my stocks at ***#AREIT*** just within a year of buying at a price when it went down dipping. Studying how it would help me attain my financial goal in a long term perspective gave me security on my portfolio. Looking in depth in the psychology of the market, the downtrend, the uptrend, the sideways movement, being so keen on my portfolio, the main consideration I always bear in mind is to practice SELF-DISCIPLINE. We heard this many times when it comes to investing our hard-earned money in a vehicle that would give us an ROI of at least 13% annually, glad that my MBT shares gave me this. ***So why do we need to invest?*** An article written that Overseas Filipinos Workers returned home poor and without savings after all was quite disturbing. Filipinos spent most of their hard-earned money sending it to their families in the Philippines without setting aside for their investment, at least 5-10%. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/21632324.2020.1787100 On the other hand, I am not much into speculation as I preferred mainly how I could ***UTILIZE*** digital assets on my small-scale online business that’s why I am always a supporter of ***BCH*** because *when it comes to utility, Bitcoin Cash is the KEY!* *****What's the Rationale?***** This post is intended for those who do not have the luxury of time to study the movement of the market and for those who wanted to let their money grow so that when retirement comes, they won’t have the headache to support their lifestyle. Sir ***Rex Mendoza, CEO of Rampver Financials*** in his video about “Practical Wealth Management for OFWs” said that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyqj0qROiYM *Financial security can be computed!* because it’s all about the power of choice! Do You have 3A's of Opportunities amidst the Pandemic? ***Always see the silver lining of everything regardless of how difficult the situation there is, remember that opportunities always emerge.*** Many of the financial experts that I have been following for over a decade always have a proper mindset when it comes to a crisis. They knew how to bounce back when ***"Black Swan"*** reoccurring happened, described it as an opportunity to take. I had been into so many challenges in life that I could say it boosted immunity to the economic crisis, shifted my gear to see it from a broader perspective. Let me also share that when I took the road less traveled in the field of personal finance with whom among my friends and my family circle, it was a decision with a constant reminder that I did it out of my goal to retire securely and comfortably. The most practical approach I did to validate my action was to book our family trip to the Middle East amid the pandemic whereby travel restrictions were in full range yet the only consideration was that Seychelles is among the "GREEN LISTS" countries that have a lenient mandated quarantine once arriving to Abu Dhabi or in any part of the GCC. *****This boldest act I called my Epiphany***** which taught me 3 great lessons in all areas of my life which are so valuable to me and to those who found their authentic essence of existence. First Lesson: *****The Opportunity to Accept (Referring to my Emotional and Spiritual Growth***** The hardest part being overseas was seeing my father over our constant zoom or video calls that particular day last June 2, 2021, which got my heart pounding terribly, and only when I said, "it's okay papa, it's time to go. God is calling you Home!" ***He passed away in solemnity.*** My father's demise brought so much void in the family emotionally and spiritually that brought me to the realization of ACCEPTANCE about our life's fleeting moment, it is very uncertain and we will never know our expiration date. My Head of the Department called my husband to take me home and Sage said that his "*grandpapa Donis was just sleeping*" as he saw him over the phone. Accepting the reality that we won't be able to see my papa whenever we visit them in the country is an opportunity to make most of our quality time together as a family. Second Lesson: *****The Opportunity to Accumulate (Referring to my Financial and Mental Growth)***** According to Rex Mendoza, CEO of Rampver Financials in the Philippines, Financial wellness as he explained is having financial security and financial freedom of choice in the present and in the future whereby security in the perspective of being able to provide what we truly deserve or what we should afford so we can enjoy out of what we are capable of providing hence jeopardizing if we live beyond our means. The idea of ***Delayed Gratification*** fits well into this principle on Personal Finance considering that we have to sacrifice now to enjoy what we can reap for tomorrow however, *****would it be best if we can enjoy both today and the future?***** Therefore, I would say that this pandemic provides vast opportunities for us if we are in tune with the right mindset. Having the freedom a choice to eat fried fish or stake based on our wants and not merely needs. As per my financial investments, both in fiat and crypto, accumulating volumes is an edge now that we could see a downtrend of our go-to currencies or stocks. Regardless of the market's movement, TIMING is not the key but TIME IN instead, it's like saying, you can only win the game if you're in the game. Make sense right? Third Lesson: *****The Opportunity to Actualize (Referring to my Inter-Personal Growth)***** When I took the courage to travel to the Middle East and booked our family trip for 12 days, despite the restrictions, it gave me a strong conviction that "***ABUNDANCE is everywhere!*** Given the circumstances on the hospitalization bills of my father which cost almost half a million in less than two months, it hit me big time that ***MONEY is an Energy.*** According to Brian Tracy, ***"how you perceive it will determine how much of it you make."*** I never doubted my capacity to sustain and to provide for papa's medication because in my heart it gave me the stamina to give him the best, and the comfort he badly needed. The mental exercises I always practice is that "the more I give, the more abundance comes back to me and through the generosity I do without doubting that I can AFFORD it, whatever it takes, I would be able to provide for my father's need." There was one instance whereby my sister took care of papa at the hospital together with his four doctors who advised that he would be at the ICU and *35, 000 PHP daily* fee was quite overwhelming, but in my heart and my mind, I never doubted that I can afford it. This I would take the credit for the *****Health and Life Insurances I bought for my parents.***** Likewise taken into account how ***GIVING*** brought me joy when I secretly gave "***tips***" back at the hotel, for example, to those waiters, to those receptionists, to the "friend" one who cleaned our room, to the security guard, to the one who took our items of luggage, and to those whom I felt inspired to share tip a bit especially to Foud who has been so kind and so patient to accommodate us when we arrived at the hotel earlier as expected and to some workers who were serving us every meal because back when I was working as one of the food crews in a restaurant in my country during my university years, even a small tip created an impact to me and to my colleagues. I put myself into their shoes so whenever we went down for breakfast, I made sure I had separate bills to give them and seeing their joy made me the happiest, *****giving me back a good feeling of money being an energy when shared equally creates more abundance to everybody.***** *****What's the Rationale?***** I am convinced that this pandemic opens up more OPPORTUNITIES to those who have broader perspective likewise it gives us the chance to see things that all these are seasons and it will come to pass. So again whenever you feel like FEAR is engulfing your system, ACT whatever it is that scare the hell out of you just like how a dear friend told me, ***"BE BOLD, BE RECKLESS and only then you will ENRICH yourself!.*** I compiled our Abu Dhabi-Dubai Travel 2021 into this video. Expo2020Dubai: More Opportunities to Venture out in the Middle East It was an opportunity to be able to travel during these trying times yet the uncertainties of our existence give me more encouragement to see things from a broader perspective, just like how I describe, if you want to *face your fears, shake them off, just TRAVEL.* Traveling to Abu Dhabi, an hour's drive from Dubai was a good opportunity to witness an extravaganza Opening Ceremony of Expo Dubai 2020 last September 30 around 8 am, when we were given the invitation to watch it on a big screen from Radisson Blu hotel where we stayed, although we went to Dubai a week before the event, I had a preconceived idea how a six- month Expo brings so many opportunities for people all around the globe. *****Crypto and BlockChain Expo: What's in it for us Expats?***** Among the highlights, I wanted to attend is the Crypto and Blockchain event. I managed to secure my FREE ticket entry when I registered earlier however due to unforeseen schedule at school, it is with a heavy heart not to attend the Expo at all, anyhow I still have five more months to go back and see how things would be when it is culminating, perhaps saving the best for last. Looking forward that Dubai or Abu Dhabi would adopt *crypto as a mode of payment hence through this Expo, sending money overseas will be easier and most of all cheaper. It is an exciting moment how the digitalization of money can bring so much impact to the world knowing that fiat is prone to inflation.* https://cryptoexpodubai.com As an investor, trader, and believer of ***Bitcoin Cash*** for an instance, it is with high hopes that a country especially the Middle East will now be opened to adopt cryptocurrency. From my point of view, the system of payment in the world needs overhauling because fiat when being converted to a particular currency weakens its monetary value. Expo Dubai 2020 is an opportunity to be taken advantage of if you’re already in the Middle East or if you’re traveling from October 2021 until March 2022, just secure your pertinent travel documents and you’re good to go. As from experience, it is still very safe to travel there, likewise, this is the time to showcase what each country can offer and what it can bring to the world so we could have an easier and more convenient means especially when sending money abroad and the hassles accompanied with *****Higher Transaction Fees***** is not practical at all. Let me give you a real-life scenario especially if you’re based in Seychelles. *****Application of Tourist Visa for Non-Seychellois is a Must!***** I need to secure a tourist visa upon entry in Abu Dhabi or within the seven emirates in the UAE because here in Seychelles they don’t cater such application for a non-Seychellois. The locals here have FREE ENTRY or Visa upon Arrival for 30 days. On the other hand, as for my case as I still have four more years to obtain my citizenship, it is mandated to secure a visa. Thank God I managed to ask assistance from ***SteadFast Agency whereby Robbie Eslegue*** had been very helpful during the whole process of my application. Our constant communication through WhatsApp assured me that their company is legit, affordable, fast, and reliable. ***The huge disadvantage of paying my visa through Remittance Exchange from Seychelles boiled down to the highest transaction fee of $45 whereby a tiny fee of 500 AED or $132 for the application cost me 2523 SCR or $180.*** Sorting out other options, Paypal is not even applicable just yet. Not only there’s the limitation the fact that there’s a monopoly in terms of sending money. Both of my banks declined my transaction for no apparent reason hence I was advised to go to Western Union, however the same as using Bitcoin while paying your purchases online for $20 with a transaction fee higher than $45 was insane. For some, it might not be a lot but multiple transactions with higher fees will never be a good option. If there’s a way where we could pay with a LOWER, CHEAPER, transaction fees, and faster enough, why won’t we adopt crypto especially Bitcoin Cash for more reliable transactions? If you’re a smart investor, you would also consider how transaction fees can sink a big boat. Our Financial mentors said we also are keen on TF! ***BITCOIN CASH Is my go-to-crypto when paying online. UTILITY is the K***EY! I have had multiple transactions from the past whereby Bitcoin Cash saved me from further mishaps of sending money overseas wherein I don’t need to think about transaction fees at all, a portion of a penny as what Roger Ver has described makes it more appealing to users. ***Bitcoin Cash is just money when utilized the most can surely bring more impact to the world.*** On the other hand with the blockchain event on October 13-15 in Dubai, I believe this is the beginning of a more borderless mode of payment and sending money all over the globe, anytime, anywhere even from the comfort of your home as long as you’re online. *****What's the Rationale?***** I have been exposed to the lifestyle and the customs of the Middle East for three years and the fact that I managed to survive the excruciating heat, SELF-DISCIPLINE is one of the biggest factors to balance your work and your side hustles. Should you decide to invest in yourself by making most of the opportunities that are available in the Middle East just like the Expo that is going for six months, you got the best time of your life taking this chance to expose yourself of vast chances. I used to believe that opportunities only knock once, heck when you're in the Arabian Peninsula, it's available 24/7, so what are you waiting for? Fly via Etihad or Emirates and grab your Free Ticket! Life is so Uncertain, so Face Your Fears and just Travel Life is what we make it and our holiday to Abu Dhabi had given me a new perspective on how our existence is just so fleeting. LIFE IS SO UNCERTAIN indeed. I met a friend whom I haven’t seen in 7 years after we worked in the Middle East only to find out that she had experienced a very challenging situation while working in the desert. Life could have been taken from her easily had she not have the courage to take things easy. Catching up with the time, our conversation was full of reflection, manifesting how the idealism of finding the balance between life and work as an ex-pat abroad. Stepping into an Arabian Peninsula after 6 years and this time around as a tourist, enjoying what the desert can offer was quite weird. I mean thinking that things were quite challenging considering the pandemic but one thing I am sure of, LIFE IS SO UNCERTAIN. I won’t have the guts to write on this if I didn’t take the courage to push through this vacation for 12 days in Abu Dhabi. It was with strong conviction that I have to make the bravest decision to step out of my comfort zone. Life is bigger than what I could think of because there were so many things that have happened to the family this year including the death of my father. Who would have thought that papa would go home to heaven this year although he didn’t die from covid but with cancer, indeed life has so many uncertainties, given the circumstances, I faced my fears hence opted to travel and I couldn't be happier seeing things from the dimension greater than earning money as a whole. So let me start sharing when we... *****Arrived at Radisson Blu Hotel in Yas Island earlier than expected check-in time.***** When I booked the ticket for our 11-night stay, the earlier checked in time I got was around 3 pm! Considering the 4 hours and 30 minutes of flight, it was comprehensible that we would come out from the airport around 8 am more or less with all the hassles of checking in at the custom. Lo and behold, we got out at 5:20 am, earlier than expected and our adventure just started. As we walked through our way out from the airport, we managed to bump into a friend who was staying at Park Inn hotel, adjacent to Radisson Blu and we took the taxi together dividing the cost of the fare which was around 40 AED, 20AED per share. The sun was not fully up as it was still a bit dark on the road so we hardly saw anything at all. Sage on the other hand was still so sleepy. Exactly 30 minutes upon arrival at Radisson Blu, the hotel was still so quiet and Foud, the kindest and most helpful staff accommodated us, suggested that he can upgrade our stay for an additional fee of 775AED multiply it 3.78 SCR which was around 2906.75 SCR fair enough for 11 nights stay compared to our two nights of around 2500SCR in Cerf Island, a total of around 1077.87USD! Facing the golf view and swimming pool area, the upgrade was all worth it. There were times that MONEY can give us what we truly deserve during our holiday. I took the time out for an hour and we started our funny, amusing, and kinda challenging journey. *****We got lost going to Yas Mall.***** So I thought I had everything I knew checking on youtube from those vloggers who had their amazing videos about Yas Island. Generally, it's a tourist destination which is 20-30 minutes away from Abu Dhabi International Airport which was cool however it’s an hour drive going to the main city in Abu Dhabi whereby the cost of the taxi would range around 70 AED which was quite expensive although it’s cheaper by bus yet it would take you ages to reach your destination. The cost was only 2AED as long as you have your Bus card by the way. Anyhow after unpacking our things, we started to roam around with the weather of 39degrees, quite hot actually but it was fun. Thinking that I took the right path going to Yas Mall to buy food for lunch and for dinner as I only booked for breakfast, we started walking and my instinct told me that we’re not going to where we're supposed to be heading. Workers were looking at the three of us walking saying that there’s a bus going to Yas Mall and it’s a bit far from the hotel on foot, so we ended up going back to Radisson Blu and took the shuttle which has its schedule dropping tourists to the following destinations for FREE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkSUZf5Ey4w *****Yas Mall Entry on the First Day! September 20, 2021 at around 10am!***** The entrance was quite solemn as we entered Yas Mall because there was a separate parking space for a shuttle from the hotel. Should you decide to take the taxi, you have to go to the other side of the mall whereby it would cost you 20AED one way! Upon entry at the mall, the security guard will ask your **v*******accination card/certificates, what kind of vaccines you took, whether your passport has a stamp at the back among the green list country together with your recent PCR test upon arrival in the country.***** The PCR test we took 48 hours prior to our flight was null and void, otherwise, every 6 days as we stayed for 12 days, we were required for PCR tests or else you will face the consequence of not being able to roam around at all. ***Thank God all results were negative!!!*** Despite the restrictions, I have realized that it *is when* ***we face our FEARS of Travelling again that we could say LIFE has taken its important lesson in us.*** We managed to travel to ***Dubai*** through borders and it was an experience of a lifetime as we were greeted with SANDSTORMS which was difficult to move around yet the intention to catch up with friends was more motivating. We need to make a move earlier as Mia, the blond on the pic has a client to meet while Divine, the long hair with specs needed to prepare for her flight as well. As we were boarding the metro to avoid jampacked, we opted to join the Gold Class Card area. Later did I realize that our BUS CARD was silver and if by chance the metro police would check our cards, we would pay 3000AED multiplied to three! We were still lucky! *Question:* *How do you deal with your fears during these uncertain times we are facing?* *all images used are mine edited on Canva* #ShoutOut to my sponsors for their quality posts and generosity! https://read.cash/@Momentswithmatti https://read.cash/@Pantera/bitworkersscash-will-be-a-blast-be28886d https://noise.cash/u/PatJules83 https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? *if we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*

What's Your Theological Perspective about Money? How Do You Attract More of It? My simple affirmation that money comes to me easily and frequently is boosting my theological, psychological, and even behavioural perspective about money. Well for some this is a kind of joke knowing that they NEED to work harder to earn more money and if they don't, they won't get it at all. I used to think like this as well because employment or my salary alone was my ultimate source back then. Quite scary if you only have one source of income actually. My mentors always advised us to have MSI! ***So let me tell you a bit of an unexpected story.* *****5 Figures Available Balance? How Come? I knew there was only 3!***** I am still in awe! Trying to figure out a rational reason where on earth a balance of 5 figures was still available in my other bank account wherein it has been *****dormant for four months.***** Only because of our upcoming travel that I need to source out other options to use my bank account overseas just in case there's a need at least for emergency purposes. So the truth of the matter was that I did not bother to check on it at all knowing that I only had *****500 SCR***** left in that account as I used it mainly with my online transactions before. I knew it was only that amount left so it won't be totally deactivated. I even told the teller that I would do an online transfer from another bank account thinking that 500SCR would not be enough for overseas transactions, considering the fees and hidden charges yet fairly she said per ATM withdrawal would only be 100SCR, hmmm! On the other hand, deep inside my heart, there is this item that I wanted to buy for myself for the longest time I could remember however I kept on delaying it because whenever I buy things, I would always consider whether it's a NEED or it's just a WANT. I would always ponder on the things that I would buy considering that I already have two of them but because I am curious how reliable the brand is and buying it in the Middle East, I knew I would have a better deal. *Or so I thought! as it's my dream gadget for my online freelancing work!* So while browsing online, it would cost around 4k AED which is around 13974. 03 k SCR or around 1039.03 USD, so I always told myself, if it's time to buy it, God would open doors of opportunities to be able to acquire it. https://www.google.com/search?q=currency+conversion&oq=currency+conversion&aqs=chrome..69i57.4294j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I can still wait for another years, although I wanted it this year! *****Surprise of all surprises***** with a strong conviction likewise upon seeing the available balance in my account when the teller told me to reset my pin because I forgot about it hence I won't be able to do any transaction whatsoever, shocked was an understatement when I saw that I still have around 1***3,109 SCR which is around*** **46,825.221** ***PHP*** ***or 1, 015.75 USD or 863.45 Euro as per conversion rate!*** https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=13109.85&From=SCR&To=PHP *This could be a month salary of many overseas workers I guess. I am still in awe when I checked my balance.* My husband told me to withdraw 5000 just to make sure it's really 5 figures lmao! *****I am so blessed beyond measure!!!***** I had the same story when I was in Doha that I would find *****1 Riyal***** on the road while having our early walk and my friends were laughing at my 1QR eventually. God multiplied it into *****5 RIYALs***** instead when we went to a small store since I didn't bring any money at that time, I stayed outside however decided to get in because it's not safe to be alone waiting. Lo and behold, the moment I stepped in, that 5 Qatari Riyals was on the floor inside the store (not on the road) and I asked my friends as well as the cashier if any of them lost/missed 5 QRs in their wallets, to my surprised they said NO! ***What's my point?*** *I simply asked for 1 Qatari Riyal yet God had given me hundred folds of 5 QRs! my rational mind told me it's a mere coincidence however the deepest core of my faith told me that there is ONE ABSOLUTE BEING who blessed me more than I could imagine.5 QR is nothing for those who don't fathom abundance but it's not just the figure that matters here, it's really your doctrines of belief.* *****Travel and Look for another Angle!***** Travelling entails money, though it is one of our *****Experience Assets***** there are times we tend to make it our priority despite the idea that money is so hard to keep. First and foremost, I claimed for ABUNDANCE. I know money is available for my taking. Let me give a hint on what was my go SIGNAL why I opted to book the flight for our upcoming travel despite the restrictions and other struggles. ***I PAID MY DEBTS*** and I didn't owe anyone for anything. I do not borrow money for the sake of spending nor investing it. This is a huge RED FLAG for me unless it's for business venture. There are still good and bad debts. ***When I said I paid my debts, there was a point when papa was in the ICU and an immediate 35k was needed plus his medication of around 15k. When he passed away, 50k was more or less has to be paid for a good friend who lent us an amount abruptly for the funeral service and the plot of memorial land. Sharing as per experience that it's not only hospitalization which is costly in my country, it would come to a point of funeral service as well, But GOD IS SO GENEROUS to me despite* *****Paypal's***** *restriction on the amount of money I am sending weekly.* *Moreover, when I checked my calendar, our family's expenses, savings, and on top of everything, emergency funds apart from investments, everything is a GREEN LIGHT.*.. I won't be guilty if I spend money overseas and I had someone who would be nagging me to pay her/him for the amount of money I borrowed. Although on the hind side, I borrowed Sage's savings which were around a month's salary of a regular employee here and I promise to pay my baby in a month as well. As early as two years old, I managed to secure his ***Junior Assurance Policy plus RUPYS's Junior account*** in the bank so that he would have enough money to use when the time comes. *****What's the Rationale?***** How do you see money and how you will spend it depends on your behaviour of acquiring it. After so many things that happened this year, at the end of the day, I told myself, I AM THE MASTER and MONEY IS MY SERVANT. Likewise, your theology of money can surprise you in a very overwhelming way you would least expect much more the law of the universe would help you find it. God's abundance is way beyond our human brain could comprehend. *Question:* *Have you had an experience wherein you also felt that you are so blessed you could not rationalize how money just came to you momentarily?* Let's connect via cointr.ee https://cointr.ee/patjules `images used are mine edited on canva` `ShoutOut to my sponsor for his quality post and generosity` https://read.cash/@Pantera/bitworkersscash-will-be-a-blast-be28886d Let's support Bitworkerrs https://read.cash/@CryptoMax/bitworkersscash-a-bitcoin-micro-jobs-portal-5ae9833e You can also share your Financial Tips here https://noise.cash/c/patjules83-v21grjl8 https://noise.cash/u/PatJules83 https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? *****if we can print our own money, the better for the economy!*****

My Love Language: Seeing Things from a Broader Perspective ***Luck has nothing to do with the comfort I am experiencing now overseas.*** *It is far from the magical tale of marrying a foreigner rather I would say****, it has a lot to do with DECISION, DISCERNMENT, and DETERMINATION.*** Many things have happened this year and it is with great conviction that it's time to see a broader perspective in life witnessing from a different angle, and I must say just Travel (of course follow precautionary protocol) *****The Process of Decision Making: What was my GO SIGNAL?***** I would admit the healing process when papa passed away hit me so hard. Part of my heart has told me that he has gone home to God and whenever I could remember our "zoomustahan or zoom conversation" he understood why I needed to work to earn more money. Why it has to come to a point that I had to compromise FAMILY TIME. It's not just because I'm the eldest but I felt the responsibility. *****sharing a bit about my childhood!*** *Looking back how life had been so hard for my parents when they had me at an early age, my papa said sorry for not being able to give the luxury that his grandson is experiencing now. He wanted to provide everything for the family but because of early responsibility, he has to work triple jobs to make ends meet.* *I remembered I used to go with him to a vulcanizing shop owned by his cousin, instead of taking a jeepney which would cost us, he managed to assemble an old bicycle as our transport. That was laborious. I was in 6th grade at that time. I earned a small amount of money by putting air in a tire and depending on your transport you will be charged a tiny price of 5php.* *****Too overwork and too underpaid.***** This is so personal to me and I could not help being teary-eyed knowing how strong and responsible father Papa Adones had been. Now he's our angel, pain-free and happy. *******I am at peace before his demise because we had reconciliation.***** Checking my reality now with my hubby and my baby, it's very far from the life I had as a child though. I learned hard work at an early age, hence promised to myself that Sage's future will be secured apart from his annual travel experience for his development. I have to break the chain of hardship in terms of finances. *Proper Mindset plays a pivotal role meaning the way I have seen money and adversities is not the same how my parents and my siblings see things.* https://www.google.com/search?q=currency+conversion&oq=currency+conversion+&aqs=chrome..69i57.5512j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 MONEY is a driving force to be able to bring more impact to the world and in my little way, being able to share to a foundation back in my country, I felt whole. I felt I have done my mission and my purpose on earth, after all when we die we won't bring this with us but the legacy we created especially to those innocent children who needed help. However listening to our mentor at the Truly Rich Club, one of his talks was about " TAKING A BREAK FOR YOURSELF! take it like the literal meaning of "paying yourself first!" It struck me the most thinking that I hardly do this to myself. It came to a point wherein with all the personal finances, investments, savings for retirement webinars we did, it came to me like a lightning, when I was reflecting and asked myself, "*since when I truly had TIME FOR MYSELF? Without even thinking of anything money matter will do?"* Remember money is just a mind game, if you want to attract ABUNDANCE, the same as how you want to "*Draw your Future and take CONTROL of your Life*," just as Patti Dobrowolski said, you just have to take the Three bold steps...just three bold steps... https://tedxseattle.com/talks/draw-your-future/ **You have to See it, Believe it, and most of all ACT on it!** *****Define your Love Language: How Do You See Things?***** After thorough consideration of the world's situation, my inner self convinced me to take the ***bold step to travel this year overseas (****although I'm already overseas****)***. My love language to my baby is BRINGING him to an adventure he'd never been before so that as he is growing, he would learn how to appreciate more the value of life. He may not be able to realize yet his travels at an early age but documenting all these and showing him in the later years, he would have memories as a toddler. As I am reflecting as to why I would want to travel as a family despite the pandemic, it's because my parents haven't had the chance to do it when papa was still alive. We were planning to go home December this year however God has called him home two months after his diagnosis. Being able to plan ahead about our annual travel as a family, booked the flights, and the hotels plus my visa (Seychelloise are visa upon arrival in Abu Dhabi being part of the GREEN List) I feel that it's time to take an international flight once again after two years when we had our holiday in the Philippines where papa had the chance to meet Sage for the first time. *****What's the Rationale?***** "*if you want to see things from a broader perspective, check for a better angle, just TRAVEL!****"*** Reflecting as to how the world today, one of the things that made me DECIDE to give our annual travel a GO signal is a thought that WE WILL DIE! Life is so UNCERTAIN and I am done with analysis paralysis! WE will die anyway! even Gary Vaynerchuck's inspirational reminder to one of the audiences who asked him for a word(s) of inspiration, he may be joking when he said this, but it does give a ***driving force*** not to DELAY things whenever you planned. Same as what my papa before his death said that we won't bring https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/ our money when we die so if we have the chance to enjoy it as a family, then give ourselves chance to UNWIND. Of course, I boldly considered the expenses, however, this is my dream vacation having the MENTALITY that whatever I need comes to me, heck covid if I would delay it!!! A friend once told me, "***be bold, be reckless, only then that you will enrich yourself!"*** Praying for God's provision on our travel, safety, and protection. All will be well! *So my question to you.* ***What is the boldest thing you have ever done during the pandemic? Have you laid your cards for a greater impact in your life and to your loved ones?*** Let's connect via cointr.ee https://cointr.ee/patjules `Some images taken via screenshot of Radisson Blu Hotel in Abu Dhabi as per booking confirmation while the rests are mine edited on Canva` #ShoutOut to my sponsor for his quality post and generosity https://read.cash/@Pantera/bitworkersscash-will-be-a-blast-be28886d Let's support Bitworkerss! https://read.cash/@CryptoMax/bitworkersscash-a-bitcoin-micro-jobs-portal-5ae9833e https://odysee.com/$/embed/BitcoinCashprintOuts/da4ef8793a7c20c8d285ee4690aa9485171131a1? *if we can print our money, the better for the economy!*
