SmartBCH NFTs Update (April 2022)

SmartBCH NFTs attract a large crowd of collectors, and we can observe how dozens of NFT collections sell thousands of NFTs during their mint phase and attract thousands of BCH in volumes.

Trading on OASIS intensifies after every major NFT collection release, and for most of them, the floor price (for common NFTs) is above the mint price.

Some of the most successful NFT collections are:

  • LawPunks: Mint Phase 100 BCH (read more)

  • Poolside Puffers: Mint Phase 7.35 BCH (read more)

  • CashCats: 500 BCH

  • Thrones-Queens: 300 BCH (read more)

  • Reapers: 500 BCH (read more)

  • Gambling Apes Club: 400 BCH in 5 minutes! (read more)

  • Pandaland: 300 BCH (read more)

  • Pixel Guy Club: 150 BCH (read more)

  • Shorai: 300 BCH

  • Spice: 200 Spice NFTs sold out on its marketplace

  • Lucky Tigers: 12.43 BCH

More collections and NFT projects appear almost daily and some of them are currently in the mint phase. I selected to present some of the NFT projects currently active in and still able to mint, although my articles serve review purposes and not apply as financial advice. It is better not to overexpose our portfolio in one niche only.

Upcoming smartBCH projects:

BCH Towns - Village Simulator on smartBCH!

(source)

BCH Towns is an exciting project currently under development, planning to bring a strategy/resource management game on smartBCH and create the token $Towns (SEP20) that will be the native currency of the game.

There is no plan for a presale of an NFT collection, although the game will use NFTs for in-game trading of items.

The project will launch an ICO for $TOWNS token this month. (Read more)

Lucky Tigers

(link)

Lucky Tigers is a unique smartBCH NFT collection of 888 items in total with a mint cost of 0.014BCH for each NFT.

Currently, 499/888 NFTs have been minted on the first day of launch.

Lucky Tigers is a collection with an original design offering interesting art. (I didn't find art similar to Tigers on Open Sea after research).

The mint price is low when compared to other new collections that usually went with 0.05BCH. Combined with the low number of NFTs makes me consider it a decent effort by the artist/developer.

Lucky tigers offer unique art and a detailed approach with different designs for its core concept (tigers).

Pixs RPG

(source)

The NFT mint phase of Pixs has been resumed, with 1553 / 2040 NFTs minted so far.

487 Pixs Hero NFTs remain to be minted, and the Pixs RPG will soon be ready to launch the game after the conclusion of its beta testing.

I previously reviewed this project on read.cash: "Pixs RPG: Play-to-Earn NFT Game On SmartBCH".

The art of Pixs is original and each NFT represents the player's Hero in the Pixs RPG game.

Joybot NFTs by Joystic Club

The Joybots NFT Collection offers a use case within the Joystic Club platform.

805 out of 10,000 NFTs have been minted at the cost of 500 JOY tokens each.

(source)

Joystic Club offers a platform constantly updating with new arcade games, where players can earn Joy tokens.

The rewards are multiplied by x5.6 when the connected Metamask address holds two Joybot NFTs, so this is a bonus.

The mint of Joybots is still at an early phase, but perhaps the multiplier incentive could create interest.

*I plan to test and review the Joystic Club platform in a separate article, soon.

More Collections Stuck in Early Mint

Pixelitos

Pixelitos is a pixelized NFT collection similar to Pixel Guy Club and Catos.

The collection launched on March 9th, and the mint phase stalled at 152 out of 10,000 NFTs.

We have seen two or three more pixelated collections so far in smartBCH. Maybe this niche in the smartBCH NFT market was already covered by excess supply, but probably this collection wasn't advertised too much.

World Of Masks

The World of Masks mint phase is currently active with 1056/10800 NFTs minted (~10%).

The mint price is 0.0313BCH (Currently ~$11.73) for each NFT.

Some collections have unique art and design, and some have cloned other successful collections from other networks. It happens often in other quality smart contract networks like Polygon or Solana, and we have also seen this in smartBCH with Punks and Apes as well.

The World of Masks collection seems to be based on the Ethereum collection Hashmasks. Hashmasks is a popular NFT collection trading on OpenSea.

At a glance, I found copied art on trait body color: "mystical", which is identical to Hashmasks. I didn't check further but it is obvious this is the same part used.

World of Masks should have mentioned Hashmasks as its inspiration, not just as a concept but also the similar parts to the art of Hashmasks.

Instead, what was expressed in the team's announcement is that this collection was a product of random discussions and a unique idea.

"Random discussions with friends on how I see people wearing masks in my imaginary world brought the idea to create a collection mainly focused on masks."

(source)

The resemblance tells of something else. World of Masks was heavily influenced by Hashmasks, and while parts of the art changed, some clearly didn't.

Everyone knew Apes and Punks were cloned (or copied and altered) art from popular Ethereum collections. This fact is often discussed in the official telegram group of these projects. I fail to see why this was not explained from the beginning of this project as well, but instead, we find this attempt to make it seem like an original idea.

In Conclusion

The art factor is equally important as well the uniqueness of the art. Developers will sometimes clone other successful projects with minimum changes.

SmartBCH has presented multiple cases of unique collections.

Reapers, Thrones, and Puffers are some of the unique collections on smartBCH, sold out without having a concept based on the art of successful Ethereum collections.

A use case usually is rare in these NFT collections. Most collectors find smartBCH NFTs as an opportunity to invest early. As smartBCH keeps expanding there will be better odds to sell these NFTs multiple times higher.

It will not be possible with every NFT collection, still, we already encountered a few that achieved incredible returns.

We have a plethora of NFT collections today on smartBCH, but a stable demand, since the NFT investors are scattered in multiple networks with Ethereum first.

We can't assume that every collection will achieve similar results and volumes to Law Punks, Reapers, Thrones, or Gambling Apes, but with time, those projects that proceed by re-investing most of the BCH received into developing and enhancing the projects will achieve the respect of the community.

Notes

There are plenty of counter indicators in smartBCH as well as all over the crypto market. I have learned to avoid them since 2017 as they will often lead to bad financial decisions.

I have considered which material to follow and who are the counter-indicators in my investing methodology.

Now, consider what you want to read from the writers you follow?

  • Is this you want just to simply report the news without stating the obvious, doing research, and discovering inconsistencies?

  • Is it shilling endlessly vague projects that have a high risk of failure?

  • Is it perhaps sponsored content under a secret payment agreement that the author fails to mention?

  • Or perhaps you want to read what actually happens and see smartBCH succeed?

I am interested to read comments on this. I am not writing in a newspaper right now to report the news, get a paycheck and wait for my summer break to go on vacation. This is way different.

I wrote this previously but literally, nobody cared:

Plenty of writers publish content promoting projects and receive payments. This is called promotional content.

I've never published promotional content and was never asked either.

Moreover, there is nothing wrong with writing sponsored or promotional content, unless you DON'T MENTION it.

If you don't specifically announce that your content is promotional, then you hide your true intentions from your audience. You are deceiving your audience this way. This happens often with Youtubers but writers don't escape this shady trend.

If you mention in your content that it was a promotional activity for which you received payment, nobody will really care or accuse you of anything.

Why hide this fact then? This is the most dishonest and disrespectful approach I've seen becoming a trend nowadays.

So far I love the NFTs I was able to stake now- lads and pixel/ shorai. I love the concept of BCH Town and World of mask so I hope these projects could keep up with its roadmap.

I've also staked most of Shorai and Pixel guy and getting NFTC rewards. Not even looking at these right now, but perhaps in one year it could bring a good return.

I hope so too, they have another NFT up for minting soon also. Actually, NFTC is having decent liquidity now, fingers crossed.

I felt like on the inside there's a voice that's screaming to ask what's the lowest NFT to mint of PIX RPG?

I checked and it is 0.062 now. I think I bought for 0.05BCH but the collection had this system to raise the mint price as it was reaching the end.

Ahh, I'll just wait on your next update about this pantera for I really like RPG games.

Or perhaps you want to read what actually happens and see smartBCH succeed?

This one. ;)

I was actually not on the loop lately on smartbch and nfts. To be honest I started to not follow the trend of nfts after not seeing any innovations. Haha. But yeah. I like to read articles regarding to this.

The pixelitos and pixel guys nfts are the nfts I have in my portfolio and I don't want to mint any nfts cause I could sell the one I minted recently but I would try the bch town

At least the pixel guys club are selling above the mint price. Sometimes we see a big and unreasonable dump taking place in collections. I don't find it logical to purchase and then sell for lower price than mint. I've seen this too often and it may mean foul play by the team.

It by luck one sell of the nfts, it is even hard to sell rare nfts, many people put their rare nfts for sell even lower than the minting price

Yes, it is not easy to liquidate NFTs. Collectables in general. Maybe an auction can decide the price, but auctions also come with drawbacks.

If you put your auction to end in a few hours, you may find only very low bids. Basically these bids are the actual price for that particular time, but in case you list the same NFT higher, someone will eventually buy it. Depending on demand for the collection of course. I remember on Open Sea having put for sale an NFT and it was eventually sold months later.

If you try to sell some NFTs immediately, you will be probably selling for half their real price.

Lucky me.. I only minted one RPG NFT. Because i knew that those projects will be rugged soon.. Btw what's your name on TG?

Pixs RPG didn't rug. It creates an RPG game. I like how this project is proceeding. Can't tell if it will succeed or not, though.

I have the link to the telegram at the bottom of the post, but I don't respond unless there is a serious topic or question.

I’ve been looking forward to invest in some NFTs until I found the world mask NFT project which I minted for (0.0313BCH). I minted two and I trust their projects as they always do giveaways of 0.0313 BCH for the winners every Thursday and Sunday. Thanks for writing about this NFTs updates. Any writers about promotional content should states it in his/ her article if the person doesn’t wants to lose his/her reputation. I’ll be looking for to the lucky tiger NFT.

I look forward to these NFTs, particularly BCH Town. I've heard a lot about world of mask but I've haven't checked them out or thought of investing in it. About the promotional contents, it's tempting to write articles for various projects and get paid, but the reputation of such writer is at risk if the project fails, i think that’s why most writers fail to state that their articles/post is meant for promotion. You can't eat your cake and still have it, if you are writing for promotional purpose ,you should state it and be ready to face the consequences. I believe that should be the right thing. I've written one or two articles that got tipped by the dev of those projects but never was there an agreement between us. This way, i can criticise the project when they are not doing what they promised.

So many NFT'S on SmartBCH now and it's hard to catch up which is which to mint..

I think those writers who are writing paid articles should mention it, I mean to inform their readers that they are associated with the project team so at least readers will know it's promotional articles.

$ 0.05

It would be better to mention it even at the very bottom of their posts. It won't change the fact we will read it or not. And nobody will judge negatively.

$ 0.00

Maybe they were just scared if the project fails people will back fire on them, which is very likely.. once a writer accept paid articles they must also know that there is risk promoting random projects as they'll be like front end and back end.. that people can easily reach for some queries.

Thanks for the update Mr. Pantera, my NFT game that I played now is JoyBot and I am so disappointed to the update that they the profit for 1 robot is too much decrease it's need 2 or more robots now to earn like before in 1joy bot before and needs 2 to earn more or double, also the cause of JoyBot now is increased from 0.029 BCH ($34) to 0.25 BCH ($40) now.

Thanks for this info. I always plan to visit joystic club and write a review but I will need some time to play and learn the games. I want to test it and often visited the website but never did.

Maybe the increase has something to do with the Joy token pump.. it's always like that when a game token pumps the NFT will be expensive and vice versa.
