Would You Rather: Pachu's Valentine Edition
Hey there, my avid readers! How's your day so far? Mine was terrible! We had no internet access for the whole day, and it felt like we were an outcast, lol! As a mother who hustles online for an extra income, an internet connection is essential. My daughter also needs it for her online class, and because we have no internet access on our wifi, I was forced to buy load for data connection.
Anyhow, it is good to be back. It felt like I had been out for ages, lol! As I was looking for a topic to write about, I saw @Meitanteikudo's article about a romantic questionnaire for Valentine's Day. I actually saw this from other users, but it was more catchy and attractive to me with how he presented it, Char! So, since I can't think of anything else to write, let me try this one. And so let's begin!

1. Would you rather get a box of chocolates or flowers on Valentine's Day?
I would prefer to receive a flower. I find it more romantic than receiving a box of chocolates. And besides, I can buy myself a box of chocolates. But I am not comfortable buying flowers for myself. I dunno why, but that's what I felt. lol!
2. Would you rather stay in or go out on a date for Valentine's Day?
I prefer the first one. It's a special treat to have a special dinner date with foods that I meticulously prepare for the both of us. Then, after that, a movie marathon in a dimly lit room with popcorn and drinks. It is better that way and more practical than going out in a crowded place, especially now that we have this pandemic.
3. What's your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
I have none, hahaha! I always end up single when Valentine's Day comes. It's either I broke up with them or they broke up with me. So most of the time, I stayed at home. Or sometimes my friends would take me on their dates and I would end up as the chaperone. That's fine though, as long as I am blessed with food! hahaha! And when I became a wife, I honestly can't think of a memorable date because it is all memorable every moment that I spend with him. haroooot, hahaha!
4. You were given $100,000 and had to spend it on Valentine's Day. How would you spend your winnings?
That would be a lot to spend for a day! First, we will go shopping! We will have a total makeover from head to toe. Then we'll go shopping for food, a cooking set, a new TV, air conditioning, sofa beds, curtains, carpets, and other necessities for the house. Hahaha! At my age, I don't fancy romantic dates anymore. I would feel very happy if I had those things in my house rather than spend that huge amount on a fancy date, hahaha!
5. When do you think is the right time to say "I love you?"
Is there a right time to say it? For me, as long as you want to say it or express your love to someone, go for it. If you wait for the perfect moment, sometimes you will lose the opportunity to say I love you.
6. What's the most romantic movie that you have seen?
50 First Dates with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. If you haven't watched it, it's your loss, Char! Man, I am so in love with Adam's character in the said movie. How he persevered every day just to remind Drew that he loved her and he loved him. The movie is about Henry, a womanizing marine veterinarian who falls for an art teacher named Lucy. When he discovers she has amnesia and forgets him a day later, he resolves to win her over again each new day. And that, to me, is romantic!
