That One Defining Date.

I am a man of many words, I told her and I always aim to please. Full of surprises, spontaneous and mind-blowing that is how I've always been and wish to be. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder they say but what my eyes have seen of her I couldn't help but back it up with actions. I don't like going out but for this lady, I was willing to make that exception and I did. We have met each other for a while now. We have been to the movies, go to a few restaurants but she is not just your ordinary lady. She would not even agree to date me unless I make it proper and official. Speaking of someone who knows her worth and won't give anyone a discount. She wanted to make me work for it so I can understand the value of that which I would soon possess. **On the phone**: Me: "*I don't know why you still won't agree to be my girlfriend. I know there is that chemistry between us and we connect on every front*." She: "*I know but I know you know me already and I won't say yes until you do it right*." That's all she said and being a man of thought and a few words myself, I knew what she was hoping for. I am about to outdo myself and I want to live up to it. Of course, I am not dumb enough to do anything beyond my resources. Whatever I would do is within what I can afford and I decided to make her see how special she is. She works so hard too and we steal moments in the day to talk to each other either through video calls, text messages, chats or whatever you can think of. That same day we exchanged that conversation I highlighted above, I told her to get ready by the weekend. I already know her schedule and I knew she would be a bit free that Friday after work. We spoke on Sunday and by Monday morning, I already placed an order for a wonderful gown that I would love for her to wear to our date. I ordered a pair of shoes as well to compliment what she would be wearing. I wanted her to dazzle, then every head while I can feel proud walking beside her. I had to make a reservation on that Monday as well at a popular restaurant. They always booked up and I tried my luck to see if they have any free slot. They did and it was the one close to the wall...just as I love it...where I saw touch the glasses and see others from inside but no one can see us from outside. I told them I would want scented candles too with iced Champagne while I also requested one of her favourite songs to be played "***All of Me***". It's a private restaurant with everyone in their corner.

The clothe and shoes for delivered to her house on Wednesday evening and she was raving about how perfect they were and how I have good eyes for classy things. I was happy because she is the type her beauty can put nature to shame. She is the type that looks stunning even if she wears simple things. She has simple taste yet she is sophisticated. I love the whole setting of the place and with the lights they fixed which made everywhere cozy and nice, I still noticed that her face shone better and brighter than the lights. She is the epitome of beauty. I picked her up before 19:00 and that's because I love keeping to time and she's that kind of person too. I picked a place that is closer to her area so she won't have to be too tired after that busy week. I didn't mind driving all the length to meet her instead. She is worth every trouble. We entered the restaurant in time for our 19:00 to 21:00 reservation. As the gentleman that I am, I opened the door of the car for her while I held her hand firmly to mine just in case anyone wants to drag her with me due to her goddess look. I felt like a proud owner and I could feel on her skin all the eyes that were fixed on her. I have heard this joke over again that when a man opens the door of his car for a lady to step out, it can only mean 3 things; either the car is new, the lady is new or the door is broken. Thank goodness, the last 2 didn't apply but I opened it because of the gentleman that I am, not because she is new. I would still do it over and over again. We sat comfortably and I sat down across her. I couldn't resist the urge not to look at her. This is indeed an angel on earth and I was tempted to call heaven so I can ask God if one of His angels got missing since I had one seated with me right there. I love the way the lights were shining on her face and how her hair sat perfectly on her neck. She ordered "**Bacon Asparagus Pastry Twists**" before she had "***Molten Lava Brownie***." I've never heard of them before but she is someone that knows what she wants. I settled for "***Marry Me Chicken***". She couldn't stop laughing because she knew my intentions. I still had "***Parmesan Cheese***" afterwards. We stepped each plate down as we sip on our iced ***Champagne***. The music I requested was played at 20:30 and that was when I asked her to be my girlfriend. I simply said: "*My plan tonight was to make you fall in love harder with me but as I watched you smile, I am the one who has fallen in love harder and deeper. I know you love things to be official and this might look like a marriage proposal, especially with the way I dressed to kill, but, I only want you to know how I take you seriously so much that I wanted everything to be perfect. Would you be my girlfriend? I am just the one who wants to love you more and make you laugh harder.*" She nodded as she tried so much to hold back the tears and said "**yes**". We shared our first kiss. We smiled and we left after 30 minutes. I dropped her off at home and we kissed intentionally yet again before I left for my house. *Thank you for your time.* *My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks.
