Single no more!

Morning will never be so dull, afternoon will never be boring, and night will never be so cold since this day that finally, I have someone who’s brave enough to asked me…

So, there’s this man who always makes me special every single time that we met,

Like he’s so all out when it’s me who’s with her,

He’s my childhood friend actually and my family is close to he’s family,

Then there’s this one time that I remember spending my birthday with him, my especial day just became more extra especial because of his presence,

He goes to our house and ask my parents a permission to take me out to a dinner, my parent know him actually they are willing to give me to him haha, because they know that with him, they are sure that I’m safe and sound, so that night in my birthday we go to a restaurant, a not so expensive one hehez, because he knows me very well I’m a picky eater, also I don’t want to eat in an expensive restaurant, and yeah it’s my birthday and we have a lot of foods at home.

That day we talk about stuffs, also I asked him if he’s already in a relationship, turn out he just laugh at me and shake his head,

Me: why would such a person with this handsome looks would be single? Haha

Then I hold his face and look at it like I’m finding something, I just really want to annoy him,

Him: why would such a person with these chubby cheeks would be single hahaha…

He just mocked me the same way… then he pinches my cheeks like a marshmallow,

Now I’m annoyed then I slap his hand out of my cheeks, he just laughs again and continue heating with his food,

After we eat, we just have a late-night walk so that our food could be digested properly, then out of the blue he stops and says…

“I’m still waiting for someone’’ he just randomly says and that makes me halt and looked at him with a curiosity in my expression,

“Huh” I said with a questioning look

“you’ve asked me earlier why I’m still single, so I answered it now, I’m still waiting for someone” he seriously said,

After that I’m still dumbfounded and just enjoy the night talking to him until we get home.

But today is the day finally single no more!

After my online classes, he visits me and asked me to go with him,

I agree and now I found myself on the nearest café while he’s saying something that really makes me shocked, and I don’t really know what I could say…

“Listen… ‘’ he started

“ I’m not here to just talk to you about random things but this me getting thing to be taken seriously, I’m patiently waiting for this day to come, I can’t take it anymore, we’re not child anymore, you are already a grown up woman and I’m also too, remember what I said when you attended my basketball game in our school, you’ve promised me to celebrate more achievements with me, and support me every time I need, that day you said it feels like a flash that I don’t know but I only knew that day where we are in the middle of the crowds, my eyes can only see you, I started to have feelings with you, but I thought it just a sudden reaction so I ignored it, yet as years goes by it just grew and now I’m deeply fallen for you and I don’t know why, it just happened, I know that this is not a perfect moment and a perfect day but for me, it is, and I want it to be more special because I wanted to asked you to be my girl, not a mere girl best friend , or a childhood girl play mate, but to be my girlfriend. So will you be?”

I’m too stunned to speak but later I just said “yes”

And in just a second, I’m already enveloped with a warm familiar hug but its not from him, but to my little cousin who wakes me up because I already fallen asleep watching Grey’s anatomy series, what a good dream indeed hahaha,
