Wake me up when September ends
While half of the world is sleeping and the other half is shining, there's always someone waiting for the sun to set on the horizon. Some are even in their old-fashioned rocking chair while the sky flashes orange hues contemplating what had happened for the past 30 days.
It's as if time moved so swiftly that in just a blink of an eye, one month is again ending, and another is coming. September has come and is about to pass, and as we think of things that have happened, what are those that were significantly remarked?
The start of ber-months

As enthusiastic as we are, the beginning of the month was kickstarted with various memes of Jose Mari Chan on different social media. Who hasn't seen one? Not only are they funny, but also witty.
As Filipinos, it is not new to us to see creative and resourceful individuals in our country. Despite the turmoils brought about by different issues and difficulties in life, we still get to smile and feel active as we welcome the Christmas season. Decorations are not problems because our creative hands can make use of various materials from scrap and turn it into amazing outputs where anyone can be put in awe.
Philippine peso to US dollar exchange rate reaches 59
While some people are happy that the value of the Philippine peso, when exchanged to US dollar, reached 59, it is not a goof indicator, though. It's the lowest value in history and it's alarming because this may cause inflation. What is even disturbing is that it would affect the purchasing power of Filipinos.
Super Typhoon Karding

The strong typhoon flooded several areas in the Philippines, and its devastating effect caused trauma to many Filipinos. Agricultural damages surged up to billion pesos, not including the wrecked infrastructures, lost lives, and injuries. It's painful to see such news on television and across media, but if there's one important thing we can do aside from donating, that is to pray and always have faith. We don't know about what will come next and how severe they are going to be, but let us always pray not just for our personal gain but, most importantly, for the general welfare and safety.
Let us always be vigilant and not just commit actions without further thinking about them. There may be good things and bad things that happened this month. Let's hope that the coming month will be fruitful and away from danger. We cannot tell it, but at least be alert always.
