First Two Weeks of the New AY | How it Went?

2 38

It feels like two weeks seemed to have passed in just a single snap. A lot of things have happened already. Peso to dollar value reaches 58, and our face-to-face schedule this month is over. Next week, we'll be having our classes online again, and two weeks after that, we'll be back at f2f.

So how have the first two weeks of the new academic year gone? Here's how it was.

During the first day, we just simply got to know some updates from everyone else of us after almost three academic years of having online classes. We were already in the second semester of our first year in college when the pandemic broke out, so we already knew each other in person. Besides, we are also conducting quizzes and exams onsite recently, so we could see each other physically. Still, this year's f2f classes felt different - exciting, a bit scary, and everything in between.

After several his and hellos, asking for some updates, and the like, we went to the food fair just in front of the student's park and bought shawarma.

It actually rained on the first day.

The following days, we had a seminar on business laws, and it was very educational and inspiring at the same time. What we liked about it more was the food they served. They are all mouthwatering, and here are some of the food and snacks:

I took home the siopao and shred it with my other siblings.

I wish we'll be having another lecture like this, not for the food, but mainly for the knowledge that could help us understand even more the topics that we are really hard up so we could prepare really well.

During this week, we also had our first quiz in one of our two subjects this sem. As expected, it was in essay form. Though I anticipated it, I still reviewed and memorized some terms just in case there were other types of questions.

We were told na rin pala about our internship, and it was tentatively set to start next week. We are still waiting for some updates, though. But nevertheless, I hope it will go well, and we'll be able to learn a lot from it.

That is all for now, guys.
