Let's meet someone who is also a BCH cryptocurrency enthusiast, supporter, and investors.
He is one of the donors in this read.cash platform.
If you notice, this person does not like to write an article here on read. cash but he is active on this platform. Just looking for high-quality content for him to give upvote and also reading articles. We just don't notice him. He is the man of humility, kindness, and generosity.
And now we will witness who he really is, what his experience as an investor and supporters of BCH is, and why he donates to this platform?
1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Answer: I am a medical doctor by day, BCH investor and enthusiast by night, sometimes the other way around!
2. Why don't you write an article for reading cash about BCH?
Answer: You are right, I have not written anything yet for read cash.
I like the platform and the user base it is attracting. If I have something to publish online, probably about Bitcoin Cash or BCH, it will most likely be on read cash.
By the way, I loved your interview with @Koush and heard that you are publishing an interview with @georgedonnelly soon. I feel humbled to be in the same series as these two gentlemen!
3. Why do you always support the BCH platform?
Answer: I am convinced that Bitcoin Cash BCH is the version of bitcoin that has the advantages of bitcoin as it was meant to be: electronic payments that are fast, cheap, and reliable.
Space and prospects are very exciting. There are tremendous opportunities to change the world for the better with good sound money.
The Bitcoin Cash space is full of energetic and passionate people. A few names that come to mind now are Roger Ver, Amaury Sechet, @georgedonnelly, Vin Armani, @Koush, @MarcDeMesel, Hayden Otto, Akane Yokoo, Tobias Ruck, among many others of course.
They might disagree on a lot of things, but each one of them brings positive addition to BCH. I guess that is the nature of such a large decentralized project like BCH.
4. Who inspired you to give a donation in read cash?
Answer: My donation is modest so I don’t want to make a big deal of it :)
But to answer your question, I see the read cash platform as a great way to spread BCH adoption.
When you believe in bitcoin, you try to give what you can to help support its mission, whether it is your time, effort, or money. This is from a self-fulfillment point of view. And from a “selfish” point of view, the money you put to help spread the message of bitcoin can be considered as an investment in the future of bitcoin that will help grow your BCH holdings value.
5. Are you not afraid to invest in BCH?
Answer: Not at all! Any investment has its risks, but I believe in bitcoin and believe in BCH as the best form of bitcoin out there, and see tremendous opportunity for Bitcoin Cash to grow in terms of adoption, technology, and price.
I think that bitcoin will be considered one of the greatest inventions of this century and that BCH will take over BTC in terms of the number of users and eventually the price. It might take 10+ years. This is not guaranteed though. It will largely depend on how much we put as BCH enthusiasts into development, building projects, and marketing.
6. During this coronavirus panic, do you have any plans to create your own BCH project?
Answer: I would be willing to support or participate in any good BCH project.
It is interesting that you mention the coronavirus panic. I tend to think of the economic stresses that are happening around the world as an opportunity and motivation for people around the world to rethink their views about the economy and about money.
Many world problems are caused by the use of fiat money systems that depend on government-issued money that is backed by very little or almost nothing. The money supply has been growing far larger than the world’s economic output, and this has been leading to wealth gaps, economic imbalances, inefficient and overvalued companies, and currency crises.
I believe that bitcoin fixes a lot of these problems.
The people of Lebanon are unfortunately seeing the value of their currency drop day by day. Many of them are learning about bitcoin and turning to it to protect their money against devaluation and against government control of withdrawal and transfer of money. Bitcoin is “permission-less money”.
7. Can you give a little bit of experience on how you learn about the cryptocurrency?
Answer: I started learning about cryptocurrency in late 2015. I was reading a series of articles on the status of the global financial system. One of them mentioned bitcoin. It was actually a criticism of bitcoin and the author did not think it was the answer to the world’s financial system problems.
But this made me look into bitcoin, became quickly convinced, and I started investing small amounts every month into BTC. In August 2017 (the birthdate of BCH) I switched to BCH.
8. Do you have another platform that involves BCH?
Answer: I know of several great projects in the Bitcoin Cash world.
A few of my favorites are:
local.bitcoin.com - a non-custodial (can't take your money) exchange of Bitcoin Cash to local currencies, also a marketplace to buy and sell stuff for Bitcoin Cash
purse.io- buy things from Amazon with great discounts using Bitcoin Cash BCH
gifts.bitcoin.com - a way to gift or tip BCH
CoinText.io - send and receive Bitcoin Cash using SMS only!
bitcoincashnotes.com - user-generated notes, can be used to tip or introduce somebody to BCH
9. What is your advice/tip for the people who want to invest in BCH?
Answer: Take the time to read and research.
I believe I made enough research to be convinced that BCH is the cryptocurrency that has the best chance of being the next generation of money for the world. I have no doubt in my mind that any investment in BCH will multiply many times over the next few years, possibly 100 times or more.
But please do your own research. Listen to @RogerVer ’s speeches and interviews. Watch bitcoin.com and BCH Ignite youtube videos. Follow @georgedonnelly and @Koush on twitter, etc.
Also, think for the long-term. Be patient, and don’t try to buy and sell on each price movement. You may have heard the term “HODL”, but I prefer “spend and replace”. Hold some, spend some, and replace what you spent by buying more BCH with your local currency.
If you are convinced, please help spread the word about bitcoin BCH!
Tell your family and friends. Use it in your everyday life. Tell your local coffee shop and restaurant about it and encourage them to accept it. Use it to transfer money internationally.
I believe that whatever your background is, Bitcoin Cash BCH has something to offer to better your life.
Look at read.cash for example freedom of speech + freedom of money.
