I was chatting with @Amazing-grace on Whatsapp earlier today and one thing led to the other we started discussing rusty. I told him that rusty has been behaving strangely these days because my earnings have reduced (again!). I checked out my average earnings and it has become lower than in the last two weeks.
He told me to switch to writing crypto-related articles and rusty will be sure to tip them very well. I remember when I joined this platform last year, I heard from some people that rusty mostly visit articles about cryptocurrency (especially if it's about BCH) and those articles earn higher than other types.
But some older users back then debunked that myth and said rusty visits any article and sometimes, even crypto-related articles don't earn as much as the others. The truth is that it isn't easy to write about cryptocurrency and it requires you to have the technical knowledge before you can write about crypto or else you will end up writing something that clearly shows your ignorance.
I actually tested it out at some points and wrote some articles about cryptocurrency. Some of them did very well and earned quite high but I found out that most of my highly earned articles aren't related to crypto at all. That was what I told @amazing-grace and he said cryptocurrency articles are earning well for him, which is great for him.
Everyone just has to do what they feel is best for them and stick to their style of writing. If writing about cryptocurrency gets more of Rusty's attention on your end, then be sure to milk that cow till it's dry š. But at the same time, you should write about what comes easy to you and if it isn't cryptocurrency, then just stick to what you are familiar with.
A lot of us do enjoy writing about our daily lives (personal blogs) and that is easier to write than crypto articles which sometimes will require lots of research. And the truth is I enjoy reading about other people's personal experiences more than reading an article about cryptocurrency. Sometimes I can't even relate to most of the things that are mentioned in those articles.
The one thing I love about crypto articles is that most of them are informative and I have learned a couple of things from them, especially if it's an article announcing a new coin/token or one announcing a new feature in one exchange or wallet. Those articles aren't like the personal articles that you can just run through, you have to carefully read them before you can pick out things.
While going through my old articles (specifically from last year) to see which one earned the highest, I was impressed with how well I was earning back then and at the same time, I was feeling bad about the current state of my earnings. It was almost depressing seeing my earnings in my old articles and at one point I just asked myself; "what went wrong?"
I was actually getting an average of about 9$ per article but right now the average should be around 3$, that's a very steep slope š. I started thinking about the things I did back then and how they are different from what I am doing now, from there I can figure out what has made my earnings reduce.
The first thing I discovered was that I was more active on this platform back then compared to now. I had a goal of buying a new phone when I newly joined this platform and I worked very hard to achieve that goal. I was always online and spent most of my day on readcash, and one thing I have noticed about rusty is that he loves active people.
Who else has noticed that if you're offline for too long, rusty stop tipping your articles? But if you come online and interact for a while, he comes running š some of my friends have reported experiencing the same thing, rusty visits you more if you're very active. There's no sure handbook on gaining Rusty's love, @Theblackdoll has done several tests on him and he still refuses to crack š there's a reason he is called "the random rewarder".
But even though there's no sure way to get his attention, one thing that helps a lot is to be very active on the platform. Be consistent, engage more, and always come online to the platform if you want rusty to be consistent with you as well. I will be ending this article by posing a question to the older users on this platform; do rusty always reward crypto-related articles more than the others?
Very special shout out to @yhanne for her sponsorship renewal, thank you so much ma'am š¤
Thanks for reading ššš

I thought at one point I figured it out but then again not lol! It really is a random thing but what is true is that being consistently active here in this platform.
