I'm writing this in lieu of my initial article "to the doctor; I will go"; where I mentioned I was gonna go the doctor for check up due to some symptoms I was exhibiting; fever, cold tiredness and a head breaking headache (it's not covid-19, and if it were, you wouldn't be infected by simply reading this article haha..). Had to ignore the mountaneous work before me in a bid to get checked in the hospital, did the dress up process and kaboom I left the house really early, located the nearest hospital, was initially shy but didn't care about the absolutely new faces I was seeing for the first time, considering I didn't have an hospital of choice in Lagos as I only go to the hospital when I'm at Ondo state to see a cardiologist due to my constant hypertension.
Requested to see the doctor after which we did some weird processing which I'd rather not mention and kaboom "doctor here we go". I'd rather not go into details but it turned out that it's not as bad as I thought; the symptoms I had were simply a result of not having breakfast on time and was becoming an habit which my body couldn't handle on..plus there was the dehydration problem...hey..before judging me, I'd like you to know that I drink a lot of water, in fact much more than required but it would seem that my dehydration is caused by lack of rest as my brain works too much hence using up too much body fluids and resulting in dehydration. News flash; dehydration is also caused by stress and lack of rest. I'm not a doctor hence I can't explain why.
Doctor's solution
Some drugs were prescribed which I'd rather not mention as I do not intend to accidentally administer drugs to a person with similar symptoms that may be reading this right now..
Back to track.. some drugs were prescribed but what I really needed according to the doctor is a lot of rest and water. Lots of water is possible; in fact it's already a part of my life style as I mostly drink water in excess and end up urinating like 10 times within one hour...hey whatever you're thinking isn't true; my kidney isn't dysfunctional but I urinate in excess because I drink too much of water. Back to track once again; drinking enough water is easy but having a lot of rest is practically impossible for me as it would affect my financial portfolio which is obviously bad. I'd try to rest but definitely not as much as the doctor says.
I mean who wouldn't love to relax and take days off from work, unfortunately money is also important especially when you're self employed and there's nobody to do the work for you but yourself. They say health is wealth; yes it's true but at the same time wealth is necessary hence I'd rest when I can but not as advised by the doctor.
My solution
Don't take this part seriously as I'm not a doctor but a trained physicist; I'd simply get a lot of fluids that are good for my body like yoghurts, energy drinks, and all things good which are not soda. Plus I'd get my self a load of snacks which I could munch during my hours of starting at that laptop screen; seems like a good advise for myself, after all "you're the best adviser you can have". Long story short; eating healthy is key to attaining sound health and this is what I'm gonna do.
Sleeping early should become a part of my routine which means a bye bye to midnight rendezvous with best friend at least for now until further notice, good bye to "wake me up by 2 am" (you don't have to understand this part, it's completely confidential), and goodbye to waking at midnight to check those crypto chart.
Going to the doctor today taught me a lot about how every moment of rest matters to my body as I'm not designed for the stress I'm putting my body through; maybe I should have come to this world as a robot so I wouldn't get to be sick and would be able to go through as much stress as possible without knowing the meaning of the word "stress".
Shout out to friends here on read.cash for tour support and encouragement regarding my health on the previous article where I mentioned of be seeing the doctor; you guys are simply the best. I don't wanna mention makes or of probably mess up your notification hence I choose to keep it simple; a general "thank you" should suffice.
Toddles!

It's never too late to be a robot, if you would like to be one but it's not advisable for you sir. You have to rest a lot dear friend.
