Just like no other travelling experience, few friends from Nigeria took a trip to spend some time together... you wouldn't believe the joy and happiness for old time highschool friends with their girlfriends, never expected this to happen this way as they all had separate jobs at different locations in the country and always occupied... Ali, Thomas, Okafor and Leo came through right on time then followed Beatrice, Jasmine, Tolu and Kreg literally the odd one out of the bunch.. few minutes later it was time to depart as scheduled. It was planned not to allow any of them know the destination of this trip.. Trying to catch up on the tides of friendship, it was fun when they talked for a while and made jokes relating to the non cool guys from school and the bullies.. Thomas recalled the times when he scared few of the boys, and due to his height and size he went away with everything.. on arrival, a vehicle came through to pick them up to the exact destination..
Three hours later after a long boring ride, they all exchanged words with the driver to find out where they where actually going... and there was this weird smile from his face nodding continuously and giving them assurance that they where in safe hands..Leo tried calling his friend who arranged the whole traveling experience but the network service was out, he quickly collected Jas's phone it was the same thing.. it was a rough night as the men grabbed their lady just to reduce the tension, the glass window was tinted and even from the inside you wouldn't tell what is happening around you.. it was getting late, the fear grew and then the driver stopped the car and told them to get down.. after they all did, he drove off very fast and got lost in the dark..
The house facing them looked very old and immediately they ran close, twisted the knob it opened and the interior felt much better Beatrice said and felt relieved..
The walls of the building had nail peelings and some carving..screaming louldly at once to know if anyone was in there.. when no voice was heard they all chose separate rooms.. and after series of unwinding and planning of where to visit with excitement, it was late and they had to go back to their respective rooms to have a night rest, each of them to their boyfriends..
Their craziness started off, as Ali and Tolu first intimacy at the first night out of the usual. But Tolu kept on seeing something crawling on the wall, like a dark image and everytime she leans towards his body it comes out and when she raises her face up she sees just a part of it move.. She touched Ali and said she saw something strange but never mind Tolu its nothing Ali said to her. I'm going to protect you and she knew he would until the bed they layed on started shaking and making squeaky sounds... both of them stood staring at it and everything they planned to do had to stop at that point. Probably they needed to wait till the next day to get on with it, what gives both exclaimed together and they slept apart.
It was 2am, Tolu got up to use the rest room when she heard a a very soft voice whispering her name... she turned back to check if someone was pulling a prank on her, no one was within where she was, she turned to the straight door on the left...
The door opened up, but was so dark. The voice grew louder as she walked close to get a glimpse of whom it was and what was happening.. she got very close to the door and saw a little girl all white and pale, water gushing from her mouth telling her to come close, she still thought someone was pranking her as she was the smartest among them and when she got near, the girl screamed so loud and immediately 5 other girls came forward and grabbed onto Tolu's hand and pulled her into the room... but before Tolu would call on anyone the door was slammed, that made everyone wide awake.
Ali noticed she wasn't on the bed with him called onto the rest of them.. within themselves they all heard the screams, well Tolu wouldn't have gone far maybe she just took a walk outside Thomas said, although he was scared too but wanted to reduce the tension..
All but one left in search of her, Kreg stayed to keep an eye of her return and that wasn't the end of the it all.. she got upstairs to take some of her stuff, and she heard sounds like someone sawing.. Following the thick noise, she went into the same room and she saw a man standing beside a wooden table and thought maybe her friends where back.. she acted too fast and what she saw up close was a man with just one eye and half of his face burnt, it was as if he was under someone's control.. she tripped and the man got hold of her and what she heard really was a chain saw, the man placed her on the table and when he was about ripping her off in bits and pieces
The boys arrived and the man vanished immediately... Tolu was lucky as she screamed loudly, the boys heard and came to help her...
Explaining everything to them, how she would have been dead in just few seconds if they didn't arrive at that time... they went to their rooms to pack and when they where about leaving all the doors in the house was shut and everywhere became so dark, "why do you want to leave?" The little girl came out, completely terrified one of them asked "who are you?" I'm the little girl that was murdered here so this house belongs to me and you all are not leaving till I have my revenge.. but we just came to have some fun here, no one told us to stay clear of this apartment the boys said trying to protect their girlfriends.. I have taken one of you and I will keep having you all till I'm done.. your presence awakened me and I haven't had much friends and fun for years now, so let's play together..
She opened her mouth wide and brought out some set of toys, and told them to join her or get killed... their only way out of there was to defeat her in every game and get a key to open the door and if anyone fails to do that he or she dies, then she called up her friends... the old lady crawled out walking with just her hands alone and the creepy man with a burnt face stood beside them with his chain saw, that wasn't all it became a hell hound as some creatures came from the floor with a twisted neck, you could see a hole in their chest with no organs.. then came the 5 little friends of hers as well, white and pale...
The situation now is that none of them could play the games as they looked strange to them, it was even more complicated than a child's game... you'd have to roll the dice into the aligned path and anything lower than mine will not win this round as there won't be any point to continue...
Ponting directly to Okafor as the first contender, she rolled her dice and got the highest number it was his turn to play... with fear in his eyes he made a wrong throw and it was 4, immediately the man with a saw grabbed him hit his back on the nail on the wall and removed all his body parts starting with his heart.. the rest of them pleaded for his life but she kept on smiling and waving him good bye.
Then the next game began and it was time to have more fun, she took a knife out and told them a story of why she was murdered and who was responsible for it. She discovered a deep secret of her uncle and that's the main reason he killed the little girl just to protect himself, and do you want to know how he did it. He threw a knife at me and it hit me directly in my heart..
The next game is to place the knife at the exact spot on the wall, Ali started first this time and got the right spot.. he was the first to win a game and was given the key to leave surprisingly he ran non stop to get help for the rest of them...
The third game began and it's the whole five left that will be playing together against me, Why are you doing all this? Leo asked as he kept wondering what he will play next, she replied him that all she ever wanted was to be happy and now she can never be... it's too late for me to, I have killed my family and loved ones you all are next.. I'll let one of my friends cut one of your body parts either your hand or your legs and anyone who survives past 45 minutes will be let out of here.. Ali finally reached out to the police and to the person that recommended there to him, made a description and they followed him to the place but before his arrival the last game already started following the rules..
The guys chose their hands while the rest of the girls chose their legs.. After it was done with rigorous pain some tried to stop the blood flow but the old lady whom was watching told them with her deep and creepy voice "remember the rules or I will eat one of them"... the girls couldn't bear the pain, they died before the stipulated time. It was down to two boys although Leo was untouched, as he wasn't hurt like the rest of them..
Closer to the minute gap Thomas passed out... The police luckily arrived and took over the whole place, went in and saved him but they literally didn't see the little girl and the rest of the monsters, likewise his dead friends.. It was a haunted house and people who stopped by, don't always live to tell the tale...
There's a funny but bitter twist after all, every one of them came to the hospital bed where Leo was and he was shocked at what happened, he was pranked after all and they all wished themselves a happy Halloween... well it was a way to get back to him although at the expense of his life. But they told him the main reason why he couldn't reach his friend from the beginning was all a plan.. and the driver was a part too.. He said, but I saw your legs and arms removed and I saw him ripped completely! How come?. that was in the plan too, it was all a pay back for what you did years back...
"So what would you do if you where if you where faced with this horror and it was all a prank?"
