Date: November 21, 2021 - Sunday
It's Sunday again! And the kids are so excited for this day because they knew that we will go out and have some fun!
Changing our Sunday Habit
It's been our habit to spend our Sunday with the kids. Basically, we want the kids to implant to their mind that Sunday should be dedicated to the family. Sunday must be Family Day!.
What we usually do on a Sunday is go out and eat some pizzas and fried chicken from the Family's favorite resto - Shakey's. That is during pandemic where the kids are not allowed to enter establishments including the churches. Before pandemic, we used to go to the church every Sunday.
Starting today, the upcoming Sundays will be different (apart from going to church).
Some of you might have been aware already that last Monday, we spent overnight in a resort. The husband and my kids had a lot of fun and they wanted to do that often. So while we're on our way home from that outing, I told my husband that we will change our Sunday Family habit. We will save the money which we're supposed to buy pizza and fried chicken.
In other words, for today, instead of buying some pizzas and fried chicken, we've decided to just go to a nearby subdivision instead. We brought the kids' bikes so that they can have a quick biking session in there.
The nearby subdivision has a spacious road and there lots of trees in each side which is perfect for jogging, biking, walking, and some sort of exercise.
Part of the money we've used to buy my eldest son's bicycle is actually from my noise.cash and read.cash. I've withdrawn 5000 pesos from my PDAX wallet.
There is 10 pesos transaction fee hence the total pay-out is 5,010 pesos.
My eldest son's bicycle price is 8,900 pesos. Our fund is not enough actually, that's why I've decided to withdraw part of my earnings so that we can buy a bicycle for my son.
Eventually, my husband bought himself a bicycle too amounting 9,500 pesos. The reason being is so that he can accompany our son in some nearby rides until my son became familiar and comfortable on how to ride a bike in the main road where there are lots of vehicles passing by.
I actually used my credit card for my husband's bicycle because as I have said, we do not have enough funds to cover for it. We have a little savings but we don't want to touch it.
Unfortunately, the store entertains straight payment only(no available installment plan).
So, goodluck to my next payroll.
Why did we decided to buy a bicycle despite of having not enough budget for it?
The entire pandemic, most of the time, the kids are urged to stay inside the house to be able to protect them from the virus.
And since the government regulations are more relax since last week, my husband and I thought of some outdoor activities that my kids will surely love. And we think bicycle is a perfect activity for my kids and for the entire family actually.
Budget wise, we can work it out because we can use my credit cards. And since my 13th month pay is waving, it is scheduled to be given on my next payroll, November 30th, that's a big factor in our decision to use our credit card to buy another bicycle. Besides, we still have one more month to accumulate the fund.
Happiness is Priceless! No amount can buy a genuine happiness! And I can see it on my kids' faces earlier. They had a lot of fun!
Maybe money can give us temporary pleasure but it is not enough to feel the experience the real happiness.

True Sis, happiness is priceless. Kung wala naman talagang paggagamitan na sobrang mahalaga, why not to use it para sa ikasasaya diba. Worth it din naman:) Enjoy your day!
