A messy last week vs. A stiffened week start
My last week ended well so far as I spend the whole week at work.
Although it gets a bit messy because of a misunderstanding that ends in a fight. This made me extend my rant over here thru my articles and I am so sorry for that.
In that case, I receive a lot of comfort from you awesome readers, your good wishes for me lighten my clouded mind.
I took every piece of advice to heart to ponder. I tried to understand and examined my actions and their results.
I came to realized that if I only extended more of my patience and understanding, the situation would not go wrong to that extent.
Anyways, another lesson learned for me.
Another week came in, a stiffened one literally. On Sunday I was still okay until Monday morning.
I woke up around 9:45 am as usual to prepare for our needs before off to work. Clean the cage, prepare food for my cats and fed them, cook rice, wash the utensils and prepare coffee for my partner. Iron his uniform and mine after I took a bath.
While I'm doing the cleaning and turning my head to the left to reach for the bleach I felt this sudden pain in my left nape part. I could not move my head because of the pain.
I thought it was just a simple muscle spasm that I get during my sleep and it can disappear after a hot compress.
I told my partner about it and he decided to skip the day's work to get rest. He too was feeling not well. I was done and prepared everything but dropped down to stay at home for the day.
I give my partner a wet towel too and put it in his nape. It seems his high blood pressure was attacking so I just let the towel sit in his nape to reduce the heat.
The good thing is he felt relieved quickly after the cold drives the hot feeling in his nape. Maybe the hot weather was not just friendly to him that morning.
And for me here is my homemade remedy to treat my stiff neck.
After I felt the pain I put a wet towel around the nape to my neck to reduce the heat, that day was so hot and the cold could help me to feel refreshed.
After a couple of hours doing the cold compress, I let my neck rest a while about an hour to adapt to the normal temperature.
Around 3 pm, before I took a nap I prepared the hot compress and put it on the pained area while lying to sleep.
(Note: Do not do this if you have high blood pressure, the heat from a hot compress to the neck could trigger the blood to go up to the head and it could be dangerous.)
Tuesday came, as my neck was still in pain I let my friend massage the area to loosen the stiffened muscle. I felt relieved after the massage. She even cracked my back part at face down and my neck in a face-up position.
The pain lessens and I am able now to move my neck easily sideways unlike on Monday morning.
Note: This is just my personal experience and could not be effective to you as mine. This is not medical advice either. Better to consult a doctor for better treatment if you feel such unhealthy feelings.
My side story update:
I mentioned before about my friend where I sleepover last week that she was broken up by her partner.
Yesterday, I saw them reconciled already. Yey! For that.
Oh well, while I writing this the washing machine was spinning for I was doing the laundry too.
At noon was very hot here so I prefer to do the laundry during the night for the temperature was a bit cooler than the day.
Another thing to be thankful for, @foryoubtc09 thank you so much for renewing your support and love. More blessings to come to you. For all my sponsors, THANK YOU!
