I'm fine. I mean a little cough here and there. A little chest pain. My headache has broken I think. (I had to call to get a stronger medication). I don't have much appetite so eating is a struggle. But. I'm not in hospital. I doubt I will go to hospital. I hope I do not develop Sars Cov 2.

I will recover! I will win this battle. I have my sense of humor and have made jokes and jokes. I have a wonderful support group and a great medical team.

My husband tested negative so that's a positive as well.

Don't kiss your husband for a while and if you get angry with him you know what to do, a little virus and he will be defeated hahaha.

HI! I haven't seen you in a while. I am just pushing through. My head is very unhappy but I'm not coughing much. The medications they gave me do cause some nausea. But the worst symptom is the head ache.

Run up my credit card bill? That's probably how. Unfortunately, even though my husband tested negative, he will still have to stay home for a week (unpaid) as per corporate policy. Which sucks because we need new tires for the car so it will pass inspection so we can get it registered. (something we have to do every year in the U.S.)

I don't think it will kill me. I also don't think I've developed Sars Cov 2. But my lungs aren't too great as it is (smoker + asthma). And the comorbidities are what concern me the most. They've thrown all the meds at me. Including Ivermectin. Not the kind I have in my livestock pantry!! The kind for humans. I did an online search and the NIH has a couple of articles about it that reassured me, so I signed the informed consent. I'll be fine. I really don't need any more brain fog than I already have. I'm also fully vaccinated (no booster), so this is pretty mild. I really want my head to stop hurting, though.

Good you were able to get the Ivermectin. There is really something to that stuff. Not sure why it IS so controversial.

People don't understand its purpose. It will absolutely not cure the virus. That is not the intention. Also people do not realize it has been in use for humans since 1981, is definitely used FOR viruses and cancer and a host of other things besides. It isn't FDA approved. The CDC has denied its efficacy in treating covid. It is not given in order to treat or cure covid. The media isn't reporting anything correctly and are emphasizing the wrong things.

Because I had to sign an informed consent form, I was not simply content to believe the piece of paper that said "... some studies have shown ..." I had to go read the studies.

The gist of it is that Ivermectin has been shown to stop the replication of the virus on a cellular level. The intent for prescribing it is to halt or reduce the LONG TERM effects ov Covid 19. Like, weak lungs, brain fog, heart problems. So that after covid is gone, I don't have a stroke in 3 years or become demented or have to use an oxygen tank for the rest of my life.

They also prescribed me antibiotics. Antibiotics will do nothing to treat the virus. But they will treat my sinus infection. They may prevent pneumonia.

So, the controversy is that a bunch of people who are misinformed are spouting off about this drug. They are writing articles and are stating opinions as fact. They are citing articles instead of studies.

Me, I went and read the studies!!!!

The fluids are easy to comply with. The food, not so much. I'm pretty nauseated. Even with the stuff they gave me for nausea. I came home with a whole drug store!

You must take care of your stomach with all those medicines you will be taking. Get well soon.
