A Week In Switzerland
https://www.kids-world-travel-guide.com/images/xmatterhorn.jpg.pagespeed.ic.UMUkkMEXfk.jpg
It was 6 a.m., and I was standing on the balcony of the flat I had booked in Switzerland. I was with my entire family, which is quite large. My mother's dream has always been to take a vacation overseas, and I recently fulfilled her wish. Because all of my siblings are also successful people, we have finally been able to go and vacation internationally with my entire family without worrying about the budget or other expenses since my business became profitable. We all wanted to spoil our mother and give her whatever she want, especially because she was already old and we knew they didn't live forever.
My mother finally awoke and sat next to me, offering me a cup of hot chocolate. It was a chilly day, as it is now winter in Switzerland. Because of the white snow, my brother said that winter is the best time to visit Switzerland. It's the perfect area to relax and unwind, with the mountain vista and horizon visible from above. My mother then suggested that we take a trip to another part of Switzerland, not only the countryside. She was eager to see the sights, particularly the metropolis.

The next day, everyone seemed to be so excited about touring the other places in Switzerland, including my brother and my other siblings. I rented a van for us so that we could go wherever we wanted whenever we wanted. While they were having a tour of the city, my brother and I visited some luxurious cars. My brother and I both love sports cars and other luxurious cars. We both love to collect toy cars and other luxurious vehicles. We kinda have the same vibe when it comes to this.
https://www.luxurytravelmagazine.com/files/593/6/82266/VIP-Motors_bu.jpg
After that, we decided to meet and gather in a cafe shop and order some coffee and hot chocolate since it was freezing outside. I can tell by the looks on their faces how much they enjoyed this day, visiting some places and even playing with snow. I can tell and see their satisfaction through their eyes.
Those days that we spent enjoying each other's company and spending time with the whole family were the best weeks so far. We're living the peaceful life we want away from the toxicity of my country.
The next day, our final day in Switzerland, most of us are busy packing our belongings because our flight leaves in the afternoon. Then all of a sudden, my mom patted me on the back of my head. I don't know why she was doing that. She keeps patting my head and then she says something so weird. "Gumising kana, hugasan mo yung plato," "wake up and wash the plates," and I was like, "Why would she want me to wash the plates when we were about to leave?" She didn't stop tapping on my head until she slapped me. There I awoke to the realization that everything had been a dream, a great dream it was. Now let's face reality and start washing those plates before my lovely mom transforms into a momzilla.
We can all be idealistic sometimes, and there is nothing wrong with being idealistic if that is what makes us happy and what we see our future looking like. I sometimes dream of having a successful life and living in my dream house with my ideal boy and dream car.
Waking up one day and everything you've been dreaming about finally came true. Imagine what it will feel like when you are finally able to get everything you want in life. The ideal life that you've been wanting since you were a kid comes to reality in just the blink of an eye. How cool would it be if it really happened in reality?

Famous Filipino Street Foods That You Should Try
Street food is one of the best things that Filipinos have. These are the most famous kinds of foods that foreigners and tourists usually love to try. Some foreigners travel to a particular place just to taste different street foods. We Filipinos are really fond of street foods. It's like it's already part of our lives. LOL. Every afternoon after school or after work, we always head to our "suki", our favourite street vendor and dig in to our favourite street food. It's been two years since the last time that I ate street foods. Though we also cooked foods like that, it always feels different when you're on the street with a stick in your hand. Teehee.
[ KWEK KWEK / TOKNENENG ]
https://dianejaramilla.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/gedc0861.jpg
Kwek-kwek is my favourite out of all street foods. It is basically just made of eggs or quail eggs and coated with an orange batter and deep-fried until it becomes crispy on the outside. The Kwek-kwek and Tokneneng are quite the same and the only difference between the two is the eggs that are used. The kwek-kwek is made of quail eggs while the tokneneng is made of regular eggs of a duck. It tastes even better if it's dipped in a sweet and spicy sauce with onions and cucumbers.
[ FISHBALLS ]
http://www.pinoycookingrecipes.com/uploads/7/6/7/8/7678114/fishballs_7_orig.jpg
In my humble opinion, fishballs are the most popular street food, not just in the Philippines but also popular in other Southeast Asian countries. A fish ball is just a fish paste with cornstarch, baking powder, and other spices. It is then rounded just like a meatball. Its main ingredient would definitely be fish. It wouldn't be called a fish ball if its main ingredient was pork. LMAO. I'm just kidding. Just like with the kwek-kwek, you can just dip it in a sauce depending on what you prefer, either sweet or spicy. The sauce is what makes it even more tasty. If you want, you can eat it with rice.
[ BALUT ]
https://streetfoodphblog.files.wordpress.com/2017/07/balut-2.jpg
The street food that the Philippines is known for. Balut street food is not just known in the Philippines, but other Southeast Asian countries have it too. But it's just that when we say balut to other foreign people, they will automatically say that it is from the Philippines and a portion of Filipino food. Balut is just an egg with a fetus inside. It is also called a "duck embryo", which is incubated for a period of 14 to 21 days, and some even last till 28 days, when it is already formed into a baby chick. When you eat it, you just have to open a little hole and sip all the water inside the egg and put a little bit of salt and vinegar. It is best eaten at night. To be honest, I myself haven't eaten a balut with an egg inside. It's not that I'm being "maarte", but it's just that I can't eat a baby duck. Whether it's 14 days old or not, I still can't eat it. I only eat balut penoy, a hardboiled duck egg that doesn't have a baby duck inside or the embryo hasn't perfectly formed yet.
[ ISAW ]
https://cdn.tasteatlas.com/images/dishes/1a61b213f8474301bd14a75d0079633e.jpg?w=600&h=450
Isaw is a pig or chicken intestine being barbecued, which are two of my favourite barbecues. You can eat it with rice on the side. It is best eaten during dinner time, as it is usually prepared or sold during the night. I haven't seen anyone selling barbecue during the daytime. Have you? LOL. If you're worried about the inside of the intestine, don't worry since they've already cleaned it. But it honestly makes it taste better. I'm not kidding. HAHAHA
[ BANANA CUE ]
https://dianejaramilla.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/tumblr_m7bgsxwomh1rsb673.png?w=736
A Banana Cue is just a caramelized banana on a stick. Literally. You just have to deep fry it and pour some sugar on it until it becomes sticky and starts to coat the banana. This is the famous 3 P.M snack of the Filipino people, along with cola or just orange juice. You can also make a lot of things using bananas. The first one is this, the banana cue. You can also make turon, a banana wrapped in a lumpia wrapper and sprinkled with white sugar, or if you want, you can also make caramelized turon, which makes it even sweeter.
To my non-Filipino friends, I hope you enjoy the foods listed above.LOL. You might as well wanna try it making one of those. I assure you that it tastes better than what it looks like.

What a good start for the month of November. Thank you so much @Mickey.med for your sponsorship, I truly appreciate it. A happy new month to all of us!
Feels Like Yesterday
The month of October has come to an end, and we are ringing in the new month of November with a Halloween-themed greeting. Why does it feel like October was only a few days long? It feels like three days have passed. Time rushes by so quickly that we aren't even aware of it. November is the 11th month of the calendar, and that also means that Christmas is fast approaching. We only have 54 days left before Christmas. I could not believe that it was already 54 days. I don't really count days. That's why when I asked my mother how many days left, I was literally shocked LOL. I also feel like I just wasted my whole year of 2021 doing absolutely nothing to improve myself. I'm gonna welcome the year 2022 with just the same me in 2021.
Today is November 1st, and it is a holiday called All Saint's Day. We only prepared a couple of foods for this evening. My mom cooked, *Biko, Puto, Pancit and a Suman.*
The first day of November is an exciting day for us, or should I say, a Halloween for us cousins, because all of us like to celebrate Halloween together. Every Halloween, we always do things that make us laugh, just like last year in 2020. What we did at that time was recreate our old Halloween make-up and costumes from when we were young, together with my cousins. Imagine, all of us are already adults and we're still doing things like kids. This is also how we bond and spend our time together.
When I was a kid, I was always a victim of getting pranked by my older cousins. They always made fun of me and my other cousins when we were young. Like, they would literally lock me up in a room, and they would turn off the lights and just leave me there. They would only open the door if they heard me crying. They're the worst, ever. And sometimes they will trick me. For instance, they will say that my mum calls me, but the truth is that they only say it to lure me out. They would literally wait in a dark place and then scare the sht out of me. That's how worse my cousins are.
But now that we are old already, they just couldn't prank each one of us because we're already aware of it. And now, our new victims are our nephews and nieces. LOL. We, all of us, are literally the most annoying group of cousins. Sometimes, we play pranks on our aunts and uncles, and even our grandparents. But we don't do pranks that are below the belt; we only do simple pranks knowing that they're easily scared. Just a prank that can make everyone happy.
And tonight, we're at our grandparent's house singing along and vibing. I wonder if it's okay to have a videoke on All Saints' Day. LOL. If all of us are gathered around, expect that there will be an alcoholic beverage in the middle. I was the only one who didn't drink because I hate it. Cousins who drink together get bloated and have high blood pressure together. Oh, to tell you honestly, I'm not being KJ (Kill Joy), but I always told them not to drink too much because when they get old, they might end up just like our uncle, who is an alcoholic and has high blood pressure. And regret will always be there in the end. I always remind them to drink moderately.
So what about you guys? What have you done for Halloween so far? Did you guys enjoy and have a lot of fun with your trick or treats? Do you mind sharing your treats of candies? LOL.
That would be all for this first article of the month, because I still need to continue my job. I'm on duty today as a Plate Attendant. A huge shout out to all the plate attendants out there! HUHU

Spine- chilling Spooky Questions
Hello, Kamusta kayo, my read cash buddies? I do hope you guys are having a great and blessed Sunday. Have you guys prepared your spooky costumes for tonight's trick or treat? We would love to see you guys having fun this Halloween. Well, as for us cousins, we will be celebrating Halloween tomorrow evening with the whole family. Just gather around light candles, and offer some prayers for our lost loved ones. I don't know what my cousins are up to this Halloween, but maybe they're up to scaring other people just like they did last Halloween.
This would be my last article for the month of October. This would be my last Halloween-related article to be published. I have chosen different spooky and Halloween-related questions. If you wish to answer some of these questions too, then just **RAWR** if you want to, then you will be redirected to the sites where you can choose different questions that suit you. And, ENJOY! https://thoughtcatalog.com/holly-riordan/2017/10/50-spooky-questions-to-ask-your-friend-group-to-get-into-the-halloween-spirit/
*So, here are some questions that I have chosen.*
Are you afraid of clowns?
Horror, mystery, and thriller are my favourite genres. I do love watching clowns be the killers in movies because they kinda look cool in their cool outfits as well. But if you ask me if I like to watch and see clowns in real life, I say NO. I will never ever watch or talk to a clown in person. I'm also kind of weird, right? I love watching clowns in horror films, but I hate seeing them in real life. I am totally scared of them, and I honestly don't find them funny. Because for me, they're not funny at all, they're scary. Yup, I'm a scaredy-cat in real life. LOL.
If you were given the death penalty, what would your last meal be?
If I'm bored, I also watch a documentary on YouTube about serial killers and other inmates' last meals on the day of their death penalty. I am not satisfied with their last meal though. If you know it's your final meal, why not order whatever you want? For me, I would request a chocolate moist cake, chocolate ice cream, and a bottle of cola. I'll no longer be worried about diabetes since I'm about to die.
Would you spend a full night inside of a haunted house if someone paid you?
If someone pays me a million dollars to stay in a haunted house for a night, then I would love to. Maybe they will let me in if I don't disturb them, right? As a matter of fact, ghosts aren't even scary at all; the real scary thing is humans knowing that they can do whatever cruel things they want. Ghosts, on the other hand? They'll just scare you to death, and if you have a weak heart, then RIP in advance. Welp, kidding aside, humans are the scariest creatures on this planet and the cruelest.
Have you ever used an ouija board? What happened?
I haven't and I haven't even seen one in person. To be honest, I want to try playing the Ouija board. When we were kids, we were playing the spirit of the glass, and we only improvised our ouija board at that time and we only wrote Yes or No.
Which horror movie scarred you for life?
The horror movie that traumatized me when I was a kid was an MMK movie. It was a Halloween special, and when Halloween was about to come, most of the movies that were played on every network were all horror. I don't know what the story was all about. I was just a kid at that time, so I only remember some of the scenes. What scared me the most was when her eyeballs turned into a plus sign (+) and she crawled to the ceiling. It literally took me days to fall asleep peacefully without thinking of that scene.
In the zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
A Katana (sword), of course. The simplest and most useful weapon in the event of a zombie apocalypse. If you have a katana, you no longer have to worry about bullets. You can just slice the zombies that are attacking you. All you need to do is to maintain the sharpness of your sword so that it won't get rusty. A katana would always be my first option if ever a zombie apocalypse happens.
Who is your favorite fictional serial killer?
Mine would definitely be Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and the dude from the movie Wrong Turn. Those guys from Wrong Turn, along with their families, are kinda awesome when it comes to their hunting skills and traps they make. They are also sharpshooters. Just a single shot with their arrow can already hit the bullseye.
Does the sight of blood make you squeamish?
Since I like watching gore movies, I don't get sick or disgusted whenever I see some person bathing in their own blood in a movie. But when it comes to reality, I hate it. Seeing blood everywhere makes me feel sick. This is one of the reasons why I didn't pursue taking the course in MedTech because I am afraid of blood. Whenever I see some accidental photos while scrolling through my Facebook feeds, I will not tap the photos and will not even dare click "See Photos" when Facebook warns me about the disturbing images. I would even close my eyes whenever there was an accident photo.
Would you rather get bitten by a vampire or bitten by a zombie?
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BG8n8vxCEAA1Ypy.jpg
Who the hell wants to get bitten by a zombie? Of course, I'd rather get bitten by a vampire. I would gladly serve myself as a meal if the vampire devouring my blood and soul was either Edward Cullen or Damon Salvatore. LMAO. Well, at least if a vampire bites you, you either die or turn into a vampire and become one of them.
It would definitely be fun reading your witty answers to these questions too!

Wake Up And Pick Up Your Trash!
We're living in a world where everything revolves around technology. Literally, everything.
When the governments around the world implemented a total lockdown that almost took a year, I must say that it has made a significant difference in our environment, as previously crowded cities have been transformed into ghost cities. Polluted roads that are clogged with tens of thousands of cars every day are transformed into peaceful roads. The lockdown makes everything so peaceful. Seeing animals freely walking on roads and in public places without fearing humans that might hit and attack them is a sight to behold. I must say that the Covid-19 outbreak has had a huge impact on our mother nature. It contributes to restoring its beauty, which was gradually fading as a result of our actions. The beaches, mountains, everything has become so peaceful.
BUT...
But as the new normal came, and everything seemed to be slowly returning to normal, the opening of school, work, and etc. The peaceful place from before is back to being crowded once again, and a silent road is slowly becoming polluted again because of those cars. We have become irresponsible again.
When the government authorized several tourist spots and beaches to reopen and welcome visitors, many citizens and tourists were ecstatic to be able to travel again after being confined to their homes. As the tourist attraction reopens, so do the trash and plastics that have been strewn everywhere.
https://www.quillsuk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/plastic-free.jpg
I'm quite sure we're all aware that the majority of the rubbish we toss away ends up in the ocean. Thousands of marine species die every day as a result of eating plastic instead of ocean foods since millions of pieces of plastic and waste are dumped into the ocean every day. Every year, hundreds of thousands of whales, dolphins, and seals become entangled in nets and lines, dying slowly and painfully from suffocation, starvation, and dehydration.
https://dingo.care2.com/pictures/petition_images/petition/032/297760-1547840817-wide.jpg
***[ Millions of marine animals die every year because of the trash and plastic that has been thrown out by selfish and irresponsible humans. ]***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV2gBU6hKfY
One of my favourite YouTube content creators has created another environmentally friendly fundraising charity to clean up the ocean debris. Jimmy "Mr. Beast" and other YouTubers have once again created a fundraiser video for environmental and marine life improvement. They launched #TeamSeas, a $30 million fundraising effort to remove ***30 million pounds of plastic*** and waste from the oceans, beaches, and rivers. They also held a successful fundraiser two years ago called **#TeamTrees**, in which they planted over 20 million trees. https://teamseas.org/
Every **$1** you donated is equivalent to a pound of trash taken from the oceans. And if you wish to donate, you can just freely click this link here #TeamSeas. As of now, they have already accumulated 3,811,354 pounds removed. https://teamseas.org/
By simply donating, we can already help bring back the beauty of our mother nature.
Let's help our marine wildlife live a better life. Let's make it happen to remove 30 million pounds of trash by the 1st of January 2022.
Our world is slowly dying, and if we don't take action with this, the future generation will no longer be able to have a better place to live in. It's sad to say this but we all might gonna die as well along with our dying mother earth.
LET'S ALL HELP SAVE OUR DYING MOTHER NATURE.

Unsa? Say It In Bisaya!
This is the second part of my article about common Bisaya or Cebuano expressions that are used on a daily basis. If you haven't read the first one, you can freely check it out by clicking this. Sus! Maryusep: Let's Learn Common Bisaya Expressions. Aron magka sinabot nata. HAHA https://read.cash/@Jinifer/sus-maryusep-lets-learn-common-bisaya-expressions-911c57c1
Ali, sugod nata. (Let's start)
[ GUGMA ]
*****Gugma***** can either signify '*love*' or '*affection*.' Of course, there is a Cebuano cognate for the word that depicts the most lovely thing in the world. The word gugma can also be pronounced as these, "***Gihigugma***" "***Hinigugma***" "***Higugma***" which all means 'Love'.
For example:
***[ Akong*** *****gugma***** ***kanimo ga awas-awas ]***
***{ My love for you is overflowing }***
or it could be like this;
[ ***Akon'g*** *****hinigugma***** ]
***{ My Love }***
[ PAHIYOM ]
****Pahiyom**** means ‘*smile*’. Regardless of who the person is that we’re talking to, Cebuanos are always ready to flash a smile and treat everyone with utmost hospitality. My grandfather said that he always said these words to the love of his life, which was my lola, or grandmother. Whenever he writes a "balak" or poem to my lola, he never fails to add these words. He said that every time my grandma hears the word "pahiyom", she always has a smile on her face.
For example:
***[ Na dala ko nimo sa imong matam-is na*** *****pahiyom***** ***]***
***{ You got me with your sweet smile }***
****[ PADAYON ]****
****Padayon**** means "to continue" and to "keep on moving forward". The Cebuanos' attitude of perseverance and optimism is best described by this word. We always focus on moving forward, no matter how difficult the circumstance is. I have been seeing and dreading this word all over the internet, especially in every student's timeline or social media. This serves as a word of motivation for each student to continue to keep on moving forward and to achieve their own goals in life. We may fail, but we still need to stand up and "***Padayon lang gihapon***" until we reached the goals that we desire.
For example:
***[ Let's keep on moving forward and we will be successful someday ]***
***{*** *****Padayon***** ***lang ta, ma successful ra ta puhon }***
**[ KAHIDLAW ]**
****Kahidlaw**** means a "*feeling of deep longing for someone*" or melancholy longing for someone.
For example:
***[ Soon, I'll get over this feeling of longing for you ]***
***{ Puhon, mawala raning akong gibati nga*** *****kahidlaw***** ***kanimo }***
**[ WAY SAPAYAN ]**
****Way sapayan**** just simply means "*You're Welcome*". This is what you will say whenever someones say "thanks" or " thank you" to you. You can just simply say "way sapayan"
For example:
***[ Thank you so much for those beautiful dresses! ]***
***{ Way sapayan}*** *You're Welcome*
**[ PALIHUG ]**
****Palihug**** means "*Please*". That is just the simple meaning of that word.
For example:
***[ Can you please hand me my bag? ]***
***{*** *****Palihug***** ***ko'g tunol sa akong bag }***
**[ PASTILAN ]**
****Pastilan**** is a phrase used to emphasize a positive or negative emotion. It could be irritation, contempt, astonishment, or even joy. There is no specific meaning of this one, this is just an expression. This is exactly the same as what you guys usually say like the word "*Aigoo*".
For example:
***[*** *****Pastilan********! unsoan naman ni?! ]***
***{ Aigooo, what am I gonna do with this? }***
**[ SALIG ]**
****Salig**** just simply means "*Trust*"
For example:
**[ Ni** ****salig**** **ko nimo ]**
***{ I trust in you }***
****[ AMPING ]**** / Am - ping/
****Amping**** means treating something with care. Or simply means "*Take Care*".
For example:
***[ Pag*** *****amping***** ***inig uli ]***
***{ Take care on your way home }***
****[ BITOON ]**** / bee - to - on/
Bitoon means "Stars"
For example:
***[ Lantawa ang Bitoon ]*** ***Lantawa*** *means "Look"*
***{ Look at the stars }***
The majority of these Bisaya expressions depict Cebuanos' culture and daily lives. Some words are amusing, some are encouraging, while still others are depressing. Learning these terms for everyday living in Cebu will help you blend in with the island's various residents. Puhon, if you practice some more, you'll be one of the greatest Bisaya speakers.

One More Lullaby
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohNpf4VnlP8
`[ Play for a better reading effects]`
***Wolves asleep***
***Amidst the tress***
***Bats all a- swaying***
***in the breeze..****.*
Teresa sang a lullaby while caressing her baby's head and softly swaying to put her to sleep.
Teresa, the 25-year-old office manager. She is a stunning woman who could draw any man's attention to her every time she goes by. She arrived home at 12 a.m. after a long and exhausting day at work. As soon as she walked into the house, she went straight to her room and jumped into the warm, fuzzy bed. She then drifted deeper into her slumber, oblivious to the fact that she had not changed her clothes. She had an odd dream about a baby while sleeping. It was a nightmare that she had every time she went to sleep. It keeps repeating itself till it turns into her worse nightmare.
She felt a cool breeze coming through the window while she slept. It was palpable on her skin. Ignored the first shiver, but only until she felt something grasp her face. She was startled awake when she felt a little hand on her face. She then proceeded to the restroom and glanced at herself in the mirror, assuring herself that it was simply due to her exhausted and overworked state. She then realized she was still dressed in her office clothes. Then went back to her room after taking a quick shower.
When she realized the time, it was 3 a.m. After a shower, everything looked to be back to normal. She was about to close her eyes when she heard a baby's faint scream. As she proceeded to fall asleep, she didn't even bother to glance at it; the more she ignored it, the more the baby sobbed. **"*****Please let me take a break,*****"** she says solemnly, without even looking behind her back.
The baby's cries persisted. She cautiously turned around and saw a beautiful little baby weeping and yearning for a mother's love. A tear started streaming down her face all of a sudden. "*I'm very sorry*," she said repeatedly as she gingerly picked up the baby. **"*****I'm so sorry for what mama did to you. I was dumb back then and didn't know what to do*****."**
***"I'll just sing you one more lullaby, and you're now free to go."***
Two years ago, Teresa was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend, and sadly, later on, her boyfriend left her all alone. She could not bear the sadness when her boyfriend left her. She felt devastated. The baby was five months old inside her womb when she decided to abort it. She feels like her image will be destroyed if she has a baby. None of her office mates know that she has a baby in her tummy because she always wraps it up and wears a big heavy sweater. She's afraid that her promotion as a manager will be turned down if her boss finds out that she's pregnant.
That is why her baby hunts her every night in her sleep.

This brief story isn't that frightening. In fact, it's a heartbreaking story about an unborn baby yearning for the affection of its mother. A baby that has never seen the beauty of the world we live in and has never been able to touch their mother's face. A child who was neglected by society and was terminated before ever seeing the outside world.
This happens to a lot of people nowadays. But we couldn't blame or judge them easily for doing that thing, because we don't know what they've been through.
This is actually my entry for @Theblackdoll's **#HalloweenContest**

Thai Horror Movies That You Should Watch
Because Halloween is only a few days away, we can expect to watch a slew of horror films on any TV network throughout the world. But before we get started, it's worth noting that horror films are the most underappreciated genre in cinema. Many people are put off by the prospect of being horrified by pounding sounds and eerie appearances, as well as the horrible sight of graphic violence, let alone distressing and gloomy stories that reveal humanity's nasty side and warped brains. Ironically, these are also the reasons why they appeal to a specific audience and are highly acclaimed.
I am a huge horror enthusiast, and it is by far my favourite genre. Horror films from Hollywood, such as "The Conjuring," "Insidious," and others, are also quite good. With their smart narratives, historical references, and societal commentary, these films have effectively elicited terror for great amusement while still successfully evoking fear for brilliant entertainment. Thai horror films, on the other hand, go above and beyond. As someone who enjoys watching Thai films, I can assure you that Thai horror films are far superior to Hollywood horror films. Thailand is a country rich in culture and mythology centred on Buddhist notions such as spirits, resurrection, and black magic. The majority of their films focus on their culture.
***Because Halloween is on its way, I have listed my best Thai horror films just for you! Grab a bowl of popcorn and settle in for a movie marathon.***
**LONG WEEKEND**
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BODk5MzgzNTYtNWUyOC00YmIwLTk3Y2YtOWE5ZjAzMzM1ZjczXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMjQxMDgxMjg@._V1_.jpg
The long weekend is a horror film about a teenager named Thongsook. The story takes set on an island, where they decide to have a long weekend holiday. Thongsook was an outsider in class until he made friends with Nam, who invited him to the island with her. Thongsook was the victim of a mindless prank by Nam's friend, and they had no idea that Thongsook was a spirit medium. On the second night of the "long weekend," which also happens to be Friday the 13th, the bad spirits and ghosts are freed. The consequence is indeed shocking and unanticipated.
**SHUTTER**
This is a story about two people involved in an accident. After escaping the site of the accident, a young photographer, Thun, and his girlfriend, Jane, uncover weird shadows in their images. They realize that additional photographs contain similar supernatural visions, that Thun's best friends are also haunted, and that Jane's boyfriend has not told her everything as they research the phenomenon. The twist in this film was truly unexpected and made everyone feel scared and sad at the same time.
**PEE MAK**
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BYmFlNDU0MmUtM2FiNi00NjRjLWJmNTgtZTE5YjZkZTA3YjlhXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNjc5NTc1MTg@._V1_.jpg
Pee Mak is a horror comedy film released in 2013. Mak invites three veterans he befriended after participating in the war to his home. They arrive to find the entire village afraid of a ghost, about which his companions had heard a rumor. This film is certain to make you laugh out loud. It tells the story of a true love story between two people.
**COMING SOON**
What would you do if the movie you've just seen became real? A film shooting that turns out to be a horrible incident. This movie really made me jump off the couch when we were watching it before. The ghost would literally appear out of nowhere without you realizing it. We know that a ghost would appear because of the eerie background music, just like in common horror movies, but this movie is exceptional.
I bet most of you here have watched these movies already since most of them have been quite popular before. For those people who want to have a horror movie marathon, maybe you'll like these. You can check them out if you haven't watched any of them yet. They are definitely worth watching.

Sus! Maryusep: Let's Learn Common Bisaya Expressions
Bisaya, or Cebuano, is a dialect that is commonly used in the Visayan region of the Philippines. It is also used in other parts of Mindanao, but there are different kinds of Bisaya, but they're still classified as Bisaya LOL. But what I am about to share with you all today are the common Cebuano phrases and expressions that are usually expressed by Cebuanos in their everyday lives. I bet kuya ed @TengoLoTodo will be interested in this one since he likes to learn new Tagalog and Bisaya words.
We Cebuanos are very expressive; we can't say a single sentence without adding an expression, especially when it comes to cursing words. Not just Cebuanos, but most of us Filipinos.
[AMBOT]
"****Ambot****" can be used in a variety of situations by Bisaya speakers. It technically means "*no idea*," but it can also be applied in a variety of other ways. It can also signify "*I don't know*" or "*I'm not interested*."
For example:
" ***Did you know that they ended their relationship yesterday?***"
" ***Ay! Ambot lang uroy!***" [ "*I don't know*"] or ["*I'm not interested*"]
or it could be like this ***["Ambot sa imo!"]***
I have seen other non-Bisaya speakers use this expression as well. Just like Ate @Ruffa , sorry ate, you're the first person that comes to my mind that usually says the expression "ambot" HAHA.
[ MIRISI / GABAAN/ GABA ]
"****Mirisi****" denotes that whatever happened to that individual was for the best, which frequently occurs when something unpleasant occurs. "***Good for you!***" is another translation. "***You got what you deserved!***" The word "****Gabaan****" or "****Nagabaan****" means also the same thing.
For example:
[***"He got bitten by a dog for stealing someone's bicycle last night."***]
[***"Mirisi! na gabaan!"***] "*He got what he deserved!*"
[ SABA DIHA / HILOM OY ]
"*****Saba Diha*****" is a derogatory term, however, it is not particularly negative. It literally means to stifle or shut off someone's speech. This term is sometimes used by Bisaya speakers to convey disagreement on a topic. "*****Hilom oy*****!" is another expression for this one which basically means "****Shut up!****"
For example:
***[" Nanguyab man daw si Jon nimo? yieehh"] "****I heard Jon is courting you? yieehh****"***
***["Saba diha oy!'] "****Shut up!****"***
[ KANANG KUAN ]
"****Kanang****" or "****Kuan****" are Bisayan terms that are used universally. It can be both a noun and a verb. This is frequently used when a person is unable to specify anything or find the appropriate word. "****Yung ano****" is the Tagalog term for this one.
For example:
***["Gi kuan lage ni kuan si kuan"]*** or in tagalog ***["Inaano ni ano si ano"]***
*["He/She did something to someone"]*
[ PUHON ]
"****Puhon****" signifies "God willing" or "maybe someday." When you're hoping for something to happen in the future, you use this term. I'm hoping for a bright and prosperous future. God's perfect time.
For example:
***["Ma successful engineer rako puhon"]***
*" I'll be a successful Engineer someday"*
[ SIMBAKO ]
"****Simbako****" roughly translates to "God forbid". It is said to reverse the words that entail impending misfortune. We Cebuanos usually knock on anything but wood to take away misfortunes, or we say "simbako palayo" so that it will not going to happen. It's like a "sumpa," a curse.
For example:
***[" You hate him that much, maybe in the future you ended up together"]***
*[ Sus! intawn simbako palayo!]*
[ MAO/ BITAW ]
The terms "****Mao****" and "****bitaw****" do not have any literal meanings. These are terms that are used to show agreement. You can also say "****mao bitaw****" to combine the two words.
For example:
***["I heard all bisaya people are all pretty and good-looking"]***
***[" Bitaw! sakto na, tinuod jud na"]*** *"Yup! that's right, that's absolutely true!"*
These aren't just all. There are still lots of Bisaya phrases and expressions that are commonly used by Cebuanos and Bisayas. Maybe I can make another part of this one. But I'm not sure yet when will I e able to write about this. I hope you learned something from this one LOL.

Not your typical godparents
***Spain introduced Christianity to the Philippines 500 years ago.***
Yesterday was the christening of our friend's baby girl, and also the 2nd birthday of her oldest baby girl. All of us were invited to be the godparents of her baby. Barkada (friends) since 2017 is supposed to be present and complete, but only two of our friends were not able to attend because the other one was not feeling well while the other one was on duty. But we are still able to enjoy and have some fun with them. We don't usually get together like this, except if there is an important occasion to attend to, such as this.
The day before the christening, we were told to arrive at 9:30 because there were still some seminars, but guess what? All of us arrived at 10 AM, just right when the mass started. LOL typical penoise.
The mass started at 10:30 AM. The funny thing is that we forgot that we still needed to observe social distancing. All of us sat on the one whole church chair. The church staff even approached us and told us to observe social distancing. We just laughed at our stupidity and moved to different chairs. I thought we're all old enough already, but I guess none of us changed; we still acted like high school students. *Facepalm*
Took this shot after the mass. I just fell in love with the design of these lights, especially the birds. I couldn't even take my eyes off this one.
After the mass, we were told to move forward. The priest at that time was in a hurry, so he needed it to be done immediately. It didn't take that long. What took us too long was the taking of pictures. The baby has a lot of godparents from her mother's side, which includes us, and her father's side, which also has the same numbers as us. All of us bought gifts for the baby. The other visitors stared at us because we brought lots of gifts and were the only ones who had a gift. We are the so-called rich Titas. LMAO. Rich Titas doesn't even have a penny to pay for the cycle fair.
Thankfully, our other friend brought his car and we just saved a small amount of money. LOL. Rich titas but broke. All 10 of us were able to fit into an SUV. It was so freaking hot, literally.
When we arrived, none of us hesitated to grab a plate because all of us were already hungry. It was almost 1 pm when we arrived at their house. Of all the visitors, only our group was the loudest among the rest. Especially when you hear my friends laugh, you will also laugh just by hearing those. After our lunch, they decided to buy an alcoholic drink. They bought an Emperador. At first, they only bought 1 bottle, but later added another bottle. LMAO. After the second bottle, the noisiness becomes even louder. They even had karaoke. Actually, the ones singing the karaoke were the friends of my friend's husband. They were inside the house while we were only vibing to the music outside the house. My other friend almost turned into a cherry because her face started to turn red, not just her face but her whole body. They only had two bottles because my friend had to drive all of us home, so they didn't go over three.
`Rich titas and tito pero walay buot LOL`
***Still, we had fun hanging out together again after not seeing each other for some time.***

Neighbor's Blah Blah Blah
Hello there my lovely read cash buddies! I hope you're having a great and blessed Sunday.
So, I wasn't able to publish an article yesterday because I was busy dealing with something that needs to be done as soon as possible. But this morning, I just wanted to share this early morning rant of mine. It's also because of our lovely neighbor.
We have these neighbors. They're not actually from here, they are just renting an apartment . I guess all of them came from the same city. In a compound there are three families, except for the two guys. This family 1 has one kid and this family 2 has three kids. These kids always come here to our house to play with my nephews and nieces, and sometimes I get irritated at them because they're so freaking annoying. (I know they're just kids) but they keep on manipulating my nephews to do stupid things, such as ruining my mother's garden. They are the ones who broke and stepped on my mom's garden. That's why whenever they want to play with my nephews, I will tell them to go home. Lol.
One time, they were having a party at the compound and they also had karaoke. They are also the neighbors that I'm referring to my rant that I posted in noisecash a couple of months ago. These neighbors keep on singing in the middle of the night. We wouldn't mind if they sang until dawn if they had such an angelic voice, but they don't. They're annoying for shouting nonsense lyrics. They don't mind that they have neighbors too, as if they owned the whole place. My uncle, who is a Barangay Tanod already warned them to not exceed 10pm because they are disturbing other neighbors.
After that, the annoying karaoke in the middle of the night finally stopped. But then they did another dumb, stupid, bobo, bugo thing. I'm not sure what came into his head to justify doing it.This father of family 1 just literally put a hump on the way, which is not even a road, like it's just a 1 meter right of way. His reason for putting a hump is that he was concerned about the kids playing outside and thought they might get hit by a motorcycle. He put a hump right next to the root of the mahogany tree. He's so smart, right? He even insisted that it was the right thing to put a hump on the motorcycle to slow it down. (*Piste ka bugo sa buang oy*). Then my other uncle got mad because they almost fell off the motorcycle because of the hump. He then went to the house of the family 1 and asked who the hell put the cemented hump on the way? My uncle got so mad to the point that he almost punched the father of family 1 because he kept on saying that it was the right thing to do.
Like, what the hell? We've been living here since the day we were born and not a single accident happened nor someone got hit by a motorcycle. It's just that their kids are annoying asf. They couldn't even discipline their kids. Then finally, my Tanod uncle arrived. My uncle told them to take that hump they put down because it might cause an accident. They only listen to my uncle because they're actually scared of him. They're scared that my uncle might report them to the Barangay captain or to the police. LOL. They just wasted cement and sand on that useless hump they made. They're not even using their brains.
After that, they take away the hump they made, and luckily it wasn't that dry yet, so it's not that hard to take it off.
After that small argument between them and my uncle, they no longer do stupid things in our neighborhood. Serves them right. LOL.

You're Not Complimenting, You're Catcalling
I have read ate @Jeaneth 's article Should I Take The Blame? about her experience being harassed while walking alone. Then I also read ate @Yen's article I am not innocent and I know what it is about the girl being touched by an old man, as what her husband told her. https://read.cash/@Jeaneth/should-i-take-the-blame-d077ccbc https://read.cash/@Yen/i-am-not-innocent-and-i-know-what-it-is-504443b2
An issue like this isn't new to us. Every day lots of people are being harassed in any places around the world. People do catcalling at a random stranger and we know that catcalling is not a compliment, it is a form of harassment. Girls are not just the one who are being catcalled, boys, gays, young, old, no matter what your gender is or how old you are, people will still catcall you. Even those people who wear full covered clothes are still being catcalled.
Nothing's more scary than people who will calls you by name and then randomly calls you "***hey, babe***" "***witwiw, sexy***" "***how much?***" and the most common is "***psst! 150***". People think that they're giving compliments but they're not, they're actually making someone feel so very uncomfortable.
I can relate to the girl's reaction on the jeepney as to what ate Yen's husband told her about the girl. This happened to me just a couple of years ago. It was Sunday and I was on the bus back to our boarding house. I was wearing a white shirt and a black short that time, when I entered the bus, there were no available seats except at the back, where there were two seats. There was a guy at the window seat and he was sleeping, so I didn't mind him at all and I just sat there playing with my phone. We know that the bus is a bit shaky. When the bus was about to turn, I noticed him moving slowly towards me, but he was still sleeping. I don't know if he was truly asleep though. Then, until he slowly lent his head to my shoulder, and me being a good girl, I just let him sleep on my shoulder, because I thought that maybe he was so tired. He was just like me, or I guess he was 3 years older than me.
He slept on my shoulder for a couple of minutes, then all of a sudden he slowly put his hands in my legs. My heart began to race. I froze a bit, and I didn't know what to do. My heart began to race so fast. Then I get the urge to put his hands away as well as his head off my shoulder. But then he started to lend his head again. I started to feel nervous, so I looked for the conductor. My eyes were roaming around looking for the conductor, then I finally saw him. Luckily, he saw me, I didn't say a word, I just stared at him. Maybe he noticed that I was feeling uncomfortable, so he approached me. He then asked me if I knew the guy beside me, I immediately told him that I didn't know him. Without hesitation, he taps the guy's head and it wakes him up. He told the guy to sit on the other vacant seat in front.
Then the conductor told me something. He said, "***If you feel uncomfortable, don't hesitate to call someone, especially that you're a girl.***" My heart was still racing and all I said to him was "***salamat kuya***".
I was so thankful for the conductor who helped me that time. I will never forget him. He's an angel sent from above. I hope that there are still guys who are the same as him.

Who Let The Dogs Out?
https://www.broadinstitute.org/blog/broad-goes-dogs
Dogs are truly a man's best friend. They will protect you no matter what. Their lovely fur is so warm and huggable, and they are cute and adorable. Who doesn't want to have a dog, right? I do love dogs. I really love them, but sometimes I get scared of them. I've been traumatized by the aggressive dogs of our neighbors. Those are the dogs that will run towards you all of a sudden and will not hesitate to attack you. I believe that the attitude of the dogs reflects on the owners, on how they raise and love their dogs. Dogs will never become aggressive if their owners treat them right.
These dogs of our neighbor are so aggressive and I don't know why. Every time we walk near their house, they will bark at us, even though they are just right at the gate and locked inside. I don't know what was wrong with their dog. We've been passing near their house for so long and they still didn't recognize us or our smell. Consider yourself lucky if you walk past their house and they are inside. There was a time when I was heading home from the market and I was holding a piece of meat. I thought they were inside the gate. When I was almost near, I saw the black one. There were 4 of them. When I saw the other one, I slowly turned around and headed back in my direction. When I took my first step, the black dog noticed me and started barking, and so did the rest of the dogs. I was standing frozen since I couldn't move. If I ran, they would surely bite me. I was just standing there holding tightly to the plastic of the meat that I had just bought. They were so angry and kept barking at me. It took me 5 minutes before the owner of the dog arrived. My legs were literally shaking and I almost peed my shorts, and I almost cried because I was just too scared that they might bite me. When the owner went out of the gate, I felt a little relieved, but I was shocked when I saw what he did to their dogs. He was holding a thick stick and started beating the dogs. The dog cried so helplessly and went inside the house. Though I was scared, I also felt sad to see those dogs getting beaten by their owner.
Now I get why their dogs are so aggressive when it comes to strangers. Their owners are so cruel to them. It is not the right way of disciplining the dogs. They have feelings too. Despite the fact that they wanted to bite me, I couldn't help but feel sad for those poor dogs who were being beaten by their owner. They do not deserve that kind of treatment. They deserve to be loved by their humans. It's not just me who was attacked by those dogs, but also my cousins and all the random people who walk past their house. Our other neighbor got bitten by one of their dogs too. He was just about to park his motorcycle when a dog suddenly ran towards him and bit him.
We owned lots of dogs, and most of them were adopted and **Askals**. We only had two dogs of different breeds, and none of them were aggressive. They will just bark at you when they first meet you, but later on, they will allow you to pet them. They will just bark at strangers, but they will not attack. Barking is just normal for dogs, especially when they haven't seen that person before. When they see a stranger walking by our house, they will automatically bark in defense because they believe the stranger is an intruder, but they will not run towards the stranger; instead, they will remain where they are and continue barking. None of our dogs have attacked anyone, because they will never hurt or bite someone.
What the owner shows the dogs reflects on the dogs' behavior. If you don't want your dogs to harm someone, then treat them nicely. They are not just pets, but also members of the family.

I'm Not Lazy I'm Just A Little Unwell
I got this title idea when I read ate Jane's article with her article "I'm Not Lazy, Just Tired." and I just also learned a new excuse for myself lol. https://read.cash/@Jane/im-not-lazy-just-tired-00d2a0ca
Here's where I also got the title of this article of mine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WziA88-n02k
Those were the good old days when I was still the most punctual student in class, the early bird among the rest. That was when I was younger. I am that kind of student who is afraid to go to school late because of the consequences. Also, I don't want my atm card or my attendance monitoring card to have a mark of late on it. I was always the one who arrived early; I was the earliest. I mostly woke up early in the morning and took a shower and everything. As I've said in my other articles, our house was just right next to our school, but before, the second gate was still closed and we needed to go the other way, which is to go to the high way. It's not that far, just a walking distance. I arrived mostly at exactly 6 am, and sometimes I arrived before the school guard arrived, and the school was still closed. That's how good of a student I was.
But, not everyone stays the same as they were before. We all change as we grow older and also, depending on who we influence and who we always hang with. When I was in ninth grade, I began to develop into a student who did not take school seriously. One thing that made me change is that my friends are all boys, ever since I was in 7th grade. From going to school to going home, we always go together with my classmates, who are mostly boys, and we also live in the same neighborhood, so that is why. We were classmates from 7th to 9th grade. That is why we became so close to each other and we're like siblings already. I was one of the boys. It's funny because I always excelled in class in my 9th grade year. That was also the time that I surpassed our 2nd honor. I myself couldn't believe it because I didn't take school seriously at the time. My friends even said I was too early for the second subject because I always arrived in class at 9 am after the first subject. LMAO. Every day, from morning to afternoon, my name was written in a log book with a "T" mark, which stood for "Tardy."
Those were also the fun and memorable days I had during my high school days. But as I grow older, my laziness isn't the same anymore. Before, I was lazy just for fun, but as I get older, it's no longer fun, not fun at all. I am already in a reality that I need to face every day. There's something lacking. I've been longing for something, but I don't know why. One of the reasons I was so lazy is that I woke up every day with the same cycle over and over again. I myself would get surprised when, all of a sudden, I became so productive. Like, what is wrong with me? Did I eat something? LOL. I only get productive and motivated when it's already the deadline for submission. That's the time that I am so busy and productive, lmao. Just like earlier, I have lots of articles in my draft just hanging around, unfinished articles that I don't know when I will be able to finish. I have this habit of writing lots of stuff, then abandoning it later because I become too lazy to finish it. And if you're wondering how lazy I am? I am lazier than what you think.
*Actually, I'm not lazy, I'm just a little unwell.*
Finally, I was able to finish this one. It had been in my draft for weeks already, and I only thought of finishing it today because I just wanted to. LOL. This was actually my entry for @JonicaBradley's prompt. If you still haven't made an entry, you can freely share your entry too, and I would love to read it.
And if you wish to participate, you can write anything as long as it's related to **laziness** and it has at least **600 words and 100% originally written by you**. You can submit your entry here PromptlyJonica. Enjoy! https://read.cash/c/promptlyjonica-b4a0

Arrigathankyou Kristoffer san for the sponsorship, sankyu. I hope you're having a great day. @Kristofferquincy
No offense, but..
***"No Offense,"***
- *a phrase used before roasting someone with even more offensive words that would truly hurt their feelings.*
Why do people usually say no offense to someone when they're about to say offensive words? Does saying those words first make it look less offensive, or do they expect someone to not get hurt because they've already said no offense to a certain someone? It is pretty ironic, right? We tell someone no offense and then roast them with an offensive word. This phrase was not intended to be used for offensive statements; rather, it was intended to be used to say or give helpful criticism to someone. They also anticipated that you would be offended, which is why no offense was used in the first place.
https://img.memecdn.com/no-offense_o_161163.jpg
I have this friend of mine who always says the phrase "No offense" and then expects that she will say an offensive word that will surely hurt you. Like, she saw you doing something and she thought it was not good. She will say, "*No offense, but what you did is so boring and plain, you're not even good at it. You could've made it look more appealing.*" It strikes right through our dignity. It's offensive because it's an insult to suggest that you don't take offense before saying something offensive. It's really unfortunate that people who try this only succeed in raising a red flag, exposing them for who they truly are.
I do roast people (not literally), or should I say, I am a frank person. I am that type of friend who will tell you everything frankly. I'm not sure why some people find me funny or think I'm funny because I'm direct, when the truth is that I'm sometimes just being mean. LMAO. I don't use flowery or sugar-coated words just to make myself look good. I hate that. I hate lying to someone and making them believe that they're good or something. I always say exactly what my mind tells me to. I do criticise people, not in a negative way, but in a positive way to help them excel or improve in that specific field or at work. I know that we do use some sugar-coated words when talking to someone because we don't want them to feel offended or get hurt; we want them to boost their confidence.
But we all know that we really need to be true to what we say. It is not being rude, it is just an honest way of criticising LOL. Like, if you're not honest and you keep telling them that their work is all good and perfect when the truth is that it's not, you're actually making them believe that they're already doing well. We really need to tell them that there is something they need to improve, such as this and that thingy, but not in a rude or negative way, but in a good, positive way.
I don't use the phrase "no offense" because it's overused and has already been used to justify using an inflammatory word. They misunderstood the meaning of the term or what it was supposed to signify. Instead of saying "no offense," there are a variety of other words and phrases that might be utilised. There are several alternate terms for such so you don't come out as rude and harsh when speaking or criticising others.
Take for instance,
*"This is going to be a disaster."*
*"I can't think of a nice way to put it."*
*"I mean it in the best possible way, but I'm at a loss for words."*
*"I'm worried that whatever I'll say may be regarded as insulting, I begin by being as straightforward as possible."*
By using those phrases above, you will sound like someone who is not too rude. LMAO. But seriously, guys, seriously, don't be rude.

What If Things Don't Work Out?
What if what you're into right now isn't what you'll expect in the future? What if it doesn't work out? What would be your second option if everything doesn't work and falls down? Are you ready to start again with a new, different one?
To be honest, I am afraid that my future will not be successful. I am terrified of having a ruined future. As long as I can, I will always try my best to have a better and more successful future, no matter what field I am in. I do want to end up nothing but a failure. That is literally one of my greatest fears in life. And I do not want it to happen.
but, some things just don't go the way we want them to be.
**So, What if things don't work out?**
Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamt of having my own cafe and restaurant. I want to be able to work in a luxurious hotel abroad and live the life that I deserve. But what if things don't work the way I expected them to? I can't imagine or picture myself in a situation where I would be. We know that none of us want a plain and unsuccessful future in our life. We want a secure and happy life along with our family.
We start off so hopeful when we're young, especially if we've been fortunate enough to have stability and some sense of love in our life. Life unfolds in unexpected ways, which can be tough and depressing.
I've been reflecting on how random things can be at times. Looking back on my own life, I can see how one seemingly inconsequential decision set in motion a chain of events that I could never have predicted at the outset.
Life may sometimes is so tough. Some manage to disguise it better than others, but everyone around us is dealing with the same issues. Some people are better at fighting than others. But don't worry, you're not alone! Like the seasons, the good and bad come and go. There are two options for you. You may either take life as it is and enjoy yourself at the moment, even when it is challenging, or you can dwell on the negative and be unhappy all of the time. "It's just the way it is. Accept what you can't alter and work to improve what you can."
Stop viewing negative events as barriers to happiness. Consider them as tools to assist you in your search for better windows. Life isn't a competition. You are not the first or the fastest to arrive there. That isn't the point at all. Make a decision about what will make you happy.
Let's focus on the side that brings us positivity and avoid a toxic mindset full of negativity. It doesn't imply your adventure is ended just because things aren't going as planned. Take a minute to look at the situation from a different perspective, and hopefully, you'll find the answer you've been seeking for.

Pain is never permanent, but tonight it's killing me
You know that feeling when you keep telling other people to take a rest while you yourself can't even do what you've told other people to do? Isn't it ironic that we tell other people to take care of their mental health but we ourselves cannot even take care of ours? We're good at making other people happy, but we can't even make ourselves happy.
Has the thought of surrendering ever crossed your mind? If you do, then congratulations on surviving and still continue to keep on kicking. Honestly, the thought of surrendering has always come across my mind, but I was lucky because I was able to shut it off before it crawled all over my heart and brain. It's never been a solution, and will never be. It'll just worsen everything we've been through.
These past few weeks, I've been down. Maybe it's because I was too busy and loaded with work to the point that I couldn't take a rest. My sleeping routine has been ruined to the point that I can only have 3-4 hours of sleep. And I know that it really ruins my mental health, and not just that, but also my physical and emotional health. I've become unhealthy in the past few weeks. I've been telling myself that I'd be better but still couldn't. I could only be better for a day, then the next day I'd be back to being unhealthy again.
What's worse is that I've been experiencing pain all over my body, like literally all over my body, every part of my body from head to toe. Last night, I experienced an extreme pain in my chest. It lasted for 20 minutes or something. I had difficulty breathing. I didn't want my family to see that I was in pain, so I just took a deep breath slowly, repeating it several times to help me relax. I honestly got panicked at first because my chest was so freaking hurt. It felt like I'd been stabbed in my chest. And thank goodness I calmed myself and the pain in my chest started to slowly fade away.
***"Pain is never permanent, but tonight it's killing me"***
I took this from one of Neck Deep's songs, "**December**."

This article is dedicated to a close friend of mine.
She's a very close friend of mine, a jolly, humorous, and outgoing friend you'll ever have. She literally has everything you want in a girl. Beauty and brain, she has it all. But behind her lovely smile and laugh hides a darker side that keeps dragging her down. Who would have thought that the cheerful girl we know was the opposite inside? She cries in her sleep every night. She's silently dealing with her pain all by herself, without letting anyone know. Not a single member of her family knows what she's been dealing with every night in the middle of the night.
It was bugging her every night to the point that she almost ended her life. Luckily, her parents found out about her and took her to a psychiatrist, who found out that she had anxiety disorder and depression. Her parents could not believe what their daughter was doing because they thought she was just doing fine. She always excels in school and always has her jolly and cheerful attitude.
We should all be mindful of whom we encounter every day and avoid judging them because we have no idea what they have been through. We all face different battles and challenges in life. We don't have the right to judge anyone just because of who they are. We should be aware of the words we speak to someone. We may find it funny, but for them, it hurts. Let's help each other fight anxiety and depression.

A Shot Of Mem'ries
Good day, lovelies! How have you been? I hope that you are all having a great day.
I was scrolling through my phone's gallery when I suddenly saw a bunch of random photos that I took a couple of months ago. I do love taking photos, but I am not really good at taking photographs. I just capture random views of what my eyes see as beautiful. I have picked these photos from my gallery that are my favourite ones so far.
WARNING: MANY PHOTOS AHEAD
This is my cousin's favourite gold fish. He owns and breeds different kinds of fish, and he sells them too. I took this shot in the 24th of June. At that time, I was just chilling with my cup of coffee beside the aquarium. This fish was all alone in a big aquarium for grooming and all of his siblings were put in one place. He's been chilling in that position for a minute, which is why I decided to take a photo of it. But sadly, he died two weeks later because there were lots of red and white spots all over his body.
My cute but annoying and bossy little Tsuki loves to scratch my hands and legs. This was the time when I just woke up and when I walked out of my room, I almost stepped on him because he was sleeping right in front of the door. This poor little cute guy is sleeping in that crazy position. I couldn't help but take a picture of him because he was so adorable. I even forgot to wash my face because I was too busy staring and taking photos of him. Look at those cute little fangs of him. Such an adorable but snobby cat. LOL.
I just took this shot of a dragon fruit today, right after eating our dinner. This one was posted in noise cash. I just find it beautiful, so I took a pic of this one. I bought 2kls of this one and it only cost 200 PHP or $4. It's pretty affordable and it tastes good too. My mom requested this one, and she told me to prepare one. She was wondering what took me so long when I could just peel and slice it for just a second. Well, she didn't know that I was busy taking photos of his lovely fruit. LOL.
The day when the rain finally stopped. It rained early in the morning at that time. I guess it was between 4 and 6 am. It rained heavily along with the strong wind that felt like our roof was about to be blown away. Then at 7 am, it finally stopped and all of the leaves from the acacia tree fell into our front yard. It was literally a total mess. I went out and looked at the sky to see if it was really clear. I could see that Mr. Sunshine wanted to take a peek through the thick dark clouds. Actually, the other side of it was already clear and that part was the only one with grey clouds.
This was the time when we had a girls' day out with my girlfriends. I just saw these flowers on our way to the camp site. They just look like ordinary grass, but they have a very beautiful yellow flower which makes them look so attractive. There are lots of flowers everywhere on our way to the top, where we camp in our tent. I have a bunch of photos resting in my gallery. I forgot to clean my gallery and it's already loaded with photos. LOL.
10k roses in Cordova Cebu! This was my first time visiting 10k roses, so I took a lot of photos everywhere that time. It is called 10k roses because it actually has ten thousand artificial roses with lights on it. This was located on the island of Cordova, Cebu. It has a panoramic view of the city of Cebu. Sorry for the low quality since I was using my old phone at the time when I took that shot. It was a couple of years ago.
All photos are mine :>

Answering Random Stuff
Hola! cómo estás? A sudden Spanish words LOL. I just had a conversation with my friend who's from Zamboanga and she speaks Chavacano. She taught me some of the common Spanish words. I forgot to publish an article yesterday because I was too busy dealing with my schoolwork. I had 3 exams yesterday, so that is why I was inactive. Well, hopefully. Tomorrow I will also be having two exams, but they're not that hard, so I guess I can answer them without worrying. LOL. I haven't prepared a topic to write about today because I literally forgot about this one. My mind was so loaded that I forgot that I still needed to write an article. Thankfully, I ran into ate @Eylz2021 Another series of What Question. article and got an idea about my chosen topic for today's article. https://read.cash/@Eylz2021/another-series-of-what-question-4c86a37d
So, here are the random questions I got from a random question generator.
What is something you own that you have never used?
I have this book that I bought two years ago, and until now I still haven't opened the plastic yet from the day that I bought the book. LOL. Though I have read it already on Wattpad, I just decided to buy one because I like the book cover and it will also be another addition to my book collection. My sister keeps telling me to open it because she wanted to read it, but every time she asked me to do that, I always told her to read it on Wattpad. Why bother with flipping pages when you can just scroll through your phone, right? JK. Reading books is way more different than reading through phone :>
**What is the most selfish thing you do that you're okay with?**
Making myself happy first, before anything else. I'm tired of pretending that I am happy when the truth is that I'm not. I've been prioritizing other people before me. I always make sure that they're happy. I'm good at making other people happy, but I myself can't even make myself happy. I guess there's nothing wrong with prioritizing ourselves before anything else. Self-love for healthy and happy mental health!
**What's something that you completely don't understand?**
I don't understand why some people are so eager to find someone to be in a relationship with. I have seen lots of people sharing relationship-related posts with the caption "When Kaya?". Why do they so badly want a partner? Why can't they just enjoy being single? You can still be happy even though you're not in a relationship. The right person will just arrive at the right time, the right moment, and sometimes in an unexpected way. You don't have to beg to be loved by someone. So, don't rush things up; you'll surely find your other half.
**Do you have a recurring dream?**
Yeah, I have. I've been having these nightmares that appear again and again in my sleep. It is so weird because someone always wanted to kill me in my dreams. I have written an article about this nightmare of mine, and if you want to read an article about this, you can check it out here. Demons Under My Bed https://read.cash/@Jinifer/demons-under-my-bed-b29046ee
**What do you remember most about your first crush?**
Wait, I'm trying to remember who my first crush was. LOL. I had this crush when I was in 4th grade. We were classmates. Would you believe it? At that age, nag lalandi na LMAO. Well, I do have lots of crushes, but this guy is something special. It feels like he has a special place in my heart. He's the type of crush I don't want to be in a relationship with; I just want him to be my crush for the rest of my life. But he's a close friend of mine. He was my boy bestie when we were in elementary. What I always remember about him is his teeth. His cute rabbit teeth. He had a retainer when we were in grade school, but he only wore it for a short period of time because we used to make fun of it. You know, kids. Until now, we're still friends and still communicate with each other, but little did he know that until now he still had a special place here in my little heartu. LMAO ang landi mo dzai

**Author's Note:**
That's it for today! Sorry for not being able to visit some of your works, I hope that you'll understand my busy student life. I won't take long because still need to prepare for our two exams tomorrow. After I finished all these exams, I'll surely be active here again.
Still, thank you for your undying support I truly appreciate all of your upvotes, likes, and comments.

Songs I Vibe Into While Having A Mental Breakdown
We all have these comfort songs that we always listen to whenever we feel down or suffer a mental breakdown. Listening to it keeps us alive and it serves as our comfort to keep on living. Music really is our number one companion wherever we go. Just plug in your earphones with a full volume and now you can have your own world and not worry about someone else's business.
Whenever I'm feeling down, I will automatically play music randomly, choosing different genres. But we have this special song that we keep playing on repeat and not getting tired of it.
I have here listed my comfort songs that I always listen to when I'm having a mental breakdown.
**5SOS-** ***Jet Black Heart***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0X7u_mmREE
*"Everybody’s got their demons,*
*even wide awake or dreaming,*
*I’m the one who ends up leaving,*
*make it okay"*
This is a song that I usually listen to because I can relate to it in some manner. People suffering from their own demons were the focus of the message. Individual challenges, mental health, and the cruel reality of human emotions, as well as the situations they can place us in, are all highlighted in the song.
***"But now that I'm broken***
***Now that you know it***
***Caught up in a moment***
***Can you see inside?"***
The lyrics say it all. That is why I love this band, because of how they relate their songs to their fans. Every line has a deep meaning.
**Oasis-** ***Champagne Supernova***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI-5uv4wryI
I always vibe to this song whenever I'm feeling down. I don't know why, but the song gives off chillin' vibes. I keep listening to this one on repeat and I never get tired of listening to it. It's so relaxing.
***Five for Fighting - 100 Years***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR-qQcNT_fY
This song is a tribute to life. It outlines the benefits and drawbacks of living a full life. The good times benefit you in many ways, and the bad times make you stronger. The lyrics are a metaphor for life's ups and downs. It's wonderful at times and difficult at others, but all roads lead to the same place: your final days, when you're "99 for a moment, dying for another moment, and I'm just dreaming, counting the ways to where you are." It is at this point that we realize the true purpose of life. "There's never a wish better than this: when you only have a hundred years to live,"
I can still clearly remember listening to this song when I was young, up until now I still listen to this one. It never gets old.
**Twenty One Pilots-** ***Ride***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw-0pbY9JeU
***I've been thinking too much (Help me)***
That feeling when you're depressed but still headbanging and vibing to a very depressing song. Like, who wouldn't vibe into a song with a great beat? LOL.
***Yeah we all think about the end just way too much***
***But it's fun to fantasize***
But if you look deeper into the lyrics, then you will know what the song means.
***Paramore- Last Hope***
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoYu7K6Ywkg
***I don't even know myself at all***
***I thought I would be happy by now***
***The more I try to push it I realize***
***Gotta let go of control***
***Every night I try my best to dream***
***Tomorrow makes it better***
***Then I wake up to the cold reality***
***And not a thing is changed***
The song is about battling "cold reality" but keeping happiness in one's life.
***It's just a spark***
***But it's enough to keep me going***
Even though "it's just a spark," we can entirely control our unhappiness with that spark, rather than being controlled by it. It doesn't matter what's going on in our life; all that matters is that we're happy. Happiness isn't merely a 'feeling' that happens to us; we can definitely choose whether or not to be happy. Even though we've been through a lot of misery, we're still the same person we were before.
And yes, when I'm depressed, I usually listen to a more depressing song. I don't know why but I find comfort listening to it. It keeps me alive. :>

It should've been me instead of her
Have you ever been so regretful in your life for not letting an opportunity or not letting someone enter your life? You rejected someone but later regretted it, hoping it was you instead of someone else. I have been in that situation many times in my life. I wasted lots of opportunities just because I was so shy and didn't have the courage to do so. Then I picture myself thinking that I was way better than that one.
Way back a couple of years ago, we were having our acquaintance the next day, and the faculty of our department was looking for an MC for the event. It needed to be male and female. Then this teacher of mine recommended me to be an MC because she somewhat liked my diction, then my other teachers agreed. I was then called to the office for my confirmation. When they told me that I would be the MC in front of a lot of people, I didn't hesitate to back out. I told them that I couldn't be the MC of the event because I have stage fright and might get knocked out if my legs started shaking. But my other teacher insisted and said that I was the one fit to be an MC along with my partner, who is also a friend of mine. I suggested my other friend because she's so confident, unlike me, who immediately hides in my shell whenever there are lots of people around.
Then, when the event started, and I heard them, the toxic side of me then activated. I then thought to myself that I was way better than she was, that I could do better than that. My toxic stupid a$$ immediately activated, hoping it was me instead of her. Pretty annoying, right?
I thought of this topic today because my friend told me about her love problem today; she rejected the guy and is now crying because she discovered he is already in a relationship. I was about to scold her, but then I realized that I was just like her before. But the difference between us is that I didn't cry when I found out my crush was already in a relationship. After all, why would I waste my tears on someone when there are so many fish in the ocean? LOL. My friend literally cried. She regretted why she rejected the guy at first, when the truth is that she also had feelings for him. She's playing hard to get, I guess. My friend is kinda beachy too. She said she's prettier than the girlfriend of the guy. She even said that he and she are more compatible with each other. But if you truly love that certain girl, then you're willing to wait for her until she's ready for a relationship. But you can't just give up easily when you're bored and then find someone else.
But as what they've said, "*Nasa huli ang pagsisisi*" regret will always be at the end of the line.
But if we knew that they're happy, then just let them be happy and accept the reality. That's what life is, we may lose an opportunity or we may lose someone but we're pretty sure that someone way better than the previous one will arrive in our life.
https://pics.esmemes.com/it-is-what-it-is-accept-it-and-move-on-7937170.png
I told myself that I should sleep early tonight, but guess what? Here I am in the middle of the night writing this one to be published this day. I wasn't able to write this morning because I was busy with our prelim exam.
Welp, still, thank you lovelies for dropping by and reading this super late published post of mine.

Random Questions Under The Rain
Have you ever been so exhausted and felt like your life energy is almost completely low? And the only thing that keeps you recharged is to entertain yourself, even just for a minute. This is literally what I am doing right now. I was just chilling, scrolling through my feed when suddenly this friend of mine messaged me and asked a sudden question out of the blue. Her questions were so hilarious, and we talked for so long that we didn't notice the time. I even forgot that I was tired LOL.
**Here are some random, silly questions that you might wanna try.**
What's the longest you've ever gone without a shower?
Would you believe it if I told you that I've tried to not take a shower for a week? Yes, a week. Well, I have an acceptable reason for that, and the reason is that I was sick and just laying in bed all day without taking a shower, but I soaked a towel in warm water and used it to wipe all over my body and then put some alcohol on it to help me not look like a homeless kiddo with messy hair. LMAO. But honestly, I feel like a stinker lol. Imagine not taking a shower for a week and sweating like crazy every hour. Imagine the smell of it, yucks.
What's the one thing you wish you could unsee?
This has been imprinted in my mind for how many years, and every time I see him, it will automatically appeared in my mind. Like, why does my brain keep on replaying those moments that happened before? That was so embarrassing, to be honest. I don't know if I will tell you this, but the thing that I saw was, omg, my classmate's Jr. But that was when I was in high school. It was an accident. I didn't mean to see his baby though. It's not my fault. He was also a close friend of mine, and after that incident, it took us a month to get over it. Then after that, we just took it as a joke. LOL. Since I am the girl, I am the one who is embarrassed. Yikes!
If you could be a member of the opposite sex for a day, what's the first thing you'd do?
As a girl, you know we are also curious about what do boys do especially when they're with their hommies. Eyy! You know the drill bruh, do what hommies do! HAHA just kidding.
When was the last time you lied to a friend?
Uhm, just earlier. My friend messaged me asking what I did today or if I had finished an activity for today. I told her that I had not done anything, not a single thing, because I was so tired. But the truth is, I am already finished with all of my activities and am just chilling by reading articles and reading manga. LOL. I know what you're thinking right now that I am a cruel friend, lol. She also did the same to me. We're like this, so nothing personal.
What's the biggest secret you've kept from your best friend?
I fell in love with her crush. You know the feeling of being a bridge between the two? Yeah, I was the bridge to connect them. But who would've thought that the girl he liked was me? Honestly, I got to know him first before my friend met him. He was also a close friend of mine, my boy best friend, to be precise, which is why I was so comfortable with him. My friend was the one who always told me to send her regards to him, and me being a good friend, I always did what she told me to do. I told him, "*Hey, a friend of mine has a crush on you*" and then sent him a pic of my friend. And all he replied was, "*Your friend is cute, but I already like someone and she's way cuter than your friend, but sadly, my crush is blind because she didn't see how handsome I am*." Then he will send an annoying pic of himself. I really had no idea that all this time, the girl he was referring to was me. The time came when he confessed to me that he liked me. I like him too, but I just play dumb for the sake of our friendship with him and her. Until now, he didn't have any idea that I liked him. I have not told my friend about this either. I acted as nothing had happened. I don't wanna ruin our friendship in exchange for a relationship. Let's just keep it like this, so no one will get hurt.

We can be whatever we want to be..
Back to the good old days where we were just kids dreaming of becoming superheroes that would save the world. Those are those days where we all want to become one of the Power Rangers. How fun it could be to think about those good old days!
But as we grow older, we tend to realize and accept the reality of what we've become. But there is still nothing wrong with hoping to achieve those childhood dreams of ours. It cost us $0 to dream of becoming who we wanted to be.
I was just done watching my favourite childhood movie when I came across reading ate Jane's article about the new promt, "If I were." It made me reminisce about those days when I wanted to be this and that in the future.
**If I were a butterfly**,

If I were a Butterfly, I would go explore different flowers. I don't want to waste my time sticking to only one flower knowing that I only have a short lifespan. I'd go out and enjoy life, flying to different flowers I saw around me. We can't just focus on one thing. We also need to explore and appreciate what is around us. We also need to get out of our comfort zones. Maybe we will see that there is way more beauty in things that we haven't seen yet.
**If I were a Billionaire**,
https://s.keepmeme.com/files/en_posts/20210218/when-you-become-billionaire-hence-you-never-achieve-your-dream-of-becoming-millionaire.jpg
If I were a billionaire, I'd be the happiest one. Not because we are wealthy, but because I can finally do whatever I want without having to worry about our financial situation. I can do lots of charity that would surely help those in need, not just people, but also those animals that need some good care. In this cruel world we live in, animals are the most affected.
**If I were a coin,**
https://pics.me.me/spare-some-coin-42168142.png
If I were a coin, I'd want to be the 1 Peso coin. When we say 1 peso, it sounds like it's just nothing but a coin and some people do not even mind if they lose their coins. People don't care about one peso if they have lots of money, but you know that here in the Philippines, it is the most needed money of all. Here in the Philippines, people need it most, like in everyday lives. Like, if you want to buy water from a vending machine, you need to pay for a jeepney fare or bus fare, you'll always need the one peso. But there is a certain place that won't use 1 peso. Instead, they will give you a piece of candy for a change instead of one peso. They're fine with giving their customers candy in exchange for change, but they won't accept candies as payment. Like, that's what they do, right? And they'd get mad at you if you paid with candy, like, duh.
**If I were a superhero**,
https://pics.me.me/rook-things-jean-grey-jean-blue-jean-red-jean-dead-5605513.png
If I were a superhero, I'd want to be like Jean Gray from the X-Men. She's one of my favourite X-men because of how badass and powerful her superpower is. She was also the first thing that caught my attention when I first watched X-Men. She was the most OP (Over Powered) character in X-Men, in my opinion. That is why, right after watching it, I've been dreaming of having a superpower just like her, LOL. And, don't mind the photo I attached, I just found it funny lmao.
**If I were a tree**,
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/red-maple-tree-picture-id1168312073.jpg
If I were a tree, I'd want to be a maple tree. One thing I love about maple trees is their leaves. Yup, it's beautiful, right? And it's Canada's flag if I'm not mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong. Aside from their beautiful leaves, we can also make maple syrup out of their trees. What is more fascinating about maple trees is that they could live for 200 years! Sanaol kahoy.
**What a happy life it can be if we can be whatever we want to be.**

My Work Experience in a Japanese Hotel (2)
This is the continuation of my article from yesterday, and if you haven't read the first one, you can check it out here. My work experience in a Japanese hotel https://read.cash/@Jinifer/my-work-experience-in-a-japanese-hotel-442b8bf6
https://res.cloudinary.com/jll-global-cmg/image/upload/ar_16:9,b_rgb:000000,c_pad,dpr_auto,f_auto,q_auto:best,w_1440,h_810/IC/Img/rz/imp1gws5nrcmucmymb7w.jpg
As I stated in my previous article, Japanese people are workaholics and dedicated to their jobs. But it is not just that; they are so generous with a great sense of humour too. Even though they can't speak English properly and fluently, they will always try their best to interact and laugh with us. I still remember when I first arrive in Kenshin, Motoi san said that I am kawaii. Teehee. But you can't just talk behind their backs because some of them know how to speak Bisaya or Cebuano. Yes, some of them studied Bisaya just like Motoi san. He is fluent in Bisaya. If you hear him talking, you can tell he is Bisaya without looking at him. And he has a Filipina wife. That is also the reason he's good at Bisaya.
When it was lunch time, it was a holiday and they didn't have work, so they were just chilling with a glass of beer. Mr. I forgot his name. He asked for a bottle of beer. I asked him how many bottles of beer he would take (in English) and I was shocked when he said, "Utang ko beer tulo kabuok, ilista lang" He's so fluent in Bisaya. I really have no idea if he's good at Bisaya. My nose almost bled from speaking in English with him. He just laughed at me when he saw my surprised face. LOL.
When you see them in person, they look like ordinary Japanese people, but in reality, they are the owner, presidents, and managers. They look so simple, they're just like ordinary employees. They act like what workers do; they don't mind what their position or rank is. When someone comes back from Japan, they always bring chocolates for their employees. We got to eat some too.
What I like more about this hotel is the room for the waitress and cook. The waitress's room and the cook's room are in the same building. We were put in the waitress's room. The room has two double decks, a flat-screen TV with a sofa, and it is an air-conditioned room. Every break time, we went to the room to relax and watch some TV. It has a shower if you want to take a shower if you stay for a day. Actually, we didn't really have a lot of work to do. The busiest times were only breakfast and lunch, but for lunch, they only ate lunch in the Kenshin every Fridays and Saturdays because they usually have their lunch at the canteen.
This is what their canteen is. My other friend was the only one who was assigned to the canteen to serve and assist at the counter, and the canteen was the busiest. My other friend and I hadn't been to the canteen until our last day, lol. because I was assigned to Kenshin while my other friend was in the hotel. But I consider myself fortunate that I was not assigned to the canteen because you will need to double your time, and the worst part is that you will not always be able to understand what they want to buy because some of them don't speak English.
The only busy day for us is a holiday or if there is a party. And it is not the kind of party that you're thinking of right now. Their parties consist only of 3 or 5 people. Yup, they call it a party. It's like a luxury party but exclusive only to them. That is the time where the waitress wears a kimono when they serve.
I remember the time when I accidentally broke all the glasses that I was holding. I was holding a tray with 6 glasses and I was about to hand it to the kitchen. I was using both of my hands. The glasses are heavy though. I couldn't open the door because when I pushed it, it closed back, so I only used my feet to open it, but when I was about to enter, it closed again and hit the tray and boom. I was so scared because I thought that they'd get mad at me for breaking those. But then ate told me that it was okay since it was part of the job, and she even told me that sometimes they break the glass on purpose. They didn't get mad at me, but, but the chef did get mad. Lmao, as if he's the boss. Tsk. I really hate him.

Their super duper deep swimming pool. LOL. At the back of that swimming pool next to the coconut trees is the golf course. We know that Japanese people really love playing golf. It is a huge field at the back of it. You can play soccer there because of how huge the space was.
https://www.tsuneishi.co.jp/wp-content/themes/tsuneishi/img/factory/thi/corporate_factory_thi_04.jpg
On the ground floor is the bar station. This is where you will see drunk Japanese people every night. I don't really know what happens at night since we only work there for 8 hours and all of us are on the morning shift. But as our senior said, it is so loud at night, especially when it's Saturday, because Sunday is a no work day. They sometimes have live bands at night. In the morning, it is so boring, but when the night comes, it is so alive.
It is a great opportunity for me to be able to work in a Japanese hotel with, of course, awesome Japanese people. I feel like I am also in the country of Japan because of the environment that I am in. I will forever be grateful to those people who didn't get tired of teaching us everything. You guys are the best mentor.
Now this ends my work experience in a Japanese hotel. Thank you guys for dropping by and reading this.

My Work Experience In A Japanese Hotel
https://www.tsuneishi.co.jp/wp-content/themes/tsuneishi/img/factory/thi/corporate_factory_thi_03.jpg
Visiting Japan is really one of my biggest goals in life, and being able to work and have experience in a Japanese hotel is a huge opportunity for me. Learning their tradition and culture is an amazing experience. I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when suddenly a memory from a couple of years ago passed by while I was scrolling. I took a look at it and it made me remember those days when I was still working for their company. I remember leaving early in the morning and walking for a kilometer towards the hotel. We are lucky if we can catch up with the company's service bus.
The hotel that I've been working at is a Japanese hotel owned by a Japanese as well. It is a huge corporation located in the centre of our city. Because of these Japanese people, our place is one of the reachiest in Cebu. I don't literally work or have a regular job. We were just students at that time, and it only served as our on-the-job training or our work immersion.
Getting up early in the morning is important because you do not want to be late for your first workday. My friends and I literally woke up at 3 am and went to the hotel at 4 am when our check-in time was at 6 am. They were shocked when they saw the three of us arrive so early. LOL. At first, it was a bit awkward, but later on, we got used to our environment and the people we encounter every day. Our senior ate and kuya were the ones who briefed us on what to do, and then the manager also told us the things and rules inside the hotel. To tell you the truth, these people are so cool and awesome. I thought kuya, the manager is a strict manager, but the day after, we became close and the rest of the crew and staff. Except for the head chef, I don't like him, honestly, because he's too strict. LMAO.
This is the Kenshin or the kitchen side. The right side of it was actually the kitchen, and the left side was where the dormitory for the Japanese workers was located. These Japanese people are managers and owners of their company. If you're wondering why, this is a huge corporation owned by Japanese businessmen. They also have a company in Japan, but the main one is located here in Cebu.
They call it Kenshin, and I and my other friend were assigned to Kenshin while my other friend was assigned to the hotel. They call it a hotel because it's only for those guests who checked in at the hotel. It is actually two dining areas, the Kenshin and the Hotel. The Kenshin is the busiest, while the hotel only had 2-3 diners. So it's kinda boring, but there are a lot of good-looking Japanese young men in the hotel though. LMAO. If you're wondering why their T.V is not a flat screen, well same, I'm wondering too. Their TV is an old kind of TV. It is huge, but the back of it is like a turtle kind of TV. Both Kenshin and the hotel have the same TV.
If you get to work in a Japanese hotel, you will definitely be amazed at how workaholic these Japanese people are. At 4m, they were already eating their breakfast. I arrived at about a quarter to 5 or so, and it was still a bit dark when I first saw them. I was shocked to see them eating their breakfast at 4am or 5am. And their breakfast would not be complete without tamagoyaki, which is an omelette. Sometimes they only have lugaw and miso soup. Speaking of miso soup, it was my first time tasting miso soup. Every time they're done with their breakfast, we throw all the food left even though it is still hot and there is lots of food left. It is a waste of food, but we don't have a choice but to throw it all in a garbage bin. Before purging the soup in the sink, he told me to taste it so that I would not get curious about it. When I opened the lid, the smoke went all up my nose and it smelled so bad. I really hate the smell of it. Because it was hot, like super hot, I felt like my face was steaming. I thought it tasted just like the movie, but I was wrong, because my mouth says that it does not.
Japanese people really are awesome and well-disciplined because all of them are so responsible and well-disciplined. After they're done with their breakfast, you can't see a single piece of dirt on their chair and table, because a single piece of trash, or even a piece of eggshell, they will take it and put it in their tray, and they will also bring their tray to us. They will not forget to say, "Arigatou gozaimasu" or "Salamat." to us after giving their tray. What amazes me more is that every single person who enters the door will always greet everyone with an "Ohayo". Literally everyone, they won't stop nodding their heads until they make sure they have greeted everyone around them.
Watashi wa nihonjin ga daisukidesu
It's getting longer; I'll probably make another part of this one. We're not even halfway there. LOL
