Say the truth, do not exaggerate

Good day guys, how are you doing today? I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Let's quickly review yesterday's article.

It is possible for God to bless you with everything you need and even more, not just because of yourself only but so that you'll also be available to be a channel of blessing to others. Some people do not find it easy to give because they’re greedy, although for some people it is not so. What really happens for some is that they're concerned that if they don’t satisfy themselves, they might not get satisfied because they think the resources will be finished.

It’s easy to be generous with another person's property but it becomes a tussle when it concerns yours. Nevertheless God expects us to be generous not only with what others have, but mainly with what we have.

I feel like you've been blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. Some people think they need to be extremely rich to be a blessing to others, but you do not need to be extremely rich to be, besides money is not the only way to be a blessing to others, your time and talent can also be a blessing to others.

When we think of how much you had to work for your hard-earned money, inside your heart, the nature to be selfish will make it hard for you to even think of giving it out. But from experience, givers never lack because God will be faithful to take care of you. You need to understand that God will take care of you.

Everything you have is a gift from God.

People usually embellish the truth in order to get these two things: the attention and the approval of the listener. But eventually, it backfires. Over time, people discover your propensity to stretch the truth, and you lose your credibility with them. And once you lose that, it takes a long time to get it back if ever. It’s okay to say something with enthusiasm but avoid exaggeration. Stick to the facts and resist the urge to be the center of attention by engaging in this form of lying.

There are two forms of lying. There is the form that is meant to be hurtful, which just uses lies as a way to harm. They are easy to spot and combat. The other kind of lie is the exaggeration type. It looks innocent enough and is intended to help rather than hurt. But the problem with this one is that over time, people discover the way you stretch the truth, and you lose your credibility with them. And once you lose that, it takes a long time to get it back if ever.

It’s okay to say something with enthusiasm but avoid exaggeration. People usually embellish the truth in order to get these two things: the attention and the approval of the listener. But eventually, it backfires. Over time, people discover your propensity to stretch the truth, and you lose your credibility with them. And once you lose that, it takes a long time to get it back if ever. There are two things about lies and they're; (1) All lies eventually get discovered. You will lose your credibility with people and it takes a long time to get it back if ever. (2) People will eventually find out anyway about what you lied about. And once people find out that you lied, they tend to cut off future conversations with you or at least treat you very much like a liar.

Say what you mean and mean what you say. This is one of the most important things to remember when it comes to communicating effectively with other people.

Many people think that embellishing the truth is a good thing to do whenever they want to get someone’s attention or approval. But the truth of the matter is that exaggerating isn’t going to get you anywhere. In fact, it will make you look silly and make others trust you less in the long run.

Thanks for reading through. I hope loved it.

Sometimes the truth gets lost in translation. We have to wary of information that we receive and have to verify it.

Lying can be destructive to the point of ruining the trust of other people but as you said it can help also someone to cope up to some things that's bothering his or her mind... Somwtimes it's better if the truth is plain as the blue sky ..no more sweatener or whatever..

People love adding their own sugar to make a story sweeter to hear by the listener, people also tend to lie just to cover up a truth that would still surface. Just as said: lying is a "no good" and it really reduces trust if not kills it entirely.

Exaggeration, is just another way of telling lies. Because it's a figure of speech, (hyperbole) most people tend to misuse it's usage.

Exaggerating stories may help someone to be interested in what you are saying but this may cause some serious misunderstanding when they found the exact same thing that you are telling.

Yeah, they'll have the wrong information about a thing

Everything is on point. Exaggerating things doesn't change anything you only satisfy yourself by bringing high something when it shouldn't be. Being true to oneself means valuing integrity.
