Self-care isn't selfish, it's necessary

What's up everyone! By the way, I wasn't able to upload an article yesterday night when I planned to because when I went in the place where I can have a signal unfortunately the signal weren't good. Ending was, this article that supposedly be published last night wasn't published. Hayyyssstttt, anyways I just published it today morning and will published another one tonight if there's a signal.
By the way, for this blog I'm going to share about self-care?
Now, what is self- care?
For me, self-care is all about how we cared ourselves in all instances through physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. So, if we were caring ourselves in any way we can, then are we selfish? Well, in my opinion were not because as what my title is, self-care isn't selfish, it's necessary. It's really not about selfishness and it's not only about considering our needs but rather self-care is about knowing what we need to do in order to take care of ourselves. By taking good care of ourselves, we then able to take good care of others as well. That is why it is really important that we should take good care of our body, mind, heart and soul for us to also be able to helped ourselves reduced those negative feelings we've had like anxiety, depressions and a lot more. With that being said, we cannot spread the negativity to other because we do self-care instead we were spreading positivities to them and that is one of it's benefit to others and not just in ourselves.
Self-care is about how we knew the proper way of living like how to eat properly, to exercise regularly, how we able to reduce stress, to know when is the right time to paused in everything and do some unwinding or relaxation. Those mentions are just one of the touchstones of self-care and we knew all that is mentioned are all helpful for us. It may brought us to be healthy, to not be burnt out of stressed and also to be resilient. With all that aspects we've had that made us felt good because of self-care for sure we can able to cope up in any difficulties we may encounter in our journey in life.
However, it is also relevant for us to know or be aware that not all things that feels us good is self-care. Because there are also such ways we humans can do to eased those challenging emotions we've felt and that's the unhealthy mechanisms like taking drugs, alcohols, over-eating, and those things that are risk taking. All this self-destructive activities we thought is the best remedy to faced those challenging emotions but the truth is this kind way were just temporary and not a long- term effect for us on self-care. Of course we always wanted the good long-term effect. This is really the difference of doing unhealthy mechanisms and self-care. Because self-care it's for a long-term effect on us since it builds in our inner faith the resiliency, the bravery, the ways on how we can definitely defeat those challenging moments that may come in our lives. We can also able to know how we can radiates those stressors into a positive way it can be for us to have a healthy mind and heart. Therefore, it's truly necessary that we do self-care in a right way and not just to do it in a temporary way by getting involved in those unhealthy mechanisms.
Now, we able to do self-care in different aspects like in....
Physical self-care
This is to be physically healthy. But how to be healthy? Others said that I'm healthy but I knew in myself I'm not because being healthy can't be seen only if your thin, skinny or fat. It's all about how we live our life in the physically fit aspect. The regular exercise, the right eating, proper sleep, and the amount we water we take everyday.
But in my case, I'm sure I somehow to have physical care because I tend to do the unhealthy mechanism like the over-eating. When I'm stressed out I always do over-eating to just minimized the feeling but I know it wasn't right at all because at the end of the day stressed is there as always. That is why it's way is just temporary.
Emotional care
How to be emotionally healthy? Well for me, just ignore the bad vibes and the negativities but if it reall doesn't want to be ignored and we engaged on it then we should always know on how to cope up with it. By sharing it or talking it to a family, a partner, a friend so that you will somehow felt the better feeling of expressing the hardship you'd carry for yourself all along.
They always said, how was your heart? Of course, it somehow affect us emotionally too. Heartbreak as well can affect our emotions but of course as I've said we should know how to deal with it.
Social self-care
This is how our relationship towards others. To maintain it's self-care we should know to to deal with different people with different attitudes knowing their individualities but of course it's always start within ourselves. We should know first on what are our social entities or needs them we will know how to maintain our good relationship to others.
Lastly..
Mental self-care
This is our way on how to dealt with our mind. To have self-care mentally one of it's practices to maintain a sharp mind is to answer some logic statements, doing some puzzle games and even playing some tricky and mind blowing games. This way we can able to have a genius mind. (Lol)
So, that was it. My view on self-care and again SELF-CARE isn't selfish, it's necessary. Do you agree?
