April Fools Month Recap, How Far Did I Go?

April fools month has been a roller coaster for me especially to my favorite crypto Bitcoin Cash. We have witnessed how BCH surge from $400+ price to $1200+. It allowed us to enjoy the ride for consecutive days before it drops drastically due to negative sentiments and some taxation issues of Bitcoin. And since Bitcoin is the root of cryptocurrencies, the majority of the altcoins have been pulled down affecting the crypto market to turn bloody red after the huge spike last bull market.

Despite these uncertainties, we still able to gain profits from the sudden market swing due to some strategies we are applying to grow our crypto portfolio. I may not have the biggest crypto portfolio here, but I am happy to achieve some of my goals for this year within four months only. I guess I was just a bit lucky in this fool's month.

It's the month of April when I entered the other door of the DeFi space. I was only into staking and lending before, but last month, I tried supplying assets to the Liquidity Pool of one of the biggest DeFi platform, PanCakeSwap.

My First Time Yield Farming On Pancakeswap And Things You Should Know About Yield Farming

I have also invaded the Dens of CubFinance to take advantage of their awesome APR/APY. And since CUB was booming at that time, I thought that it's a good opportunity to invade their Dens and Yield Farm to pet and harvest some cuttie CUBs.

Invading The Dens Of CubFinance

I intended to have an experience and learn how DeFi Farming works since I've been seeing articles regarding this matter. I saw how users like PVM and Florie gained more profits in Yield Farming, so I also grab this opportunity and became a Yield Farmer.

But after nine days of putting my BNB on their Liquidity Pools, I have pulled them out from the Yield Farms because I saw its price soaring high. And I thought of the Impermanent Losses once BNB price drops after the spike.

Unstaking My BNB From CubFinance And PancakeSwap, How Much Did I Earn In 9 Days

So in 9 days of Yield Farming, I gained 4+ CUBS and 22+ TWTs but got an Impermanent loss of 0.08+ BNB. Because of my losses, I decided not to put LP on Yield Farming. But I am planning to invade the PancakeSwap farm again using some stablecoins to avoid impermanent losses. And I'll gonna do that this month.

It was also this month when I started sending my readcash earnings to Nexo to gain daily interest from their lending platform.

Earn While You Sleep With Crypto Compounding

In 12 days of lending on Nexo, I earned 0.0010977 BCH and 0.0009378 ETH which is not bad at all than holding them in my wallet and not gaining anything. After 12 days of lending using the Flex Terms with 5% daily interest, I moved my assets to Fixed Terms as it has 8% daily interest. So for now, I still can't provide my total profit in lending on Nexo since I can only pull them out on May 12.

I also started saving $1 this month but I have increased it to $2 daily when Rusty became generous to me. He's back to his old treatment to me though, but I will still continue saving $2 per day so I can buy my laptop once I get back home in September. My $2 daily saving wallet currently has $65.67. I'm hoping for it to increase once the BCH price reaches $1000 again. (And it really did, as BCH went back to $1000+ this morning)

And it's this month that I can say that, Bitcoin Cash has been valued by many.

Many crypto enthusiasts finally noticed the potential of BCH and its upcoming projects are promising that will definitely bring more transactions on the BCH network and will drive its price higher. So just hold your BCH tightly and be ready for the next giant leap to the moon.

And because of this huge leap to the moon, I was able to accumulate $5,000 worth of crypto this month.

A One Time Achievement With Bitcoin Cash

And just six days after, another big opportunity knocked on my door which helped me achieve my $10,000 crypto goal for this year.

10K Crypto Goal Achieved!

It's all thanks to @PVMihalache for informing us about the FORTH airdrop where I got almost $6,000 worth of FORTH. The FORTH I got was then sold and used to buy more BCH and other cryptos. Without the FORTH airdrop, I wouldn't be able to achieve my goal for this year that easily.

So let's break down my active income this month from different platforms. I'm not really that active on Publish0x and LeoFinance because I am busier on readcash and noisecash. Here are my earnings at the time of writing.

• Publish0x: $44.89 (ETH, iFARM, AMPL)

• LeoFinance & Hive: $20.07 + $5.81 = $25.88 (I don't know to they compute the earnings, because if I will base it on per post upvotes, it's $40+).

• read.cash: 0.25465514 BCH (excluding the 0.06448712 BCH I sent to my $2 daily saving wallet) or $261.20

• noise.cash: 0.14126014 BCH or $144.89

For the passive income, I don't know the exact profit from this because sometimes I am unstaking my assets and staking it back. I am also harvesting my profit and add it to the capital. But from this month onwards, I'll make sure not to touch my assets on DeFi platforms so I will be able to monitor my passive income.

But at the time of writing, these are the staked cryptos on CubFinance and PancakeSwap:

• CubFinance: 29.458 CUB with 2.433 CUB profit, a total of 31.808 CUB or $90+

• PancakeSwap: 8.739 CAKE with 0.124 CAKE profit, a total of 8.845 CAKE or $370+

(Supposed to be 14.845 CAKE but I have unstaked the 6 CAKE and use it in spot trading in Binance 🤭)

And for my crypto wallets:

• Bitcoin.com: BCH + 0.0017388 BTC = $+ 1.13117574 BCH (read/noisecash wallets not included) or $1,150+

• Binance: 0.08247689 BTC (all crypto including trading profits) = $4800+

• Coinbase1: 3.98582367 BCH & 0.08464705 FORTH (FORTH I got from watching video) = $4070+

• Coinbase2: $59.82

• Nexo: 0.92190494 BCH + 0.05615006 ETH = $1100+

• Trustwallet: $146+

• Stormgain: $117+ (some are BCH)

Total crypto portofolio: $11,200+

Total BCH: 7.87602559 BCH (1BCH will be sold next bull run 🤭)

The prices are volatile so we can't state an exact amount here, this will go up and down, so I considered this unrealistic for now. But I'm waiting for the BCH price to reach $1,000 again, by that time, my crypto portfolio will be realistic above $10k.

NEW GOALS

Since I have already achieved my $10K crypto goal, I will set new goals for this year.

• To accumulate $15-$20K crypto in my wallet using different crypto passive income opportunities and active income from read/noise.cash/P0x&LeoHive and crypto trading. This means that I need to save more than $5k-$10K worth of crypto.

• To save 10-15 BCH before the year ends. This means that I need to save more 2+ to 7+ BCH.

This month has also been stressful to me because my depression has been triggered by some people in the real world, and pressure in the digital world. But I'm thankful that I was able to get back on track and diverted my negative thoughts into positive ones. I had a lot of realization as well in which you can read from these articles:

If I will compare my earnings from previous months, April so far is the month where I got higher income on noise & read.cash. This might be lower than another crypto portfolio by other users here, but this big increase in my crypto portfolio gives me a chance to achieve half a million (in our native currency) which is the first time in my life.

Will I be a millionaire before this year ends?

I'm not aiming for more but I want to do my best to achieve my goals in life. Although I know, this amount in my wallet will decrease once I get back home.

This article is not to brag but to inspire others especially the newbies here. Always remember that, "if others can do, why can't you?"

There is always success for a person with determination. It might stormy for you today, but remember, it won't rain forever. Just trust the process, and navigate well your journey so you will be able to reach your ideal destination.
