Manipulation is part of business?
Manipulation is the act of modifying, controlling or changing others' behaviour by use of emotional influence to achieve a goal. That goal could be anything from personal gain to simply making someone else happy, but it doesn't necessarily have to benefit only one person. Manipulation is often misunderstood as being wise or smart. Deceiving people for personal gain might work for some time but in the long run, you'll lose all that you gathered with deceit. You'll lose the trust and respect of your friends, family, coworkers and finally your own self-respect.
Nobody likes to be manipulated. Manipulators lie, deceive, take advantage and cheat. They do these things, not for the greater good but for personal gain.
The main point of manipulation is to control someone's mind to make them think, act or feel a way that's favourable to your desires. This can be done through lies, false promises or other tactics that would make someone do whatever you want them to. Manipulators are people with an unbalanced mentality which cause them to take advantage of people for their own personal gain.
Sometimes as lovers of words we do it unconsciously, we usually do get carried away in the right sentence structure and use of words rather than the motive behind it.
When you are manipulative, you are tricking people into doing things they do not want to do. Manipulation is a way to make others want what you want.
Dynamic Manipulation is a way to get yourself to want something.
Manipulation is lies.
Manipulation is a shortcut to the top that leaves the world worse than it was when you started.
Whether you are selling an agenda or trying to stay out of jail, manipulation only hurts you in the end. Just stop it.
To get things done, we have to persuade people to buy into our idea. There’s nothing wrong with persuasion but can be done without adding lies or trying to downgrade others or discredit others' work just to sell ours. Though most people will say the nature of their work leave room for manipulation, especially in the marketing business, where you have to beat so many competitions.
If you don’t, you’re most likely not going to get that thing done.
If you do, you’ll be manipulating them into caring about what it is that you care about.
There are always consequences to our actions. And if you’re not careful, those consequences can be extremely devastating. That’s why, when we lie to others, the damage we do is likely to come back to us in one way or another.
When you are deceitful over a long period it will come back at you and people will not trust anything you say. When people start to lose faith in you it can be very dangerous. People used to lie to get out of trouble, but lying has become such a problem that it no longer helps you. It can hurt your future, and the problem with lying is that when people discover your lies, they lose faith in you and doubt everything you say. You may have felt that the lies were helping you at the moment, but they will cause problems later on and could lead to even bigger issues. The solution is, to tell the truth, as you will have nothing to hide and so there's nothing to fear.
If you don’t want all that you’ve built for a long time to crumble in the twinkle of an eye, you have to come out open in whatever you doing, being manipulative will only cost you a lot.

Today’s article is short and somehow out of sort. Pardon me, my emotions are everywhere. So many things happening at the same time, but I’m working on it. Also, I’m doing a little research about some things, trying not to take drastic steps or take steps prematurely. In the next few days, I hope to get a result. For now, it’s back to the drawing board.
"Manipulation" this topic was discussed in a group chat I am in; few days back, an argument ensued on the term "positive manipulation." I kept wondering how manipulating someone could be positive. I'm grateful I read this. It has further clarified all my doubts. What is bad is bad.
