I think It's just your own opinion. You can do anything. If you see that my article are original and good content too..then you can decide to sponsor or upvote me. But if my all article are good you can sponsor me and if you feel my article are deserve something . I mean it’s very good. Also you like this article. Then you can upvote.

For me upvote my article, that is the sign that the author has a good and very unique article, than being sponsored by someone but never upvote your article nor read it.

Being sponsored means a lot for me. Its like, you trust my writing skills and all the contents that I publish under your support. However, whenever someone upvotes my articles without telling or asking them to, is really an amazing feeling. Its like ohh someone was hook with my article. But yeah at the end of this talks, its all up to you to decide anw.
