Cats are amazing Cats are domesticated animals that have been kept as pets for centuries. They are known their independent nature, sleek bodies, and playful personalities. One of the most appealing aspects of cats as pets is their low maintenance. Unlike dogs, which require regular walks and exercise, cats are content to spend most of their time lounging and grooming themselves. They are also litter trained, making them an ideal pet for people with busy lifestyles. Cats are also known for their agility and hunting skills. They are natural predators and will often bring their owners "gifts" in the form of small rodents or birds. However, this instinct can be controlled through proper training and the use of a leash when outside. In terms of health, cats are generally low maintenance pets. They require regular vaccinations and check-ups with a veterinarian, but they are not prone to the same types of health problems as dogs. However, they can develop dental issues if their teeth are not properly cared for, so regular dental cleanings may be necessary. Cats come in a variety of breeds, ranging from short-haired to long-haired and a wide range of colors and patterns. Some popular breeds include Siamese, Maine Coon, and Persian. No matter the breed, all cats have a reputation for being affectionate with their owners and providing hours of entertainment with their playful antics. Overall, cats make great pets for people of all ages and lifestyles. They are low maintenance, affectionate, and provide endless entertainment for their owners

Hippos They are deceivers of mankind floating and hidden underwater. We thought they are kind: good and generous as ever, They are amiable: but aggressive and dangerous. Thought to be harmless animals: but most of them are voracious. They knew the art of deception spending all day working. Attending some commemoration spending all night in another deed of corruption. Hippos love the water: as what they love is money. They could be of great danger especially in lakes and rivers. They empty our coffers: in the most subtle way. in the most painful way. They are fast attackers: The young are victims of their temper: between the fight one will be hurt. Just because they have the power they dominate the herd. Looks can be deceiving: choose your right leader. Be heedful of what they're doing: because one could bring disaster.

To be Happy, She Tried She, who only knew how to play with dolls stayed at home as she doesn't have friends outside since childhood, she was an introvert she's got too much emotions she chose to hide. Her favorite game was to play as a doctor stranger and her patient would be her teddy bear she did not know, a true person would have been better she could have remembered their memories together. At once she mistook mud as chocolate it was a close call as she almost ate it it was the only time she remembered she was outside a friend, to be happy she tried. Wish she could turn back the time and played with kids who were strangers in her eyes maybe she could recall most of her childhood memories and cherish them all through her life.

Trees everywhere Trees are the kindest things I know, They do no harm, they simply grow, And spread a shade for sleepy cows, And gather birds among their bows. They give us fruit in leaves above, And wood to make our houses of, And leaves to burn on Halloween And in the spring new buds of green, They are the first when day's begun To tough the beams of morning sun, They are the last to hold the light When evening changes into night. And when a moon floats on the sky They hum a drowsy lullaby Of sleepy children long ago... Trees are the kindest things I know.

Back In December Do you remember back in December when our souls were small but our guts were tall? Just like other kids, we were like pigs getting ourselves dirty with no signs of mercy. We got new toys just like other boys we're filled with bliss just like a kiss But those days are over our adulthood is closer I'll never forget you my friend that you and I cherished Every moment until the end.

@Ching13

Do you Remember? There was this boy whom truly loved daring, bold, someone I was always proud of together, we flew high like the doves free and oblivious in the sky up above. You were the king and was the queen who once ruled a kingdom of lands that were green getting home, our clothes wouldn't be all too clean whenever we escape into the sea past the woods, with the sand in between. Days grew long as well as the years when fate decided one of us had to leave here who knew what he left for me as a souvenir would be running along my check: a single tear. We grew up and just like that we both went our ways never expecting we'd stay out of each other's ways I wonder how things would've been if you did stay I still think of the great things we could've done up to this day. I was surprised as to how he first reached out to me it was extremely awkward as how I thought it would be but then he asked, "have you found a king other than me?" "I have," I answered. "But if only you didn't flee." We faced the same sea we saw years ago, waves raging and not so blue tasting the scent of salt brought by the morning dew "Do you remember when the only king I ever loved was you?" "Yes. Yes I do."

Potions class When I was 10, I've religiously read the Harry Potter book series. Like a bible, I clutched it with me, close to my heart because I've always dreamt of going to Hogwarts, to wear those black robes and live in the castle; to let the Sorting Hat decide my fate, even if I'd known all along that I'm a Hufflepuff through and through to use spells like "Occulus Reparo" with my Ollivander wand; to watch Quidditch and cheer for the Holyhead Harpies; to go to Hogsmeade and fill my pockets with unimaginable sweets. When I was 14, I tried to read the series again and I realized I wanted to be Hermione. I wanted to find my own Harry and Ron and continue with all of our misadventures. I wanted to find the Room of Requirement with them and find uncanny items. I wanted to get a hold of the Marauder's Map sneak upon people and look for secret passages because "I swear I am up to no good." I wanted the thrill and that unbreakable friendship. But as I read it again, now that I'm 19 I realized that I just wanted to attend Potions Class with Snape or even with Slughorn brewing cauldrons of potions in unorthodox ways completing them without haste; and I'm constantly curious to know what Amortentia could smell like to me for they said that it smelled differently to every person emitting the scent of the very thing that you love even if you're unaware of it. And I wonder, will it be the familiar tangy perfume that you always wear? Will it be your sickly sweet shampoo that I always wanted to get rid off? Or will it be something else entirely that's not yours? But I'm just a mere muggle after all and these I've been pondering on will just stay as mysteries forever bounded between the pages of the books I love as a kid.

Before I Acknowledge Reality All my life, all I ever had to be was the summary of how people think I should be. I've had my share of do's and don'ts I've gone through all their yeses and no's. Every once in a while, I'd set myself free cause If I stay here, what does it make of me? I will prove to them that I can be whom I dream to be. So much more than the child in me. So much more than what they see.

@Ching13

Forgotten Yesterday Close your eyes, bethink the forgotten yesterdays like your first shower in the rain think, like the first drops remain Close your eyes, remember the mud in your toes or how you were so afraid, stupid, you used to believe in ghosts remember the first time you saw her eyes you can't recall the exact feeling for it wasn't like butterflies, it was like bees it stings you and you know you have to run away. Now, you can't barely remember the date of that rain or from where that mud came you can't barely remember her face, nor her name Now open your eyes, know that you're lucky those were your "forgotten yesterday."

@Ching13

Moon child I remember how my mind would mindlessly roam how every after playtime my hands would be soaked in loam how I didn't see the world in monochrome how I thought I was always safe in the confines of my home. I remember days when my world revolved around the stories I was told I knew not of what life may unfold; how it would be so cruel and cold. The flower path that I tread on was laced with innocence and incorruption any trace of impurity, there was none before it grew barbs and awns. I remember how I used to have impossible dreams how hallways would be filled with childish screams did the right things from what I seemed never once worried how it would all come apart at the seams. The pictures I drew against my slowly depleting grade paper led me to see myself in something bigger; wanting to fulfill my new dream in mind, I was eager in becoming something that I would, after all, regret years later.

@Ching13

Memories I want memories of sitting by a campfire, warm conversation filling the crisp forest air between us, and evening whispers among the trees filling my soul with love for you. I want to wake beside you each morning and feel the brightness and warmth of your sunshine on my fine. I want to travel the worldwith you beside me, explore the space between our souls, and feel the ever-growing love to feed our spirits. I want feel the universe between us, sit beneath the evening sky imagine heaven and thank God for the gift of you. I want to play in the snow make angels, and write messages of love with my gloved hand. I want to for the challenge of conveying toyou this deepening love I have. Trying to tell you how much I love you is like translating beautiful music into something that is still and silent yet I shall always make the effort, though it seems as impossible as describing heaven. I want you beside me as my best friend and lover. Always I want you forever with me, forever soul mates, today and of ways... beyond tomorrow.

A friend A friend is someone who is connected with everything you do. A friend is someone to call up in during good and bad times. A friend is someone who understands whatever you do. A friend is someone who tells you the truth about yourself. A friend is someone who knows what you are going through at all times. A friend is someone who does not compete with you. A friend is Someone who is genuinely happy for you when things go well. A friend is Someone who tries to cheer you up when things don't so well. A friend is an extension of yourself without which you are not complete ***Thank you for being my friend***.

@Ching13

Thank you ❤️ Today, I want to tell you how very much you mean to me. Sometimes in our fast-paced days so many things go unsaid and so many people get taken for granted. I don't want that to happen with us. You are such an important person in my life one of the few people who cares so much and expects so little in return. I have ways felt like can count on you for anything and that I would never be let down. You go out of your way to wake my life happier, and the little things you do mean so very much to me. You have such a big heart filled with so much kindness and love. I feel so very lucky to know you and so very blessed to have you Today want to say thank you - for all that you do, for all that you are, and for how wonderful because you are a part of it.

@Ching13

My sister You know me well enough understand why I am the way I am and accept me unconditionally, with all my flaws. We've shared so many joys and pains, and we've So grown through each of them. So many of my best memories are those spent with you, although at the time I failed to recognize the significance of our precious childhood experiences. It amazes me how much we think alike. I trust you more than anyone, for I know that you always want and hope the best for me. That's not to say we haven't been competitive or jealous of each other from time to time but that's all part of sisterhood. It gives me such great security to know that if the whole world ever turned against me, I would have one last friend standing by me Loyal to the end, no matter what You, my sister.

Celebrating Nutrition It's time to celebrate nutrition. To exult in the privilege of having good, healthy, wonderful-tasting food to eat and having the knowledge of what that is! For too long health fanatics have taken away our favorite foods. Consider the pop fads of our day. The high protein gurus have taken our carbohydrates, the hygienists and raw-food eaters have deprived us of our favorite cooked dishes, even beans. The antidairy purists have attributed several major diseases to the use of dairy foods and eggs. Pritikin and the no-oilers have moved all fats into the no-fat zone. The health food faddists have not allowed even a bit of the big white five: white sugar, white flour, white salt, white milk, and white meat. The only items left in the food chain are fruits and vegetables, and now environmentalists and organic idealists suspect them because of pesticides and genetic engineering. As we try to comprehend the message of the doomsday nutritional soothsayers, we realize these fanatics, collectively speaking, are against all foods! Something is wrong with this approach. If we want to be healthy we must eat good food. Our meals should be enjoyable-even exciting. We should look forward to each one with gusto and celebrate each bite. **Enjoying Good Food** History records ancient cultures celebrating their harvest. Even today many religious devotees offer foods to their gods. Why can't Christians relish their foods and give glory to God, who provides this great cornucopia of gourmet pleasures? Modern Generation X manages to celebrate Thanksgiving and other holidays, but why not make = each meal a celebratory occasion? Even f the six to eight glasses of pure water deserve a toast! It's time for a search-and-destroy mission, not of our favorite foods, but of the negative words we hear discussed such as: forbid, abstain, avoid, resist, and refuse. It's time for a figurative book burning or a boycott of our favorite book chains or cooking shows. Let's begin to notice all the negative titles of books and recipes such as: sugar free, sodium free, dairy free, cholesterol free, and fat free. When nutritionists calculate the dietary intake of nutrients it's not the sugar on the strawberries or the oil in the bread that matters most, it is whether a person is consuming adequate catalytic converting vitamins and essential minerals. And whether they are enjoying the best biochemically rich fruits and vegetables, taking in at least 1,200 milligrams of calcium to build and maintain strong bones. Good nutritionists are far more interested in essential fatty acids and a good source of proteins or total calories than the many different forms of sodium and sugar derivatives found in our foods. **A New Emphasis: Variety, Color, and Adequacy** The new millennial emphasis among national and international nutrition organizations is on variety, color, and adequacy. They are devoting much more space in their recommendations to whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lowfat dairy, and fish, than they are to salt, cholesterol, sugar, and trans-fatty acids. The "health enthusiasts," on the other hand, spend so much time on the food that should be avoided that they have little time to focus on the wholesome foods of choice. Note the following guidelines from some national and international organizations: The American Institute of Cancer (July 1998): Choose predominantly plant-based diets rich in a variety of vegetables, fruits, legumes, and minimally processed starch foods.

More than just a Fairy Tale When our children grow up and go out from our homes to the world, they encounter "heat"-wrong peers, vices, a bad kind of education, drugs, unhealthful practices, worldly pleasures, etc. They use their heads unwisely and end up splitting not only their heads, but also their lives. We parents try all we can to alter the logical consequences for them, but we're helpless. Then we turn to the place of refuge the Christian school! where our children, sick in the head, dying, and dead in sin can be revived. There's Elisha with his gift of life-giving, the Christlike teacher who can make lifeless children come to life again. Can for Christian teachers who have you thank God impacted your children's lives? In our dealing with misbehavior, with our erring children, no substitute exist for parental prayers. The stick is not the answer, just as Elisha's staff did not revive the dead boy. Every parent must take time to pray with each child daily, because the young have their individual temptations to meet, battles to win, and needs to be fulfilled. Every child has to be understood as a distinct individual. In his next move toward resuscitation, Elisha put his mouth and eyes upon the boy's own mouth and eyes. Quite scary, isn't it? It's really risky when we adults place ourselves in the place of the young-trying to understand why they're saying what they're telling us, and trying to see the world through their eyes. Then we begin to realize their needs behind their deeds, the reasons for their behavior. Can you imagine Elisha placing his hands upon the young hands? And then stretching himself upon him? Doesn't that speak of friendship, of a special relationship? Fathers and mothers who are too busy to build memories with their children cannot expect a home filled with the spirit of joy and life. Imagine again Elisha returning and walking to and fro, then later administering first aid. Life reviving takes a lot of patience. We do not expect dramatic and positive results immediately after meting out disciplinary measures to misbehaving youth. We have to spend time praying, reflecting, and relating. Going to the boy's room, the prophet stretched himself on the corpse once more, who by now was waxing warm. Suddenly, the boy sneezed seven times-the signal for complete restoration to life!-and then opened his eyes. Can a "resurrection" come about in our homes? Absolutely-if parents and teachers follow the "Elisha" steps to revival.

Management by Resolution The best time to chart the course Tof our and family is at the start of the New Year. Family management by resolution is one option that home managers must pursue to ensure safe and satisfied sailing the whole year through. What is family management by resolution? It is a cooperative venture of both parents and children to make a resolve under Heaven never to do anything they would be afraid to do if it were the last year of their lives. Resolution is not just goal setting. It is an honest orientation of the family's understanding of their roles and functions. New Year is not just a time for celebration and merry-making. It is also teaching family members how to face and cope with the challenges of homelife the next 365 days. I suggest that family council be done stressing five areas of family management: **CARE**. It is the initial ingredient of handling people. Feelings are important. Words and actions should be governed by the fact that oftentimes we hurt most those who are close to us. **RESPECT**. It is the ladder of reaching intimacy. In the family, the right of privacy is mandatory. This means that parents and children should uphold one another's hold to peace and silence, for it is in silence that we hear the divine. **AFFECTION**. It is a tangible expression of love. Loving our family members is not just a principle but an inherent mandate of our being. Love covers all fears and faults. **FORGIVENESS**. It is giving another chance after a relationship is breached. It is lowering our pride and accepting our vulnerability and finitude. It is opening the door of acceptance when others abandon their relationship. **TRUST**. It is entrusting our lives and our future to our fellow children of dust. It is temper proof commitment in interacting with people who are preys of lies. Transparency is the evidence that we have confidence in our family members.

Dysphagia It is easy to take swallowing for granted. As with breathing, you swallow so frequently that you're mostly not even aware that you are doing it. But for some people, swallowing even a small amount of food, liquid, or saliva can be difficult. Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) is a common disorder, occurring in about 10 percent of adults older than 50. When people with dysphagia (dis-FA-zhuh) swallow, they often say that food gets "stuck" or "hangs up," or that it "just won't go down right." **Down the Hatch** When you swallow, food or liquid moves from your mouth through the back of your throat (pharynx) and into the tube (esophagus) connecting your pharynx to your stomach. A wave of coordinated contractions of the muscles lining your esophagus helps pass foods to your stomach. Muscle bands, call sphincters, at the top and bottom of the esophagus open every time you swallow. When the food is through your esophagus, the lower sphincter quickly closes, keeping stomach acid from coming up into the esophagus. **What's the Hang Up?** Dysphagia occurs when something goes wrong at any stage of the swallowing process. Any condition that weakens or damages the muscles and nerves involved in swallowing may cause dysphagia. Age-related factors also may be a cause of dysphagia. For example, muscles of the esophagus may weaken with age, making swallowing more difficult. Diseases affecting the coordinated movements of the esophagus, such as achalasia (ak-uh-LA-zhuh) or scleroderma, also can dysphagia. cause The two most common forms of dysphagia •***Oropharyngeal dysphagia***. This occurs when you can't start the swallowing process and have difficulty moving food and liquid from your mouth and pharynx into your upper esophagus. In the midd of a swallow, liquids or food particl may come back up through your nos Food may hang up in your throat. I some cases, you may feel like the food or liquid is entering your windpipe causing you to cough or to choke. Weakened throat muscles ofter cause pharyngeal dysphagia Muscles can become weak due to stroke, muscular dystrophy, on neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease). A dry mouth also may cause swallowing difficulty since lubrication from saliva is needed to swallow food. Another cause of dysphagia is the formation of a small pouch (Zenker's diverticulum) at the junction of your pharynx and upper esophagus. If the pouch is large enough to trap some food you eat, you may hear a gurgling sound or regurgitate food particles after eating. •***Esophageal dysphagia***. This is when you can start the swallowing process but feel that the food or liquid gets "hung up" in the base of your throat or chest before it gets to the stomach Pressure or pain in your chest occur. Pain with swallowing may may suggest irritation or inflammation caused by certain infections.

@Ching13

Knocked-out Tooth If one of I your teeth is knocked out of its socket but not broken, it's often possible for your dentist or doctor to reimplant it if you act quickly. A healthy tooth root is held in its socket by ligament tissue. Some of this tissue remains on the root of a tooth that has been knocked out. Keeping the ligament tissue intact until the tooth can be put back into its socket is critical for a successful reimplantation. If you have a tooth that's knocked out: **Don't touch the root. Touching it can damage the ligament**. **Remove any dirt by rinsing the tooth in a bowl or glass of clean water-not by rubbing or scraping the tooth.** **Try to replace the tooth in its •socket and bite down gently on gauze or a moistened tea bag to keep it in place.** If you can't replace it, put the tooth in milk, in your own saliva, in warm salt water, or between your cheek and gum. **Immediately see your dentist** or go to emergency room, where your tooth may be able to be stabilized. Successful reimplantation is more likely if the tooth is in its socket within about 30 minutes. Even with a successfully reimplanted tooth, tissue inside the tooth (pulp) eventually dies. You'll need a root canal treatment to keep the tooth functioning properly.

Put it into action Be honest with yourself about what patterns of behaviour you have and what you are compulsively or obsessively doing. Take the time today to do a personal audit of your habits and behaviours. When you have a complete list, annotate each behaviour with observations on how the behaviour impacts upon your life and affects: ***Admit it how others view you*** ⚫ your ability to work well ⚫ your relationships with other people ⚫ your health your ability to achieve your future plans and goals. It's now crunch decision time: how important is it to you to overcome your addictive or com pulsive behaviour? Are the negative effects causing you sufficient pain to force you to act? ***Sometimes moderation is enough.*** With some behaviours and actions it might be enough for you to tone down and reduce the frequency, for example getting over your need to win every discussion, cutting down your drinking at the weekend or no longer crying every time someone upsets you. ***Seek help*** With addictions where you find it impossible to control your impulses and actions, you can not recover on your own. These addictions can have deep psychological causes and require some form of therapy. Thankfully, today there are many therapy and support groups for all kinds of addictions - gambling, sex, shopping, narcotics, alcohol, spouse abuse, and so on. Many are modelled on the Alcoholics Anonymous groups with their 12-step recovery programme. Deep inner exploration and honesty are part of the process.

Be brave, be optimistic I believe in being optimistic. One of the hardest things in life is staying STRONG when everything else is going WRONG ***What does Optimism mean?*** Focusing on the positive aspects of life i sthe basic definition of optimism, it is indee da practice not a skill. All the Children I suppose if all the children Who have lived through the ages long Were collected and inspected, They would make a wondrous throng. Oh, the babble of the Babel! Oh, the flutter and the fuss! To begin with Cain and Abel And to finish up with us. Think of all the men and women Who are now and who have been Every nation since Creation That this world of ours has seen, And of all of them, not any But was once a baby small; While of children, oh, how many Have not grown up at all! Some have never laughed or spoken, Never used their rosy feet: Some have even flown to heaven Ere they knew that earth was sweet; And, indeed, I wonder whether, There is room for them on earth. If we reckon every birth, And bring such a flock together, Who will wash their smiling faces? Who will clean their saucy ears will box? Who will dress them and care for them? Who will darn their little socks? Where are arms enough to hold them? Hands to pat each shining head? Who will praise them? Who will scold them? Who will pack them off to bed? Little happy Christian children, Little pagan children, too, In all stages, of all ages That our planet ever knew; Little princes and princesses, Little beggars, wan and faint, Some in very handsome dresses, Naked some, bedaubed with paint. Only think of the confusion Such a motley crowd would make, And the clatter of their chatter And the things that they would break! Oh, the babble of the Babel! Oh, the flutter and the fuss! To begin with Cain and Abel And to finish up with us.

Trial of a lifetime When it goes up higher, We blame the sun for the scorching heat. Yet, when the storm takes over, We blame the sky for the raging floods. But we never blame ourselves. when the mountains turn into roads; when the trees become resorts; when we burn carbons to make sugars; And incinerate garbages to be freed of them. We never blame ourselves, W only justify our deeds. We ought to write a book about saving the environment but we do it by cutting trees to produce pages. I am no innocent in this trial that we humans are guilty of. But one thing I really ask for is that at least we have to desire to take care of our environment, ***Thoughtfully***.

Starry Night Poetry There are far too many wonderful things for me. But there's one thing I still don't understand. Maybe I'm too scared to know, or maybe the moon's blues aren't fully glow. I may be certain in calculations or estimations, but there's one thing I completely doubt myself about. Yes, it is a puzzle to me. But one thing is certain: Though I do not fully understand how people fall in love, I know that the moment I share my heart with you, It will always be true and will always be for you.

Treasure from the Deep Buried deep in the earth are treasures of all kinds. There are gold and silver. There are precious stones, too, crystal-clear sparkling diamonds, rubies red as roses, deep-blue sapphires and cool green emeralds. The earth, however, is not the only treasure house. The sea, too, has its own treasures to offer. When we hear of treasures from the bottom of the sea, we think right away of sunken ships with gold and jewels in their hold. We think of daring divers who risk their lives to get back from the deep treasure it claimed. But did you know that the sea has treasures of its own to offer? It has its own jewels produced by its creature-the oyster which makes smooth round pearls out of any foreign objects that get into its shell. Quite often, foreign objects like sand or pieces of broken bells get into the oyster's body. These foreign objects which are rough, irritate the oyster who tries to expel them. If it cannot throw out these irritants, then the oyster does the next best thing-it covers the irritant with fluid in order to make it smooth and less irritating. As the years go by, layers and layers of this coating are formed and so what started out as a tiny grain of sand becomes a smooth round pearl, sometimes the size of a marble. Pearls that are formed this natural way are not always perfectly round. Their shape depends on the shape of the object that gets into the oyster's body. Pearls formed this way also take years to develop. Imagine a grain of sand developing into a pearl as big as a marble! No wonder pearls formed the natural way cost a fortune. Today, perfectly round pearls are produced in a shorter space of time, thanks to the imagination of an intelligent Japanese, Kokichi Mikimoto. These pearls are called cultured pearls and are known the world over.

Expounding a Groundbreaker **LEADERSHIP**. What is it? There are books that can give different views about this word. Some include How to lead? and The characteristics of a leader. But have you ever thought that you, yourself, can lead and be c leader? We have experiences in this life that can define who we are and can describe our growth through the circumstances and trainings we meet. Leading people is not an easy task as it re quires courage to take on responsibility. Leaders of today's time (especially student leaders) share their insights to those who aspire to become a leader and here are some that you should mull over: 1. **Learn More about Your Leadership Style** Understanding your current leadership style is essential. What are your strengths? Which area do you need to improve? One way to start assessing your skills is to take a leader ship style quiz to get a general idea of how you lead. The net offers a wide range of leadership quiz, just be sure to take the appropriate ones. Once you have completed the quiz, read the major characteristics of your dominant style. Are these qualities helping or hindering your leadership? Once you've determined the area, you can begin looking ways to improve your leadership abilities. 2. **Encourage Creativity** Intellectual stimulation is one of the hallma of transformational leadership. Followers need to be encouraged to express their creati ty. Effective leaders should offer new challen with ample support to achieve these goals. O way to foster creativity is to offer challenges t group members, making sure that the goals a within the grasp of their abilities. The purpos of this type of exercise is to get people to stren their limits, but not to become discouraged b barriers to success. 3. **Serve as a Role Model** Idealized influence is one of the four key Icomponents of transformational leadership. Transformational leaders exemplify the behaviors and characteristics that they encourage their followers. They walk the walk and talk the talk. If you want to become a better leader, work on modeling the qualities that you would like to see in your team members. 4. **Be Passionate** Look someone for guidance. Great leaders are not just focused on getting group members to finish tasks; they have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the projects they work on. Start by thinking of different ways that you can express your zeal. Let people know that you care about their progress. When one person shares something with the rest of the group, be sure to tell them how much you appreciate such contributions. 5. **Listen and Communicate Effectively** Another important characteristic of transformational leadership involves a focus on providing one-on-one communication with group members. Good leaders should express sincere care and concern for the members of their group both verbally and nonverbally. By keeping the lines of communication open, these leaders can ensure that group members feel able to make contributions and receive recognition for their achievements. 6. **Have a Positive Attitude** Transformational leaders have an upbeat, optimistic attitude that serves as a source of inspiration for followers. If leaders seem discouraged or pathetic, members of the group are likely to also be uninspired. Even when things look bleak and your followers start to feel disheartened, try to stay positive. It simply means maintaining a sense of optimism and hope in the face of challenges. 7. **Offer Rewards and Recognition** A good leader knows that offering effective Arecognition and rewards are one of the bes ways to help followers feel appreciated and hap py. It may also come as no surprise that happy people tend to perform better at work. 8. **Keep Trying New Things** Who says leadership is a one-way relation ship? As you work toward honing your leadership skills, don't forget to look to your followers for feedback and inspiration. Pay attention to the things that have been effective in the past and always be on the lookout for new ways to inspire, motivate and reward group members. There you have it all. "The road to a million steps starts with a step" an adage says. Start by practicing one of these tips at a time. And don't forget to talk with people that you also look up as They will surely help you assess you on your leadership. **Be a leader!**

An unusual Friendship Some animals and plants have a special kind of friendship. They develop this friendship so that they can help each other. Often, they depend on each other for survival. This kind of friendship is called symbiosis. Symbiosis means that two completely different kinds of animals or plants help each other in order to live. One example of symbiosis is the relationship between man and plants. Plants give off oxygen which man needs for breathing, and man gives off carbon dioxide which plants need for making food. A similar relationship exists between plants and animals that live in a body of water. Perhaps the most unusual friendship is shown by the small bird known as the African honey-guide and the animal known as the ratel. The African honey-guide loves beeswax. Although it can find a beehive on her own, it cannot break it open. So this little bird looks for a ratel. Chirping to get the ratel's atten tion, the honey-guide leads the ratel to the beehive. Upon reaching the beehive, the ratel jumps on it, tears it apart with its claws, and eats the honey greedily. The angry bees try to sting the ratel but its thick fur and tough skin give it protection. When the ratel has finished eating the honey, it leaves happily, still surrounded by the angry bees. As soon as are gone, the honey-guide goes to the honeycomb and enjoys peacefully its favorite beeswax meal.

Tattoo is an Art Tattoo is very popular among college students and young people as well. It is a way of expressing oneself, groups, identification, gangs, fraternities, or as a way of body beautification. The main reason why students get tattooed is that it is their way of self-expression and they just wanted to have one. Tattoo is a kind of art in a way that it expresses human creative skills and imagination, typically in a visual form and it was appreciated for their beauty and emotional power. Tattoo is very common to tribal groups, religious deno- mination, organized criminals, and to a certain country they consider it as a source of supernatural powers. Whang-Od Oggay (who also goes by Whang-od or Maria Oggay), at 102 years old, is helping to keep an ancient tradition alive in the Kalinga province of the Philippines. She's the country's oldest mam- babatok, a traditional Kalinga tattooist. The hand-tapped body art began with the indigenous Butbut warriors. For these men, the addition of tattoos had a very specific meaning; they could only be inked after killing someone. On women, however, body art fell within standards of beauty (Barnes, 2019). Some people may think that having tattoo are scary and dangerous. People always conclude that if you have tattoos on your body, you are already a drug addict or once convicted criminal or associate it to something negative. This is the common stereotype when it comes to tattoos. We can never judge a person based on their tattoos. Other's social status and life should not be based on the ink they have on their skin. Some used it to represent their something about themselves. Mr. Jobell Cris T. Vibal, a professor in a prominent school shared that his tattoo is a form of expression. His tattoo design is a layered books and stated, "I had a picture of layered books tattooed on my wrist since I am a teacher by profession and I find it cute to tell other people that I always bring my books with me". This is not to encourage you or the others to have a tattoo. This is just to let you see the other side of the story. Tattoos or having one might not be pleasing for some and might not be something special to others but always remember that for some, it can be something significant. Let as just always remember that tattoos can never define a person. Let us just respect one another differences and consider each other's preferences. Tattoo is not a label, it is an **art**.
