I stumbled on Mr @Olasquare article where he talk about us showing ourselves love, the article is title "Love Thyself" in this article, he spoke more on self love, not in the bad aspect but on how we should respect and treat ourselves with love.

If your future self is to write a love letter to yourself, what would you tell you self. What are the encouraging words you would like to tell yourself, are you pushing yourself to hard, is it too much for you to bear?, well, I will be writing a love letter to myself. Please read and enjoy.

A love letter to myself

Dear Fashtioluwa

How have you been, hope things are going smooth, I hope studies isn't taking a throes on you. I just want you to know you're loved, it might not seem that way now but you are totally loved, I know you're struggling to get things done now, I know you're feeling alone, like no one is there to help you, but you have to be strong, don't look at your surrounding, look at the vision set before you, the place you are going and where you want to be. Fash Tioluwa, life can't be always sweet, it will give you bitter so you can appreciate the sweetness it brings to you later.

You are not lazy, look back at all you have achieving, all your struggle, your ups and down, all the obstacles you have overcome, you can see now that you're not ordinary, you're strong and powerful, you have great potentials, don't ever think of giving up.

From the bottom of my heart, I want you to know I love you, you're the best of yourself, you're loved by your parent and siblings, you're not in this alone, you have got your family and they have your back always, cause family is "Always and forever" so always stand tall and always smile.

In conclusions

There are people that love you, but there is no one that would love you the way you love yourself, that's why Jesus said "Love your neighbor same way you love yourself" everyone should love themselves, there are some people with low self-esteem, they don't see themselves deserving love, but everyone deserve love, give yourself a positive love, do that thing you love to do, go to that place you desire, say good and positive to yourself and life. Everyone deserve love, show love to others, do things out of love not because you want something in return. I just remembered @Balikis article on selflessness , I think you should read it, the love you show to others , it's the love you show to yourself. I hope you have been able to pick one or two things from this article. Remember, you're loved and you should feel loved too.
