Punctuality? Yes?

So good to read that someone young still knows how to value time when so many of the youth don't care and seem to think they have all the time in the world.

Punctuality is part of being an integrity person and it shows that your are a good example for others emulate

I try my best to be punctual to events or meetings. But when the convener of the meeting isn't punctual also, it really discourages

I have this way of coming late to an event and it usually affects me all the time, so with this I have learnt something new that timing and punctuality is essential and neccessary.

On more than one occasion I got tired of waiting for the person, as he did not arrive then I returned, then he called me, asking why he had not assisted, I answered it was simple, you were very late and I did not wait for you. I have had bosses who call a meeting at 9 am and start it at 12 pm. it is very annoying, that is lunch time, or maybe they like to see everyone yawning and wanting to leave, not paying attention to what they say.

Filipino time Ate eylz haha magsasabi ng 8am nandon na sa pupuntahan pero 8am palang gigising. Ayoko ng ganyang kausap hindi tumutupad haha ako ayaw ko sa lahat ang ma late lalo na po sa work kapag na late maiiwanan ng shuttle kaya mapapaabsent nalang.

Ako yung tipo ng tao na de baleng ako maghintay, ayaw ko ng ako hinihintay, ayaw na ayaw kong nalelate. Lagi akong mas maaga ng 1 hr or 30 mins bago yung usapan. Ayaw ko rin kasi nasasayang oras kaso yung mga kausap mo talaga ang problema hays.

At this present time i've to complete my Molecular Biology note. But i didn’t do anything yet. I think it's high time to set my mind strongly and drive into punctual world.

There was a time in my life that i was super punctual.. and then there came a time that I got tired of waiting.. and then I got back to making sure to make it on time or earlier hehe.

People who are unpunctual to me personally annoy me a lot. As you say, it gives me the impression that they do not take you seriously or that they do not care about the task. You can always be late if there is a problem, we are not robots, but at least notify us before to find out about the situation that will delay the appointment. Notifying shows that you are doing your best to be on time. I don't like being late, I even arrive about 10 minutes before being possible.

If you want to be successful, you need to have certain qualities, and Punctuality is part of them. But modern times have removed the importance of punctuality sadly!

Pilipino time nga madam aguyy, si Mommy ko hate na hate yang mga kausap na laging late. Sya kasi pag halimbawa may lakad dapat ready na lahat kahit 1 hr pa bago ang time ng usapan. Dahilan oa nya, maigi na daw ma sya yong naghihintay kesa yong kausap qng pag aantayin . Saka daig ng maagap ang masipag .

Yes na yes. Dapat talaga punctual tayo sa lahat ng pupuntahan at sasalihan. It is a big advantage kung maaga ka. ❣ Alam mong handa ka kapag early mo inasikaso ang mga bagay².

Just like they say punctuality is the sole of business. These days I don't think it matters anymore. It's now an internet based world and nobody cares as long as you're there once it's time for the usual zoom meeting.

My mama always taught us that if we have some event to attend to we need to be on the venue at least 20 to 30 minutes. Good thing talaga sinanay kami ni mama, kasi nadala ko talaga siya until now. If may lakad talaga ako, or sa work, I will prepare myself at least two hours para di ako ma late. Being on time will really reflect your well being. And for me, mas better ng ikaw maghintay talaga kesa ikaw hintayin ii. Nakakahiya kasi talaga.

Exactly most people take being punctual lightly not knowing that punctuality represent a huge part of their personality especially at work places .

Punctuality is very important to me. I wake up on time. I know myself I need time in the morning. I always try to be 10-15 minutes early. I can get a bit stressy if I am late. All the points you shared are very good.

Being on time is important for me to keep my promise. In online matters, what I like most in this process is that my grocery shopping comes to my door. I always thought of the time I spent at the grocery store as wasted time.

What a coincidence, this is the virtue that I taught to my grade 2 pupils earlier during my class in Values education,...and I remember telling them to remember that "Time is gold and a wasted time can never be recycled and cannot get it back".

And I personally, trying to practice this virtue because I am always procrastinating in doing my things, and I kinda suffer the consequences, hahaha

Mga pinoy sa pinas hndi gaano punctual, pagdating nla sa abroad, ayun nagiging punctual 🤣 bat kya ganun.. Kya hndi umaasenso kpg nsa sariling bansa. Lol

I personally try to be punctual asich as possible. It will always give us advantage in life. Such as in the crypto world, sometimes you need to get in early to reap some benefits haha. And I feel that some people who are late are disrespectful too.

In whatsoever sector we find ourselves, be it as a student or worker in an office one of the things that determines our credibility and how people value us is how punctual we are in getting to work and also getting a job done.

I always try to be ready for classes 30 mins before they start since I hate being late haha. Also, I decided to continue my habit from pre-pandemic of waking up early and preparing for the day immediately. I like to get the things I hate out of the way early on so I can focus on doing some fun things for the remainder of the day.
