Solid north is referred to as the Ilocano who was committed and loyal to Marcos Administrations. The top similarities of Ilokano are we respect and loved the real tiger of the north. I am one of the ilokano. Ilokano is a native speaker of Iloco, the dialect that is used merely in North and Central Luzon and some parts of the Visayas Region.
Are you curious about the word “Apo lakay?” heard from social media or comments that we wanted the son of apo lakay? “Apo” in the Ilocano is meant “God” or “Mighty” and the “lakay” was refereed to a “great man”. So the late president was named “Apo Lakay” for he was a mighty leader and Godly man to the Filipinos. Not only the Ilokano but the entire Philippines. But the things had been changed and the history was reversed. But I won't talk about it in this write.
Do you know the difference between an Educated person and an Experienced person? Try to listen to the educator who read the books and listen to the people who was battling the experience. There was a huge difference. That’s the reason why Ilokano laughed at the history written for Ilokano elders had been said differently. We believed in the book if only one person who was lived under martial law will say it's not true, but things happened when all the elders who were young and had morals in that day will say the book is lying.
I am a boy who once read the “Propagandic book” were saying those bad things in political history.
People know the truth stays in the side of the “Apo lakay” and the young generations now even they don’t hear those coming from their elders but seen the footage of the real thing happened to the martial law will defend and will fight for the right not the candidate but the right things.
This is the main reason why we the solid north and youth are now want the comeback of the Marcos, we want the truth to be heard, the abused yet the biased media gets the covering. We want to veil the secret that was sleeping in the coffin for more than ten years before gets buried. WE WANT THE TRUTH AND CHANGE.
Yesterday was scheduled as Red motorcade day, where people who were volunteered their self, was joined forced to show to the people and the world how much they loved the legacy of “Apo lakay” that its viral yet again covered my no media, the biased media who just want to brainwashed people thou.
I am Ilokano and we are living a peaceful life because of the legacy of the “Apo lakay”. We imagine a very poor life if he didn’t build the “Magat Dam” where is the life-giver for the crops we harvested.
Politics is a very huge topic in my country, it changes everything. Not only the leader but the entire life of Filipinos.
If you hate Marcos then I respect that, so respect whom we loved.
Social media had a very important role in communicating and interactions of the moment the Physical cant be possible. You could see how the people not only the person living in the Solid North but all over the country and outside the Philippines are but the whole world where Filipinos lived.
Youth are now opened and new generations was now evolving.
Another thing is that all the presidential candidates Marcos were the most qualified to talk on union world congress, to command the Philippines Army and to plan what will be the next step.
The Philippines is needed a great leader, the present president of our Republic was greater than others but now time to change the leader but not the greatness they did.
We want Marcos to return to the Philippines palace because we loved the country, we want to change, we want truth and we needed the Philipinnes as a great country again. And we know that’s destiny was getting close to reality.
